Great Car Wash great people and it's good to have a good car wash around like this might be a little pricey but at least you get your car extra dry after you been through the dryer but then some people got to learn there's only one way out you can't just go use the vacuums and then leave you need to use the vacuums and then pay for your wash that's why they got it there if you don't want to you go somewhere else and pay your $2 just to vacuum why sit up there and run out other place and not follow the rule that makes everybody else want to do it too I'm just and I'm just saying right is right wrong is wrong the sign say no exit it's no exit if you come in going through the whole deal go ahead and do it do not try to be slick we are tired of people coming around stealing and trying to play people retarded I think Nick I think people need to handle responsibilities and think for a change what have you had a business and people came onto your property and they just saw a sign say free vacuum or free whatever and you have to go through something to get out that's what you would want them to do right so do the right thing go in for your wash and then vacuum why not help us get money instead of taking money from us we are not the ones we work hard for this money them people over there they drive cars off and they use all the abilities trying to clean cars they need that money have them out that's what I say cuz they are great people they smile and greet you and they never rude at all

I have the top membership package here. The automatic wash is excellent and it appears that they are always on top of maintenance. The vacuums are very decent. I see a small margin for improvement as the top package includes interior detailing and it is not excellent but acceptable. I may be more particular than most but this place is solid.

Big Splash Car Wash in Kansas City did a great job cleaning my car the other day. They have a new point of sale system that works great and is very user friendly. There are not a lot of car washes in Kansas City that do interior cleaning and auto detailing. I recommend this place for its convenience and quality service for a good value!

This location has not been the best Big Splash Wash I've visited as a Fast-Pass monthly member. Over the years of patronizing Big Splash, the midtown wash consistently falls short in many areas when compared to its other locations. Many of the issues here stem from what appears to be poor management. This prompted me to initially write a not so great review with hopes of capturing the attention of a general/district manager and it worked. Upper management promptly contact led with me to assure that my concerns were heard & proper measures are being implemented to improve the midtown location & that itself persuaded me to edit my review on the pretense positive change is near. The last couple of times I've had my car washed here, I had a very positive experience with a great manager (Wyatt) who was assisting at this location with the goal of enhancing the daily operations & customer service experience. Many of the concerns I shared with Wyatt were the exact same things he noticed that had somehow gone unnoticed for years under the current manager there. When I approached him with a question about my monthly membership, he was outside with a broom & dustpan in hand which is a clear sign this particular manager is willing to go above & beyond to improve this location. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the other manager there who is difficult to have a civil conversation with. While I have not been happy with this location over the years due to it being poorly managed & short staffed, I am optimistic that positive change is in store to improve the overall experience here. Kudos to Wyatt for his professionalism & his willingness to go above & beyond. Also, thank you to Big Splash upper management for promptly contacting me regarding my concerns. It is my hope in coming months this location will be a desirable place for city dwellers to visit when we need a car wash.

Nice place! They got me in and out very quickly, but there was no line. They presoak your car then it goes through the wash. It is a touch wash and they do towel dry, so watch out if you like your paint perfect. Free vacs are available, but I didn't use them.

This is the worst Big Splash location of the few in kcmo. First, the guy that's supposed to pre wash your car only sprayed 1 side and it was only water. There was hardly any soap at all and it was unevenly distributed, getting mostly 1 side . The back of my car didn't get wet at all and is still dirty(obviously). Then it didn't totally rinse, so it left spots. If I had actually paid cash for this I'd be livid.( I have the monthly unlimited wash plan and usually go to the Waldo location on Wornall but theres construction going on over there and you can't get to it.) If my only exposure to Big Splash had been this location, I would have NEVER become a member or ever even TRIED another location period.

Nice midtown car wash with lots of options. There are membership plans available also. After going through the automatic tunnel, your car is towel dried by employees, which is nice. Vacuuming is free, but you can add the option of the car wash completing it for you.

These guys do excellent work. I have been to Waterway (a different car wash place) to have my company car cleaned and sometimes you have to babysit the guys while they clean it to get the job done right. At Big Splash they go to town and they are much cheaper. I got a wash, wax, and interior on my girlfriends garbage dump of a car for $40 and they made it look brand new. I will be taking my business here from now on.

Paid max for wash and interior +. My car was only half clean. My seats were not vacuumed, the cup holders were left dirty. I even had to ask them to wash my floor mats "I paid extra for that's. I was more than a little disappointed a 10.00 carwash by cheerleaders would have been better.

Its a great place. Ive had a montly pass for a while now and i cant rember a time were my service was not great. They have a friendly staff that is ready to help and answer all of your questions. They have even gave me awesome tips on how keep my car looking sharp all the time. And they always remind me that i can come back as many times as i want they are more than happy to help. I Love this wash my car came through and was Grimey from the weather ,salt, and roads. It was a mess and I bought the splash and dash. It did enough just for my mess. The manager Eric offered to run me back through without me even asking or complaining about it. I politely declined. Only due to the fact I was about to go right back into the snow and rain otherwise I would’ve took him up on his offer and or bought a better wash.

Very bad service had to ask for my floor mats and all windows be re-cleaned,I then asked the manager to take a look at the the worst cleaning I ever had at this place.the manager then came to again re-clean my windows with no success. The manger became upset with me, and stated I just give you your moneyback. I went to the car wash on 39th Street around 10:30A to get my car washed, the sales lady at the kiosk asked me if I want an interior cleaning and. I agreed,but I did not know it would take very long. I was in a hurry and tried to find a manager, he was cleaning another cars he was pleasant andoffered to refund my ticket since I had to wait long. The best car wash I've been to. The set up is confusing for first timers. They might want to put an arrow pointing left after the tunnel so people done go straight. I didn't know about the other area of vacuums so I ended up getting a second wash. There is only an entrance to the main vacuums. No exit.

The on-a-track style of car wash. Has plenty of vacuums, though it gets packed after a thaw. Does a good job of getting off all the grime I pick up from country roads. Towel dry included, which is nice. Subscription plans are worth it. Do recommend.

Man, I knew the free vacuums were too good to be true! With all the signs saying not to exit through the entrance, I was forced to pay for $7 car wash. I would've gladly paid if the weather didn't look like it was about to rain. There should be a vacuum pay option at the gated pay terminal to let you through; paying a couple bucks for the use is reasonable.

Visited the Westport location. Car wash broke down while I was inside it. Was told to manually drive out. After doing so they offered to towel dry my car, but nobody ever rinsed the soap off. No replacement wash for a later time offered. UPDATE: Contact made after publishing this review. Received a replacement wash.

This was the worst car wash experience I’ve ever had. The employees here are fantastic, the manager was extremely helpful however the car wash was down when I came this morning so I came back this afternoon and purchased my wash and to say the least I could’ve done a better job on my own. My car was still just as dirty as it was when I came it’s almost as if they take your money but don’t give you quality wash. I will never come back.

Worst experience and unpleasant behaviour from them. My brand new car got huge dent because of their faulty machine/equipment. I had to spend $600+ to fix that dent and they did not pay a single penny even though it’s totally their fault. I have checked my car just before the car wash and found that huge dent right after the wash. I have claimed it and they told me that they will get back to me but it never happened. NOT RECOMMENDED.

When this place first opened it was great. Now they have let it go. The hose or either not sucking, not sucking enough, or broken. You pay a certain amount a month for a wash and when you go through the wash you don't always get what you paid for. Sometimes you get the service and sometimes you don't. I'm thinking of going somewhere else.

I went to the usual side (west) to vacuum the car BEFORE getting it washed. Vacuums were not on and the guy inside said the vacuums were working on the far side (east side) so I drove around to that side and began vacuuming on that side. The someone else came out and said I couldn't use the vacuums unless I got a car wash first. This was after I had moved my car mats out of the car, so I had to put them back in and drive to another car wash, the one on State Line by Ward Parkway. They took care of me. I wonder if they'll allow THIS review to be published.

Had to walk around car asking the guy to wipe down very obvious spots missed by the wash; he would wipe dirt off complaining that wasn't his job and fault of car wash. A stock piece of my front bumper on my 2016 VW went missing during my wash. After I brought it to the attention of the manager, he told me it was too small to be caught. Even though I've been a Tsunami Pass member since February ($45/mo), that little piece which fell off because of the wash puts me out $120. Not coming back if you're going to make me spend 3 months charges to fix my car for your careless operation of machinery. I've been less than satisfied with the calibration of the machines for the past few months but now it's costing me money. Don't post a sign saying what you aren't responsible for unless you take responsibility for the things that aren't listed.

Worst car wash I have ever been to. Once you're in line, you are trapped, even if you wanted to leave you couldn't, becaise of the design of the waiting line, if there was an emergency, tou could not escape. Line was way to long and moved very slowly. There is o my one washing bay. I paid $18 for a car wash and didn't even get all of the services I paid for, the car was streaky and dirty looking the next day, even tho I paid for a 2 day stay clean guarantee. I will never go back here again, don't get fooled into thinking this is some sort of fancy deluxe carwash, it is a scam.

I took the dirtiest car in the world here for a full detailing. They went above and beyond, cleaning every nook and cranny, sliding seats, flipping seats forward. They even found an old cell phone list many years ago! All the staff were extremely polite and patient. The car looked brand new. Even though it is quite a drive for me, I will be bringing all my cars here routinely.

Their Westport location has been great. I used to go to another wash around the corner but my car and I have been treated great here. Anytime I have had a question or request that is out of the ordinary they have been quick to respond and cater to my needs. Today, I had a minor scratch that was nothing me. I found out that they do hand waxes. The GM was helpful in addressing the fix and didn't overcharge me to get my car looking great.

I had a terrific experience at Big Splash following an extended road trip. Pulling into the very modern facility, my car looked and smelled horrible. After a Big Splash and an upgraded interior service the car looked brand new. Normally, I am happy with "you get what you paid for". However, I feel that I got a major bargain at Big Splash! Came out of the car wash and there was still bug goo all over the front. They do have a two day clean car guarantee. The first guy I spoke to before getting into the car wash was nice, however there was one person, when I got, out that was laughing at me because I didn't understand what they wanted me to do. The others were polite but for that reason, I won't be going back or utilizing my 2 day clean car guarantee. I also watched to see if they'd wipe the front down and maybe clean the dirt that the car wash had missed. However, when wiping the car dry they totally ignored wiping the front bumper down. They did a great job vacuuming my interior, though, if that's what you're going for.

Staff was very nice and process convenient but right after I got my car cleaned I noticed that the hood of my 2018 car was all scratched up, including a large 2 inch long deep scratch. I check my car for scratches and dents regularly. It may have been debris that flew off the brushes but regardless, I'm very unhappy Update: I was told to go back and file a damage report. When I got there, the manager told me that it's just a formality and that there's nothing they can do about it. Meanwhile, I discovered that my whole car is scratched from the brushes and the hood will have to be repainted. $1000 worth of repairs. Will never go back there again!

Normally I don’t leave bad reviews, as it takes a lot for me to recount bad experiences. I Paid $15 for a wash and there was still dirt on my car after being run though, that I had to wipe off (yes, it was easily wiped off) once I was home. There was no under carriage wash like I paid for, no hot wax, and the brushes didn’t even touch my car during the wash. I understand that I have a smaller car (Chevy spark), but this is unacceptable and want others to go elsewhere or save their money.

Love this place! It's the best quality car wash I've ever been to in the downtown and northland area. All of the interactions I've had with the staff have been good. Your vehicle is sprayed off before entering the wash. I've never seen the equipment broken or performing less than optimally. A couple of months ago after pulling out of the wash, the manager had me go through again (free) because there were a few spots. My Jeep was pretty grubby at the time. Wow! That's better than expected customer service. Is this place cheap? No, but the price is appropriate for the service you get. It's worth the money spent.

I come here about two times a week and I love it. The vacuums are great, the wash is even better. The drying boys are fast and great at detailing. Basically tell them what you need and they do it, or at least try to. I've met Eric the manager and he's awesome too. He gets right on in with the rest and helps. I love this place

Really thankful this car wash is here! I am a monthly customer and frequently use this facility. The help is always excellent and seem to enjoy taking care of their customers. Mike Lawrence, the General Manager, is very helpful and always takes care of any (unusual) problems.

They do a great job cleaning the car and wiping it down so as to avoid water spots. It's super easy, convenient, and best of all they are all really nice. I purchased a monthly wash so I can wash my car as many times as I want during the month and not have to worry. It also give me an option to upgrade the type of wash I get each time so I can splurge occasionally and not be locked into only one type of wash.

Nicest guys on the block. We own a membership. Gotta keep those cars tip top! Make sure to tip the guys who dry your car by hand a couple dollars. They work hard all seasons through winter ice and summer heat.
