Bought the $125 detailing on a Ford Escape. Was at most a $40 job. You would think bugs and tree sap would come off for that price. There were smudges everywhere, crumbs and stuff in the cupholders, dust on the dash and the Armor-All treatment wasn't applied everywhere they said it would be (there were splotches where not applied on several surfaces). Not convinced that the seats and carpet were shampooed either.
Their hours say they're open til 5pm but they closed at 11:30am due to rain. When they called at that time to say the vehicle is done, they stated we must bring cash as the register was closed. We had planned to pay with a debit card, so now we had to stop at an ATM to get cash. They said we needed to come get the car immediately or they would leave. We live about 20 minutes away and were both working at home that day. We raced down there only to find our car locked in the garage and no one around to open it up. When they said they would wait for us, they lied. Lots of banging on the door and calling the car wash phone number and the number of the detailer who worked on the car (only because he called to say it was done, otherwise we wouldn't have had another number to dial). 20 more minutes later, the same rude cashier (who didn't say anything about cash only sales or early closing in the morning when we dropped the car off) comes rolling up. She couldn't have cared less whether we were satisfied--she acted so put out by having to come back (when she could have waited for us to arrive, as she promised).
After asking about a discount because of the incredibly poor job they did on the car and all the wasted time that day, (after they said they'd wait and then didn't), she said she could only offer a $25 discount. Asked for the owner's info and she handed us HER card. If Gracy is actually the owner, she is a terrible business owner. If she was pretending to be the owner, I think the real owner should have some strong words for her because of the image she's portraying for the entire business. This place looked sketchy when we drove up. Wish I had followed my gut feeling and bailed. My wife missed a very important conference call because of their shenanigans. I would rate Deluxe Car Wash negative 28 stars if I could. Hope this place goes under to make room for a business who cares about their customers.
