Spoke with Joyce last night before close, and she told us we were approved for a specific car, but we were in Point Pleasant and would not make it in time. We arranged to sign the paperwork first thing this morning, and we arrived 15 minutes before they opened. The car salesman informed us the car had sold and attempted to sell us a different vehicle. We were told the night before the car was sold to us. Extremely unprofessional.

Dutch Miller is a great company overall, however this particular service department is horrible. I had a 2017 Subaru engine lock up and I brought it here to have it fixed under warranty as it was still covered and they rejected it. They found some old oil on the oil pan that was probably over flow from the last oil change that spilled and they rejected it because of that. I’m not even sure why that would matter but they flagged the car so no matter what dear I took it too it was rejected so because of Dutch I had to pay thousands for a new motor when it should have been covered under warranty. Just unacceptable, Poor dealership trying to get out of taking care of issues from the brand they sell.

This dealership ROCKS. Mr. Tony has to be the best salesman ever. My friend purchased a car from him back in 2013. Im not allowed to give her age. He's gone out of his way to give her outstanding service from the purchase of her car. She referrs everyone to buy from this dealership, and seek Mr. Tony out to do the deal. You can bet when its time for me to get another car this will be the place I go.

It wouldn't seem like bait and switch if someone could have been bothered to pick up the phone so I didn't have to drive two hours to be told the only car on the lot I was interested in had been sold in the two hours after I agreed to come in the previous day, changing my wife's schedule and my own on my only day off, and a work day for her. Sorry to be such an inconvenience. *Edit to respond I chased you since New Year's Eve on this car. I called every single day because your financing application on your website didn't work properly, and when it did, I got a credit check that will affect my score, which would be fine if I had purchased a vehicle from you. The woman I last spoke with at 5pm had me and my wife change our schedule so that we could come in at opening the next morning. Allegedly this car sold between 5 and 7 PM. I had spoken to just about everyone in that office about this vehicle, and of course me and my wife expected to maybe take it home the next day. We drove about one hour to get there at opening, as instructed, only to be informed it was sold. You're missing the point. I was disappointed the car was gone, but I was angry that no one in the building could call and say, "Hey, we sold that car - maybe don't drive for two hours round trip unless you want to look at other cars."

Great dealership! I wish they were located in NC. Much better mechanics and customer service than Don Smith/Mike Brown Subaru. I believe they take pride in their work and customer service. I was having a safety issue with my Subaru Forester - a faulty passenger seat sensor not activating the airbag on that side. The service manager at Dutch Miller Subaru understood my concern - and true to the spirit of the Subaru Love promise - they fixed the issue quickly and effectively, saying it was covered by my warranty. They truly care about safety.

Excellent place to buy a car, my fiance and I got a great deal on an Impreza. They are great people and will go the extra mile for you so long as you remain civil and kind towards them (as with any business) highly recommend their financing options as well. We will definitely be returning when our Subaru needs to be replaced with another one. The dealership itself is very clean and well thought out. They turned the old Royal Dealership around. Recently took my 2018 Subaru Forester into Dutch Miller Subaru dealership for a repair on the air conditioner compressor. I was told the entire process would take approximately 4 hours, and was surprised when the repair was completed in only 90 minutes...and at no cost to me. Excellent service from this dealership--I would highly recommend to anyone needing to purchase a new car or for service repairs.

In the midst of a road trip back home to Michigan, we had car trouble and were able to make it to the Dutch Miller service department in the mid afternoon on a Friday. We greatly appreciate that they squeezed us in to get us back on our way by 5 pm, as it was really looking like we'd be stuck all weekend. They were able to check over the vehicle and diagnose the problem, assess the safety of driving several hundred more miles to home, and did this all at no charge! We were very impressed with Nick Campbell, who was our service advisor and made sure to answer our questions and get this taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. We were also pleasantly surprised by the dog friendly waiting area and kids play area, which eased the stress of our situation!

If I could I’d leave a zero star review for this business. I recently bought a 2006 Subaru Outback legacy edition. Like any used car there were issues even though it was a one owner vehicle with less than 100k miles. My mechanic of 26 yrs whom I trust implicitly suggested there was a problem with the solenoid in the transfer case and that he thought the dealership would do the best job repairing and ought cost in the $600-$700 while he would take care of other issues such as replacing bearings(for $375 w/3 yr warrantied parts). I took my car to Dutch Miller and explained I needed the transfer case issue and only that issue diagnosed and repaired on recommendation of my trusted mechanic. I was told to leave the car for them to diagnose. Short time later I get a call to pick up my car, there’s not enough gas in the car to diagnose it properly since they have to “run” the car to understand the problem. So far there was no charge but I need to take the car, out gas in it and bring it back. They wouldn’t put in a few gallons and add the cost to bill. And oh...btw I need a new catalytic converter there’s a hole in my muffler I need bearings and they could do this for $900. When I took the car back to my mechanic at Village Auto ( doing business at their location on Elizabeth and Jackson st. for at least 4 decades) he replaced the bearings($375) but found nothing wrong with the catalytic converter. Interesting that he found the entire history of diagnostic codes accumulated since the car first was sold had been wiped clean by the dealership to prevent anyone else from diagnosing a repair issues, and said this kind of behavior was the epitome of chicanery and I agree-exactly the kind of stories you hear about disreputable dealerships and their service departments. Btw...Friday morning 8/16 I get a phone call from the service rep I had been dealing with letting me know they ordered parts to replace bearings catalytic converter etc...wondering when I’m going to bring the car in for repairs While complaints like this were common when Royal owned the Subaru dealership I never expected this kind of b.s. when Chris Miller took over with his honest deals friends and family etc..well this is how my family treats me too so . *update: wasted a half hour or more speaking with Chad Ussery as requested in his response and contacted Chris Miller but no response as of 8/30 .I’m reporting this to the BBB.
