This place is a fraud i pay almost 300 dlls to "fix" my car i pick up my car the 27 and by today the 31 i notice the problem that supposly i pay to fix is still there they did absolutely nothing the problem was never fix .When my husband call they come up with excuse saying it was probably. Something else . We pay for a diagnostic for the car so they can find the problem and fix it . They dont take any responsibility for their actions they juat steal that money from us . Pretty much they just confirm that we pay all that money for nothing since now they are saying is something else. Save your money cuz this is not a serious place to fix your car.

Overall a very nice job. I was expecting to also have my trunk vacuumed out, since I removed everything for them...but that didn't happen. Not sure if that was covered in the service I expected. I'll try to make sure I mention this next time, It might be a good idea if other customers ask as well if that service is included, I had my portable hand-vacuum handy, that I just took care of that part myself when I got home.

So far so good. I tend to being my truck here in between my detailing. Unlike many other car washes they make sure all the water is out of the mirror which is pretty important to me. And the fact that they donate to Promise 2 Kids will keep me coming back. 4.5 stars because the prices are a bit high.

I came to Prestige based on a friend’s recommendation and now I’m recommending them to you. I’ve brought both of my cars in for washes, one being a regular old Forester and the other a soft-top convertible. My husband was fairly paranoid about the convertible going through a mechanical car wash but the first time I came in the manager (owner maybe?) spoke with me personally and assured that today’s car washes are not like those of 5 or 10 years ago. I trusted him and the car came out sparkling, beautiful, and completely intact. The Forester has come for an oil change too, which includes a thorough car wash! Overall, I can’t say enough nice things about Prestige and the kind, dedicated employees.

Prestige is the ONLY place I've had my car. They are professional and competively priced. I've had a few wax details done there and usually leave spotless and slick. Recently had an issue with one and brought it to their attention afterwards - they assured me they would fix it the next visit and gave me a comp card for it. After the next visit it was better, but not as good as before, I was a bit disappointed. Luckily George got a hold of me directly and invited me back so he could take care of everything personally. My car is back to its beautiful self! Lot of good service, some slight inconvenience, but key point is they really care about customer satisfaction.

There’s nothing prestigious about this place. I pulled up, asked for an interior detail. The guy, quite rude and abrupt, told me since the car was so dirty, I would need to pay $150 for this and it would take an hour and a half. I told them fine, but no dressing, and no fragrance. When I got the car back the interior from top to bottom was covered in dressing. They spent about a half hour on it, total. The dressing was all over the leather too. Sticky, nasty greasy nonsense everywhere. Disgusting. Total Amateurs. I couldn’t touch a surface without it coming off on my hand. I asked them to take care of it, and they tried but it’s still everywhere. You don’t put dressing on leather. It’s impossible to get out. Don’t trust your car to these people. They offered me a free wash, I told them no. This did not solve the problem. I have an appointment with another detailer to get all this goo out of my interior.

I usually get the oil change and car wash, but I have also had someone throw up in my car, and their detailing service is above average and a very reasonable price! Been going her for 8 years now and will be until I caj no longer drive!

UPDATE: I brought it back to the shop later that same day and George, the manager, really went above and beyond to rectify the situation. He put it back through the process, upgraded my package for free and gave me some great tips for detailing the car later. I'm sure I won't use anyone else to clean and service my vehicle. Make no mistake, Prestige Car Wash is the best in the biz. Please disregard the negative reviews below. If you have an issue, speak to the clerk in the office and ask for George. He's a very understanding professional and will bend over backwards to address any and all of your grievances. Very impressed! --- They didn't clean the dash. I watched the whole process and paid for "tire magic," the tires weren't touched. As far as I can tell, the express wash isn't any different that the "Hot Works" which is 12 dollars more. Will definitely not be going back.

My service company has had some major mechanical issues with several of our vans. A competitor around the corner on Clairemont Mesa Blvd., known mostly for selling tires, ruined one of our diesel trucks. Left an oil leak unchecked. We towed it to Prestigious. George and his staff provided and installed a new diesel engine for a very reasonable price and got us back on the road. This is only one of many vans we’ve had Prestige do maintenance and repair on. Also, their car wash is truely one of the best I’ve ever used!

If you are the type to care about little things on your car, then I recommend you find some place else to service your vehicle. I gave this place 2 tries and will not be coming back. The first time I took my new vehicle here I ended up with a couple surface scratches even paying for the $40 hand wash option. The second time I was in a rush and wanted a basic quick wash to get some dust off my vehicle and ended up letting them run it through the automatic wash. BIG MISTAKE. Ended up with 3 paint chips and little nicks on my windshield. I have learned my lesson and will be washing my own car from now on. Also will have to spend extra money on fixing the paint chips to prevent any further damage. Use at your own risk.

Very disappointing. I came here 2 weeks ago to get my car washed and clean up my center console. I specifically asked for the following things to be cleaned: my visor mirrors and my center console. The guy said "yes, yes. That means you want 'vinyl' cleaned. $10 more, we clean everything up here except the seats." I thought that was a bit much to upcharge me to clean it, and thought that dusting the dash was included anyway, but oh well, I went for it. When I got my car back: the windows were spotty and streaky, the edges of the windows were still dirty, spots all over the car, visor mirrors were NOT cleaned, dash was still dusty, and my center console was barely wiped down. I had also asked for air freshener, and there was none. I could have done a better job with a $6 gas station drive through car wash and a Swiffer duster in 3 minutes. What a huge disappointment and a waste of money! I will NEVER return!

This place normally does a good job but today was horrible. It looks like the car was washed but they never bothered to dry it before the water evaporated. I have water marks all over so it looks like I never had the car washed. I only noticed it on the hood when I came up. I told the young man about the water spots. His response was was that their system doesn't do that and that it was there before. I told him that I absolutely was not. He did a half hazard job of wiping it down.

I got an oil change, which came with a car wash. The outside of my car was covered with dead bugs, and they put it through twice to make sure it was clean. The prices are reasonable for the services they provide.

Quality of service is amazing. The manager showed me by hand all of the issues and everything that needed to be done before doing an services along with in depth explanations of what the problems were and courses of action to solve them. Very impressed with the workers. Also all services come with a complimentary car wash that is basic but good but they do a great job of cleaning and vacuuming the interior which is a nice touch. I've been getting my car washed and oil changed at Prestige for well over a year now and always have a good experience. They're super friendly and always helpful if I have questions about my car. A couple of weeks ago I dropped my car there to deal with a sound that I thought was a bad wheel bearing, which I know can be pricey to fix, but after checking it out and test driving and even taking me for a test drive, they said my wheel bearings were fine and there was no charge. Wow! I'm definitely going back the nextvtime I have an actual problem with my car.

Purchased a Group on for . They did an absolute AMAZING job!! They took out every single tree sap spot throughout my whole car, and let me just say, there were quite a bit of spots ALL over my car! I definitely recommend taking your vehicles here. Just plan on leaving it for the whole day. But its worth it!!

This was my car wash I would go to often but it seems like this place has been a disappointment for a while but I stupidly kept going back. The problem I have is on the drying end of the wash the last 3 times they have been using dirty cloths to dry with which leaves a muddy residue. Many times they don't take the time to dry the car thoroughly and I come home with water streaks dripping from every opening on my car, I have to re-detail it myself. Once one of the guys that were drying was on his cell phone most of the time and the passenger side of my car still was wet when I got home. I've had enough of this place and I'm going back to my old car wash in Carmel Valley, they cost a few bucks more and out of the way but they were very consistent. P.S. They are trying a new tactic of hard selling detail work and they don't give up when you say no. They did this the last two times I was there.

Very impressed with the quality of service and the friendliness of the staff. Met one of the owners while watching my car getting waxed - very involved in his business which is a good thing. Detailer on my black BMW recommended that I get touch up paint from the dealership for a chip on the hood, and that they would apply for me. Definitely recommend to people who take pride in their cars.

Came in because I has a black smudge inside my vehicle on a cloth portion. I was surprised at the smiling faces of all the workers who seemed to be excited to be working at this location. Everyone greeted me and said Hello.... When it came time to get the stain out, they took roughly 10 minutes and like magic it was gone! Cost to have the service done was well priced. If i need my car detailed or washed, this is going to be the place.

I went to wash a car today and I was very dissapointed. I will summarize, they told me I had to put the mats back on at home because they were still wet (when I paid for them to clean them). Scent was not applied when I paid for one. They did not uset he compressed air on my car so there were stains after a few minutes. Overall it was not a good experience. I am not the type of person that complains to get free stuff, I just don't come back and I won't go nack to Prestige. I hope this helps people choose a different car wash place when looking for one.

I'm torn about how many stars to give this business. The employees for the oil change were excellent - 5 stars! However, for a first-time visitor (which I told them I was), there was a lack of communication. They openly told me there would be a long wait when I first arrived, so I left and came back later. Them I was told that it would be about an hour for the oil change and carwash (oil change $34.95, carwash included). It was not immediately apparent where I was to wait, so I went out front where the carwash customers were. After 45 minutes, I wandered back toward the oil change and found a separate indoor seating area for service customers. Though the employee who'd taken my vehicle was in and out multiple times with paperwork and letting other customers know that their vehicles were ready, he never said anything to me. After 1.5 hours, I noticed my vehicle sitting out front, and asked the clerk how I was supposed to know when my car was ready. She went to check and found that it was done, but they hadn't printed the paperwork so I could pay and leave. I finally got out of there after nearly 2 hours and was late picking up my daughter from her gymnastics class. The carwash portion was mediocre at best - they left the middle row seats down and the driver's seat pulled wayyyyy up, so I had to run around fixing everything before I could drive away (and I was late already). The windows didn't appear to have been wiped on the inside and there were spots on the outside that could have been cleaned with a little elbow grease. So 5 stars for polite and friendly employees, 2 stars for taking way too long and doing a mediocre carwash job = 3.5 stars. P.S. The entrance to this business is on Othello. Hopefully that will save you from driving around the block like I had to do!

I called to inquire about services, particularly the process used for cleaning the seats and what type of sealant/protectant they offer. The lady who answered the phone, although fairly nice, could not answer any questions other than what they charge. She told me she would need to have someone call me back. When I did receive a call back, the gentleman barely spoke English and could not answer my questions much better than the lady who initially answered the phone. It was frustrating, and it put me in an uncomfortable position because, in the interest of trying to give this place a chance, I had to ask him to put someone on the phone who speaks better English. And that is not something I am ever comfortable having to do because I truly have compasson for everyone and hated the thought of making him feel as though I was being racist or unkind in any way. I’m sorry... but if you are going to run a service business, everyone who answers the phone should be able to answer the basic questions. I am prepared to spend money to have my seats and carpets cleaned today. But I am very reluctant to waste my time driving to this place when I am not 100% confident that I will get what I need... and cannot even get someone on the phone who can assure me. Just my honest thoughts.

If you don’t want super fine scratches on your car I wouldn’t recommend going through a car wash, not even at Prestige. I chose Prestige from the high end cars shown on their video, pseudo high score on Yelp, and top 10 rating in San Diego, the Jaguar that was in front of me and the Audi that was beside me, and then a nervous conversation with who seemed to be the Manager/Owner. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the car washing system and their history of successful washes. I was afraid to have my car washed at any car wash and have not done so since I bought it a year and a half ago. He assured me that the drive through car wash wouldn’t damage my wheels or my car. Well, If fine scratches from the blue circular “soft” brushes are not considered damaged, then it’s not damaged. However, I have been the only one to hand wash my car since I bought it; I don’t even let Land Rover put it through the car wash after its service, and they are always amazed at the fact that when they do their walk around it doesn’t have a single scratch and the black part is so shiny! Unfortunately after its service last Friday it sat outside overnight and got very dirty. I was on a time crunch Saturday and needed to get her cleaned before meeting with family. I’m sad to say that I got my Range Rover cleaned at Prestige and for the first time I have all these fine scratches that really only show up on the black that outlines my windows, (white part in a certain light) but it’s the first thing I see when I open the door. I have always used a soft cloth to clean around the windows and they were mirror shiny. Some pictures included in Yelp under My Range Rover’s scratches after its first wash in a drive through car wash system, which happened to be Prestige Autowash.

I wish I could give it a negative 5 i am highly disappointed in the whole experience. My Husband had recommended it because he use to come here years ago and I wanted a full detail wash we paid about $140+tax and I for one believe that's expensive but for what they said was include I was like okay my husband paid them and as my husband talk to them i asked one of the guys to leave a side door pocket alone he had told me he would (that didnt happen) so we are waiting what seems to be forever and I understand when we asked for basically the works it would be some time okay and maybe I was inpatient but my husband said itll be worth the wait now comes to the time to finally start detail of my car I didnt notice until I seen baby diapers on floor first off how they just pile your stuff up on the floor is hella rude I didnt know that's how they treat peoples things second they should have carts to hold peoples belongings so it's not dirty well we threw the diapers away of course and we waited til they finished and it was longer then was told would be done then finally when finish oh my goodness it was a mess it was horrible I could have used about 50 bucks and detailed everything myself it was really bad the side doors dirty the dash board dirty even the outside had scratchmarks not permanent but like grease or oil marks that were not there to begin with. Now mind you we only got the car wash to go to a convention for my husband and we wanted it to be nice inside looking nice (didnt happen worse mistake) when we finally brought it up to the guy he was asking to get it redone ummm 1st we were out of time had to pick up kids from school and next day we were leaving early to the convention 2nd he said okay well heres the number for the owners son which idk why we could not have the owners number. When we finally talk to the owner we told him all that happen... he made us see why it was a mistake to do business here made my husband very disappointed in them for the treatment. We had to explain and explain to him we got it done for one reason I wish my husband did not pay cash I would have called the bank to fight for the money. The owners son was horrible and we did not get a refund even though we did not get what we paid for and to top it off the detail involved getting seats cleans and it was suppose to smell like new car but drying took some hrs and all it did was smell like old socks or feet it was nasty we had to spray alot of febreeze on the seats floor. I would highly not recommend this spot for detailing or washing I do hope they loose business because of this post because at the end of the day you do not treat your customers in that kind of manner especially when we paid for a service so pricey and waited longer then was told only to receive the worst service.

Great place of business. I have been using prestige since 2007. The wash and detail is great. The lube department is friendly and fast, and Tim and Paul in the repair department have had my trust with all our family cars since my first visit. I highly recommend this place.
