I was traveling through WV on business and lost my clutch slave cylinder on my Accord at the stoplight nearby the dealer. Took it to Straub at about 4pm and the car was finished by 1030am the very next day, including having to order a part. I can't say enough about how helpful the entire staff was, and how George seemed to take it personally to get me back out and on my way as soon as possible. I cannot recommend them enough, they went well above and beyond my expectations and I'll always remember that.

Expensive. Had a 9 am appt and got us back within 10 minutes of the appointment time. Took 2 hours for oil change, inspection, alignment, and 2 new tires put on. Almost $400. They did apply 2 coupons to lessen the price a bit. They try to accommodate people's busy schedules.

This review is strictly for the service. I went in to do a full steering/wheel alignment in Jan 2019, and now my 2016 Civic Touring pulls to the right, and it's still not fixed. After 1 appt with another dealership (Rohrich Honda in Pittsburgh), their first set of fixes to the car have confirmed my distrust for Straub Honda services. I originally wanted to do a full tire realignment on my car, because we're recommended to do this every year. After the first appointment, the car felt good (handling fine, etc.), except for the fact that I had to tilt my car 35 degrees to the left since the car kept pulling to the right. I came back in Feb 2019 for free, and they said nothing was wrong, but I insisted the problem wasn't fixed. I had Rohrich Honda in Pittsburgh semi-fix the problem, which was due to the rear tire toe/cambre adjustment being loose. So now instead of tilting my steering wheel to the left 35 degrees all the time, I'm now tilting my steering wheel to the left at 15 degrees (only at high speeds, not all the time) after the Rohrich Honda appt. That's an improvement but Rohrich acknowledged there was still an issue with the car based off of other symptoms and will happily take the car back later this year. Even after all this information, they won't refund me, despite the fact I asked for a refund multiple times in April-June. We've had other issues with this specific dealership with other cars. I don't recommend them at all for service (broken gear change thingy on a 2018 CRV, can't fix a simple wheel bearing issue on an older Honda Pilot, the list goes on and on). We've had much more pleasant experiences with sales, who are pleasant.

This was the first big purchase that my fiance and I have made car wise and I am less than happy with our experience. I will admit, we should have done more research and leg work looking for a great deal when spending over 18 grand, however, I do believe the salesman seen us coming a mile away and new what he was doing as far as taking advantage of us. We came in we walked around for a good 20 minutes before a random salesman stopped us in the lot asking if we needed help. We also came in with Pre Approved Financing from our own private bank and he basically threw that out the window and proceeds to run our credit over 12 times, After I had personally asked him Not too and was told that he would Not be doing that and there would be No hard pulls on our credit report! Not too mention he wouldn't lower the price At All with it having two places that are damaged. Only saying, "Oh there are No accidents on the Carfax report." I'm not satisfied one bit, and if it were up to me Alone, we wouldve walked that moment! Unfortunatly, we will not be buying any more vehiles with this dealership.

My family has bought from here on multiple occasions and i think this is the first time I have been disappointed, i believe their quality to be dropping. We received a letter in the mail about a "by back" event that they were having and the ad showed that my car was worth 7.5k to 8.5k (rough number, they were more exact in the ad). I showed the ad to an employee, it had some prize thing on it and i got a free oil change (yay). The employee showed me a few vehicles, I said that i HAD to stay under 250 a month payments. One vehicle that i really liked he said he could get it for under 300 a month but was unsure about under 250. Showed my wife the vehicle and she fell in love, after some quick number crunching we decided we could cut a few quality of life expenses from our budget for a better car. So we said we would trade in ours and take the new one. Employee ran the numbers and said that the payment would be over 400! When i asked why so high after he assured us it would be under 300, possibly even under 250, he stated that it was cause they didn't get as much for my car as they were hoping. Only 4k. I brought up the ad and was told they don't make them and thus don't have any control over what they say and thus do not honor them. I told him we could not do that price, therefore we left. I received an email from their manager about trying again, i sent a reply but its now been a few days with no response. I am sad by this because they use to be so good. Quality has certainly dropped as they are unwilling to actually work with people anymore and the ad that is sent out is misleading to the point that it should/could be legally considered false advertisement. TLDR: Use to be good, is no longer, hope other people have better luck than I did. Be wary of any promises/offers/assurances.

First, I want to make it clear that I am reviewing the used dealership at Straub. Upon arriving at the dealership, I was not greeted by any salesperson like I would have been at any other dealership. I had to walk a good distance to locate a salesperson. After locating someone, I asked for Jeff, but Johnathan demanded that he would be our salesperson for the afternoon. While test-driving the vehicle, Johnathan played on his phone and did not attempt to “sell” the car to me in any way! When we arrived back at the dealership, I expressed to him that I was not satisfied by the appearance of the vehicle. There were numerous scratches, dirt marks, key marks, and even sticky messes in the vehicle that they let me test drive. Johnathan argued with me by saying that the vehicle was not fully ready yet and that “he couldn’t make a used car new.” My thought is this: if I am going to be paying for a vehicle for years, I should be more than happy with how the vehicle looks. Finally, after speaking with the manager, they were not even able to get my the car in my price range. They totally gave me a low-ball offer on my trade-in and the vehicle that I was attempting to purchase was over priced in itself. They discounted me 2k and they said that is all they could do. I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience and I am extremely grateful for Joe Romeo’s I-79 Honda/Mazda! They were able to get me exactly what I wanted and in my price range. Do not go to Straub, drive the extra hour to I-79 Honda/Mazda in Mt. Morris, PA!

I took my 2018 CRV in for its first service on Monday. I also asked to have a hood deflector installed as well as a state inspection. In August, I will have had my Honda Clarity for one year and I love it. My first hybrid plug in vehicle, which means I say whether I use the gas or electric. With all the hills in WV, I knew an all electric vehicle would not be practical. Mine is the best of both worlds. Buyers Beware! I emailed this dealership about a handicap van they have for sale for a friend and received a call from Travis. I found him to be very unprofessional and was in the category of a stereotypical used car dealer. He seemed more interested in playing games regarding the price of the vehicle rather than answering questions. Having dealt with other Honda dealers, I was very disappointed with this place. I am surprised at the skill level they have employed. I certainly hope Travis does not represent the entire dealership. Based on my short interaction, I would not ever consider purchasing a vehicle from this dealership.

Worked with Jeff K at the used car area. Purchased a 2013 CRV, happy thus far. Jeff was great, knew what he was talking about and was not pushing for an immediate sale. Financing went well, I worked with David Kowolski. However, after reconsidering the warranty i am currently in the works of cancelling it, I call monday to get that taken care of. Overall a great experience, will update once my warranty has been removed. Straub lives up to their reputation as far as I am concerned.

Went into Straub Honda to rule out buying another make SUV. I was met by Michael Staskey who first listened to what I was after. He then showed me a CR-V. I did not want to like the vehicle, but it blew me away. I could go on and on about why, it is just an amazing vehicle. I purchased a beautiful white EX AWD model. Michael and Straub made the purchase very easy. This was by far the easiest car purchase I have ever made. Michael closed the deal without undo sales pressure. The sales manager did not play “games” while hashing our the price. And the finance manager closed the paper work fast and easy. Straub Honda is now at the top of my dealership list.
