This place is terrible. Not only did they take over 2 hours, I sent it back because the truck was still very dirty (doors not wiped down and mud in the truck bed). I paid extra for shampooed seats, which they did the tops but not the sides. They vacuumed only the basic areas and under the seats there was still trash. They also sprayed some oil based product on the dash and got it on my seats which now won’t come out. Do NOT use this place. It will cost you less to have vehicles professionally detailed.

Updated: Finally was able to talk to them and had my first wash with them. So far the best job on full service wash in Boise. Would be five stars if this company was easier to contact. Calling this company and getting a response is a pain. Also would be nice if they had hours and open/closed status posted on property in an easy to view location.

Update!!! They fixed everything after talking with them. Very pleased with the result. Thx for taking care of my concerns. Just got back from a 2,000 mile road trip and have a lot of dirt, grime, and bugs that needed taked care of. Bought the $22 dollar package cause I knew my car needed cleaned and cleaned well. Told the gentleman that I really needed my car scrubed cause of the bugs. He wrote on the slip to take care of this. Car had to go threw a second time for the bugs. The ladies that worked on the car after the second time threw assured me that they would be taken care of with the bugs by wiping and scrubbing more. After being there for 45 minutes I just wanted to leave and get where I needed to be. Looked at my car when I got where I needed to be and was so Highly Disappointed!!!! Looks like the bugs were scrubbed from one side of the car and not the other split right down the middle. Bugs all over the front grill, windshield, top of windshield, on the side mirror, and the wheels looked like they were somewhat cleaned on one side and not touched at all on the other. Not worth what I spent for what I was hoping would be a great wash and clean but am just very disappointed in the quality of work.

Staff seemed to truly do their part at each stage of the car wash and the car looked clean inside and out afterwards. However, PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH MAINTENANCE REMINDERS/STICKERS ON WINDSHIELDS (interior of the car) . Both mine were wiped down so now I don’t know when my oil change nor tire rotation are due.....typically don’t track them down because I have a daily reminder right on my windshield to remind me. But not anymore!

This is the worst car wash! They take your money and don't care if the vehicle is clean or not. If you drive a truck save yourself the money. They ran my truck through the wash three times only after I had to explain to them they could not just rub around and dry all the soap all over the vehicle. Finally the third time I just had to give up and leave. When every truck coming out of the wash bay is completely covered in soap, management needs to recognize that they have a problem. But no, instead they continue to charge $20 to rub soap around and leave dirt all over.

Waiting area inside and outside with vending machine, complimentary coffee, restrooms and TV. Tipping is a great way to convey how good it feels to drive away in a clean car.

I’ve heard lots of great things from a few people, but my experience was not a good one. My two star is pending response from the manager. I will give a shout out to one of the detailers who added the sent I had requested with the 45 dollar wash. When she went to go find out if the sent was added she noticed that it had not been adequately cleaned and vacuumed and told me sorry and that was unacceptable and to pull around to the empty bay on the far end. She did a wonderful job. While she vacuumed and cleaned I went around with a micro fiber and touched up all the chrome and black they had missed after waxing it. I normally don’t even go to car washes but it’s a 2019 Chevy Z71, my first ever new car and I thought I’d pass of the reigns to the people I hear good things about and give them a shot. I have to say, at this current point and time i could just go to a regular car wash and wax it myself in the end. I will at least admit that it’s brand new, black, and it was hot. I know those few things make it hard and i knew black was going to be a hard one to keep looking nice, but I feel like people up until the end didn’t come close to a 45 dollar was and detail.

I've been going to J's since it opened, I think I get the most complete, all around service available in Boise. The staff does a nice job, if I point something out it's taken care of on the spot, my only real grip, and remember I've been going there since day one, is the inside windows are always streaked, you never notice until later or when the sun hits you head on. Staff needs to clean inside windows with only clean rags, not the ones used to wipe down the car/interior, all in all, nice job J's.

Came through for first wash for my car which had a zillion bugs on it from lots of highway miles. I understand why they could only do what they could do while in the tunnel but once out in the hand dry area the guy only tried for maybe a minute to get more bugs off. He should have asked if I wanted another run through the tunnel or good enough. When I got home and saw - disappointed. I'll likely be back but now I know I have to go look.

Terrible service. I've been coming to J's for years and the service used to be great. But recently it seems like it's no longer about the customer to these guys. I spent a little time watching the workers while waiting on my truck and I noticed the workers being told to go faster. It feels like this last year they seem to just care about the quantity of customers they push through and not the quality of work anymore. Very disappointed, this place used to be great. If you guys can read this speaking from experience, when you force your workers to speed up, that's when corners get cut and quality go down. Just saying, your employees are human not equipment. You can't just turn them up on high speeds and expect the same results like you could a robot. I get it though more customers means more money. But if it also means the quality of your service goes down, well then you'll loose customers and money. I really hope you guys figure it out. I come to you because you allow trucks with dual tires on the back.

I can’t say anything bad about the service, best wash in Boise and a great interior clean. I can’t say enough about the value for what you pay. Unless they steal your stuff, which is what happened to us. We’ve been her a few times. Today, my wife went and they stole a vape pen out of her car. Honesty goes a long way, but once you lose my trust, it’s gone. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I can’t believe someone would steal from their customers. I go into peoples homes for a living, I’ve had money, jewelry, drugs, guns and all other kinds of valuable objects that stayed right where they were. These guys can’t keeps their hands off your stuff. Update: My wife decided to go back and try them out again. She drove away and got home and later realized that her vent mounted phone holder was gone. Part of it was found in her console later but the other part was gone. Thanks guys for being the most dishonest place in the valley to get your car detailed.

It's always better to have someone else clean your car. They are not perfect but they do a great job. Sometimes they miss little things but they are always willing to fix it if it is brought to their attention. I recommend them and like the waiting area for the kids to watch while they clean the car.

Beware of giving them your credit card! I bought a month of unlimited car washed and was NOT told they were going to put me on continuing auto bill. When I found out what they had done I went to their web site and sent an email telling them to stop the auto bill as they instructed. No response. I tried to call them, no answer. Next month, same thing. What kind of outfit does business like that?

My husband got my car detailed for Christmas, and for the 120 price we paid, it was no different from a high level clean I do myself. Dust is still in the vents, dirt marks are still on my center consol, and just all around not impressed. I won't be going here again and suggest people go somewhere else for detailing.

First visit. I bought the $22 wash. Interior and exterior were clean. There were visible drops of water on the roof of the car and after a short drive there were a couple under the side mirrors. Generally happy with the service. It's a little out of my way, but I would visit again if I'm going nearby.

They do a great job better than others. They did raise there prices which is a little ridiculous but other than that they do a good job just keep an eye out on your vehicle when it's done cuz they will miss a few things and they will send you back through the wash to get it taken care of

My first experience with J's was not the best ended up having a few issues that needed repair. After talking to the manager he made it right and is fixing the problems. If I could leave no stars I would. I've been coming here for 5-6 years. I will not be coming back!. Went threw the wash 3 times! And it was still dirty. The car walk used to be great now all they care about is pushing the vehicles threw as quick as possible. My 10 year old children do 10 times better job washing my truck. I had to get out and check my truck to see if they missed spots as they were telling me im good..... ha..... do yourself a favor, go anywhere else!! I shouldn't have to check to see if they did their job properly!! I will be washing my own truck from now on or havi g my children do it because they r better than the garden city locals they hire.. what a waste of time and money...

I was really looking forward to a great wash and experience at this location. I was hopeful we could use this place moving forward for our cars. Unfortunately I was left disappointed with the $30 wash option. The interior plastics looked like they were barley touched, the vaccim job was barley noticeable, the interior scent was not applied, and the tire shine was not applied. Based on my experience I can not recommend this establishment. It’s really too bad I really wanted to like this place.

a great car wash place. they have automatic washers and dryers but they also have people and dry off your car manually with cloth . You can save money by skipping the inside vacuuming also . After an 1800 mile drive my car was full of bugs and road dirt and grime which was all cleaned off perfectly for $13

If you are going to offer a tire wash maybe you should actually wash the rims and tires. I will be getting in touch with the better business bureau.

Too bad I can't give negative stars. Worst experience I have ever had at a car wash. This establishment advertises as a "hand wash". It is not. You roll through a machine and the only difference is instead of brushes on a a pole they use a microfiber rag on a pole, which I have never seen the rag changed. I've been there a few times and have been disappointed almost every time. The last time my quarter panels were filthy and my mag wheels were not wiped at all. They just want to push vehicles through as fast as possible with no attention to detail. I have a black truck so imperfections really stand out. Last fall I compounded the whole truck to get rid of the swirl scratches in the finish. It was then polished and then waxed with Mcguiars Ultimate Wax. Subsequent applications of the wax were put on periodically to maintain the shine and protection. The soap used at J's is so caustic it practically boils the wax off. It's like an acid wash. I was horrified when I got home and saw the result under the lights in my garage. The luster was gone and I was left with spots, streaks, and a film on the entire finish, which was flawless before the wash. I went back to the car wash and spoke to the owner. He said it was oxidation and had nothing to do with what the car wash did, while at the same time telling me the soap will remove wax. I've detailed cars for over 50 years and that is not oxidation. Then he told me I would have to compound the truck again to bring back the shine and get rid of the spots. Really?...I go in for a simple wash and now I have to compound the whole truck to correct the damage they did. Additionally, each time I have gone there I notice new scratches on the roof of the truck. If you want to remove the wax from your vehicle and get a really poor wash go to J's. For me I'm back to washing my truck myself. I will never go back to J's.

This is how they cleaned my rear windshield glass (my front windshield glass was even worse and I had to clean it myself) when they were asked for a Driver's Comfort (a detailed option they offer for $45), they sprayed something as a cleaner all over my dashboard, steer, and all over my car's interior and didn't wiped it out so stain is all over my car!

Quality not like it used to be since they added their new flashy equipment. I have gone there the past 4 years but it seems like they are more interested now in pushing as many cars through as fast as they can. They don't use the air sprayer to dry out the mirrors and slap towels to dry the center of the windshield and roof so when I drove off water spays drops on clean car. I have been getting streaked windows and bugs that I have to point out. They need to get their focus back on being "the best" or I will be driving past.

I took my car to J's for a 'Complete Detail'. Although they were really busy, they still managed to get my car looking brand new before 5pm. I have a black car which tends to reveal any places that have been overlooked. They did a great job! Wheels were sharply polished, Interior looked as good as new and the body was incredible. We had one of our cars done there and as a norm we take the cars we sell to them to have them detailed. I was not happy with the results called AJ and he had the car re-done to my satisfaction and took care of another car for me as well on the house and they did a fabulous job on them. I dont know about these other people that have trouble but we have taken several cars down and only had the 1 time we were not happy and they fixed that with No hesitation at all. I recommend them to everyone!! They are the best in my book for service and satisfaction.

Paid 30$for a wash on company vehicle. They did the worst job on the interior I have ever seen.I drove across to chevron bought some armor all wipes and had to clean it myself. Exterior isn't even clean still dirt and streaks everywhere. The passenger side rim is still covered in grime doesnt even look like it got washed at all. Worst place for a wash do not go here.

This used to be the best place to get your car washed in Boise. Now they can't even be bothered to clean your rims much less actually wash the Sheepskin mitts between cars. I watched a guy use the same dirty mitt over and over again on multiple cars. There is no excuse for this kind of laziness.

Went into J's today and got the 30.00 package and paid 15.00 extra for a hand paste wax. When it was done they gave me my car back and there were still huge dirty areas on my car. Both rear quarter panels were filthy and the front fascia was filthy. I want to know how on earth this is possible when they supposedly did a hand paste wax. In addition there was still dirt on the dash and no fragrance used. Nope sorry. I will never go back and definitely will be telling the car club never to waste thier time here.

As the previous people have reviewed the service is getting worse. It used to be great!! I always get car wash gift certificates for J's at Christmas. It seems as in the past year it has gotten worse and they only care about pushing cars through quickly and hope that the customer doesn't notice. If you don't check your car and just drive off you get screwed. As a customer you shouldn't have to check to see if they did what you paid for. the last 4 out of 6 times I have gone there in the past year there is always something they skip. If I didn't have gift certificates I probably would go somewhere else. OWNER: Please fix this it is getting worse and you are losing business due to employees trying to hurry and not doing a good job. The customer feels screwed and your business seems dishonest when they do a horrible job and the customer has to point things out. Pay attention to details and it will be successful. If not it will dwindle and people wont go there anymore.

Great place to have your truck or car washed but be careful if you pay for extras. I’ve paid extra for tire shine and the last 3 out of 5 times they only applied it to the drivers side tires. Better communication between the employees would probably solve this issue.

I have been using Jays for over three years now for our business vehicles here at Brilliant services. We have never had a single issue with the wash and service. One of our employees told me Yesterday that the owner was one of the people that cleaned the inside of his work van. That in itself is why I am leaving this review it means a lot when the owner is out washing cars and is part of the team. Wonderful way to show employees the work ethic you want to be part of.

I understand these guys are busy. I went in for the first time for a wash and i asked about their additional services. They referred me to their website to make online reservations for detailing services. I could not find the services they showed me when i was there so I called to make a reservation over the phone, 3 times and left a voicemail and nothing. Not recommended.

Ive always washed and dried my own car because I could never find a good car wash I trusted. J's is By far the best hand wash car wash I've ever been to. I drive all the way from Caldwell once a week to get my car washed here. I don't trust any other wash. Always friendly and professional staff. I had only one time that I went through the wash and it didn't get rinsed all the way. The person hand drying the car actually noticed before I did and immediately took my car through again to make sure it was done correctly. Just awesome customer service. As long as they are open. Used to have a membership at one of the automated car washes and it wrecked my paint job I switched to J's and I couldn't be happier. Very friendly staff they do a very good job and their membership is competitively priced even though they provide a superior service!!! Member for 2 years!

After being a loyal customer since they opened, sadly today was my last car wash from them. I have noticed the last couple of years the quality of the carwash, especially the quality of the interior cleaning has diminished considerably. On two occasions I have let them know and the last time I called the manager directly. Today I paid $25 for my carwash and tipped $4. The back wasn't vacuumed and even a small wrapper was left on the seat telling me it wasn't even attempted. The console was left dirty as well. The exterior was mediocre, with dirt visible on several parts of the exterior. From now on I will go to Rocket wash as I can pay much less and can clean it myself. $25 is a steep price to pay for the quality I have been receiving.

I took a dually truck to Js because I couldn't find anyone else in town who detailed them. They did an excellent job, and I will definitely be back. I felt it was reasonably priced and didn't take long at all.

J's did the complete interior/ exterior premium detail on my car. The interior was immaculate, leather well cleaned and conditioned, and windows relatively streak free. The exterior 3 step waxing produced a wonderful shine, although the surface was not quite as smooth as it could have been. Overall, the did an very good job, I reccomend them.

I purchased the Wash and Wax package. The truck was still dirty after going through the washing process. I knew it was dirty when i saw the crew waxing my truck the pads were turning black. This was pretty disappointing as this does more harm than good to the paint, rubbing/scratching debris into the paint.

I just got back from a 6000 mile road trip to Maine and back with 2 dogs so my van was ready for some love. I got the highest level wash they offered with the rug shampoo and air blaster to get the hair out of the cracks. It was totally worth it. My van looks brand new.

I just left here and am not impressed for what I paid. I still have bugs on the front of my car, have amoral overspray on the inside of my windshield and I can't smell any fragrance at all! I felt rushed to just take my car and not be able to check everything before leaving. I had hopes that the place would be good enough to go to the expense once a month for a detailing but highly doubt it now.

First time here and very pleased. The traditional inside and out wash is $18. No brushes touch your car, only nice, soft hand mitts. They even take out the car mats and wash clean them and vacuum under them. This is my new go to car wash place. They even allow you to get cash back, in case you have zero cash for a tip.

I got the interior of my car detailed here. They got me in within 2 days, and they are very reasonably priced. They did an awesome job, my car looks brand new! They even got some stains out of the seats that no one else has been able to get out. I highly recommend them!

Very friendly, better than auto car wash's because those can scratch your car if the dirt isn't washed off your car before going through. These guys wash you down before you are put through the auto part of the wash. Their phone number does not work though so you can't call. The last time I was there, soap was left on my car and I pointed it out and they said that it was just "bubbles" from the cold weather. It was definitely soap... I do still like them however.

The only place I go in town, it's a touchless wash... so I don't worry about debris getting transferred from the vehicle in front of me. (I got a giant scratch at the competition,.and haven't used a tunnel wash since).
