This place is AWESOME! I highly recomend Uptown Car Wash & Detail Center. We have our cars done here more than once and I can not say enough good things about the quality of service and professionalism here. Our vehicles come out of here looking like they came off the show room floor. There are not enough words to say how well they cleaned; washed and waxed our cars; (BEAUTIFUL). There is no reason to go anywhere else. Give this place a try and I know you will be completely satisfied. GREAT JOB! You guys are AWESOME! Anyone that would complaint is just a complainer period. Excellent car wash. I had my car cleaned and clay bar buffed. They did a superb job. Every swirl mark including any scratches were gone. My 2013 Fiat 500 Pop left uptown carwash looking like it did the day it came off the lot!!

You may wait a little longer than most car wash places but that's only because they do such excellent work. When they say full service they mean. My car is always spotless inside and out when I leave. I'll never go anywhere else.

Scheduled a full service detail with complimentary pick-up as the service was over $35. I can't speak to the quality of the work as my car was never picked up. Called and left a message with no response. Sorely disappointed with the lack of professionalism Edit: Changed to three stars. Car was picked up 3 hours late - due to forgetfulness. Not thrilled but not disappointed with the results for $160. Being nitpicky minor dirt in truck crevessss and gas compartment, etc. In sum (1) poor communication - don't expect an unprompted apology (2) drop your own vehicle off if you are on a tight schedule.

We've been here 3 times (without an appointment) and each time staff were courteous and found time in the schedule to get our car done. We were impressed with their work - exceeding our expectations. If you are on a schedule yourself I suggest making the appointment. Thank you Uptown!!

Got the outside of my car fully detailed. The car was exceptionally well done. The clay barring /buffing process looked good. When I got the car (used) it had some minor buffing scratches on a black car, and I didn't have time to detail it myself. Overall it was money well spent.

Rented budget truck from here. The manager Pete Milev had too much drink the night before (I'm told this is a Common occurrence) and didn't show up or have the Truck/trailer ready. He had to talk his employees through the process. Appointment was made over a week in advance and he was totally surprised by this. He first tried to act like I just made the reservation, then tried to act like the reservation didn't go through, then blamed someone else. I had the truck reserved for 9am, I ended up leaving the place at 10:03am while paying the moving company to stand around. Trailer was also broken along with a leak on the truck that damaged my furniture. I brought this to his attention, he then lied about the time the contract was printed and tried to blame me. I asked him to make it right, he laughed and said he wouldn't do anything because he did a great job. Don't trust anything Pete says, compulsive liar in his own little world.

Took car in for interior top to down detail. Found by reading online reviews here. Super thorough job - shampooed headliner, seats, all carpeting. No debris left behind on console, doors, dash. Priced appropriate for the amount of work. Had car for about 4 hours. Car smells and feels clean again.

The thing that burns me up the most about my experience is that the owner delivered my vehicle & presented it to me expected me to give him praise about it. If you go to their Facebook page & look at their reviews there are plenty of people who describe similar experiences to mine(basically every 3rd review is a 1 star so i'm not sure how they still have a high rating). I purchased a used vehicle in good condition but wanted to clean it even further by getting their most expensive "Full Detail Uptown Package" which included everything you would expect. The exterior looked good but could have been better. The thing that really made me mad though was the interior and door jams. It was a JOKE. not even vacuumed. (crumbs & dirt still in all crevices. I even found an old penny in between the seats with hair and dirt still everywhere :/ ) The steering wheel & buttons hadn't even been touched, the leather seats not even wiped (although they were supposed to be cleaned & conditioned) all plastic surfaces not touched, he literally just cleaned a couple of stains in the interior. There was one obvious spot on my ceiling that he cleaned but chose to skip out on the rest of the vehicle. My vehicle was in pretty good condition to begin with so this wouldnt have been an extra challenging vehicle for him. My dad stopped by later in the day & checked it out and said if he would have been there he would have been pretty upset at the guy for trying to pass this off as a job well done. Whats even more upsetting is that when I was mentioning all these things to the owner he acted like I didnt know what I was talking about & acted like I offended him. Every time I get into my car now I have to refrain from getting upset about it because I see all that the inside was basically untouched. I did get the owner to take money off the total cost (he offered to take it back and "touch it up" but really after seeing their "work" & having my car gone from 10am to 9am the next day & STILL receiving it in this condition???? I was beyond done with the situation. Honestly that owner should be beyond ashamed of himself for this. After seeing his other reviews on other sites though, it seems that he just doesn't learn. I will tell everyone I know to stay far away from this place. Waste of my time & money.

Went here for the first time today. They picked my car up from my work. Washed, buffed, clay bar, and waxed my car. They did an excellent job, got out most of the scratches that were there when I got the car, it looks almost brand new! Also very friendly staff.Will be going here from now on. Thanks guys!

I have gone to uptown for as long as long as I can remember. I have never had a bad experience. -- today there was an hour wait. Usually no problem but today I had to have it done. So I went to Valpo car wash, was referred by a friend. -- I paid pretty much the same price for a (auto) car wash. -- my mats were soaked, the inside was hardly wiped down, the outside of the car was wet. - I will never go anywhere else again. Thank you uptown for always doing an outstanding job!

Not your typical car wash, where you pull up and an attendant greets you. Have to park, go in tell them what you want, ask where you parked. That is a hassle. Also, very expensive standard wash and vacuum, it was around 25 bucks. Have to wait a long time, was waiting for at least 20 minutes.

Not satisfied. I made an appointment for 8:30am for an interior detailing. ($159) and on their flyer it said 4-6 hours which is reasonable. About 4:30 I called and they said another hour. I showed up about 545. My car was outside, still not vacuumed or the windows weren’t even touch, no one was even by my car. After the lady walked straight past me and I had to go to her, she then said 15 more minutes. Then about 6 people came to my car and JUST THEN started wiping the windows, vacuuming, wiping the dashboard. So 10 hours later, I finally get into my car. It was definitely better than when I went, but MOST definitely not worth the price. There are spots in my car that doesn’t even look like it was touched. Nor did they even get in ANY little cracks. Maybe because they waited till the last 15 minutes to even start wiping things down. I could have cleaned it myself in about an hour. And saved my money.

They did an amazing job on my old 2006 Honda Accord. I keep it clean as far as washing and vacuuming, but they really take it to the next level of clean and shine. Plus since my car is that old it had A LOT of small scratches that came out when they buffed/waxed it. I did the "Uptown" service and I def recommend it! We will also be taking our new truck there :)

I love this place. They hand wash your car and take good care of it. I especially like their attention to detail and the level of care quality of the interior wash.
