After one year of purchasing my Maxima from United Auto Wholesale, I have to sell it and find a new car. From day one the transmission was having issues and the problem was covered up each time we brought it back to get it fixed. My personal mechanic told me from the beginning the transmission was having problems but instead I purchased it. I should have went with my gut and look elsewhere...now I'm stuck with either paying $3500 for new transmission or buying a new car. Way to go United Auto Wholesales for selling me a lemon! Smdh

Spent six weeks trying to find best mix of condition/age/price at 7 other dealerships with no luck. Don't judge this gem by its' storefront cover!

The day I brought the car and drove of the lot ot over heated and I was stranded on side of interstate. They came to tow car and get fix. I trusted that there will be no more problems as time went I ended up taken the car back multiple times. I even had to buy a part that they did apply for free. Last year I had to replace a cracked radiator ($1200.00) This car has been nothing but problems for me since the day I brought it. Today the car is still over heating and now has issues with oil pressure. Thanks for the Lemon. Smh will never reccomend this place.

I was in search of a clean low mileage truck for use in my lawn care business to haul equipment. I shopped my local pre-owned dealers but couldn't nail down a reasonable deal. 4x4 pickups are high demand vehicles that command a premium price. Looking online I stumbled across United Auto Wholesalers. They had a nice selection of trucks in my mileage/price range. Upon speaking to the owner Adam on the phone he convinced me to make the trip to his dealership. I was greeted by him with a smile and handshake. We walked his lot and finally I found one that caught my attention. He arranged a test drive and it was love at first drive. It's like he knew exactly what I was looking for before I even contacted him. We went into his office to talk particulars and came I came out with a great deal on a really nice Ford truck. I failed to mention his professional sales staff and technicians! Great people to deal with! I bought an 04 Corolla that seems in great contition. Except a few days after I bought it the check engine light came on with an oxygen sensor code. I brought it back to see if they might replace the sensor. They checked the code and made arrangements to replace it before I even specifically asked. Great customer service, and it looks like other good cars in the lot.

I purchased a car from United Auto Wholesalers in July of 2018. The staff there were very friendly and helpful, and the car buying process was easy. Over the next year I experienced a myriad of technical difficulties that required several trips to a mechanic (I was living in a different part of the country). After moving back closer to where I had bought the car, I continued to struggle with technical difficulties with the car. I expressed my disapproval over the car on a review site. Within 24 hours, UAH called me up, apologizing for everything and offering to fix the car for me at a greatly reduced rate. They even towed it 45 minutes from where it was to their location, where their mechanics fixed several issues, including replacing the starter, an intake flap, and the motor for that flap. They spent well over $1,000 out of their pocket and countless man hours that could’ve been otherwise used for their business. Their representatives constantly kept me up to date on the progress of the car and told me there would be no charge for the parts or labor. When I went up to pick up the car, I was greeted with a handshake, a smile, and the keys to my working car which now had no issues. Before I left the lot, they once again made sure to tell me that should I encounter any other problems in the future that I should call them and that they would be more than happy to take care of me. I bought this car well under market value. It had 100k miles on it and was 10 years old when I bought it. I purchased no additional warranties on the car. And a year later, UAH was still there for me, helped me tremendously, and did all of it with a smile. There are countless used car dealerships in the Portsmouth/VA Beach area. But I can PROMISE you that no one will be able to match the level of professionalism and customer care that UAH provided for me. My only regret is that I can only give them five stars. Thanks again for everything. You guys rock.

i usually dont write a review for anything but, i bought at 2007 ford freestyle on st. patty's day of '17. I am in love with my purchase. I bought my vehicle straight cash. Looking for an upgrade from my 2003 jetta that one of their mechanics help replace a flat tire on. With this mechanics good deed that lead me to his shop and purchasing a SUV from them. Absoutely no problem with the vehicle. Had to replaced the battery about 3 months in and the vehicle will need new tires soon but, that was it. Even after the purchase mechanics were willing to maintain any maintenance needed on my vehicle. Tax time is coming again and i will be looking at them first for another suv! All the paperwork was ready and everything was credile. No problems at DMV. If you looking for a RELIABLE VEHICLE THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!

Bought a used BMW a few weeks ago. It’s a beautiful and in fantastic condition. We recently found that there is an oil pan gasket leak. I called Adam to let him know and Adam immediately told me to bring it in and they would fix it! No hesitation whatsoever even though it was a few weeks later!!! I purchased a 2009 Chevy Traverse from this dealership and was told it was in healthy working condition. It broke down after the first week. I took it back at my own expense and they replaced a coil pack and told me it was in great running condition. It broke down after a few more days from the same issue and I had to have it towed at my expense again to have them replace another coil pack. Again I was told it was in great running condition and I picked it up to have it brake down on me before I could get it home for the same issue. I had it towed again at my expense back to them, and received a call saying it was in great running condition. I picked it up and it broke down again after two days for the same issue. They did not provide me with a working vehicle, and I do not recommend this dealership unless you have plenty of money for towing fees and repairs that are not covered by the warranty they give.

Don't pass this dealership up! The small lot and inventory are deceiving. I think that they keep it small so they can really make sure they are selling quality cars. Hope, Sal, and Adam made sure to get my wife in the truck she has always wanted. We bought our truck about a week ago and love it. I was in for a shock when Adam called me today and told me to bring the truck in to have running boards put on for free! I could go on and on but all we can say is go visit United for a great vehicle at a great price with superb service!
