We bought our 2016 Honda Odyssey here from Bengi Nixon and he was an absolute joy to deal with. The people here are very helpful and always seem to want to work with the customer. As a customer, it’s always nice to feel comfortable and not being taken advantage of during the deal. At Joe Romeo I79 Honda/Mazda they seem to always make you the best deal as possible, and when you walk out the door you never have regrets as if the salesman took advantage of you. The service department is also top notch. They get you right in on your appointment without having to wait unnecessarily and leaving clueless on what’s going on with your vehicle. We were able to get our vehicle worked on, while having two children playing in there kids room, staying entertained, and enjoying our time with the employees. Our family has had success here and will continue to deal with the Joe Romeo I79 team in the future when we decide to purchase another new/used vehicle. Thank you for such a wonderful vechicle and pleasant experience.
I am absolutely impressed with the service! I was treated like a queen; highly respected; service was very courteous; I have never had a better service!
Rude, untrustworthy, and arrogant. Took car in for service and their garage damaged it. They refused to discuss it further or even feign concern. Not recommended.
My husband and I have purchased 2 new cars from I-79 Honda. We purchased a 2013 Pilot last year and recently purchased a 2014 CR-V. We had an excellent experience with our salesperson, Andrew Walker. We would never consider going anywhere else or deal with anyone other than Andrew when buying a new car!! Andrew was very thorough in answering all of our questions. Additionally, the service department is excellent and extremely knowledgeable. Best dealership around!!
The best buying experience I have ever had start to finish! The Walker's are just good honest individuals with a very high level of knowledge and experience. Thank you for a smooth buying experience!
Recently purchased a 2017 Honda CRV from I79 Honda Mazda. Our experience was by far the best my husband and I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. The salesperson, Bill Smith, was very personable, attentive, and knowledgeable about both Honda and Mazda vehicles. The finance person, Dianna, completed the purchase process in a very efficient and timely manner. All the staff we encountered were most pleasant and professional. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
I would like to give a huge shout out to Bill at I-79 Honda for all his help with my new car! Great service and awesome cars! If you're in the market for a new Honda then be sure to go to Joe Romeo's I-79 in Morgantown.
The service center is great. They explain everything and the prices were reasonable.
Randall was my salesman. Good guy
Great people and best cars
Only place I buy!!
We stopped at the I-79 Honda on last Monday just to look and check out the CR-V. The vehicle was rated one of the top of small SUV. Two hours later, we traded in our Toyota Highlander for a new CR-V Honda. Mr. Bill Smith was the salesman. He is very friendly, helpful and patience. He and the sales manager worked out an excellent deal for us. It sure was a delightful experience in getting a new car from I-79 Honda Mazda.
Doug McCarty and the folks at I-79 Honda were very helpful throughout the vehicle leasing process. Initially, I was ignorant of the vehicle leasing option. However, after working with Doug, I felt that I was able to make an informed decision that best met my current circumstances.
Joe's Romeo's I-79
I went with my son to test drive some cars. The salesman was very nice and although we didn't buy a car there, I would highly recommend them.
They are a very kind group of people that really took the time to communicate with me and help me get a really great Silver Honda HR-V 2019 from the Morgantown, WV location and trade in my Honda 2008 Civic. Dan was really helpful in letting me choose a vehicle that would suit me and Andrew went above and beyond to help me with organizing my finance plan. I truly recommend them if you are looking for a new car, and Hondas in my opinion are really well made cars. My Honda civic lasted 10 years with very little major maintenance needed. I'm really looking forward to my new vehicle and keeping it for a long time. Thank you so much Honda.
I-79 Honda Mazda is great. Friendly people they really do what they need to do to help out their customers. They really care about there customers and give great deals!
We bought a 2015 Subaru a month ago,we paid Bluebook for it. It was exactly the one I wanted and only 2,000 miles - I commute to Monroeville so I needed a reliable car. I noticed on bad weather days it felt like it was weaving, my husband looked and the outside edge of the back tires were almost bald. We brought it back and they were awful - refused to replace the tires, didn't even look at it. Only thing offered was they would do an alignment (which is covered under the factory warranty). One of them actually said " well it is a used car" - there was only 5000 miles on the tires! I brought it up to Cochran #1 Subaru by my office who found the issue in 5 minutes, one of the rods by the back tire was extremely bent causing the tire damage. They called Subaru and got the tires covered by them, but I had to pay for the part and labor which I did gladly. I will NEVER go back to I79 Honda, what a terrible experience
Great price on a nice used car! They have a great sells team and nice selection of quality pre-owned vehicles. I highly recommend Randall!
This place is the place to go if you’re looking for a new car. Very friendly and patient staff. This is the best customer service I have ever received. While looking at a car my fiancé and I were interested in, they told us it was at their fairmont location. Not only did they go get it for us, they bought us lunch while we waited for them. We worked with Randal and he is very kind and informative! When we later had an issue with the car, the Mazda center sent someone down to come get our car and put it in the garage and gave us a brand new 2019 car to drive around until we got it back! Very good customer service :) highly recommend!
They are not as friendly as my other dealer. A little pricy as well.
Hello, I 79 Honda was a great place to purchase my Frist newer vehicle. I’ve been to the car dealerships looking . And while the other car dealerships are nice . I found 79 Mazda to be wonderful, efficient , and honest . Treat their customers with respect and take the time to make sure the customer gets what they want .and they are happy with it .and understands what they’re getting. They are not afraid to give 100% that’s what they gave me . They had most everything prepared for me and Stayed in contact and communicated well . I was the person who had bad credit/no credit but I had the paperwork to show that I make enough money .And they gave me a chance, I’m in love with my Kia that’s what I wanted to begin with when I went car shopping and they got me in one I was looking at another car Mazda cx5 but I really wasn’t happy with it just because the Kia fit better for my family and they got me in the Kia they took the time .
Great sales staff and the service department is very accommodating
Honda Service Department is always very friendly, helpful and fast! Very pleasant experience!
I dealt with Greg Robinson over in the used car side. He was very polite professional and knowledgeable about the vehicles. I walked away a satisfied customer with a newer truck after having a horrible Friday night after wrecking mine. Highly recommend this team of professionals.
Loretta is so awesome at her job she help me from start to finish. This made it so much less scary since this is my biggest purchase ever especially on my own. Highly recommended you to go down n get a car!!! Gregory was just as nice... What AN Awesome staff!!!
Purchased a 17 Tundra with approximately 37000 miles from Joe Romeo's with the extended warranty in December of 2018. On the ride home I noticed rotor shudder but didn't concern myself with it considering I purchased the warranty that was described as similar to a factory warranty. When I returned to the dealership in early April after putting less than 3000 miles on the truck for a warranty oil change, I mentioned it to them and they stated rotors weren't covered under the warranty. The warranty rep had Joey Romeo talk with me who agreed to supply the rotors at cost and install them. Junior wasn't the most pleasant personality to deal with but he did provide a business card and ask that I contact him when I am ready to have them replaced. After two weeks of left voicemails and text messages, Joey did answer my telephone call and even referenced the text message that he did not respond to. Again, he approached the issue with arrogance which I was not going to tolerate a second time. Furthermore, now Joey doesn't want to supply the rotors at cost. Short version of the long story is, I will replace the rotors which were bad on a truck I purchased from them. This post should serve as an example that they do not follow up after the sale and hopefully folks will take their business elsewhere.
Not my first chose but not my last either...
Bought a used 2006 Honda Ridgeline, auto auction vehicle, very nice used truck, Marty our sales man was great, took a little prodding to get the all of the out of state paperwork taken care of within 30 days, but it did get taken care of on a Saturday none the less.
was promised X amount for a trade in on a new car and when we got there they completely went back on there word! i will never buy a car from these guys!!!!!! especially if the owners son takes over, he is a disrespectful pig!
The only Honda Service Center Near Morgantown. Does a good Job. Never had complaints.
Bought my third car here. Awesome service, great selection. Won't be my last car I buy from here.
We bought a used Honda CRV and are very happy with it. Robyn was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond by coming in on her day off to help us since it was the best time that worked for us. We traded in an older vehicle that was currently not running and they gave us a fair amount for it and even had it towed at no extra expense to us. Very pleased with the service.
Knowledgeable and helpful salesmen. Quickly gave me the information I needed and didn't try to force me into a car.
I bought a used Ford F150. Closed the deal over text messages. Traded in my Wrangler. Benji was a cool and patient sales rep. I didn't have the title with me but that wasn't an issue. They were fine with me mailing in the title. They had the papers ready by the time I stepped in. I drove the truck and was exactly as they described it. It took them less time than a Walmart checkout would take to hand me over the keys.. The dealership closes at 6pm on Friday but they stayed till 7pm for me. I got a full tank of gas as well. The only disappointment was that the truck wasn't serviced (oil change) after they took it in.
Great people, better deals!
Wonderful place, Robin was great to work with! Highly recommend!
First and foremost I cant express how thankful I am to Joe Jr. He was a fantastic sales manager took care of me while buying the truck and helped with all of my concerns. He even had the exhaust manifolds replaced that were cracked and gave me a very fair deal on a Subaru that needed some work. Always kept me updated during the repair process because it took a week.Phenomenal guy! Can't say enough good things about him. So I'm sure at this point while reading this you are wondering why I have given them a two star rating. Well reasoning is this. So before I took the truck back to joe Romeos to have the manifolds fixed I plastidipped the bumpers washed and waxed the truck and put an American flow master exhaust on it. I took pictures before and after of it and posted them to my Facebook. Truck was looking sharp as could be. Upon picking the truck up this morning I gave it a once around (who wouldn't) I have been working in the car business for 9 years I know accidents happen and I wanted to make sure there was no damage. So while looking at the truck I can't help but notice my plastidip job on both front and rear bumpers has been very very scuffed up and and is now peeling on the one corner there is scratches all over the tail gate both sides of the bed a small dent in the passenger door and more scratches on the doors almost as if some one had maliciously keyed it while it was in the care of their dealership. I brought it to the attention of the sales man Marty I dealt with being Joe Jr was not there and he said hey it looks like someone keyed it and we have cameras we can look. He then walked over to Joe Sr. And explained to him what happened. So Joe Sr walks over to me and asks what the problem is I explain to him everything. He says no it was like that and it's an 8 yr old truck. Then proceeds to tell me I am a liar even tho he said he is not calling me one. Which he is blatantly doing to my face. Then proceeds to grab me by the arm physically which is a big no no for me you don't grab or touch other people especially a combat vet with ptsd that don't want touched. He pulls me to the back of the truck and tells me "we detail all of our cars and we would have seen it and your pictures are no good if I was there when you took the pictures that would be one thing but I wasn't. Look at that bumper it's been painted! It's old it's been like that what do you want money?"I then look at Marty who is gazing in disbelief of what is happening. So I said "I simply wanted to tell you what happened sir " then after some more words were exchanged I said "I'll just take it to john Howard Subaru were I work and fix what they have done. Then the old man offers me a job and says of you wanna see how I do business come up here and I'll give you a job. No sir I think you have shown me completely how you do business. so everything said and done I was a liar to him and I don't know that the truck I bought that was perfectly fine a week ago is now messed up and that its my fault and there is nothing to be done. There was much more that took place but that is the basics of it. Needless to say I will never do business with them again and I will tell everyone I know to avoid that place. Sorry Joe Jr you have done a fantastic job and had been thwarted by your senior. This is not how you treat customers.
Great customer service, quality repairs and friendly staff.
good sevice department
If there was an option for zero stars, I would give that. This place is dishonest! They advertise online deals they cannot actually offer. Complete bait and switch... Buyer beware!
Highly Recommended!! Very nice, knowledgeable, and fast service. I will definitely buy from them again!
Helpful sales team, and good service.
A week ago, my wife and daughter were about an hour from home when their fairly new car began making a continuous scraping noise. Luckily for them, the I-79 Honda dealer was within sight of the closest exit. Although it was 6:30 on a Saturday evening (past closing time), John Walker was still at work. He got on the ground, diagnosed the problem (a missing fastener from a recent oil change performed at a national change), and temporarily fixed it so that they could travel home safely. He made a recommendation as to how to permanently have the car repaired, which they have done. I am truly grateful for his assistance, so that my wife and daughter could continue home safely.
Excellent service!
I purchased a 2009 VW Passat CC from this dealership 3 months ago. After I purchased it I drove it to Savannah, GA and back and then to Charleston, WV and back. Other than these 2 trips I only drove it back and forth to work (which is also mostly interstate miles). I had bought it with 58,000 miles on it and have put 4000 miles on it. When gravel hit my windshield a couple of weeks ago, I needed to get the windshield replaced and ended up needing a new inspection. The car did not pass. My mechanic told me that I needed all 4 brake pads (they were almost down to the rotors but not into them, thank goodness). The cost of the brake pads for this particular car is $200.00 for both sets! Now, in my experience, brake pads don’t go that bad within 3 months. Even though I had put 4000 miles on the car, I’d say half of those miles were interstate miles using my cruise control. My mechanic agreed with me and also told me he couldn’t understand why my brake sensors never went off either. So, I called the dealership and spoke with Joey, the Used Car Manager. He was extremely rude to me. He talked over me…. actually yelling at me. Told me that I had attitude (not sure how he would know that seeing as he would not let me speak). I finally cut him off and told him that he actually was the one with the attitude and that I would just like to speak my side and explain things to him. To this he told me…..”You can say whatever you want, I tested those brakes at a 6-8 and they were fine; I deal with people like you every day. You put 4000 miles on that car and you have no argument.” At this point I basically just told him he was extremely rude and that I would never recommend his business to anyone and hung up on him. The bad thing about this is that my salesman, Greg, was very professional and helpful (I had previously bought another car off of him for my daughter). In this case, his hands were tied in what I had to deal with. However, because of the poor quality of customer service if you are having an issue, and because of how I was treated by the Used Car Manager (whom I am assuming was Joe Romeo, Jr., the owner’s son), I will never consider them and will steer people away from the business from now on. The manner in which I was treated while attempting to clear up the issue was the rudest and most unprofessional way that someone who is supposed to be a professional has ever treated me.
I had a great experience at this dealer! Dan Parker was extremely helpful in finding a car that was right for me. Bought my 2015 Honda Civic new at a crazy good price. I absolutely love my new Honda! Big thanks to: Dan (really went out of his way) for introducing me to my new car, Drew for getting me an unbelievably good deal on it, and Loretta for making the paperwork process easy and transparent. Highly recommend these folks.
I had a wonderful experience at i79 Honda Mazda. Joe Romeo has such a wonderful business model and it truly pays off to the customer's benefit. The staff is pleasant, friendly, and extremely accommodating. I am on my second vehicle at i79, and hope to be a customer for life! The Romeo Family, Joe, Bill Smith, and Loretta were all wonderful! We will be back!
It's okay.
Good service , friendly.
Awesome
If you plan to have your Mazda serviced here, I suggest you find another Mazda dealer/shop. The service supervisor is not honest (my experience was in May 2015). My car needed a new thermostat and the car stayed in the shop for two hours (I timed the work done). When paying the bill, I noticed that the service supervisor (Mike) charged me 3 hours of labor. When I complained, he said that they charge labor according to work done, not by the time the car stayed in the shop. He added that if I did not pay the bill in full, the car would stay in the shop. I had no other choice but to pay the bill in full, as I had to get on the road to New York. Later I checked the industry-norm labor required to change a thermostat and all sources quoted that the time was 2 hours or less. This is a warning to Mazda owners to stay away from I-79, especially from Mike, if he is still there.
Excellent service from the Coach.
People that were great. I got there after they've closed the doors are locked and everybody was getting ready to go home yet still 2 employees greeted me introduce themselves and invited me to continue browsing and set to come back on Monday whenever they open at 9. One of the people that greeted me was not even a salesperson. Very impressive.
This is where I purchased my used Honda CRV SUV and I fell in love with it during my test drive. I feel like I got a very good deal on the Honda CRV SUV, the staff could not have been any nicer than when I was buying the vehicle. I have received two different recall notices since I purchased my Honda, and I took it back to Joe Romeo's Honda shop. The staff were once again very friendly, very accommodating while I was waiting to get fixed whatever it was that needed fixing and I did not have to pay anything. Joe Romeo's Honda shop also has FREE coffee and pastries for their customers while the customers wait for their vehicles.
If you are looking to purchase a used car look elsewhere. I drove 1.5 hours to get to the dealership after talking to them on the phone about the used vehicle I wanted to purchase and looking back now I wish I never made the deal. I love the vehicle but once I got it home I decided to get the oil changed because it looked dirty and upon getting that done I received notice that I had a power steering hose leak, the brakes and rotors on the front were rusted out and needed replaced, there was a slight coolant leak. All of these items that should be seen on a quick inspection of the vehicle so this shows the dealership does not look the vehicles over very well. I call them to let them know and I was told that is not in the 25% coverage of the powertrain but they would give me $150 towards this which was $500 out of my pocket right after purchasing a vehicle. So that is better than nothing, but it takes a month for the check to come for it to be $100. On top of that there was a dent on the vehicle that I was told would be taken out before pickup and I get there and it was not taken out because the dent guy said he couldnt fix it. I brought it to a local body shop for them to say a dent guy should be able to get it out, but once again that is another $150 out of my pocket so needless to say I love the vehicle but not pleased with the services.
We bought a 2012 Chrysler 200 last week from I-79 Honda/ Mazda and our service was great! Our salesman Mike Iaquinta was very knowledgeable of their inventory and helped to locate what we were looking for quickly. He came in on his day off to finish up the paper work and make sure the car was ready to our satisfaction. Loretta Baldwin in financing got us approved quickly but contacted me the next day and said she was sure she could get us a better interest rate at a local bank. She in fact did get us a much better rate and spent her day off doing that as well. I was very moved by her genuine desire to get the customer the best deal possible. We' ve bought many cars over the years but there are very few salesman or staff that will go the extra mile for you as I-79 Honda/Mazda. We would highly recommend them to anyone.
Very friendly, and reasonable. They are very acomadative.
I was very pleased with Robyn and would recommend her to anyone not looking for your typical shady car salesman. She was very helpful and straightforward about every question we had. This is the first non-subaru car purchase I've ever made and while I still enjoy Subaru, I got tired of the rigamorole at John Howard, not to mention the dollar signs in the salesmen's eyes when they saw a woman roll into their lot.
Car was serviced in a reasonable time. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable
It was worth the hour drive. Bill “Smitty” Smith and the sales team at I-79 Honda took care of us. Great experience. Will come back for future vehicles
Friendly and not pushy. I have bought many vehicles here without issues.
I was treated so poorly by the general manager! I would tell everyone I know never to come here. When I plan on trading in my 2018 Mercedes this will be the last place I take my business to. Try to treat your customers with a little more respect. If I could give this business no stars I would! Shame on you!
Went there to find out if the used vehicle was under warranty for work that was done to it. After 2 hours of sitting around just for them to say no it isn't. They could have told me over the phone it wasn't. I drove almost an hour there also
I highly recommend joe romeos I just purchased a chevy silverado there today and they gave me the best trade in deal out of every place I shopped at. they were very nice easy going and professional. they were very quick and considerate with everything which made it nice for my family to get in and out and with a smile on out faces . thanks
Looking back on my car buying experience, my only regret would be not stopping at Joe Romeo’s I-79 Honda/Mazda first! Although he was very busy, Joey made me his number one priority while getting me the best deal possible. I fully recommend this car dealership and I am extremely pleased with my purchase.
What a great experience. The staff were genuinely happy to help, and Robyn made the process easy. They really care about what they are selling you and take great care of their vehicles. I purchased a 2015 acura rdx, which feels brand new to me. Thanks so much. Will absolutely recommend.
The people here treated me the best I've ever been treated while buying a vehicle. They catered to my wants and needs and gave me a perfect deal. I was thoroughly impressed and blown away by the outstanding customer service at I 79 honda. Thanks all of you for the opportunity to buy from you!
I bought a Civic Si elsewhere, sales would not give me the time of day. I may not look like someone that can buy a brand new car, but I totally did. Next time someone asks about a new car, maybe you shouldn't dismiss them entirely. URSE Honda 35 minutes south of there gave me the test drive I needed, and I bought a car from them. I am in sales too, and you cannot judge your customers by the way they look it only comes back to cost you sales.
I Saw A Car On Your Website I Was Interested In. When I Arrived At I 79 Honda/Mazda I Was Greeted By Mike Laquinta. He Was Very Nice And Friendly. He Answered All My Questions And Explained In Detail. At No Time Did He Try And Pressure Me Into A Sale. Your Sales Staff And Finance Department Are Great.
I have had two small issues with my 2014 Mazda 6. One was concerning the windshield fluid sprayers and another concerning the tire pressure monitoring system. On both occasions I called to schedule an appointment and instead the service technicians walked me through the fixes over the phone. They easily could have just lazily scheduled an appointment but instead they took the time to help me and saved me an hour drive each way. I rarely review anything but I wanted to tell them thanks for all the help I've received. I can't speak for the rest of the departments, but I would absolutely bring my car here for service.
They r the best. I trust them with my car and always feel it’s safe.
Would recommend. Everyone is wonderful. Drew Harding is very nice
While I Have Put The Car Buying Thing On Hold For A Bit, I Can Honestly Say I'm Pleased With My Experience.. Stephanie Was Awesome! No Pressure At All!!! Soon When The Time Comes Again To Shop For A Vehicle I Will For Sure Be Going Back To This Location!
Had a great experience. I did a lot of research on the car I wanted and was sure I wanted the Mazda 6. I called the Dealership and got Smitty. He was just great. When I went for a test drive, he explained everything about the vehicle. He really knows his cars. They didn't have the car I wanted in stock, but was able to go on-line and find it. In a day they had it in stock and I picked it up. Duane was also just great. He explained everything about the financing. There was nothing hidden. I got a great trade-in on my 21 year old Honda Accord. It only had 202,970 miles on it. I just love my new Mazda 6......And love the deal I got.
My wife & I had decided it was time to trade our old car in on something newer, safer, & more reliable for our family. We had the main concerns many people do when in this situation: our credit isn't amazing so who will finance us @ a reasonable rate/payment & dealing with dealerships isn't always a pleasant or stress free situation. We quickly found out that @ i79 Joe Romeo's, these worries don't exist! Joe Romeo's was one of the first places we looked & we found a vehicle that we loved almost immediately; it had everything we were looking for, has low mileage, & in beautiful condition. We decided to go ahead & "try" to see what they could do for us, but were reluctant going in as we didn't think they could work with our situation. Well Cara, Loretta, & Joe stepped up to the plate & knocked it out of the park for us! Now we're driving a beautiful Honda CR-V that will hopefully serve our family for years to come. My wife & I both have owned/bought vehicles from dealerships in the past before we married & didn't have many, if any positive experiences. These folks made this all happen for us in basically one day! We are still amazed at the incredible job they did & how well they worked together as a team to make sure we got into a safe & reliable vehicle. This is not a place where you are simply treated as buyer, or dollar signs, or a number in line: they treated us like family & we had just met! It was a great family car buying experience, yet if I had been a single man I have no doubt I would've still got that same treatment from these folks. Loretta is the QUEEN of finance & was so efficient with the stacks of paperwork it takes to finance a car...AMAZING! Cara and Joe took wonderful care of me on the sales floor addressing all my questions or concerns. I walked out of there after applying & was shocked at how I felt that they were really, truly wanting to not just sell us a car but rather take care of me & my family. AND when we bought the car they filled up the tank & gave it a fresh detail job....NOT MANY PLACES STILL OFFER THAT! All of this took place in the comfort of the dealership...no driving from place to place or city to city, no being stuck in a mall parking lot having sales people fight or yell at us for business...that certainly isn't how buying a car was meant to be. Go see these folks & they'll quickly remind you of how car buying should be: honest, efficient, fair, & where you are treated as family!!! We are customers for life....even if we moved out of state, we'd come back to them for sure!!!
Bad salesman
I purchased a 2018 Wildcat, the sales person (Smitty) was outstanding but as far as the service dept. and parts go, they get an F. While loading the SxS, one of the employee stood there watching me struggle with the gate on the trailed instead of offering to help (Smitty was inside). I called and left 2 message for the Textron Tech. to give me a call so he could give me an idea how to adjust the door hitting the fender and I didn't get a return call. It feel like they sell Textron on the side and really don't care about there sales.
They take care of their customers!!!
Friendly team of people worth your business. Great service department for quick routine maintenance.
Me and my husband don't have the best credit, but Robyn and Joey worked so hard to get us into a car that we liked. After other dealerships turned us away. They worked with us for 3 days non stop making sure we would get a good car! I'm am very pleased with the car I got! It's the nicest car I ever owned. They never got ignorant or unprofessional when I asked them 100 questions or called/text them 10 times a day! I would recommend them to everyone I know. They will do whatever they can to make sure you are happy. I could go on and on about the great experience I had, but instead I suggest you go and experience it yourself!
Best experience at a car dealership I have ever had!!!! Short and sweet. Robyn was a fantastic sales lady and went above and beyond with Joey Romeo to make my deal happen for a used Dodge Ram. I’d proudly refer you all to anyone I know!!! Thanks for the HEMI
My husband and I just purchased a new Honda CR-V. We were lucky enough to have "Smitty" help us all the way through the process. We had many questions - as we did much research on the internet. He was patient, kind and knowledgeable. Everyone else that we dealt with, Joey Romeo and Andrew Walker, were open, honest and fair. It made buying a car easy. We thank them very much! We highly recommend them!
Bought a 2015 Cadillac escalate from these guys 2 days ago. The brake pad and rotors are all bad all away around this truck. Just talk to the owner Joe his self. He told me I bought a used vehicle I said you're absolutely right about that With brand new inspection stickers on this vehicle. With bad breaks. I asked him repeatedly would he let his two-year-old daughter ride in his vehicle. He wouldn't answer the question. And hung up on me Poor poor businessman I sell cars also. I am a used car salesman. And if there's a problem we make it right.
Rude very rude
I lease a 2012 Madza 3 off of I-79. Right n ow I wouldn't take my dog there to buy a scooter.. At 11,000 miles front wheel bearing went bad they supposedly fixed it and to find out there was never a wrenched turn underneath the car. I called complained Joe Romeo told me to take my effing car and get the f off his lot and to get a lawyer to have my car fixed. Took it to another dealership the fixed the heat shiled rattle and rotated the tires and it fixed it. I have the tires rotated when I have my oil changed. Well leasing company is trying to help this time. So set up appt with them again. The service manager told me he would go for a test drive and if parts where replaced he would show them to me. Well he says it's a tire problem wants me to purchase new tires for $418.00 dollars but can't tell me why the front tires are bald and the back ones are cupped. He wouldn't let me come and leave the tires and rims to another car on it and test drive it or put it on an alignment machine. The tires wouldn't make the right rear tire tick when you put it up on the rack and spin it around. So my advice to any one is stay away from this place.
I needed 4 tires on my Pilot. When I called the dealership Ronnie gave a premiun choice and some lower priced alternatives. I chose the premium tires and they ride great. It's kind of like getting new shoes but sometimes new shoes hurt. There was no pain here. The price was better than tire rack or anywhere else. The alignment and mounting was less than the competitors. The bonus is my Honda was maintained at a Honda dealership by a pro. Thanks Ronnie, John and the I-79 Team !
Purchased a car here. Staff were cordial and great to interact with. Chose dislocation because their maintenance and repair on my prior car were done with love and professionalism. Their waiting room snacks are better in the Honda section than the Mazda section, or at least more stocked... lol.
Great place to do business with!
Great pricing easy to deal with quality automobiles friendly staff
Great people
Very Honest people all of them
I deal with them on parts mostly always very helpful and quick
They go the extra mile to make sure everything is taken care of. Clean waiting area, clean rest rooms, friendly, knowledgeable staff.
I would highly suggest going to another dealership than this place !!! Sale manager Drew Harden is rude and ignorant...... I wouldn’t waste my time stopping ..... just go to Washington, uniontown or Fairmont......
I have been going to this service center for the last two and half years. Never had any issues. Most of my interaction has been with John Dougal (I requested his business card so that I don't forget his name) and he was always respectful.
I do not normally write review but i feel I have given the dealership plenty of time. I bought a used 2015 Lexus G350 from I-79 about 3 months ago. I was told during the negotiation and agreement that they will give me a 90 days bumper to bumper warranty. My mistake was that I took them for their word. I have been buying my Honda vehicles from I-79 for over 25 years both for my self and for my children.and there were never an issue until now. I recommended friends and neighbors to buy from the dealerships. My Lexus developed a squeals every time you applied the brakes especially in the morning and it is really loud. I called and took it to the dealership and they told me it was the disk that was rusty and it would make the noise unless it was replaced. I just bought the vehicle for less than a month. They told me they will not replace them even though i had the 90 days bumper to bumper warranty. They said it was going to cost $180.00 for the parts not including labor. I was upset and I left. I called a couple of days later and told the salesman that I was willing to pay for the parts but they will cover the labor which I thought was a fair compromise. That was before Christmas and the salesman said he will call me back after Christmas. It is now March 9. I still have not heard back from anyone in the dealership. You would think a loyal customer like me that has been dealing with 1-79 Honda for over 20 years is worth keeping but evidently I was wrong. I am upset, who wouldn't be if you are in my shoes especially you negotiated in good faith and you thought you have an agreement. So my warning to potential buyers are to be aware of your agreement and read everything carefully and make sure it is in writing before you make your purchase. Look elsewhere especially used vehicles, there is another dealership further down the I-79 S corridor. Like I said earlier, I do not like to write bad review but I feel this is the only way to vent my frustration and anger and to warn buyers. Maybe I will get someone attention at the dealership,
I drove up from out of state to purchase a used vehicle only to arrive and find a vehicle that was very different then what was described to me on the phone. I inquired if everything was functioning correctly and about frame rust and arrived to find a vehicle with a rusty frame covered with black spray paint to cover the damage and a bad A/C compressor. Despite my first instincts, we made a deal and carried on. Nearly a month later, the 30 day tags are about to expire and my in state tags are no where in sight. I know this is out of their control, but when I requested additional 30 day tags - I get the "we're not able to provide those" excuse. Avoid this dealership.
I came here a few months ago while looking for a new vehicle. Had a baby, and a Chevy 2500 isn't very baby friendly as far as suspension goes. I spoke with the representative and told him what I was looking for. He wasn't pushy at all, and was showing me exactly what I was looking for. I was initially looking at the HRV selection. I'm a pretty tall guy and barely fit, let alone with the car seat behind me. I ended up getting a 2017 CR-V EXL Navi for just a hair over my pre-determined budget. By choice. They never pushed once to try to get me to spend more money. I don't know what everybody is complaining about as far as salesman go. They treated me very well, and I was by no means "dressed up". Jeans and a tee shirt. I will recommend them and have recommended them to friends and family.
I went there to take my blank key to get cut and programmed for my Honda CRV. They were very rude to me and my sister and told me that it would cost me $21 to just cut the key and another $80 to program it, so I just had it cut only to use it for a spare key only, I called another Honda dealer close by and they said they would have only charged me $40 to cut the key and program it, so I got it programmed at the other dealer, so from now on I WILL NOT USE I-79 HONDA IN MT. MORRIS PA. EVER AGAIN!!
Friendly, helpful and gave us a great deal.
Had an amazing experience from start to finish with Honda I79. They were professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this dealer for Honda purchases.
After visiting several different dealerships, I purchased a 2014 Mazda 6 in July from I-79. The salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable about the car along with cars from other brands. I have put 20k miles on my car and have no complaints to date. I will be buying my next vehicle from I-79 Mazda as well.
Sold me a used jeep that ened up having suspension problems.Told me they couldn't find the problem. So instead of trying to fix it said they would rather just get me in somthing different.I said that was fine , but after choosing another vehicle and starting the deal they decided to basically rape me on the trade in value of the original vehicle I bought. So now i have a vehicle that they now say is nothing wrong with it. Terrible experience. Would not advise anybody to go there
I've been relying on their superb professionalism literally for decades. Can't say enough good things about the service department.
Would absolutely give this dealership ZERO stars if that was an option. I highly recommend you to AVOID dealing with this place at all costs or it will cost YOU money in the end! They will lie and say whatever to get you to sign the papers and out the door. Worst mistake ever was purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from them in October 2016. A few days after buying the car I noticed the back passenger door handle was loose and the brakes would squeal every time the car was coming to a stop. Called them about both issues. About a week later the back passenger door handle flew off as I was opening it to put my newborn in the car. The dealership is an hour away from my home. They initially acted like they were not going to give me a rental car when they needed to keep the car for several days to fix the handle. When I told them I would need one because that car was my only means of transportation they eventually did provide me with one. They gave me a dusty and dirty CRV with hair all over it. Mind you I have a newborn so I was absolutely disgusted that I had to transport my baby in this car. I'll post pictures of the rental in another review. When I got my car back (a few weeks later because it's winter and I don't often put the window down from the passenger side) I noticed the window no longer goes down from the front passenger side control. They also told me that had nothing to do with anything they did while fixing the back door. I also was told at the time of sale that the sales man would get the spare key from the previous owner who just trader the car in days prior. I was told that the key would be mailed to me. Fast forward months later when I contacted the dealership regarding the key that was never received they said that it was not promised they would get the key. In fact, they totally lied about what was even said at the time of the deal. And per Joe one of the managers they even sell $100,000 cars with just one key. Well why would I even be thinking about a spare key months after the fact if one was not promised to me?! HORRIBLE costumer service!! And then to bring up the fact they gave me a "rental" while they did repairs on my car as if that was a favor and going out of their way to accommodate me?!?! I purchased a $35,000 car and the handle falls off the door weeks later.... Excuse me, yes you should accommodate me with a rental. Or are you just in the business of getting over on people??
I had a great experience with I-79. Benji was super helpful and responsive, and always felt like I was in good hands, which is not a common thing when buying used cars.
Super nice folks who sell the best vehicle I’ve ever owned.
Do not let the high rating trick you, these guys give themselves high ratings daily to counter the bad reviews. I am a recent college grad and went here last month to test drive a Honda Civic. I loved the car and we planned on picking it up and purchasing it within the next few days after sending it to a larger dealer to have an inspection done. There were over $2000 in repairs. When we asked the salesman at joe romeos they said there was nothing wrong with it and that they wouldn’t give us anything else off/repair the vehicle. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUNG PEOPLE.
Strait forward , knowledgeable dealership. Honest deals
I have purchased three vehicles in the past two years from this dealership. Transactions have been smooth and painless. Salesmen are very helpful and friendly. Have also used their service department a couple of times this year. Again, friendly, prompt service and very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend I-79 Honda.
Bought a couple of Honda C-RV’s off of him over the years. Really nice people, have no complaints with the vehicles or his staff. Thinking about buying another Honda C-RV or Pilot this time when the weather breaks. I recommend this place if you’re looking for quality cars.
I had a wonderful experience with them! The salesman weren't pushy like many salesman can be. I am a recent college grad and needed a car. I didn't have much credit or a co-signer. They worked so very hard to help me purchase the Mazda 3 that I wanted. They even got my monthly payments under my budget. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new Mazda-Honda or used car. Great place with great people willing to work with you!
Just picked up my new car today! Drew is the BEST salesman around! Very knowledgeable about the product and took his time explaining everything. Will always get my cars from Drew Harding at I 79 Honda-Mazda!!
Today I traded my jeep compass in for a Subaru crosstrek thru I-79 Honda. I started with questionable credit feeling like I wouldn't be able to get anything I wanted. When I arrived I met with sales rep Benji who was friendly and very helpful.I never felt pushed or hurried, while I was shown a few options Financial rep Loretta was made aware of my situation and worked hard crunching numbers. When I selected the Subaru Loretta kept in constant contact with me to what I needed to do on my end which eventually got me into my first choice. Both Benji and Loretta made me feel important worked very hard to put me into my new to me vehicle. My wife and I will be I-79 Honda customers from here on out.Thank again I-79 Honda,Benji and last but certainly not least Loretta.
They are very courteous and service is fast.
