Service shop is always quick, always courteous and after a short stay in their clean and comfortable lounge watching Kelly and Ryan, Bill gave me a detailed and prioritized inspection report. There was no pressure, and I was able to schedule a follow-up appointment two days later for the maintenance work. The only thing negative, and not enough of a detractor to lose a star, is that both days I was trolled by the same sales person. He enters the area to ostensibly get a coffee or water, makes small talk, "how's it going", "what brings you in today". Then he buddy's up next to you, "what kind of car do you have?" Followed by, " have you seen the new 2018's?" Just ridiculous.

I bought a new vehicle Saturday from Dawson and I love it he was very knowledgeable about it and what all they had to offer that was within my budget I almost left without buying because the trade in value they gave me was below what I was willing to except but the Manager came out and asked if I would be ok with taking it to the other Billion Auto outlets they had around and I did not honestly think he would come back with a better number but he surprised me and came back with a number just below what I would have got if I sold it out right better than I ever thought I would get with a trade in I am very happy with my experience with them I will recommending them to anyone I know that is looking to buy a new vehicle and I would come back again if I ever need to buy another vehicle.

We had stop at two other Billion dealership and had explained what type of car we were looking for and they kept trying to get us to purchase a different vehicle outside of what we were searching for. Then at a half hour to closing time we came over to Billion Hyundai said what we were looking for the gentlemen that had grabbed a license plate and took us thru the lot. He took us right to a car we were looking for and in our price range. Took it for a test drive and loved it said we want to purchase the vehicle and by that time it was closing time. Sales writer and the gentlemen helping us had no problem staying late. We found an agreement on financing rates. They wasted no time on getting paperwork ready to sign and signing was just as quick it seemed. Billion Hyundai in my opinion was not pushy to get us to look at vehicles out of our price range and they were very friendly. Highly recommend this dealership.

After my engine blew up my car was towed here. They were all very helpful and diagnosed the problem within minutes. They helped get me a rental car and loaded my things into their shuttle. The driver even stayed at Enterprise rental to help load up my things into the rental car. They put in a new engine and when the work was completed, they put my car on a transport truck and delivered it to California. I was kept informed about my car during the 3 weeks it was gone. Billion Hyundai made a bad situation as least stressful as possible. I would highly recommend their company. Can't say enough positive about how Billion and Hyundai stood behind this recall issue. I am grateful to have my car back. Joy

Billion Hyundai took extremely good care of me and my family. I noticed I something wrong with my control arm and needed it towed. I live in Illinois and was in a bind the day before the Fourth of July. Billion noticed the control arm was a recall. The recall failed. Therefore the service technician was able to show the recall failed and I did not have to pay a dime. It goes to show there the service department went above and beyond taking care of a customer instead of hammering me with a cost. Great service.

It took about 5 minutes for them to diagnose a minor problem with a broken clamp and about 20 minutes to get me out the door with a freshly washed car, a warranty update to the computer and my anxiety gone. Service Center = 5 Stars; consistently fast, friendly. Sales = 2.5 Stars; limited selection, unmotivated salesman, and contentious manager. We were offered a great deal on our trade by a competing Hyundai dealer and thought we'd give Billion a chance to beat it since they're local. They offered $2,500 LESS for our trade. I told the manager if they can meet the competition's offer, we're sold and done shopping but he said no. No loss for us, but it seems his bad attitude got in the way of a sale.

I am a California resident and my daughter goes to college in Iowa so it's great to know that this dealership has given the ultimate service support for my daughter whom is new to the area. I have a few issues I'd like to mention: 1. I called to inquire about the warranty on the vehicle that I had purchased a few years before and the customer service representative basically treated me like an idiot for asking a valid question. 2. Then I looked in the trunk of my car and found it wasn't equipped with a spare tire (who doesn't give someone a standard safety feature like this??? Apparently if you're abandoned on the side of the road you can just hope you have a phone with you. Didn't realize this was something I had to look for when buying a car)--more of a manufacturer issue, I understand that, but still. Sales people should mention it. 3. When I bought the car I bought a warranty for the exterior of my vehicle. I was told it was for car door dings or scrapes. I was also offered interior warranty for the fabric, which I declined. I worked at the mall at the time and the door ding protection sounded great! So I signed. Now I come to find out they misrepresented the warranty, it's just if the paint loses its shine. (Who would buy that, honestly.) I was charged for both warranties and was lied to about what the first actually covers. I was told door dents and it's now not covered. Now the "deal" the guy offered today is to fix one of the dings for $100, which sounds like a pretty terrible deal when I paid so much for a worthless warranty. The original salesmen should be ashamed for lying to get an extra sale and adding something I declined. I know part of it is on me for not reading the fine print but companies should be honest. Shame on you, Billion. I'm never coming to you again, not even if it's a better deal. Your true colors show in these interactions. I won't be surprised if in a year I find another issue with how you sold me this car. Shame.

Billion Auto jumped through hoops on a Saturday afternoon when we were headed to a Hawkeye football game. Our Hyundai Sonata’s engine blew as we were about to pull into the Billion Auto lot. The employees came out and pushed our car up to the service department to get it off the street. The sales manager told us not to worry about the car and got us into a loaner car within a half hour and got us on our way to the football game. Being from Des Moines it was such a stressful time, but Billion Auto managed to relieve our stress and we were able to enjoy the rest of the day. Our Hyundai’s engine was replaced within two weeks and we couldn’t be more grateful for their friendly and helpful service.

It was easy to setup my appointment to get work done on my 2014 Sonata. They were very friendly on the phone when I called, and while they made a suggestion on an additional repair, they were not pushy. When my wife was in the office, their "goodies" were all out while she was waiting for the shuttle. My car had some other obvious repairs needed (Example: large crack in my windshield) and they did not quote that repair/suggest getting it fixed at all. They did quote some other repairs (replace AC, $330+) but clarified that it wasn't an immediate dangerous issue. They were flexible with my wife on her schedule of dropping off my car and picking it up. They were friendly when speaking with her and getting her on her way when the car was done. Our last visit there was a lot more rushed, and they were less helpful with the repairs needed/completed. Vastly improved for this visit. I'll likely continue taking our vehicles their for work to be done.

I would not recommend this company at all. I contacted them in regards to one car I was interested and set up an appointment to see it the following day. Around 2:00 pm on the day of the appointment (which the appointment was at 4 pm) I looked on the website to see the car again and it was not on there. I then emailed the sales person I was set to meet to see if this car was still available, waited an hour and no response. 3 pm roles around and I email yet again asking and finally get a response stating that it wasn’t. This is very poor customer service. 1) I had to reach out to see if it was available which means they would have let me drive 45 minutes and show up to an appointment to see ONE car and it not be there. 2) they said it is 1st come, 1st served—which I understand, however, had that been said I would have gone at 8 am right away. 3) if you have an appointment to see ONE car they should either hold it or inform you that they can’t—especially when coming out of town. 4) I contacted a manager to discuss this and they stated the sales person worked at the other store in Iowa city and would have that manager call me in a few minutes— which never happened. They say they value customer service, yet all of this leads me to believe they don’t.

The salesperson picked me up from a different location other then Billion Auto for a test drive. We then went to Billion Auto picked up a different car to test drive and I was dropped off at my original pick up point. They made things very convenient for me that day.
