Took vehicle in explained exact issue, knew the exact issue. Wanted to see if it was covered under extended warranty. It wasn’t no big deal right. Well then I was told they hooked it up for diagnostic which didn’t need done because it wasn’t getting a code it was a specific issue point right to it, it’s a joke for crying out loud, well diagnostic is 80 bucks. Ripoff. Cost to fix issue at local muffler shop. 80 bucks the cost of fake diagnostic. Oh they were nice, cut that in half for only 40, cutting me a deal. Please just don’t buy the extended warranty and take vehicle to local grease monkey that will fix your car. And that diagnostic just run by autozone if you do have a code it’s free. My family and I are looking for a new vehicle and just happen to drive by the Thornhill outlet up at Fountain Place. They had what looked like a pre-owned Ford F-150 setting in the corner of the lot with a large sign on the window that said "2018". So we decided to stop and take a look. A salesman came out and when we ask about the truck he said it was a 2015 Lariat for $42,000. When I said there was a sign in the window that said it was a 2018. He said I couldn't go by that sign, it was a 2015. So while he was talking to my wife I seen a new silver Acadia on the lot. When we ask about the Acadia he said it stickered for $45,000. I used my phone and checked their website which had the Acadia listed with a MSRP at $48,375 and the internet price at $40,900. So, I ask if that was the same car the salesman said yes. Then I questioned the internet price and the salesman ask me if I had ever owned a GMC vehicle. I said no and he told me the $40,900 price was for customers who have previously owned a GMC vehicle. We said we were going to run down to the dealership and look and he told us he would meet us there. After looking around the dealership my wife decided to go down to Thornhill Ford. The salesman did not like that idea at all. We talked to a nice young man named Colten at the Ford place but didn't see anything that we were really interested in. Colten was very informative and very helpful. The next day I called the dealership and talked to a very nice and informative woman named Bridgett. She said the internet price would be the price I paid if I came down and it did not matter if I had owned a GMC vehicle before. She said Lee was the manager and if we would come down he would take care of us. When I asked about GMC's educator's discount she was not sure if Thornhill participated in that program and said Lee could answer that and any other questions for me. I called the dealership three times that day asking to speak with Lee. He was always unavailable and the person took my contact information each time and assured me Lee would contact me that day. It has been two days, and I haven't heard from anyone at the Thornhill dealership except for the Colten at the Ford dealership. He called and asked if we had any questions after our visit. When I read the reviews posted on this site I keep seeing Lee's name as the person you need to contact. I hope you have a better experience than we did. So that's my Thornhill experience. Good luck

If I could put zero stars I would. I have heard a lot of people in the past speak negatively about this dealership and it definitely lived up to those rumors. Tried to buy a camper from this dealership (yes I know they are a car dealership) but they did not take any steps in assuring us that what they were selling was completely functioning. Before buying they stated that they would make sure nothing was wrong with the camper before we pulled it off the lot and they clearly did not because the air conditioner needed completely replaced. We bought it on a Friday evening and we could not find out any information for what parts were needed until Monday morning. Instead of giving us until Monday morning to gather all the information needed we had to return it by Sunday to get a refund. We even offered to pay half on the repairs on something they sold us before even knowing how much it was going to be. It was very poor customer service all around and they did not do anything to try and make it right. I hope someone reads this review before buying the camper so they do not get ripped off like we did. They sold it to us for $11,300 so don't let them try to sell it to you for way more. Because even if they get the air conditioner fixed the furnace will need replaced very soon too with other parts because the unit that is in there currently is not made anymore. So repairs will be thousands of dollars when it goes out. Please avoid this camper!

Very rude, and wasn't helpful at all.. Turned us down right away, didn't even help us look at cars. None of the used cars have warranty. If you're looking for domestic cars go to Ford. If you want a foreign car go to Nissan in Columbus and ask for Ron!

I an sitting here now ..was told I would be in and in 3 hours ....3 hours later they tell they just finished diagnostics and it'll be 5-6 hours more till they get done and that's a maybe ..what a joke ..really 3 hours just to see what's wrong ...on top of that I added for a rental and they told me no ..all I was told was sorry for luck ..please go wait in the waiting ..there's donuts and coffee ...

Bought a brand new Colorado from here a year ago. Just the other day I went to get a sticker and a oil change... well they said they had ordered my park light after I had set there for 5 hours. Called them back today "two weeks later" they don't even know what I'm talking about they never even ordered it. So with that being said I have to go back up there waste more gas drive illegal even more than what I've had to waiting. Absolutely bullshit. Poor service...

My first experience with the Thornhill family of dealerships was in South Charleston with Acura. My experience at Acura led me to the Ford and GMC dealerships in Chapmanville, WV. I ended up purchasing a GMC Sierra and could not be happier with my experience. I have dealt with the service department with one recall program and they treated me like they wanted to make me a Thornhill customer for life. I have driven and owned many different brands of vehicles and everyone makes good products. It really comes down to what you want in a vehicle and the quality you demand for the money you pay. The treatment at a dealership is what keeps you coming back as a satisfied customer, they are just a sales and support location for the product itself. If you are in the market for a Chevy, GMC, or Buick, Thornhill GM Superstore is the place I would send you to.
