They charged me $35 dollars for a $25 car wash. They said the truck was extra dirty when she did not even look inside. And the truck was only 3 months old. And she ran my charge card before I agreed to services. I really do not want to rate this place it should be no stars!

So I lived in the southside so some of my friends recommended me to take my truck to this spot instead of walking out all happy about my car being washed in this spot they lost my car mat meanwhile the staff looked at me like I never had one in my truck when I did had one in the first place they also broke my coin cover Procter which now I have to order one online which was a Shame I thought this place was a really good place but I came out with the worst expectation,experience ever I would just tell all my friends,family members to never take there cars there because the staff are not professional like they say.

Great family owned car wash! Staff is super friendly and they do a great job. Several options for general washes as well as full detailing. If you've never been here, it can be just a bit confusing what to do after you pull in as there's not much direction. Just hop out and head straight to the office, and they'll inform the guys which wash they're doing. Evenings and weekends get awfully busy, so if at all possible hit up the early bird Mon-Thurs 8-10a.m. for $3 off.

I just left getting a Super Wash which was $16 not including tip & I am extremely disappointed. This was my first & LAST time here. I've had bad car washes before but this was 10x worse then ever. My car was still dirty inside & out. Never will I go there again or recommend this place to anyone. I just couldn't believe how they did such a horrible job. Now I hav3 to go & spend even more money to clean it properly myself. Doesn't even deserve 1 star!

**Bad Service BUT my Car looks great** Have you ever went to a business and felt strong-armed by the proprietor to get a add-on or upsell service? Or even worse they perform additional work or service that you did not request? Oh and they ask and expect you to pay for this additional service that they decided to do without your permission? Maybe if you're like me you will feel a little grimy doing business with someone who does work on your vehicle and fails to get your permission to do it and then expect you to pay them for the service. I go to Norwood because I get a good car wash and the workers seem to do a really good job. Unfortunately today I went to the cash register to pay for my car wash the first thing when I got into the car wash so I can make a very important phone call concerning an urgent health matter of a family member. Unfortunately the attendant at the cash register walks away from me and doesn't allow me to place my order. I patiently wait another 2 minutes and then place the phone call so I can handle this urgent matter regarding my family members health. As they get to finishing up my car wash I go in to pay only to be suggested by the attendant that I get an add-on service for an additional $5. I told her I did not want to purchase the add-on service she was suggesting, only to find out she wasn't suggesting it... she basically told me that they went ahead and did the work for me without my permission. How nice of her to do that, but I did not ask her to do that. So when I point out to her that the service she suggested was listed on the board as "available upon request" and since I did not request it I was not going to pay for it, she got upset. I find this very bad service for two reasons I told her I was on the phone with a very important matter and instead of respecting that she insisted on trying to get me to pay the $5 for the add-on service that they did without my permission. I'm a business owner myself and if I decide to do something for a customer without their permission, I only do it as a complimentary Service I throw in for free along with whatever they've already paid for. The way I was treated and the service I received today does not deserve my business, and I will not go back. I would tell anybody considering going there to not go. There was no need to interrupt me while I was on the phone or try to add on additional services when I made every effort to pay for my car wash ahead of time so I didn't have any inconvenience getting my car when they were finished with the car wash. I feel bad for the workers...they do a good job, and I left them a tip...but it sucks that because the owner/attendant at the cash register is losing repeat customers for them to get more tips...SMH

Went there last week, these folks got no idea how to properly clean a car. Got the #3 20$ wash and new car smell scent. Biggest waste of money! When I left the place I had to pull over next block to air out the car because it smelled like they sprayed some toxic gas in it, definitely didn’t smell like “new car”. While I let the car air out I did a quick walk around, the front, trunk area and parts around the wheels of the car were not even clean!!! It was just as dirty as when I brought it in, I used some paper towels that I had in the car to wipe it down and they turned completely black. Totally unacceptable! I would avoid this place. Not worth it, you’ll end up having to touch up your car after because you’re paying for a half a job.

I love this place, they (as of today) charge $13 for washing your car, I must say; they do a very great great job. Very detailed. The have a small waiting room and a coffee machine (free coffee and cookies), they also sell scents, sprays and such for your car. The service is pretty fast 'cause they have enough staff, I'd say 10-15 minutes is what it takes for them to take care of your car. They accept major credit cards and cash. Since I've made this place my favorite place for carwashing, they gave a me a card and apparently once I reach the 10th wash, the next one will be free haha. They also charge $10 if you come before 10:00AM. Overall, I do recommend you guys this place for your carwash. Very neat, detailed and fast. Thanks.

Fairly quick hand wash, and I went with the basic detailing service so the car was vacuumed, and the carpets were cleaned, windows washed, etc. Pretty decent price too. It was a little confusing to figure out who it was that I had to talk to about what I wanted done with my car, and they had to run it through a second time because they didn't understand that I wanted the detailing, and not just a wash. Regardless, I was still in and out of there in about 45 minutes. I wouldn't bring my car in every time it needed to be washed, but the times that it needs that extra something I will most likely come back.

Other than having to pay cash, this place is one of the best ones I have ever visited for a car wash. Even their basic fare is detailed in all the work they put into it. The lady working at the register (owner I think) was also super kind, polite and all together helpfull. Good to find places like this!

This is a nice hand car wash place A bit pricey and it's a cash only place The manager lady was friendly They also have a punch card service where you get your 11th wash free. The employees were okay However, I did find that there were some spots on my car which still had some water and weren't dried completely. Other than that a great place to get your car washed.

I got my car washed here about a week ago and when they called me to my car and said it was all done, i saw there was visible dirt on the car and when I told the “head guy” hey you guys missed a few spots he said oh no your car has scratches, and my car being brand new. So I took the towel and and used some water out of my water bottle and the dirt spots came right out. The guy was like ohh wait I guess it’s dirt. The sad part is that it wasn’t even a busy time when I was there, so the fact that these guys were lazy to give a good wash was mind blowing. I understand had it been super busy or something ok. But there was a total of 3 cars being washed including mine. So I believe hey could of taken their time to do a great job. I been coming to this place for 6-7 years now and had a few bad washes before but this was just to much and the fact that they showed no care towards my complaints is what made me give you a 1 star rating. Regret tipping you for the lack of service that was provided. I referred a total of 5 people to you in my time of coming there but best believe I will also be telling those 5 people about the lack of service. So maybe they can pay attention and see for them selfs as well. #failedcarwash #notahappycustomer

My expirience is horrible! The guys who washed the car they don't know how to do anything else, only they knoe how to wash the car. I was two times for detailing service and first time they wash seats and floor. They put to much water and my floors and seats was wet 10 days. They don't have a mashine to dry floors, they put my car outside turn on a heat in my car and tried to dry. No brain..I can do that at home! Point is why they put to much water in the car?! Also they don't have a mashine to vacuum the extra water. I never seen this in my life. I spend 5 hours for nothing. They destroy my floor, bad smelt from floor and seats. This car wash is only for basic cleaning, for nothing else. The gyus don't have a brain! How they can do detailing without machine??? Or if they don't have a mashine they have to know how to wash floor! Horrible experience!!!

Disappointing. I went in to get my car washed with the Super Wash, specifically for the interior cleaning, but they didn’t clean my console or dashboard at all. From the moment I rolled in, there was not a great communication system between the employees and the customers. They started spraying my car before I had even exited it and told them what I wanted. And when I did tell the man doing my car, he didn’t even know that the Super wash was an option. When I got my car on the other side of the wash, I noticed all of the little things that were wrong. The mat was wet, because someone has stepped on it with a wet boot when they moved it forward. The doors and console were still dirty. The vacuuming was fine, at least. But that was the only interior aspect I didn’t mind. I’d gotten my cars exterior washed recently, so that wasn’t really a problem. They didn’t have much there to wash. But all of the interior aspects were incredibly disappointing. I saw some reviews stating that their air freshener was overwhelmingly powerful, and that was incredibly true for me, as well. I drove with my windows open all the way home. They were busy, but that’s not an excuse of ineptitude. I would not come here again.

AVOID CARWASH!! This business has gone downhill since I first started coming to this place. I took my minivan in for an early bird special and they did NOT clean the interior well. Front was cleaned because that's what you see but the middle compartment was not even touched, back seat cup-holders were as is with garbage in it, THEY DID NOT EVEN VACUUM THE BACK. I voiced my concerns while I was there and the manager lady said I need to have the car detailed if I want better service. RUDE! I didn't know it was too much to ask for my car to simply be vacuumed as promised!! I didn't notice the back until I got home and when I called she argued with me for 10 minutes and tried to give me a $3 discount for next time on a $17 carwash. Then she offered to clean the interior for free but charge me $14 to get the exterior washed again!!! FOURTEEN DOLLARS just for the exterior? I could get BETTER service elsewhere. I was trying to be a good sport and give her another chance but she just wasn't considerate. All I wanted was to get what was promised for what I paid for. Gave her many chances to resolve the issue peacefully too. Save yourself some time and money. I know they have 4 stars right now but CHECK RECENT REVIEWS and pictures on yelp too. DON'T BOTHER!

There's always a long line and a wait when I go here. That should tell you something about the quality of their work. It is a hand wash, and it's well-done. True, sometimes they miss something, like vacuuming out the debris at the bottom of my front windshield that's hidden behind the closed hood, but if you point out something they forgot, they quickly take care of it, no questions asked. Hard working staff that earns a good tip from me every time I go in.

I visit here regularly and this morning I had vomit in the car and informed the cashier about it he said we charge extra to clean the vomit which was $20 more than the regular price and by evening I noticed that the smell was still there and the vomit was not cleaned at all. When I called them to inform the same the cashier argues that I didn’t ask for odor removal and they charge $20 more to remove the odor, in my defense i say that cleaning includes washing and odor removal however he says cleaning is different from odor removal. Second when he was informed that the car has vomit he should’ve been more clear about the charges to the customers as we come here for good service and not waste our hard owned money and then you payback with the least service and unnecessary arguments. Rating this as one star as there’s nothing below this. Will never visit you again and will make sure none of my friends pay you a visit. I am pretty sure these issues will never be addressed.

If there is anything fragile or something specific that you want them to watch out for, tell them directly. My receiver for the car remote had its cover tampered with while the car was being cleaned and the cleaners lost the cover. So now I'm driving around with the motherboard hanging.

Updated from one star to two stars. After telling them about the issue I was told to come back and they will take care of it, the issue is that this should not have been an issue the first time, wasting time and gas . The date is July 26/2019 I came into the car wash and purchased option B which is the next step above basic wash. there are two big issues that happened on my visit. 1. They seem to be more worried about moving cars along then complete their job, keep in mind there were only 3 other people in the waiting room. My windshield mirror was left wiped, which would have been very simple to do, also they cleaned my floor mats but did not vacuum my foot area, they just laid the floor mat over it hoping I did not notice. Please look at the pictures , and I am sure that you will agree this is a horrible job for charging 20 dollars

It’s the end of 2018 and they don’t accept credit cards. I only had a $20 so I just got the “super” service for my landscaping work minivan. Halfway through they pulled me out of the waiting room to tell me it’s going to be an extra charge to vacuum up the little pile of dirt and debris I had in the trunk. The cashier kept calling me “friend” while scowling at me. Like i was supposed to clean my car before i took it to get cleaned. This place is terrible. Don’t waste your money. Also the parakeets in the waiting room (all 500 of them) were so loud I had to go outside.

I took my Jeep Cherokee to Norwood for a complete interior & exterior cleaning because I had not had a detail done on the car since I bought it in 2016. Let me say the service & detailing was exceptional! I dropped off the car at 8am and it was done by 4:30pm. The SUV looked literally brand new and the interior looked spotless. My bill was $220.00 and I tipped them $60.00 for a job well done. Take my advice, forget those Groupon deals and go to Norwood if you want an exceptional detail. They are well worth the price. I will definitely be going back there for regular car washes and detailing as needed.

I wish I could give Norwood Carwash 10 stars! I called them this morning and they told me to being my car over. All the other detailers I had called told me it would be a month before I could have an appointment! I am sure my van was the dirtiest they had seen in a long time! The gave it the works inside and out and it looked amazing when they were done! Diane, the owner, gave it a second look and sent the floor matts back in for a second rinse even though they look fine to me! The price is 1/2 of what others charge and the job was better than I had ever had. Do not hesitate to use this place...it is a godsend to busy people especially those with really messy children!

Why this place is a scam ? This place runs a register which is "cash only". No receipts are given . Workers try to do a job for less if you don't run it by the register ( if you are looking for a discount you can try this, but if you are owner of this place, keep an eye on your boys there.) However if you refuse , they will be doing mediocre job so that you leave with either a bitter experience or, are forced to come back looking for a discount. Since owner or the boss man is not at the shop everyday , going on a weekend can be really lucky or unlucky day for you as the boss is out and scammers are in. This place is wrong on so many levels. It's cheating, it's ridiculing hard working Americans who earn with respect. What went wrong with me ? I went to get some dirty , stubborn spots removed . I was told this would need some buffing done and they will charge some amount which is less than regular price ( regular price not written anywhere), after 10 mins , I was told this can't be done in that price and I should come later on , and avoid Tuesday as the boss will be there. And he charged me cash which he didn't take to register. You would be asking why I agreed to pay less price? He said the regular charge was for a bigger surface area, and since I had stains only on a smaller portion , I bargained for a lesser price , which I think I can justify, however , since those guys just cheated on the price and didn't even finish the job which makes me think that this is their modus operandi. When he asked me if this was my first time , I should have seen this coming. But some lessons are learn the hard way. Would I recommend this place ? If you read my experience, please don't make a mistake of going here for the first time. The way Phillip persuded me to my car to get the cash out of sight of camera was scary. Please avoid this place. And I feel really sorry for the owner, whose absence is costing him not only money, but name and reputation. Please avoid this place. It's unethical, dangerous.

The best carwash spot I've ever been too! Prices are very reasonable, they have free Starbucks Coffee while you wait and do a fantastic job cleaning the car inside and out! Staff is super friendly and always happy and smiling. I'll be recommending this place to my friends and family.

I have been driving past this place for years and finally decided to stop in. $20 ultimate wash was easily the worst car wash I've ever gotten in Chicago. The inside of the car is still dirty. The car wasn't even that dirty to begin with, just needed a light clean. I had to pull over after leaving and wipe the inside down myself. Extremely unacceptable. Super lackluster job, definitely spend your money elsewhere. Two thumbs way down. Wish I had just gone to the self car wash next door.

I was there today..the way they work,i thought they was very good but when i check it out , my car seems like it never been clean at all besides the vacuum...it was damn dust on mu dashboard..wth???

I used to only use this car wash when i lived in rogers park it was one of the best now i live in morton grove and havent found a good car wash yet so i decided to drive out of my way to visit my favorite spot .. to my surprise they have changed managers and they dont accept credit cards any longer ... its cash only ... and the service is not that good either... sad to see a once great place turned into this

As of 1/1/2018, they are cash only. This place used to be incredible, but it is more about speed than quality. If you are looking to get your car washed - then sure, pay the $20 bucks and be on your way. But if you want your car cleaned(!) with a sharp eye, you will ha e to pay more or go somewhere else.

Nice service. Quick even if line. The manager does a good job spot checking cars to make sure everything is cleaned. Small but nice waiting room. Had world cup on while I was there.

I was in need of a full detail this week, so I filled out the online form to inquire about Norwood's service, as it was stated that I needed to make an appointment 48 hours in advance. After two days, I didn't receive a response, so I called (during business hours) and received no answer. The message machine instructed me to leave my name and number, which I did. This was Friday morning, and I have yet to receive a call back from them (Sunday evening). They seem to do great work, based on other reviews, but I will be taking my business elsewhere.
