Unfortunately Today I received a subpar detailing job. Typically I don’t complain but for $100 you would think that my vents wouldn’t be dusty and interior windshield wouldn’t have crazy smudge marks. There was two parking tickets on my dash exactly were I left it . And when I called for at least a partial refund they said no .

Highly recommended! Had my truck washed and waxed @ Sponge Brothers in Orange, CT. One of the employees, Villa, who was vacuuming my found a $50. bill in my vehicle and returned the money to me. Greatly appreciate his honesty!!! The trucked came out from their facility in immaculate condition as clean and shiny as the day I bought it. Good Service. Ernie "The Mechanic", often works in our vehicles, as we are "regulars" at his garage...(regardless where he works)...in this case, Sponge Brother's. Ernie has never giving us a reason to believe he is not honest. Ernie always takes the extra time to listen to our vehicle related concerns, and give us the best possible options for us to chose from, prior to work on our cars. He often finds a way to make sure we are content with the final outcome. We go to Sponge Brother's because Ernie works there. The day he leaves, we will continue to utilize his services wherever he goes. "So far" we trust him. We hope he remains as honest as he has been so far. I recommend, Ernie.

Martel and the service at this carwash is second to none. Been to splash and others and no matter the wash or interior service the attention to detail is great at Sponge Bros. Customer service is also exceptional. I have also had headlights restored here and the difference is night and day. For $99 and the result, it's a bargain versus buying a Do it Yourself product that costs half the price and the result is disaappointling less than optimal (which I have done with a different car).

this place is the worst place for a carwash!!! the customer service is trash. the wash services are trash. they were not even busy and it took them 20 minutes for a vacuum and wash. even after waiting 20 minutes my car was not even cleaned!!! i will not be wasting my money on terrible service again!!!

Very healthful and customer oriented. Main lobby is very clean and comfortable, Jessie at the front desk was very helpful and respectful. Jessie went over all of the pricing and everything that was going to be done to my vehicle in great detail and didn’t try to sell me things that I didn’t need. 10/10 I’d let them rub my car down again

Went for a $83 oil change end up paying over $100 They charged me extra for the filter without previous consent after I have given her my phone number. No other place on earth charges extra for oil filter. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. After I politely asked for an explanation about the increased price on my bill, then the lady at front desk begun to raise her voice to me, making everyone including myself feel uncomfortable. I would not like this to happen to me or any other customer and hope that corrective measures are taken swiftly.

Excellent car wash and detail (if you want one) and real mechanics who know how to fix a car rather than just replacongbparts until they get the right one. 9/11/18 New work on 2 cars. One was to fix air-matic ride. Work was prompt, mechanic pleasant and he explained in detail the repair. At the same time, I had taken my wife's car in for a smell of gas - the car was on a lift in 15 minutes and gas was dripping from a bad line following the contour of the gas tank. Car is there until it's fixed. Pricing is great for the quality Service and all staff goes the extra distance to make sure customers are satisfied

I would not recommend this car wash to anyone that lives in CT everything about this sole proprietor business is terrible. First off the manger John is ill-tempered to his staff, and around the customers yelling at your staff about not doing something correctly is not how you talk to someone. Or if a customer has problem you just don’t tell the staff to stop doing the car because isn’t done right. You do it right the first time that’s customer service. Everything seems rushed and that not what’s car wash should be like especially with these details. The business is unorganized and short of staff because workers are always having to switch places so basically people don’t know what they are doing, it’s either one person vacuuming or one/ two person wiping down the car extremely fast with damp rags. The jobs are always half done no matter the high price of categorized washes, they use brushes to scrub someone’s car which is not a form of detail, that’s how you clean up blood on a dried up car. Swirls everywhere, mats still dirty or either one is missing, half of the stuff in your car will go missing. The vacuuming is half done in the interior of the car it will still be dirt inside of your car they’ll try and cover it with a cloth mat. The rims are the worst things to look at when it came to looking at them, they’re still dirty or the dirt is tucked in the corner of the rim. The tire shine comes off after you leave the lot which is a waste of money. The prices are too outrageous to be given low service, they should take their time on delivering their service instead of rushing to barely please any of the customers. From my expierence I wouldn’t go back here a fourth time or subscribed to their membership. I already know the owner is going to comment on this, instead of commenting on google reviews how about you fix your business as a whole. Fix the problem with your manager ( attitude, organization skills and quality customer service) , make the staff have actual positions instead of switching spots all the time, understand that giving a free wash or telling the customer to come back is showing us that your business has bad practices. Stop convincing people to come back and spend more time at business that hasn’t changed.

The prices are reasonable and they get you in and out in good time so that you don't spend the entire day waiting. The owner is a well respected man that has a personal relationship with all his customers, he always stops to say hi and have a chat .All and all , great place all around . I also want to add that Anthony is an excellent young man who will never try to fix what isn't broke and will always take the time out to explain your cars needs in understandable terms. Very nice people. Eager to help but attention to detail is lacking. I have a large pick up truck and I never get the full service because the cost is high for me. After in exterior wash there are plenty of dirty spots and streaks left on my vehicle. They do a better job with the interior but levers buttons settings are always out of whack when I get back in my truck. I use them because they are close, nice and let me pick my package although it’s still too expensive But in my experience anywhere you go is expensive.

I came to have my car detailed and surprisingly the service was available this time after 8 attempts. I thought of this place as convenient since it’s close to home but I seemed to always get disappointed. The workers were pleasant but the cashier lady was not. They did a good job with the car but for $95.00 they could have done better. I get my car detailed at least 4-5 times a year and I’m still looking for a good place close to home. I wish “detail” service is available on weekends at least :)

Signed up for a monthly unlimited wash plan and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The service is excellent and the employees are very friendly. Great place for a car wash. Wish they would bring back the Silver - that was the best deal. John is awesome in the garage. They will help you with tire pressure, etc. Don’t go when it is busy, like the first mild sunny day after a lot of snow and ice when everyone’s cars are full of salt. It will be insane. A good local car wash and the free coffee in the sunny lounge make it very civil.

The unbelievable happened, he came in to the waiting area where I was waiting and returned some scratch off lottery tickets not once, not twice but 3 times. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Bought an unlimited monthly car wash that included interior vacuum, car mat wash and hand drying. Went there once a week. Staff always friendly. Staff do a good job prewashing and vacumming. Car comes out clean. I was impressed and signed my wife up for the monthly plan as well. Recommend.

I went to Spong Brothers for an auto issue, I spoke with Anthony, the manager over auto repair. When I explained my issue with him, he immediately said "have the car brought here and I'll look into the problem." I honestly have to say that Anthony was a blessing to me from God! A previous auto shop that I dealt with lied to me, but Anthony went over and beyond to try and fix the issue. I was OVER PLEASED with the service and time he rendered to me so quickly. One of the major things I disliked about this wash is the use of brooms to scrub the exterior which causes swirls. While the wash is good and they use a lot of soap where this place falls short is in the management department. They need to have someone direct the customer inside the wash instead of just pointing to drive in a poorly lit wash bay. The workers need to learn to speak with respect when they talk to customers. I had one of the workers yell at me to move toward another lane when exiting the wash and I couldn’t just move because it was a severely tight spot. That’s uncalled for and they should be more clear with their directions. I wouldn’t waste my money and time with this place.

Just as a personal experience there my first time going I had a $20 bill and had need to change to leave a tip I had asked one of the car wash attendance and at the time it was my self and my one year-old son I didn’t know the young man’s name at the time but his name is Carlos and he said ma’am you have a young child we get paid for what we do you don’t have to give us anything and that actually meant so much to me now this is my third month being a customer and every time I come they welcomed me as if it’s my first time there but this time they just always greet you by name The females behind the counter are always friendly it just feels like a family environment a great place to invest your money it’s a win win situation for all it’s a pleasant environment and you come out with a clean car not

I was extremely disappointed with the service today, unfortunately for me I did spend $191.38. When I came home, I discovered that the back of my car wasn't even vacuumed let alone cleaned as its supposed to be. When you come home from a "full interior detail" and you have to vacuum your car, I believe they have a serious problem, wouldn't you agree? It was my mistake not to look over my car, I guess trusting other people is not necessarily a good idea For all hard working people out there please don't make the same mistake I did and check your car before you leave!

The cashier Jess W was very rude. It took 55 minutes and $50 to “hand wash my car” AND when it came out, inside of the car was still dirty (pictures to prove it). Next time I’ll just pay $3.00 to vacumn my own car at the gas station. Very disappointed!

I am very disappointed with my experience at sponge brothers, I decided to get the detailing prestige package which Was 218.02 and my oil change which totaled 120.89. My first time going there and already they already lost a customer. I was really excited, I planned this day all week that I was going to get my wife’s car detailed and now After picking up my car and they did not even touch my truck which I cleaned out for them to vacuum also my car mats had dirt on them. That’s not the very disappointing part it’s that where I keep my coins and glove department and center console I cleaned out everything thinking they would clean it a but no nothing at all still a mess. Cup holders still dirt and coffee my wife spilled inside there. Let’s just say I will not be going there ever ever again. The level of cleaning service I received from the sponge brothers was something I could have done which really really is frustrating cause 218.02 is a lot of money.

Tried this place out and purchased a $140 complete detail. They cleaned the mats and the seats really well, but the ceiling, dash, and center were still very dirty. Dirt/hair and stains etc. I don’t feel like the quality here is worth the money. My car was a mess but I know plenty other places with a higher standard that would have taken care of it for the same amount.

Took my truck for have a 4” rough country lift install and a bull bar with led light After installation was put on I noticed my truck has metal shaving on side of truck on both sides I check underneath the truck and notice the had to cut a piece of the cross member to drop down my drive shaft they didn’t coated with anything to avoid the expose metal getting rusty Also after negotiations with the price for install which the first day I went is was 700.00 for the lift came back for the install and he want it 1200.00 for the installation including the bull bar So I’m assuming he want it 500 to install the bull bar so I say no thank you then I mentioned to him you say 700 dollar when we first talk and he say yes ok 1000.00 for both install in my mind I think is still to high of a price for installation of the bull bar so I told him 900.00 and we good he agreed So far so good now comes the real funny part I told him don’t do the alignment until I see the truck just in case I want to change wheels and tires I was happy with the looks so I didn’t change anything came back next day to have wheel alignment that by law you supposed to do cause you are not supposed to give out a vehicle to a paying customer in not safe driving conditions to find out I had to pay extra for the alignment 105.00 and truck it’s shifting to the left a little bit But you can stay with your business cause I will never recommend or visit your establishment ever again And that rain check for a car wash you offer you can give it to some one else Also to find out one shock absorber was missing the bolt on the next day it was install No you didn’t put the truck on a lift to have it repair I came 4 days later with the problem and no my truck haven’t reach the 500 miles on it cause it’s just a 10mile commute to work everyday I feel sorry that you have to lie in this post about Having my truck on a lift to do repair after a week or so Feel really sorry for you guys And I will keep posting if you keep lying

I went to get my vehicle washed at Sponge Brothers the other day. When I got home, I realized they did not clean the inside of the windows. I called the next day and instead of simply cleaning the windows, they offered to re-wash the vehicle. That was very nice of them to do.

Went here today for a car wash. Paid 23 dollars to get INSIDE and outside done. Had to come home and clean the inside myself. Windows weren't touched and dashboard was still dusty. But hey someone found time to go through the change I had in my door. Thanks guys! I wish I would've taken that change and went down the street to the self serve cleaner. Maybe next time...

I came in to Sponge Brother’s because the heater in my toyota had not been working, and it was not expelling hot air. I was greeted right away, and they took the time to figure out what was wrong before overcharging me for unnecessary parts and repairs. It turned out that it was just a loose knob, and they fixed it at no cost at all. While I was there, I also got an oil change and a car wash. I am very pleased with my experience.

My car was REALLY dirty! Interior had not been vacuumed or cleaned in a few years. I have no idea what kind of industrial strength vacuums they use there, but they actually got my car clean!!! With the crevices getting clean and dashboard wiped, my car looked amazing. I was blown away with how great it looked. I believe the service I purchased was called Super Interior for $39.99. Worth. Every. Penny.

That place is like a trip to another universe the attitudes there are horrible. where should i start. the receptionist there thinks that it is OK in her place of employment to talk about her political views and her personal life around customers with her coworkers. When she did stop flapping her gums about things that we as customers do not care about and you asked her a question, she didn't want to be bothered with actually helping the customers at all. Now I want to tell you about the so called manager John or Johnny. he was the worst, he uses his job to make advance on women and tries to get phone numbers from the female customers. I guess he thinks that women do not know much about cars so lets hit on them. I also witnessed him be very aggressive and intolerable with a gentleman from the LGBT community, like really this is 2017 where do you get off snubbing your nose at someone with a different sexual orientation than yours. If he is the type of manager that this place has I will tell my friends and co-workers to stay away from there, they should be sued for the way he reacted toward that gentleman. Oh and my car wasn't even detailed that well to boot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CANT STAND THAT PLACE WILL NEVER GO BACK. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

They even drove me back to my office to work because my car is needed few hours to done ( my office is on Boston post road too). 3 They fixed only issues and if parts are still good they will tell you and never overcharge you. #1 PLACE

We get our cars washed and/or detailed at Sponge Brothers. They also have a auto repairs, oil change and other automotive services. Kris at the customer service is really lively and helpful. The car wash service has been more than satisfactory. You also can come back with 3 days for a touch up wash. If not satisfied! Don’t quote me on 3 days - as I am speaking from memory and I have not used the 3 days ever!

I brought my car in to Sponge Brothers for a brake job and oil change and Ernie was awesome! Not only did he do a great job but he also took time out to explain my rotors to me why they needed be replaced and showed me what to look for. I also had my car washed and detailed. It came out looking new. Geisha was extremely friendly and suggested a great scent for my car air freshener. Great service! Reasonable prices! Awesome staff! Will be back!
