READ BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!! Back in the beginning of April I decided to buy a truck. I went in to 405 and found a low mile f160 only 50k on her. Looked straight and clean. Picked it up drove it home got home and I smelled oil so I looked and it was wet on the underside of the engine that and I could hear a tick almost like an exhaust leak. I called and they said it was prob residual from when they changed the oil pan gasket. But to bring it in and they will clean it off. So I drove it back in. Btw I live 35 miles away. They cleaned it off and told me the tick in the engine bay was reverb from the muffler and it needed to be replaced. No biggie I already bought a flow master for it anyway. I put the flow master in still had the tick. Still had the oil smell and wetness. It also had a vibration in the rear that that I originally thought it was the super cheap tires they put on it but that was also a first upgrade and the vibration was still there so I paid to take it to Ford for a second opinion. Turns out the oil pan was still leaking. As well as the rear main seal, valve cover and timing cover. The rear wheel is warped causing the vibration they said the engine tick was internal which I already suspected. Not only that but they said my rear brakes were going to need to be replaced soon yet the inspection 405 showed me stated my brakes were at 80% still. Luckily it had dealer warranty so I dropped it off to them only 2 weeks after I got the truck on my way to head for vacation. I called them later that week and they said they were going to fix the oil leaks but not the warped wheel. I asked about the tick and was told that their tech said it was the muffler. I said that's funny as I already replaced the muffler and ford says it is internal. They said oh I'll have them look at it again. A few weeks into them having my truck they say the tick was from a spark plug and I can pick up the truck Monday. Monday comes I call them and am told that the plug backed itself out again and that it is a bent valve and needed a new engine. I'll said the truck is low miles and I don't want a salvage or used engine. I was told not to worry they will get a remanufactered engine. So now they have had the truck for a month and a half. And am told I will have my truck in time for the holiday weekend. The day I am planning to pick it up I am told the new engine is leaking oil from the head gasket and they need to possibly warranty that engine. They put me in a little 2006 crv (I bought a truck for my kids and my dogs) I ended up having to fix the aux power jack in it for our trip as it didn't work since they said they had a vw suv for me to use but after driving half way there they told me it had issues and I couldn't use it. After a few weeks of taking the head off and verifying it was bad at a machine shop they end up sending the engine out for the replacement one. I told them I was over it and they needed to make it right so they ended up running my credit (which I never authorized or signed anything authoring them to do it) and they asked if I would be able to put money down on a different truck. Fast forward to them having my truck for 2 1/2 months. The new engine comes in. They have me in this giant Toyota truck like I said I have a family and dogs and needed a truck. The truck had popping and clanking ball joints which I eventually took back to them do to the unsafe nature of it.

What i assume was the owner couldn't be bothered to get of his but and out in the lot and show us the car. After searching the lot and not finding the car we were interested in we headed back from the lot to the office. They finally brought the car up front. We got in to find no sealing panels and wires exposed everywhere, total junker. Not impressed.

I love this place and I HATE car shopping. I had a recommendation from friends that this place was worth going to and I'm very glad that I listened to them. I will absolutely buy my my next car from them Here's my advice for if it's the right place for you. Do not come here if: 1.You want the best possible price and you're willing to fight for it. This place does a no haggle price. The price is the price and for my experience, it was not the absolute cheapest. The cars I looked at were 500-1000 over the Kelly blue book "typical" listing price, but most were within the fair price range in Kelly blue book. You'll find cheaper prices elsewhere for sure (although whether they make up the difference in gauging and trickery and fees is a different question) 2. You want the bend over backwards for you to make the sale kind of selling or you want a lot of hand-holding to figure out which car you want. The workers here do not work on commission and mostly leave you to yourself and didnt really offer much guidance (to be fair I wasn't looking for much and some of the workers seemed to know about cars) 3. You don't want to buy a used car. Some of these negative reviews on here (definitely not all!) seem to have some expectations that I wouldn't have about a used car dealership. Not all the cars I looked at are ones I was sure were in great shape, but I made sure to look at all the info that I had, do a thorough test drive (one car didn't show issues until it was driving over 60 mph -- although in their defense when I told them they had one of their sales people take it out to confirm the issue and then reported they would bring it to their service department to be evaluated), reviewed the info, and brought it to a mechanic for an independent inspection. This doesn't mean, of course, that I can't still have problems with it, but if I do, it's not 405s fault. On the other hand, do come here if you find car shopping horrible and want somewhere fair, transparent, good-value, easy and non-sleazy . This was my whole process: I called and asked some questions about their dealership and the cars. The next day I showed up and looked at the cars in the lot at my own pace and then test drove the ones I chose when I wanted to. Then the next day I had them bring my favorite choice to an independent mechanic nearby for a pre-purchase inspection (at my own expense, of course). The mechanic said the car was great, I put down a $500 nonrefundable deposit to hold the car for 24 hours. I show up the next day, sign my name a few places and go through a process that involves zero tricks, zero last minute fees or dirtbaggery. Then I drive off in my new car. It was that easy. Thanks, 405 motors! I highly recommend it.

Warning they repaint cars in the back on dusty roads. I bought an Acura with clean car fax. Could not tell there was any damage. Upon first wash I noticed some debris in the paint and obvious sanding marks beneath paint on here metal. Too late to return car. Got an auto check report and sure enough accident reported. Buyer beware

Don't go out of their way to offer much assistance with vehicle! Also, lot is right next to a stone recycling company so ALL vehicles are covered with dust/rock. I had an appointment to look at vehicle and it was not even washed off! I inquired if a detail to vehicle would be provided if purchase was made and was told no.. Vehicle I was inquiring about also had broke/loose front bumper/grill head light held on by wire, and many other issues that were not listed in service inspection by lot. Gal at front office was very nice and helped with what she could.. but in my experience it definitely wasn't worth the drive for vehicles offered at lot.

Best car buying experience ever. I was almost to the point of using an online delivery dealership I was so sick and tired of going to dealerships and dealing with sales reps. Mariam (I apologize if I misspelled her name, I was given a business card and lost it) and her father (the finance/paperwork professional) were amazing to work with. I walked in around 5, and left with my new car around 7. No pressure to buy, no pressure to move forward, completely at your own pace. Easy to deal with, very accommodating, did not seem like the typical "used car salesman" dealership. I especially liked that they had snacks and food in the lobby for the customers. I had traveled pretty far to get the exact car I wanted, and didn't want to waste any time, and they helped me out with gas, knowing I had come from so far. Only reason I didn't give five stars, is there was construction going on at they main entrance, and the alternate route was pretty long/difficult to find. Recommend to anyone!

I thought I was going to be a happy costumer, as of running low on time and trying to get a bigger vehicle for my family I was kinda in a rush before my son was due. The day I got the car and was on the long way home the car did not wanna shift gear on the freeway although it was automatic like almost as if the transmission is going out! And til now that's still going on. When I got the car I did not look at the car and details like that since the car I bought was the make and model that I wanted I didn't care to check in the back but the seats were stained and dirty and less than having the car one month the headlights were dirty and foggy as hell if I drove through the night I wouldn't be able to see at all, and to top it off of course the vehicle had no warranty! When my bf and I seen this car on online it said it was for 1 thousand cheaper cause it was on sale, but the salesman told us it wasn't, but I still got the car. I regret coming here, and being in such a rush I should have took my time. But the guy that helped me out was nice only cool thing and how they didn't pressure you into buying.

Car shopping is usually a waste of time and stressful. It was a completely different experience here. From the time I walked in the door, I was greeted professionally by Tessa. No pressure sales as their staff doesn't work on commission. I get to take my own time at looking and test driving the car I was interested in. They even let me look at other vehicle on the lot. Best part is that Musavir was willing to give me a fair trade-in price for my vehicle, which was $2K over what Carter Subaru was willing to give me a day ago. Right when my family and I walked into 405 motors we were greeted right away by a woman named Tazmine. Her friendly attitude set a good tone for the visit. Every person we spoke with after that was extremely friendly as well and wasn't pushy at all. They give you the option to go out to the car lot by yourself to look for cars or have one of the salespeople come with to help you find what your looking for. Having the option to go by yourself was really nice because it made the process pressure and stress free. After finding a car we were helped by Tess. She helped us finalize the purchase and answered every question we had. If you want excellent customer service make sure to ask for her! Would recommend 405 Motors to anyone.

They have a nice selection of cars. Be careful though, they will sell you a salvaged title car at non-salvage title prices. A car's value is cut by at least 40% with a salvaged title. Be cautious as you may have trouble insuring and financing a salvaged title car.

Yesterday we bought a used SUV Forrester. We liked fact that the price was easily seen on the car. There was no pressure and we were able to look at the car and take it for a test drive. The sales person seemed very fair and informed. They have been in business for 9 years and I liked the fact that it wasn't fancy office. We were there about 2 hours and there was lots of business happening. We knew what we wanted and at this point we are very happy with our purchase. I think we made the right decision. I liked the ability to look at and test drive without a salesperson. The price is up front and fair off the bat and they don't negotiate. Of course it is buyer beware but do your carchecks (invest in a simple code reader) or have a mechanic check car like at any dealer. It has been a month to reflect and it was at least a four star experience that left me bragging to my family and friends about "The good deal I got".

Called 405 Mlotors Prior To making a 2 hour drive to look at a Acura MDX that I was very interested in, I asked the guy a few concerns I had that would prevent me from purchasing the car and I made it clear that I did not want to waste his time or mine if he could please be UPFRONT AMD HONEST! Just bought a car 2 days ago. 405 Motors staff were helpful and efficient. The car was in good shape. Went there at 3 pm and went back with the car at home around 5 pm. They engage themselves to send me a copy of the car inspection and they did it, they even accepted to do a small repair on a door. So for the moment everything looks good, I'll wait a couple of weeks to see how the car goes, if something goes wrong I'll update this review.

The price range quoted when I brought my car in for an estimate and arranged for the repair appointment was not honored when I brought the car in for the repair at the appointed time. After taking an afternoon off work to take my car for repair, the new offered price was 2-3 times the price range I was quoted. My boyfriend and I were at 405 Motors for a good three-four hours, test driving cars, talking to the sales representatives, and when it came down to actually going through with financing the car an hour in and being on our way, we ended up being hit with "Oh, the car that's out there is a branded title"... (Also to note, this isn't stated on the Car Fax and there are many other cars on the lot that are stated to be just that!). So instead of the sales representative telling us about the car being a branded title beforehand, ultimately halting the possible sale of the car because well, I don't have over 7K to buy it outright, and allowing us to choose another car from the lot or leave to go elsewhere, she goes on to give our information over to the finance guy. This ended up wasting our entire day, time, patience and developed much ill will for this company. Needless to say, this 1 star rating is too good for them.

I was disappointed in my experience before I even got to the lot. I inquired about a car I saw online and got a prompt reply. But I had a million errands to run and was hoping I could stop in this afternoon. The salesman puts me down for a time I can't make. Before I had a chance reply, while I'm out shopping for Christmas gifts, I get an e-mail and voicemail reminding me of my appointment, at a time I couldn't make and didn't agree to. Even after I told the salesman that time wouldn't work, I get another (automated, I know, but not less insulting) e-mail reminder for the same time. It all felt so pushy. I was planning on buying a car with cash and the one listed online had most of what I was looking for (a little overpriced, but I probably would've accepted it). Instead I wondered how they would pressure me when I got to the lot. It's something I'll never know.

I did not go through with the buying process as I was looking at a few cars for a friend. Any questions I had were answered clearly. I was able to easily and quickly go for a test drive. When ever I needed to talk to a someone I was able to do it quickly without waiting. The prices are reasonable on the cars at least the ones I was looking at. At no point during my visit was I pressured like most dealerships do. I do recommend that who ever details the cars doesn't use any dressing on the pedals as it makes them slippery and could be dangerous.

Sold me a $5700 sedan with 50k miles. Said nothing was wrong, some cosmetic damage but that's no big deal. 3 weeks later I get an inspection and it needs $1200 worth of work. Should I have gotten an inspection before I bought it? Yes. Either way, they neglected to tell me about the extra damage, now I have to pay $1200 out of pocket. Thanks for nothing. The truck needed a few things done to it so I negotiated a few fixes at no additional cost and Raff in the 405 service center was able to handle it effectively and effeciently. Great low pressure environment to buy a car. I bought a BMW 2004 325xi at a great price with no haggling involved. You can tell that the staff wants the best for you and wants to ensure you are happy with what you drive off the lot. They ensured all of my issues were addressed before I purchased. Although we identified a part of my car that needed to be fixed, they set up a date and time to meet with their mechanic before I put my signature on the paper. My issues was resolved quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend this place to buy a car.

Please spare yourself the trouble and do not buy a car here. I bought a car here, smooth process except for the fact that the car broke down on the highway on the way home. The clutch had magically "burned out". Sales manager had me have the car towed back to their shop. I paid for the tow thinking the repair would be part of their 30 day guarantee. It wasn't. I received a call asking if it was OK to repair the car (at my cost). They were going to charge me the full cost to repair after spending $10,000 on a car that went through their bogus 125 point inspection. Total scam. Sales managers did absolutely nothing to help the situation. For all of these reasons I recommend not buying here or even getting a repair done here as their "Guarantee" and "125 point inspection" mean absolutely nothing.

First, the experience I had buying my truck with I-405 Motors was excellent! I mentioned which truck I was interested in and they basically said go test drive it. No stressful haggling, no standard car dealership weird pressure. Today though, I need to explain just how awesome the service department is. I have had nothing but stellar interactions with everyone there. I went in this afternoon to pick up my truck from a normal oil change and Olly informed me that the mechanic had found a leak at the power steering pump. He explained that they would start the warranty process, and scheduled me for the replacement. Olly took the time to figure out what would work with my schedule and make sure they would have a free loaner car for me to use. He also wanted me to call immediately if I experienced any issues. It's 1 star everywhere else I've looked. wish I had done more research before choosing them to buy a car from. They did not perform the federally mandatory safety check upon receiving new inventory. As such I purchased a car in which the SRS features were disabled. Had I been in an accident my passengers and I could have been injured much more severely than I should have been had the SRS features been active. Downright criminal neglect. This review is just the tip of the iceberg involving my experience with them. Reported to the attorney General.

Set a time around 4:15 to come see it and drive it, also asked if there were any known michanical issues with the car and was told no and that it was a great little car. After spending an hour and a half driving to see this car, when we walked in we were informed that that car was no longer for sale, and the reason being is that there was a transmission issue. But no one would tell us what type of issue or how that was found. Very unprofessional and very rude

TLDR: excellent no pressure, no haggle place to find a used car if you know what you want. When I walked in, they asked me to take a walk around the lot and find something I like. The lot has a huge selection of vehicles, which they keep unlocked so you can checkout the interiors and exteriors of the cars. We liked a couple of cars and asked them to let us test drive them. They provided us the keys and let us take them out ourselves. There was no sales person accompanying us so we could comfortably experiment with different features of the car, with no one distracting us from running through our own checklist. After the test drives, I returned them the keys. There was no pressure to buy. I asked them some questions about the car which they replied. I wanted to get the vehicle inspected by a mechanic, which they agreed to. After the inspection I bought the car. The paper work and formalities were done quickly. Once again there was no pressure to go with their finance, insurance or extended warranty.

I went by to check out a Tesla Model S just on a whim as I'd seen it posted very recently. I initially didn't really want to go in to kick tires and get a hard sale from the sales people - however Tess was super nice, not pushy at all, let me check out whatever I wanted and test drive without hovering over/being out there all while still being nearby and ready for any questions when I had them. Finance - I provided my own but there is still the paperwork aspect with Bari was a breeze, super easy, nice guy and just made the entire process great. Will recommend to friends and family if the right car is up. Also - they can source cars if you're ever looking!

No Star. Waste of time. Inventory on the website is late. Sales person that tried to sell us the car does not have integrity of honoring promises. Cars are low quality that came from rental car fleets. These guys don't even inspect service them and are looking to take advantage of non-savvy buyers who is willing to bypass the inspection process. Not to mention the $1000 non-refundable deposit if you want to hold the car. Very non-professional. You're better off going to a well established legitimate car dealer.

I went to check out a car that was supposed to be ready to drive. With a delay, it came out of the service department with the passenger side mirror on the passenger seat. It was a manual that couldn’t shift into reverse, even with the tricks I knew to try. It had a check engine light too. One is the sales associates told me they reserve the right to raise the price listed if they do any work to the car. If you are not desperate for a vehicle when you come here, you will be able to tell if the car you are looking for has warning signs. They are no pressure, one prices dealer which is not a bad idea.

Great experience! Online information was stellar, so I had 90% of my questions answered before I even got to the dealership (very helpful since I was driving over 2 hours to see the car). I was greeted immediately, and directed to the car I was interested in. No pushy salesperson following me around, they just made it clear they were there to answer any questions and to let them know if I was interested in a test drive, then they let me take my time checking out the car as thoroughly as I wanted. This is a no haggle lot, so the price is the price is the price! I love not having to play the game. The cars are price below market and are great deals. Closing the deal was simple and quick plus their 30 day warranty and available extended warranties gave me confidence they weren't hiding anything under a steam cleaned engine or other nasty tricks I have experienced elsewhere. Bottom line... GREAT people, GREAT cars, GREAT deals. I will definitely make the 2 hour drive again if I find myself needing another lightly used car. Thanks 405 Motors! UPDATE: Felt like I should give an update. After 2 months of ownership and a thorough inspection by my own mechanic, STILL LOVE THIS PURCHASE! NO NASTY SURPRISES! In the past, I have had great experiences that ended up being nightmares just weeks after the purchase. In this case, the car just keeps getting better. We keep finding little things we didn't initially notice that just keep making this purchase a great deal.
