I wrote a review for this place when they were formally a Conoco and I felt obligated to write this since they changed to a Sinclair and my old review went with it. There are few too many places I have been to where I have had the high level of satisfaction as I do with this place. I continue to only take my car here for repairs even after moving to Boulder County. I tried this place on a recommendation from a friend years ago and to this day mention to him how right on he was. Easily the best mechanic I have ever used.

The owner is a careless and irresponsible community member. I had to call the department of pipeline safety to inspect their fuel pumps after a pump spilled approximately $30 right onto the ground and after I let the manager know but he belittled me as did the owner who was unprofessional and irresponsible when I spoke with him about my safety concerns. Not good. Do they only treat women this way?

Upon recommendation this was the first mechanic I brought my Toyota to after purchasing it on Craigslist and not really knowing if there was anything going on with it. They actually took the time to care about informing me and educating me on what was happening with my vehicle and they had honest recommendations. I've always walked away feeling better and with a better understanding of the state of my vehicle. Which is outstanding and so much more than I could hope for for the prices they've always managed to charge me. I couldn't be happier and for now this is the only place I need to bring my Toyota truck. Thank you guys, I appreciate your candor and the amazing work you do so much!

I came here on recommendation from another mechanic that was too busy to get me in, and I know why he sent me. By far the best experience at a shop I've ever had. They were able to get me in right away to look at why my van was mysteriously making noises. Gary got it in as soon as he could and found the problem. I left it with them thinking that since they were pretty busy that I'd have to wait a few days to get it fixed. To my surprise they gave me a call the next day, with an update and they let me know that they were going to have it done the same day. So fast! That's not the only thing that will keep me coming back though. All of the people I talked to where informative, honest and above all, very friendly. Thank you guys!

If you're looking for skilled, helpful, and honest mechanics, this is the place! My car's problem was far less serious than I'd initially thought, so I really appreciated that Bo was able to quickly diagnose and fix the actual issue. Highly recommend.

Took my car here the other day because my check engine light had been on for a while. They asked me a few questions about how my car felt while driving. They gave me some suggestions on things I could take care of on own. They told me to come back if the issue continued. I was happy that they didn't look at my car unnecessarily and charge me for it. Hopefully their suggestions work out and I won't have to pay for costly maintenance.

I just recently moved back to Denver from the SF Bay Area. Dreading the search for a new local mechanic, I heard raving reviews about Jim and his mechanics at University Hills Conoco. I thought my Bay Area mechanic was outstanding. I was with him for 10 years. U-Hills Conoco exceeded outstanding! I went in wringing my hands about the cost to fix my older model Jeep Cherokee's overheating problem, faulty air conditioner and scary-loose steering wheel. Jim went through the issues with me and I left on cloud 9. I wish I could give more than 5 stars to this shop's integrity and quality work at reasonable rates. I highly recommend University Hills Conoco to be your go-to family mechanic ... for all makes and models!

Just wondering But never the less accidents happen with gas pumps all of the country and not everything is perfect and gas is spilt daily. Don't you think a one star review and your haste was a little too much considering you don't know the owner or the men that operate this particular gas station. because if you did know the owner or the hard working men here you would show some respect , and why not through in the gender card while your at it Priceless. just an opinion

One of the few places i trust my vehicles to. Only mechanic i recommend to friends and family. Jim is very knowledgeable and wont try and fix thing that do not need it like many other shops will. They noticed something that a tire shop did and very glad they did as it is possibly saving me the huge headache of a blowout.
