Summary: Just ok. Could be better
First the good:
-Good spray pressure, quality soap of sufficient quantity, good spray pressure while on spot free rinse which is nice, as most places drop the spray pressure significantly when on spot free rinse.
-Everything seems to be functioning properly.
-Not very busy
-convenient location
Now the bad, and really the reason I won't be returning:
Cold, cold water wash. Other car washes that use warm (or even better, hot) water get the gunk off way better. I had to go over the car twice as much as other washes, and it still didn't get off the grime as well, even with spending twice as much.
Other cons:
-It takes $1.50 to start the wash
-I felt the money I spent didn't buy me as much wash time as other places.
-The place is pretty dirty. Looks like the place hasn't been cleaned in a while, with lots of mud and trash in the stalls and elsewhere. I don't really want to get back in a clean car with grimy/ muddy shoes. Other places in town are cleaner.
Fix the issues above, and I'll be back.
Edit to reply to owner: Thank you for your response. I know you're trying to defend your place from false reviews. I don't know what the place is like on average, day in and day out since it was my first time there, so I reported what I found TODAY when I visited. Today I found mud , grime, and a little trash in every stall, and picked the cleanest.
The areas where the vacuums are at are also very grungy with oil and such. Those areas have clearly not been washed in ages, and that is why I chose not to vacuum my car there since I would have had to step in oil/ dirt to use the vacuums. I should have taken pictures.
On the temperature: I see you disagree with me on that too. Here's my take. 1)Even if it was 100 degrees, it is not warm enough. 2) that is not 100 degrees. Maybe your heater wasnt working. When you put your hand on the wand while spraying, and it feels cold to the touch, that is not 100 degrees. It is certainly colder than other washes and quite obviously doesn't clean as well as the ones I frequent.
All that said, i have no axe to grind. It is easier for me to travel across the street or stick with the one near my house to use a wash with warmer water than to try to convince you of what I found. But thanks for your concern!
