We went to Dan Cava Toyota because our mom used them for her 2007 Prius. We have a 2013 Prius and the passenger side wiper fluid is not working (yes poked a pin in the hole). After waiting an hour and a half, we were told we needed a new valve for the windshield sprayer, but that they did not have the part. They also noted that there was a recall (they were very happy about that) and that they could order the valve for the windshield sprayer and put it in when we came for the recall repair. Since we were going out of town for over a week, they gave us an appointment for a little over two weeks later, stating specialized mechanics had to be in that day to work on a Prius and noting so far we were the first appointment made for that day. About 4 days before our appointment, Dan Cava called to reschedule the appointment stating that there was a conflict in schedule due to a frame rebuild. When we called back, confused because our appointment was the first one made for that day, they kept putting us on hold, arguing about why they had scheduled over us and unable to explain what had happened to those specialized mechanics that needed to be working on our Prius. We finally hung up after telling them they weren't the only Toyota dealer in the area and that their customer service sucked. We will not go back there, EVER. Also, now we're getting auto related junk mail. They have sold our contact information.

I originally rated their Bridgeport location with 5 stars, because I was impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They were willing to negotiate price and even stayed late to complete the paperwork. HOWEVER, the 2016 car I bought started having issues the first day I drove it, and wouldn't even start within a few days. After getting stranded and several failed attempts to get it serviced (they had trouble accessing the warranty they sold me), I was told the problem was likely a recalled part. I specifically asked the salesman about this recall and he said it had been taken care of, so quite concerning that they either 1) lied or 2) don't have up-to-date info on their own cars. After some forceful phone conversations, I got a free oil change to "compensate" me for the hassle. The service center at their White Hall location was easy to work with, but it took a week to get the car back and it was dirty with an empty gas tank. No one from Dan Cava’s customer service followed up with me, otherwise I would have been willing to negotiate for not giving them bad reviews.

Dan Cava has the best service department around, hands down. They are fast, friendly, honest, and I trust them with my car. The inside is always as I left it and is never dirty plus they wash it after every service! I have purchased two vehicles from there and would never take my Toyota/Scion business elsewhere. I live closer to University Motors but make the drive to Fairmont due to the amazing experience I've had at Dan Cava.

This was only 1 of 2 dealers I've ever visited that was not pushy and rude. My salesman's name was Dionne (sp?). Everything they told me on the phone before visiting was true and they delivered on every verbal promise made to me. I had to wait a little when I got there because my salesman was in the midst of selling 2 cars at once (excluding me)...wow! They were extremely accomodating, polite and pleasant with me and my family. I have had my Prius C for exactly 1 year now and have had absolutely no problems or any issue of any kind. Dan Cavas gave me ~$450 off msrp, this was at the time when many dealers were adding up to +3k to their Prius C's calling it a dealer price adjustment and NO dealers were discounting at all. The service department is great! Timely and very professional. The waiting room is always filled with fresh coffee and snacks and relaxing to wait. They also wash the vehicle after service is completed.

Took my car for service and they didn't do it properly or offer an apology when it was pointed out. Had to take an extra day for it to be fixed and even then it wasn't done properly/correctly so it took more time to correct that. Also always double check when making appointments that all the services you required are listed (I requested multiple services when making my appointment and they only listed 1) It took 2 days for the maintenance to be done (Oil Filter change, wheel balance and checking alignment*) my car was off a little in the rear wheels but who can thrust when you have these type of experiences and managers don't even step in. Steve in parts is super kind though Dan Cava should pay him to teach advisors on how to treat and give clients a good experience. My recommendation for anyone is to verify the parts and services you paid for are done immediately after you receive your vehicle. Its the first time I have this bad experience in a Toyota or Lexus Dealer I'm so disappointed.

Doesn't appear to care for their presentation on used cars because they weren't detailed greatly and mostly dirty on the exterior and interior. And after spending about 10 minutes being highly visible looking around nobody ever came to try for a sale. Could be because they were closing in an hour and a half but that's no excuse.. I have called more than one time and either they haven't gotten back to me at all or they've taken a while to get back to me. I have yet to get them to work on my car and they are the only one in the area, which makes me think that maybe they don't feel enough competition to care. It'd be great if they actually did get back to me but so far I have not had any luck in the last phone call I left with them.

My Mother lives on a very steep Mountain in West Virginia and Mr. Dion Kerns took the time to explain to her the DAC Safety feature that comes on the Toyota Highlander. He drove her to a very steep hill behind the dealership and had her engage the DAC feature. She was sold on the feature that allows her to safely descend her mountain top home even when it is covered with a solid sheet of ice. We love Dion and highly recommend that when you visit ask to speak to Dion or call him on his Cell at (304) -612-4034. My Mom drove a School Bus for 30 years she knows when it comes to your children Safety features like the DAC are important.

I took my truck to get an oil change here yesterday, it needed a state inspection as well. They charged me $100 for the oil change and would not inspect because it has a 3 inch lift, that they didn't sell me. The lift wasn't the problem it's that is wasn't sold there. I bought two brand new vehicles there, yesterday was the last dollars I will ever spend a Dan Cava. University Toyota will now handle my oil changes from now since they charge $38 and will inspect my vehicle with no problems. Good job Service department you just screwed the sales department have a wonderful day.
