Like I said, they usually do a good job but this time somebody wasn't paying attention. And now I'll need to do a thorough walk-around before leaving.

I took my wife’s car to the Benny’s on GreenwellSprings Rd, and the car wash scratched up her hood, and it was said that it was rock chips. I asked to speak to the manager and it was like talking to a kid. This place is very unprofessional and I won’t be back, if they were giving away free gas and car washes I wouldn’t go.. If anyone is reading this please don’t use these people..

I bought Benny's Best, $14, and went through the wash. It didn't even get any of the grime off my car and the free vacuums don't work well. They expect you to scrub your car first and then go through the wash, which is inconvenient. I had to go to another place and pay almost $40 to get my car actually cleaned.

They talked me in to a $44 to get a good inside cleaning. Dust and smudges around radio we're left. Floor board were still had dirt in crevices. I could go on. I was told they don't do a good job and now I believe it. You should get what you pay for. I called and told them politely and the response was nothing but ok. They must get plenty of those calls. Disappointing. I guess they making so much it don't bother them. I will not be back.

Destroyed my car!!! Benny's destroyed my car. I went through the car wash as I have been doing every week since I discovered them years ago. As I'm went through I notice my car was being harshly rocked side to side when all of a sudden my back window exploded by one of their brushes. Meanwhile everything in my vehicle is getting soaked by water. After the fact I talked with a manager there whom pretended he could not go back on the video footage to show me while stating that since my car is ten years old they are not responsible ANY damage to my vehicle. Also he had the nerve to tell me they won't give me a windshield but the can sale me one at a good price. I have been bring my personal vehicles along with company vehicles here for years and never experienced such a matter. If it was a rear view mirror I would understand. But this is much more detrimental. I absolutely DO NOT recommend taking you vehicle here for any service.

You can't do inspections in the rain? Really because it sure looks like you have three oil change bays free for use, your telling me I can't pull in for 10 minutes while you inspect my car. I suppose your business isn't run by money, because you will not be getting mine - ever. A better business would be using at least one of those empty stations for inspection. Thanks for the free vacuums, it turns out they still operate in the rain.

I just moved from New Orleans and was quite use to going to another quick car wash place that had a monthly pass, I assumed they would be similar. The only thing similar was the price...the customer service at this place is terrible. I was going to get a detail package, until I was informed that I couldn't pick what I wanted and the lady got snippy with me. So I decided to go through the express wash and purchase the monthly pass for $29.99, paid and went through the wash. That part was uneventful and the wash was ok. It left a lot of chemicals on the car that I had to wipe down after. Now the fun part, completing my monthly pass. I was told to go see the man in the white shirt. I handed him my receipt and filled out a form, at which point he took out this 4 inch by 3 inch sticker to place on my windshield. I told him that with all of the sensors and my heads up display I would rather just hold it up to the scanner when I come through. He didn't speak very good English and simply told me not, and insisted on putting it right on the middle of my windshield under the mirror. I told him no and he told me to call corporate to cancel... So Monday I called their corporate office and spoke to an apologetic woman who said that should have been no problem and that I would be getting refunded the cost of the plan. A few days later I received a credit for $17.99 out of my $29.99... needless to say I will never go back.

I got an oil change, they overfilled it, when I went back a couple weeks later instead of saying 'sorry we'll fix that for you.' He denied that there was an issues and said that is normal to be way over the fill line. With each oil change you get a 'free' wash'. They completely missed floorboards in the back of my car. The car is small so I don't see how they could have missed it so I'll chalk it up to not caring.

Gets your vehicle super clean, don't spend the extra money for the wash with the tire shine. I have 4 vehicles and it never covers the tires properly. Also excessive use of this type of automated car wash will remove your clear coat on your vehicle.

Terrible place. Wasted over 3 hours of my time for nothing. So I got there to get my oil change and waited for 20min in line before it was my turn. Then the guy told me that they can’t do it and I asked him why. He said that the oil bolt or whatever got bald. But he said he can change it and replace it and it’s gonna take a while. He said he’ll be able to do it tomorrow. So I asked him if I can wait and he said it’s gonna be a while because he gotta do the cars coming in first. I’m ok that’s fine. Little did I know, he did all those cars that were in line and all the ones that came after me until they closed at 6:15 and I’m the very last. I was so pissed waiting since 3:30 and I guess I wasn’t a priority as a customer that came before everyone else. So then he finally started on my car. 10min later, he came back and said he couldn’t do it because he needs special tools to split it open. Are you effing serious?! Because I had to make sure that he can fix it before I waited. Won’t ever come back for anything

Had just bought my brand new vehicle and took it in to have it washed. Their machine left lines and streaks in windows, they half washed my car, still had bugs on it and the interior still had spray spots from the cleaner they used! Great service! I went here to get some pet hair out of my vehicle. I have all black interior. They did a great job removing it. I have 3 big dogs and one has husky so the shedding can get crazy. It hadn’t been done in a few months and I was scared of the price to remove this. They had a very reasonable price for the request and they were all nice and informative about everything. They were upfront and honest about not knowing if every single piece of hair could be removed which there are a couple of hairs but it’s so minor you can’t even tell. My vehicle looks great and is almost 100% dog hair free for now. I would defiantly go back and trust them to take care of my vehicle again.

My fiancé and myself went here for an inspection for a vehicle. The gentleman working at first ignored us until I went over to speak to him. The gentleman continued to ignore me and walked to my fiancé who was in the vehicle, and said “we don’t do inspections in the rain” (it was a light mist, one would hardly call it a rain). When asked why the gentleman said “that’s what the DMV says”. I quickly looked up this “Law” and discovered that an amendment to the law was passed in 2014-2015, that did away with weather effecting state vehicle inspections. In short we were turned away for an employee not being updated on state regulations on inspections. A service was needed but this place turned us away. I have been impressed with Benny’s car wash and detailing services, but this employee left a really bad taste in my mouth.

Omg I just had the worst experience with the greenwell location concerning my inspection sticker. The manager Mike (oil bay manager lied and told me he was the manager when infact hes only the manager for oil maintenance. However a inexperience girl name Emily told me that my tint was too dark but after checking the percentages with a device she stated that she had a little room in the percentages and that I would pass my inspection. Her manager Mike advised her to not tell me that I would fail and charged my card the 18 dollars then escorted me to my vehicle after failing me. I reported the incident to Rob an alleged operations manager whom was not familiar with the inspection sticker law, but agreed with the approach that was taken. Bennys is a racist company who doesn't value costumer service and only speaks about the inspection sticker law when it's in their benefit. I have supported this location for years and realised that everytime Ive visited the staff is always completely different. Every dispute is not about race however I do feel that being a young black woman driving a Mercedes caused the level of customer service I received. Would never go back, nor recommend any family or friends to visit that location. I most likely wont visit any locations after meeting Rob the operations manager who by the way approached me without greeting me or shaking my hand. #the worst company ever! Good news I went somewhere else and was able to get the sticker! Be leery of Mike the oil bay manager (racist)

Disappointed in their state inspection service. Stopped by the other day to get an inspection done but their shop was flooded so they could not do the inspection. Understandable—stuff happens. But when I came back the following day to get a state inspection the mechanic told me my OBD II sensor wasn’t reading. Thought that was weird because I had just gotten a read-out on it the day before. Brought it home—checked the fuses and OBD port—everything was fine. Brought it back to Benny’s—same thing. Went to a nearby auto shop to get inspected and they got an OBD II read-out right away and said everything was fine. Returned to Benny’s to request my money back since there was nothing wrong with the ODB sensor and they wouldn’t despite their fault. Loyal customer beforehand. But cannot give my business to a place that does not right their wrongs.

Terrible attendance. Today I arrived at 5:00 pm and at 6:00 pm when it came my turn the staff called someone else for the inspection. I waited 1 hour in a hot car, me and my child 4 years old with special needs and left the site without inspection. When I questioned the employer why she called another person before me she said she can't guess whose turn it is. This is not the first time this has happened to me in this place. I gave 1 star but they deserve 0 star.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I paid $40 for a carwash and detail, or that is what was described to me by the attendant. I feel like I paid $40 dollars for my tires because that is the only thing that looked good. I had to have them vacuum the inside of my car again, and good thing I lifted the back hatch because they didn't even vacuum back there. When I lifted the back hatch the bumper was gross and dirty. So sick right now that I spent $40 and I could have gone to a drive through car wash and cleaned the inside myself for $10.

I will never trust Benny's for the maintenance of my vehicle!! I was warned before hand to make sure the guys fill my all of the fluids all the way when I was referred to Benny's for an oil change(RED FLAG, but didn't pay it any mind). I wanted to get an oil change and an inspection sticker, due to me just recently purchasing a vehicle. I pulled up to the area marked for state inspection stickers....waited for about 20 minutes no greeting or "I'll be with you in a sec"... This guy named Dave took one look at my car and said " I can tell you right now, this car will not passed inspection because your tint is too dark." But you can see straight though my vehicle! I left the property and had a mechanic put a tint meter on my windows... my front side windows were 40% and my rear windows were 42% (Louisiana law says front windows are no darker than 40% and the rear is 25%). Dave is a lazy and dishonest person...The guy Levi offered to do my inspection, but I didn't feel right trusting them to do a safety inspection or change my oil, even if it was offered for free.

Went to get an inspection sticker. Sat there for almost an hour in an empty line and when someone came out to help me they would not do the inspection because they didn’t know that “renewal date” on someone’s proof of insurance is the exact same thing as “expiration date”. Went a little further down the road and had the inspection done by someone else no problem.

I wanted my seats shampooed. I arrived at exactly 755am with three cards ahead of me. The young lady stated it would be 2 1/2 hours so I waited. They never started on my car till 9 am. When they finished no one bothered to let me know and when I viewed the car it was half done. He told me I had to wait in line again after paying $150 for the service. Disappointed in their state inspection service. I arrived an hour before the shop was set to close, turned over all of my information, waited 20 minutes and then was told that they would not do my inspection because it was too late. After I kindly asked for my information back so I could be on my way they rudely decided to do the inspection for me. Overall it took 50 minutes to get an inspection which is outrageous considering the fact that there were only two people ahead of me. I'm sure this place isn't entirely bad, but as far as the inspection service goes..I advise going some place speedier. **Update** I went back to Benny's this year for an inspection 1. because i'm a sucker for punishment and 2. because I wanted to see if it was as bad as last time. Shockingly, it wasn't bad at all. There were all different guys in the shop this time that were all extremely friendly and helpful and I was out of there in 10 minutes. It looks like speed and service depends on who is on the schedule that day.

Stopped by today with my husband to get an inspection and the inspection guy refused to do it because it was drizzling outside. It seemed like he just didn’t want to do any work and was kind of rude when I told him we had called before coming. We then had to drive to the Benny’s on Coursey where they had no issue performing the inspection and were extremely nice and efficient. Too bad we had to drive 30 minutes out of the way because the one closest to us had a lazy employee.

Bennie’s has really slacked off in the last few years. The high quality service they used to offer has vanished to be replaced by half-hearted service. They seem to only be interested in the quick drive-thru wash. I always went there the last 20+ yrs as it was the best place in town to get a good cleaning, including shampooing the carpets, vacuuming the trunk, etc. Now, I still pay $43 for the cleaning but you have to ask them to vacuum the trunk, clean the gasoline door, get bugs off the front, etc. I never had to ask before....they just did it. And last time I was there a month or so ago, the carpet shampoo system was busted...for the second time! So, after 2 poor quality jobs at the Airline location, I took my wife’s car to the Essen Lane location. It was even worse. They can’t even shampoo your carpets?? After being a faithful client for 25(?) years, I am moving on. Bye, Benny. You WERE the best.

Terrible service! Would have given them 0 stars if I could! My husband had our van washed and their machine damaged the rear break light. He informed Benny's immediately, but they claim that after reviewing their video footage it appeared there was previous damage to the rear break light prior to entering their wash! This is not true, there was no damage to the break light prior to having the vehicle washed at Benny's! Extremely disappointed in their customer service, and the way they treat their customers. I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone! What previous damage? In your response to this review you claim you offered to install a new taillight cover in- house, or comp our Unlimited Wash Club membership for a few months... You never made any such offer! Why the lies Benny's?

After driving around for a while looking for a place to get my car inspected I settled on Benny's because I've had a reasonably good experience with their car wash in the past. The staff were prompt and friendly. They accepted my temporary registration and were okay with just looking at the insurance app on my phone. Two things could be improved. They could add a change machine that accepts bills larger than a $1. I'm not sure what the point of that is considering the vending machines already accept dollar bills. The other thing they could improve on is directing cars into the thing that grabs your tyre and pulls you through the wash. I've had a variety of things happen over the years. One time I drove up onto the metal rail surrounding the mechanism. Another time I got confused watching the hand signals and accidentally put my car in park and had the mechanism grab my tyre and slip off. I've heard that can break something called the parking pawl in some cars. If they just installed a camera and monitor the process would be way more painless.

The machine does a better job than the human. I have the little club so I was going to upgrade paying the $4 so I was convinced to pay $10 more for the detail saying what the hell. Well I should kept my money and did the cleaning. I still had to clean the inside and vacuum. Also if u detail clean the client tire and makes sure the mats or dry and not have water on it. I should have pay the guy 20 for a better job. So Benny's make sure it's a detail and not just a wipe down here and there. Waste my time and few dollars for that.

I typically get my oil changes at another location. I purchased an oil change at this location today. I was told my transmission fluid needed changing, so I said ok. What I have an issue with is the manager working on the ticket didn't bother telling me the price of that service. He even went to look for a coupon so I wasn't expecting to be shocked at the price. Altogether, I paid $148 for a service that I thought would be a little more than $30 with fluids given the advertised price. My suggestion is to be more transparent with customers on prices for services instead of telling them their bill is over $100. Even I questioned the total after the manager told me. I will be returning to my usual oil change location after this experience.

Benny's use to do a good job when you get the full service wash. Now they are horrible at best. When you pay the extra you expect the basics such as a good vacuum, wipe down the dash, and clean the windows. Waste of money to pay the extras, just buy the cheap external wash and clean the inside yourself. They did not wipe the dust off the dash, clean the windows or anything just wiped down the outside. Sadly, I am realizing that you just don't get what you pay for at Baton Rouge businesses anymore ... I paid $44 for a detail with leather conditioning at Benny's Carwash on Airline Hwy - my car still had trash in the back seat, the side compartments on the doors were not vacuumed because there were still candy wrappers in them, the widows had water spots on them, brake dust was still on tire rims, no air freshener, and the leather conditioner that I paid extra for was just a mess of greasy streaks left all over my interior rather than being properly rubbed in. Even after complaining to the manager and bringing my car back thru detail, they still rushed and did not properly clean my car. I was so frustrated! I have an extremely busy life and do not have time to deal with people not properly doing their jobs the first time around. BENNY'S, please understand that you are doing your hardworking customers an EXTREME DISSERVICE by rushing through your work and not properly doing your job the first time around!

My first time at this location. I paid for the super interior package and gator windshield $49.00. I wasn't notified that my car was ready, I noticed it sitting off to the side. I went out to get my keys, I'm looking over my car and noticed my door scraped I went over to inform the guy of this and that I still had dirt on my car and my tires were not shined up. The first guy was short a Mexican not very friendly. He said he walked off and come back with a bottle said that he would apply something I couldn't understand he was a manager. I go back to the building and the cashier points me in the direction of Tyler he said that they would apply some compound and run it back through the wash. He does that and bring my car back to me in the front of the building didn't even take the time to dry off all of the water or make sure tires are shined up. I ask of he could shine my tires. I leave out of the parking lot and notice that there are still dirt and crumbs in the arm rest, the cup holder and around the area where my charger port is I go back and ask if I could my money back for the portion I paid for them to clean the inside of my car. Tyler says no that they don't fully clean the inside and they only apply a protestant on a small sponge that he showed me. I told him that if I knew that then I wouldn't have paid for that service, he was very rude telling me that they had washed my car twice. I told him you offered to wash because of the scrape and the dirt that was still on the outside and that he didn't redo the inside. I will never ever visit this place again and advise anyone else not to unless you want a half done job. I could have paid 49 to get my car handwashed if I knew it would go through the carwash. I don’t usually do reviews on products or services, but I am so upset about how incompetent this Benny’s employee was and how poorly their management handled the situation that I thought I should bring it to the attention of those that matter, the patrons of Benny’s. I recently found out that Benny’s does inspections at certain locations and decided to try them out. I took my 2015 Lexus RX350 for inspection. I did not have any worries about it passing inspection. It passed as I expected. However, when the laborer was done with my inspection, he pulled me to the side and began to ask me why I didn’t tell him there was tint on my windshield. I was puzzled and asked, what do you mean tint? I thought he was asking if I had tinted my windshield. I informed him, if there is any tint on the window, it was placed on there by the Lexus dealer and not me. I told him that I’ve had my car inspected several times and I have never had an issue with tinting. He then informs me that he has taken off a good part of the tint trying to remove the old sticker. When I went to inspect the area that he was referring to, all I could do was gasp!!! Are you kidding me? He had taken about 6X6 inches or more of the (LEGAL TINT) that was installed by the dealer. Why would you do that is all I could think? When I brought the car in the current sticker was already loose on all four ends. He could have pulled it off with very little force if any. He aggressively went after the sticker about 2 ½ inches above where the sticker started and left cuts in the tint and glass as well. He then proceeds to talk to me about people putting tape on the sticker to try to keep it on the glass and asked why I had used so much. OK…was he trying to insult my intelligence or deflecting from what had really just happened. He obviously used too much force on the instrument he was using and ripped the tint on the window, and instead of stopping with the destruction of my property, he continued until he had removed both the sticker and the tint. When I explained to him that this was unacceptable and that I wanted to speak with someone about what would be done, He told me that” I could file a claim if I wanted, but he was 100% sure that they wouldn’t pay it, because they don’t do that.” I received a call the next day from Chris, who informed me that the employee did not know there was a tint on the window. When I asked why he didn’t stop when he saw he was damaging the tint, he replied “we train our guys to remove stickers so they can apply the new one”. According to Louisiana law, Non reflective tint is allowed above the manufacture’s AS-1 line or top 5 inches. So since it is legal and acceptable in the state, it is Benny’s responsibility to verify if the windshields are tinted or not. You have now damaged glass and tint that will eventually began to bubble and cause me to pay out of pocket for something your employee did because he failed to inspect properly. Benny’s had been so consistent with other services at the other locations, but they really dropped the ball on this one and the service guy was the worse and has no integrity. This is awful!!

I was pretty disappointed by the work that was done detailing my vehicle. There were drops of wax all over the front hood of the car as well as smudges and fingerprints elsewhere on the exterior. It didn't even look like the outside had been cleaned well. On the inside of the vehicle, it looked like very little had been done in the way of cleaning. Besides where the leather seats had been sprayed, very poor job overall.

Went to get the "Wheel Deal" $7 which is what i always get, because i like the way the tires look afterward. Used my Credit card, went through wash, wash display confirmed that i was getting the wheel deal, yay! Got home, car looked good, but noticed my credit card was charged $10 for the #2 Works Wash!!! Called the car wash and was told that's impossible, and i must have using the machine wrong. REALLY? It didn't seem challenging. Then he said 'well no one else has complained" seriously? Maybe they don't watch their receipts lke i do, perhaps I'm the first to speak up about it. I imagine that they're laughing about the fact that theyre stealing $3 from people before they realize what happened.

The staff is excellent! But they KNOWINGLY put the wrong oil in my car because it would be cheaper. This has been maybe 1 year ago now but I’m just now getting around to reviewing. When I went back to let them know what Walmart said (Walmart didn’t have the oil I needed) they basically said they knew but that oil was cheaper and it should run fine with that oil but it was causing my car to actually run a little funny because of the wrong oil.

Most of my Benny's experiences at OTHER locations are wonderful; however, this one was horrible. Firstly, whenever I finished the car wash, every vacuum was taken so I waited to the side. When someone was about to pull out of their vacuum spot, I had my blinker on to enter the spot. An employee ran up to me and rudely said there was someone else waiting. So, I said ok and asked where I should go. He said "wait over there." I did that. When other cars began leaving, he allowed other cars to go (that came after me) so I took it upon myself to park where the employees clean cars to clean my own car. No one cared or even remotely tried to help. Worst experience ever.

I’ve never had any issues until I dealt with a very rude Kristen or Kirsten. Not sure how to correctly spell her name but I’m assuming she does inspection stickers because of the orange shirt she had on. I’ve never had to ask for assistance, but today I tried to purchase glass cleaner out of the vending machine & of course it ended up getting stuck. So I run around to the front to try to get some assistance and Kirsten is already assisting a customer so I stand behind him. There’s no way she didn’t see me because the entire wall is glass. So she checks the gentleman out in front of me, looks at me, and closes the glass and walks away. I turn around to look at the other customers to see if they saw what had just happened and they looked just as shocked as me. Wow, just how rude. So finally another lady saw me standing there and walked over to assist me. All I wanted to know is who I needed to speak with to help with the vending machine, so simple. But instead I had the glass slammed in my face.

I took my brand new 2016 Subaru Crosstrek to Benny's Car Wash on Airline Drive and will never step foot on that property again. They have a special where new cars get washed for free during the first month. Well guess what! So NOT, i repeat NOT worth it. I followed all the directions exactly as they were given to me and their car wash ripped my rear windshield wiper off. I didn't notice it until i had started on my way home but i called immediately and talked to Dean after about 4 attempts at calling. He assured me they would take care of it if i returned the next day. When i went in the next day Dean was not there and there was some other guy there. He had me fill out a claim form even though i explained to him that i had talked to the manager that was there the day before and he told me to come back and they would make it right. Then i finally got him to understand that it was my rear windshield wiper that was ripped off while i was in the wash tunnel. He said oh ok. he then walked over to where they do the oil changes, etc. and told the guy to put a new rear windshield wiper on my vehicle. The guy was inept at best. Needless to say they didn't have the correct windshield wiper and i was told if they didn't they'd have to review the tapes and make sure that it was their fault. How can he even say that. Then he said you probably had your wipers on automatic and that's why it happened. After he verified that my wipers weren't on automatic he said they'd have to follow the claim process. I told the guy their equipment never should have ripped it off in the first place. I will NEVER EVER, and I repeat NEVER EVER go to Benny's car was again. I ended up going to the Subaru dealership and just replacing the rear windshield wiper myself. Do yourselves a favor people and don't ever go here; especially if you have a new car and don't want any damage done to it. And not only that i couldn't get the attendant at the end of the wash tunnel to even get off his butt or his phone long enough to direct me to the correct place and i was chastised for going in the full service line.

I came in here to get an inspection done and they failed my car for having a crack. The woman told me that the laws state that you can't have ANY crack AT ALL in your windshield. Mine was just a small crack that ran vertical on the far passenger side. I checked the laws myself and called three other inspection stations and was told you can in fact have a crack in your windshield and it just depends on where it is and how big it is. So, she lied to me. This was after she yelled at me in front of the other customers in the waiting room for leaving my car after parking. This was my first time bringing my vehicle here but my fiance had brought his car there for years and said that you just leave your stuff on your seat. I saw her yell at another customer too. Of course, there's no signage at all to tell you what to do. Probably the worst experience I've ever had with any car repair or maintenance shop.

Quick and efficient. However they didn’t reassemble my truck properly when I got an oil change. Went back the next day and they fixed it immediately. It wasn’t anything major, just a portion of the air dam under the truck. In there defense, my truck is complicated and built like a tank, as well as not having many models on the road. I can understand the failure. The fact is, they didn’t cause me to lose faith in them.

Absolutely horrible detailed wash, especially for such a reputable place. They didn't even bother to vacuum under the rubber mats, or the spaces between the seats and the console, or the footwell under the steering wheel column. They know you are in a hurry and won't notice until later how a bad job they did.
