Dishonest! Quoted a ridiculous price for brakes, claiming I needed rotors among other parts. Not even a scratch on my rotors. Had brakes replaced elsewhere...no mention of rotors. Courtesy Shuttle is a joke! They will give you a ride to the mall...across the street. Scheduled for a extended warranty repair, dropped car off only to have to return as they didn't have the parts in stock for a repair that I scheduled. Unfortunately for Toyota, this dealership has ruined my Toyota experience. My last Toyota and I will never again recommend a Toyota or Advantage Toyota in Barboursville.

I went here for service, and while I haven't had any problems with getting an oil change or getting my car checked out they do take a very very very long time to get my service done. Like an appointment that should take half an hour at any other place would take an hour or two hours here. And they do not wash my car. Every other dealership I've been to would wash my car after I got service done.

Everyone who works for Advantage Toyota is friendly and helpful. There's never any pressure to buy a vehicle, but there is every courtesy extended while a potential buyer is browsing. The staff go out of their way to smooth the way and take care of any details within their range. Charlie even called my insurance company for me and gave them the details so I didn't have to handle that the next day. In my busy life that meant a lot to me. I've purchased several Camrys from Advantage and wouldn't think of dealing with anyone else.

Felt like quality service that I pay for, and not like I picked any local mechanic that works on everything, so doesn't know a lot about the car. I did not have to micro manage this time. I felt they checked things and did few more things that needed done that i did not have to figure out on my own. I believe it was Dave that worked on my car, and if i can, i would prefer he do every service i have done there. I cannot say i have felt that way on other visits or other techs. I was made aware each step and everything requested was addressed or considered.

I purchased my first Toyota here. I couldn't have been happier. I saw the car on their lot one night after they were closed. Contacted sales through their website, negotiated the price , and stared the credit process without having to go into the dealership. Got everything approved and went in to the dealership to sign the paperwork and accept delivery. Low pressure, friendly. Almost the antithesis of a car dealership. I don't know if everyone is as nice there, but I can personally recommend Matt Dunkle.

First time I went the service guy yelled at me and called my dumb for asking the same question when he kept changing the subject and avoiding the problem with my car. Everytime I have been there they have been beyond rude and if it wasn't for good experiences at other Toyota dealerships I would never buy Toyota. Also I live in Huntington and drive to Ashland,Ky or elsewhere to avoid advantage.

I was slightly disappointed to find out that I could not receive satellite capabilities after the purchase of the vehicle, buuuut that was a rookie mistake! We bought extended warranty with our Toyota. I have a leak on my passenger side front & before I realized I had a leak my middle row carpet was soaked. Got it dried & it got damp again. We made appt & it was checked & told all lines was clear & gave us the number of a guy that can find leaks. Now I wonder if it was still under the original warranty if it would have been dismissed so easily. We paid for what I'm wondering? How good is that extended warranty or is it the dealership I'm dealing with. Maybe need to go somewhere else.

He listened and didn't show me anything I clearly wasn't interested in purchasing. He explained all the features of my NEW HIGHLANDER. I was undecided between 2 and when I asked all the differences between them, I received a clear and knowledgeable explaination. I was amazed at how quickly the whole purchase process was handled. My only negative comment, is that Advantage Toyota in Huntington, WV could use some magazines that appeal to women. But that's only because my cell phone was on low battery.

I've had great experiences over the last ten years with my Highlander and Avalon purchases. Both of my cars are a little older now and I always know that my service appointments will include some education on why what happened, happened and how to prevent it - specifically my tire issues. Bill Tracy is a fantastic Service Manager <3 and I enjoy all the employees, really. I hear they are remodeling and I look forward to hanging during my service appointments with my coffee, iPad and just enjoying the appointment instead of watching the clock.

My experience with the 1st visit at Advantage Toyota was very disappointing and I'm trying to warn other people about this. I came here to get the oil service for my car because they have good reviews and I always think 'get oil changed at dealership is always better than at Walmart' but it was a big mistake. They must have very good reviews here but it's not for their service department which is big lie and rip off. I have always changed the oil for all of my cars but since it was too cold to work on my drive way in the cold of January so I took my car here this time after 400 mile trip back and forth to Louisville KY. The service tech has cross threaded my drain plug and had to install a rubber wing nut to cover it. After covering up they called me in to show me that some other mechanic has cross threaded my nut and suggested a new drain pan which quoted for $549 asap. I declined and told them I always do oil change myself and I had no single drip of oil when I brought the car in. They lied to me that the pan had been stripped and there was no oil when they removed the nut. That was a big lie as I just finished over 400 mile trip few days back. So I escalated to the manager and and he explained to me that he told them to do so. I asked him why he put some parts which I had to pay for without my consent and he explained he had to do that to get my car out of the service area. I believe that he tried to be nice and not as rude as the CS guy (his name's Doug I think) but still all the explanation made no sense to me. Long story short, they returned me the service fees and denied to fix my pan. Btw, to end my long review I found out they stole the Mobile 1 synthetic oil and oil filter that I brought in when replaced the oil pan a few weeks after. I furnished Bosch synthetic oil filter and they used black Toyota filter insead. Reason I brought them in because I just wanted to make sure they use same synthetic oil that I have used for all of my cars over the years and I always stock some of them at home. And, of course, they didn't return me for the wasted oil and filter when I replaced a new pan. If you go there to buy cars, it might be a good choice still. But if you go there for services please make sure keep your eyes out.

Matt Turley really did a great job setting both my wife and myself up in a new vehicle. I came in with my wife to help her look for a new vehicle, and during this process Matt worked out a deal for me that allowed me to get a new vehicle also, AND it saved me money. Due to the amount of equity I still had in my 2010 Rav4, I was able to drive off in a new 2016 Rav4, have Toyota send me a check for the equity I had built up, and lower my monthly payment and insurance costs!! I would consider the service department to be average. The service advisors are excellent. There have been small details missed by the service technicians on my last two visits. The windshield washer motor was not seated properly when reassembled by the tech. This caused my truck to leak windshield washer fluid in my garage for 2 days until I diagnosed and fixed the issue. My most recent trip, I noticed that a portion of the pads on top of the bumper were misaligned and in a bind after being tucked under the bed. I chose to re-manipulate the bumper pad and line everything up properly. I feel like if they can pay attention to the small details, their service department can go from average to great!

Service is good, just remember if you get a state vehicle inspection to make sure they put the new sticker on before you leave there. Just in case, keep your receipt to prove what services are paid for. So check everything before you leave the lot.
