Somewhere between 1 to 2 stars. Positive quick service and good location. Negatives poor job cleaning interiors and mediocre exterior cleans (mostly automated). I havee three times and interior cleanings are worse each time. When I complained the first time they gave me another wash which didn't improve the original clean. I went a third time today and the cleaning job was even worse. Just disappointed.

Excellent job. We have used the Puddle's Detail Shop 5 times. Last year we decided to give a smaller shop a shot; it was definitely inferior. The Puddle does a beautiful & thorough job. They caused a tiny bit of damage once; they pointed it out to me and arranged to have it fixed at their expense immediately. Great reputation.

I would not recommend dealing with this car wash. They have done a decent job with washing my car up until recently when my power window was accidentally ruined going through the car wash. Instead of accepting responsibility and reimbursing me they gave me the run around, I have wasted at least 10 hours dealing with this mess: getting estimates (to reduce what I thought would be their liability), attempting a self fix, and driving back and forth to the car wash to haggle for the money I feel like I am entitled to having provided proof of payment for the damages. Marcos the manager was not reasonable at all, framing it like they were doing me the favor of paying for something they were not liable for: which again is not even remotely the case, as the mechanic I go through would be happy to support. All said and done, I am out over 300 dollars despite them giving me partial reimbursement to avoid litigation. I TOTALLY understand that accidents happen but the way in which a business takes to dealing with such accidents on their part is very telling of overall character. Thank you to the owner Steve for somewhat owning up to the mishap and saving us both the hassle of small claims court. I will not be returning here.

For what is done, it is a bit expensive. My interior was not wiped nor protectant added. This cost extra, where it is included elsewhere. I was not satisfied with the cleaning for the amount I paid. With the facility in Longmont getting sold, where else is there to go.Given other options, I would not return.

Puddle is a high volume car wash joint that does a decent but not exceptional job. My truck is always full of construction dirt and dog hair which their standard vacuuming won't remove. The times I've complained about the interior vacuuming being subpar, the manager has been very happy to have my truck done over again. The detail shop, however, has done a great job on the interior. There's something fun and satisfying about going to Puddle.

My last 4 experiences there were absolute garbage, to put it nicely. The jobs were half done most of the times and I had to request before each service that they throughly vacuum and get under the mats. After finally having to speak to a manager who was just about as rude as it gets, I decided to speak with the "owner." First someone called back pretending to be in charge and only clarified their position after I asked for their name and title. When an "owner" finally called me back, he was just about as rude as his manager. Which makes sense. I told him my experience and instead of apologizing and asking for my photos (that I had taken to show that my side of the car wasn't vacuumed AT ALL, and they left everything dusty) he told me I was expecting too much out of the car wash and they had simply "looked over the vacuuming"......... that didn't seem to add up to me when I paid specifically for (not to mention that was the first step they do before sending your car through the wash) vacuuming services. Needless to say the owner and managers are very poorly trained and should not be in charge of cumminicating with customers. Which happens to be apart of both job requirements so that should tell you something. I have spoken to others in town who have had poor experiences and refuse to go back. I will now do the same and be sure to tell as many people as possible about my awful experiences and the terrible customer service provided by the managers and owner. I wouldn't go back if it were free. Granted I wouldn't go back if they paid me to wash my car.

I purchased the most expensive wash and services, to include both the outside and the inside. Somebody needs to teach these guys how to clean windows. All my windows, especially the windshield were horribly streaked. There were dirt streaks on the tailgate. The inside was probably over-cleaned as everything was slippery and reflected badly off the windows. There was a handprint in the middle of the rear seat. Unfortunately for me, I had this done the night before we left for vacation and didn't notice these things until the following morning when loading the car and driving into the sun. That happened to be the 4th of July and they were closed. I'll have to seriously think about if I'll be going back there.

These guys have been doing this forever and I haven't yet had a bad experience. It's about $12 for a vac wash and wipe down. I think the gas station drive through is at least 8, so for a couple bucks you get tons more car cleaning value. Highly recommend.

If you have any kind of small chip in your windshield regardless of how tiny it is there’s a good chance the pressure from the car wash on your windshield will make it crack. It’s happened to me twice here now.

This my first time going to puddle and my first time going to a car wash where you get out of the car. All and all they did a good job but it could have been better. For the price I paid it's a good service. I bought the hurricane option but there was still a few things not cleaned as well as I thought it would be. Also someone need to talk to the guys who clean the car after the wash, I was alone but if I had my kids with me I would have said something. I must have heard the F word 15 to 20 times while I was waiting outside for my car..

Poor service. We bought the basic interior and exterior wash service. The staff used towels to clean the interior for only two or three minutes. When we got into the car, many places still have dust and were not cleaned at all.

This is my favorite place in Boulder to get my car washed. They do a great job, have good options on various washes, and take care of your car. When there was a slight problem with my car, the manager very promptly took care of it and made it super easy.

I asked to have the residue from a small window decal removed and was instructed to make an appointment with their detail shop. This is a standard service provided by every shop of this style, even if it is sometimes a small up charge. When the manager agreed that it was something they could do, he used a razor blade and ruined my windshield.

Skip paying for the vacuum service. Seriously. Not worth even a couple extra dolloars for it. I asked for a good interior cleaning and they suggested the $13 “works”. I couldn’t even tell it was vacuumed at all - and the interior wipe down was pretty bad also. After driving away and seeing how poorly the interior was cleaned I called and asked for something a little better. That was all they had unless you went to their “detail service” for over $100 more. I just wanted a good interior cleaning AND would have paid more for it if only they had offered it. The exterior wash was just OK also. It is nice if you want a quick wash only. Please Puddles - offer a better interor cleaning somewhere between almost nothing (currently offered) and the full detail service. We will pay for it!

This place is terrible. I have been there twice, paid the most expensive service and both time were awful job. Bad vacuuming, didn’t touched the back of the car. They wiped half of the car leaving visible mud stains. Didn’t touch the mats and to end they STOLE my car charger. Do not go to this place. Waste of money.

It's okay. The check-in staff didn't communicate well and it caused some confusion when I tried to drive into the wash area. Turns out they valet the car for you... a decent wash but they missed a huge spot under my door.

This place broke my windshield, shame on me for going back, they did it again! I called and spoke with a manager and he threatened me and hung up. How pathetic. They only hire people that are on jail work release, and if one gets out (rarely) they make him manager so he can threaten lifelong citizens of the Boulder community. Can't wait to watch this place go out of business!

They "lost" my rocket league magnet and can't find out if someone stole it until next week when they clean the bays. I would have loved a warning to remove my magnet, or a refund now that I have to purchase another. Not particularly keen on coming back unless it's to retrieve my property.

However, i think he was a manager for the outside crew, as i was getting in my car, he told me he was going to run it thru again and asked me if that was ok. It came out perfect!!! Needed a quick wash for my Corvette and brought it Puddle Car Wash. Not only did they do a fantastic job for the price, but they measured twice to make sure my car wasn't too low to cause any damage. There was just enough clearance, but if not, they were going to recommend me to a competitors car wash instead of just taking my money. Very happy with their service.

It came out dirty again, when I pointed this out the manager got short with me and basically told me to beat it. If you actually are detail oriented when it comes to your cars exterior don't bother coming here. The interior cleaning is sub par as well.

Very poor customer service- this is an unconventional car wash setup, but no one explains their services or options. To let me know my car was done, the crew member waved a towel and said "Hey lady". To top it off, the job was poorly done, with me going home to fix their errors. I recommend going elsewhere.

Note: This is about the basic washes, not the detailing options. Rip-off! I've been there a few times over the last couple years and the service is always utterly half-assed, no matter how expensive the package you buy or how low the volume of cars coming and going. And I'm not being nit-picky, there's still dirt in the middle of the floor (which is plastic, I have a Honda Element) and dust smeared across the dash instead of wiped clean, etc. I don't have kids or do a lot of outdoor activities, so it's not like my car is a total wreck. Some guys are even literally looking around while wiping things at anywhere but what they're touching. I don't usually write bad reviews but this place is really awful and I regret giving them so many chances in the hopes they just had a few bad eggs. But clearly the management has no oversight for standards. Unfortunate.

This place sucks. They always do a terrible job hand drying the car and as soon as it dries you just have giant watermarks all over the side of your car. People just expect tips as a standard these days I guess.... can’t think of once these guys deserved it. Also, a line for people NOT having their cars vacuumed would be nice so we don’t have to wait for 15 minutes to get through the line.

Horrible. Don't waste your time or money. I asked for new car scent. They put in a nasty baby powder scent. They made a half attempt at wiping down the inside of my car. Didn't bother pinning my mats back down; just tossed them crookedly into place. Didn't vacuum crumbs from my seat. Left bottle tops on the floor. When I complained, they chuckled at me. Seriously, folks. Go somewhere else, or wash it yourself. These people have zero pride or workmanship.

I took my car here yesterday and am incredibly disappointed with the service I received. I paid for the full interior/exterior detail. After they were finished I looked over my car and neither the exterior or interior were fully cleaned. There are still bug spots on the hood of the car and several other spots on the car that were neglected to be cleaned. I am extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the seats. I'm not even sure they tried to clean them. They are visibly dirty. Taking my car here was definitely not worth it. I'm going to have to take it somewhere else to get it fully cleaned.

Beware this only includes a "light dusting" of the dash. $36.99 for a real clean and that does not include floor mats. Most places charge $28-32 for a full clean that included the floor mats. Don't waste your time here.

Really not worth the price. If you go here on a busy day, then you'll see they are going for volume and not quality. The cars were exiting the wash bay with tons of soap suds and not being dried off properly so lots of soap/water spots. Windows and mirrors are hazy from being wiped down with a dirty rag and interior has tons of terry cloth fibers everywhere.

Interior wiping of windows isn't done carefully on the back window and I now have scratches on my tint where the cleaner carelessly tried wiping the very back of the window and I can only assume they were wearing a ring.. how else does the tint get scratched at the bottom in a hard to reach area? Long time customer. I like the service and they usually do a good job. On occasion they miss a few spots when they hand dry the exterior, which results in water spots when it dries...thus defeating the purpose of getting the vehicle cleaned in the first place. But, all that said I still continue to go there. They need some competition. Their quality of service is decreasing.

Holy smokes. Horrible horrible experience. I've gone to the Puddle for many years and aside from poor vacuuming, the washes were decent and people were kind. Not today. They were busy, and I got a horrible car wash --- despite paying $25 for it. I have pictures detailing streaks, dirt left all over, and the worst part: distinct scratches on the hood of my car. I took it to a manager, who blew me off essentially, saying that 'we don't have anything that could have scratched your car', that their washer was all power, no brushes. He also said: 'We've never scratched your car before. Why would we start now?' I told him it was obviously an ACCIDENT and no one would intentionally scratch it. He refused to even consider that someone accidentally used a rag with gravel/a stick stuck underneath it in a rush, or ring scratched the paint. He belittled me and was laughing about it. It's really bad. I'm really angry. A business shows it's colors when something goes wrong, and they really went wrong with me today. Stay far away.

Consistently OK car washes. The prices are never great, and the difference between wash levels is not exactly clear. The staff never seems very engaged (not that I can blame them), but you'll get a consistent car wash every time you come. Details don't seem to be their end-game though, as often I'll see many missed places with the vacuuming, and the spray scent always leaves residue all over my doors and dashboard. I used to buy the higher level washes, but have found that keeping it with the basic interior and exterior is often the best bet. Also, if you have a manual car as I do, I just hope that you don't value your clutch.

Attention to detail has really faltered at the Puddle. The 26 dollar wash will get you the same lackluster wipe down as the 13 dollar wash, the only difference being you get scent. Boulder needs some competition. You can DIY for 7 dollars across the street.

Amazing service. You drive up, choose the package you want, and wait for about 5-10 mins while they clean up your car. I personally went with the $17.99 Dew Drop and do not regret it one bit. I drove up with dirt about a month old stuck to my car from a really bad snow storm on the highway, and now it’s completely clean!

Great car wash! Good work. You even get discounts to future service. There’s a big staff, they work relatively quick so you can get your car if it’s just an exterior wash in 10min. In the reviews many people seem to complain and maybe there are other places that might take their time to clean super great but I say that to wash my car would have taken me much longer time and I wouldn’t do as good as a job as they do, so... good enough is perfect for me. So it all depends on how much importance you put on your car. I’m very picky but learned to simply just appreciate that such a service exist that can free up my attention to do what I’d prefer to spend my time on.

I came here after work at 5:20-right before they closed. They washed my car, and wiped it down, and then they drove away. I asked where they moved my car because I thought they were done, but I was told it was still dirty and so they were re-washing it! Luis took very good care of my car and I was thrilled by his customer service. He and the rest of the team did a wonderful job and that's why I keep coming back!

Paid $260 for a full detail on a small SUV. At pick up, noticed that the wheel wells were still black with grime. Inside, things looked cleaner but there was an obvious sprinkling of white dust and debris on the black interior from the towels that they used. Asked for everything to get a good wipe down again to make it clean. The man was not happy about this. He said it was hard to get in the wheel wells, and that's why it was still dirty. He really didn't seem to care that we were not satisfied with the work. He reluctantly agreed to wipe things down again, but basically gave back the car in almost the exact same state as the first time. My rating is one star for the poor customer service coupled with the less than perfectly clean yet expensive "detail."

12 dollars for a wash, vacuum, and they wipe out the car at the end. Can't beat it. I go 5 times a month and everytime they finish in about 15 minutes. Nice waiting area. Plus they do windows as far as I'm aware, and if you dont have gas they do have pumps as well. Worth a stop if your looking to get your car clean.

It's a great location with easy in/out access. That is nice because I'm always in a hurry to do tasks like wash the car. The staff is nice and gets to know you if you come often. Save your receipts because they are coupons if you return within a couple of weeks. Also, they have gas! Killing two birds with one stone. The only reason they get 4 stars is because (as with all car washes I've found) you need to keep an eye on the final product. Walk the perimeter of the car and don't be afraid to ask them to polish up anything you find that needs a retouch.

I've been getting the "water works", not really expecting a whole lot based on the reviews and I was right. I might as well have my 3 year old vacuum my car. Last time I went was on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty slow. I thought they would do a better job not rushed, but nope. There's literally a pile of crumbs and debris pretty visible (not like way underneath) on the floor of the back seat. I wish I noticed right away because I would have gone back immediately. Terrible. The level of laziness is just shocking. The exterior was OK. Not great. In NYC where I'm from, for 7$ you end up with a pristine car. At Puddle, you pay $12 for crap.

Pricing is decent given the location but service is well subpar compared to other locations. I was also told I could stay in my vehicle if I were to only choose exterior which turned out to immediately not be the case. All the actual workers were extremely nice in explaining that their office people lied; I know it's not their fault either and they did a decent job on the wash.

In fairness, I took in a filthy dirty car... Inside and out. They made an amazing transition... Vacuuming was a little quick at the front... Wiping down the inside missed a few spots here and there... Very obvious. I paid extra to have the rubber mats clean... Great job! All in all a good job... Easy for me to complete with a few touch ups. Would recommend and go again. I did the approximate $24 wash plus mats.

Very fast and they clean your car up thoroughly. Only downside is that it is expensive.

They're always very kind and professional here. They work quickly and it's very affordable. They always provide a coupon for next time. There is a lobby where you can wait and shop for candy and car accessories. If they have annoying infomercials on the television, just request to have it changed and they'll do that. Usually there's cable news playing, which I appreciate.

We had our two sleeping kids in the car and the attendants wouldn't allow us to enter the wash. Obviously not family friendly and would highly advise not going to this place!!! I was going to be in the passenger seat and they still wouldn't allow us to go in. Something fishy is going on when they won't allow any occupants to go through the wash....definitely don't trust these kind of people!

The only thing consistent about Puddles is that every wash is the worst wash you'll ever get. Expect to pay for lack of detail, asking to have them re-wash you car, and again clean your windows. At least when you pay $20+ for a wash you'll know you are throwing your money away. Puddles is guaranteed to disappoint better than the Colorado Lottery!

Dropped off a 17 year old 4Runner and did the works detail. Inside and outside. The car looks brand new and l was in shock. The price was fairly high 240.00 but after seeing it and being allowed to pick it up on a day that had the detail shop closed, was able to pay for my car and drive off. I still tipped $10.00. So worth it.

Pathetic I am done with the Puddle. I went there this morning and explained to the host pulling up that my last 2 experiences were awful. These guys hurry through the process and clearly miss a lot on my car each time. So I went through this morning tip the guys $5 went home. I got out only to discover my car is filthy with swirl marks from them drying my car and to boot I paid an extra $1 per floor matt and they were filthy like they just rinsed it and called it good. I went back to complain to the host and he was great to deal with and instantly could not believe the work his guys did. He got on it and had my cat ran through again, I get home and low and behold my car is still filthy. It is sad they are the only full service in town because they sure put out lousy work. I called in to speak to a manger and a guy named Marcos answers and offered me nothing to retain my business. Everyone must know STEVE MILLER is the owner and he needs to know his crew puts out horrible work. Slow it down take off your sunglasses on a cloudy day and pay attention to detail guys. Well STEVE MILLER if this is how you put out work I assure you will never earn my business ever again! POOR customer service period!

Puddles is awesome! They are so thorough, and extremely friendly and helpful! They are super dog friendly and have a bowl of treats at the desk!

Price was worth it. Had my car washed here and I could say that it was great. Made my car shiny and looked brand new. I was really pleased.
