Tried to sell me a vehicle with a fresh safety inspection decal put on a few days earlier despite the following problems: tires dry rotted and had 0 - 2mm left on the inside and outside of the rear tires, broken rear spring, both running lights on trunk hatch were out, both license plate lights were out, wiper blades needed replacing. Any of these items should have been enough for it to fail inspection so it seems pretty suspicious that it had a fresh inspection sticker. I might have been willing to overlook all this if Autoline had fixed it all but the reason I walked away was that they tried to tell me the residue on the rear bumper was just left over from salt and road spray. It was actually Bondo dust from repairs for an undisclosed accident not reported on the CarFax report. Also, they tried to get me to agree to buy the vehicle BEFORE they would fix all this stuff. Way too many red flags.

The overall experience of selecting a car, having an unforeseen issue develop and getting the issue resolved by working alongside the team at Autoline VA broke the stereotype of a ‘used car lot or salesman’. Reading another review I noticed the phrase, ‘I seldom write reviews’….that statement is worth repeating as I don’t either but I promised Brian I’d write a review if he fixed the issue I found just 48 hours after purchasing a car from him. The one owner Carfax checked out, the car was very clean (high miles but well maintained) and Brian’s guys checked the car over before putting it up for sale. I can’t blame them for not realizing that the fuel tank sensor wasn’t working properly but I was pretty upset when my daughter broke down on the side of the road (ran out of gas but didn’t realize it was a gas issue) just two days after purchasing the car because the ‘fuel range’ said she had 40 miles left and the reserve light did not come on. It’s easy to think that a used car dealer should know every unforeseen issue with every car but that’s being unrealistic as it was undetectable. The only person who knew this was an issue was the person who traded the car in thinking their gas tank reserve issue will be fixed by someone else! I took the car to the dealer and put it on their computer but the issue did not show up. I took it back to Brian and his team and through patience, diagnosis, some good old mechanic work and great customer service they fixed the issue. I can’t say enough for the integrity, honesty and good will that Brian displayed during this past month. A well-deserved review. No used car is perfect but there are many that are in great shape and Brian and Autoline do a great job minimizing issues and resolving problems. I’ll buy another car from this dealer.

Good lord that was easy. We drove further than we'd wanted to simply because we found the car we thought we wanted on their site, worked with their team via text to arrange a time, and got it done. Interestingly, the car we thought we wanted wasn't quite what we were looking for. They found us the perfect car in its place. Hi I went here to buy the BMW X1. They first told me that they give 6 moth warranty for free. However, they can not negotiate price if we are financing. I was okay with that. But when we started talking numbers, they abruptly came up with 8.99 percent interest rate for financing. Every other place, especially certified BMW dealers, we were getting 3-4% interest rate. Anyhow, I asked if they can reduce the rate and he started arguing that its 6 in the evening and he has to call state farm and see if they are open. They really wanted us to close he deal at 8.99/ But I told him that I can not, so he went to his manager office and told me somehow he could reduce the rate to 4.99 only with $500 down payment. I told him we are getting 4 % interest rate and I want at least that. Also, now suddenly I had to buy approx $1300 car warranty for year (which was free before) as mandated by the bank. At that point his manager came in and he started to show me calculations. At that point I realized that they were making up interest rate because they wanted to earn more profit, the warranty wasn't mandatory and wanted to earn $1300 more forcing me to close the deal. The whole experience at the end of the day felt like I was being cheated from the beginning. I did not end up buying the car though I really liked it.

This isn't the place for first time buyers. I have great credit and needed to get a car before I go back to work/ school in the fall. I worked with Hazan and he was fine but never gave the full story as we were going through the process. All hell broke loose when we got down to getting my finances taken care of with the bank. They couldn't keep their story straight about what they needed from me. I was told last night by Hazan and Fredie that it's a done deal and I can bring home the car today because last night the finance person and the rest of the team wouldn't stay and finish up the paperwork. Also Hazan lies and said they left but saw them standing outside. But then came out and told us they still needed to speak to the bank, and again changed their story. Today I call and they say that the bank needs to verify my employment which were given proof of. But then changed the story and said to come down sign the papers, take the car home and if the bank couldn't verify my employment they would ask me to bring the car back. However when we first pulled my credit score they made it seem like it was all a go like they did last night before I left. Hazan tried to get us to leave a $500 deposit in order to hold the car but we didn't give them the money. I bet a lot of other people may have had better experiences with this dealership but their not as helpful as they make it seem. We spent the entire day there just to leave frustrated and empty handed with no real answer. Hopefully they get better customer service because they are seriously lacking in that department. Below is text messages from Hazan clearly telling me I could come and pick the car up today after sending that I called and wanted an answer about why we couldn’t take it home last night. The rest of the conversation happened over the phone and in person. I was just sent a text threatening to report me for providing "false information". As you can see below because I hung up on Tony he's trying to scare me into coming and complying with their demands. He said on the phone that I didn't have to buy the car and that's exactly what I'm doing. I was told to provide a job letter by Hazan and the finance manager and have proof of that too. I was also told by Hazan to provide the amount I will be making at my job for this year. I have emails and texts from my employer as well to prove that I didn't just write it up myself. Jokes on them! As you can see they are trying to do damage control by posting fake reviews from friends after I posted mine. Spoke to the FTC and reported this business for their actions & trying to get me to sign papers before getting the banks approval. Which absolutely no other dealership would do. Trying to upload the texts but for some reason not posting. *If anyone was wondering I bought a car from another dealership the same week this happened*

Went to look at a truck which was listed for $12,392. Before arriving at the dealer we settled on a price at $12,700 out the door (out the door should include tag, taxes, title). The safety inspection was done recently but upon test driving in 4WD you could here the CV boot bearings grinding away at each other and after a visual inspection, the clip to hold the grease in the CV boot was gone and grease was absolutely everywhere. They did not want to fix this unless I put a deposit down. But with a fresh safety inspect and which that should not have passed a safety inspection, who knows what else was wrong. Following day, they offered to fix it and asked if I wanted to put a deposit down. I asked if the agreed upon $12,700 OTD was still on the table including tags, taxes, title. He told me NO, $12,700 does NOT include tag, taxes, title. Now I was expecting a no because of the repairs on the CV boot... So at the list price of $12,392, they wanted $12,700 on top of processing fees, tags, taxes and title. I believe this business is getting under the table safety inspections and trying to take money from folks that may not do their research.

U brought a 2004 Mercedes in March 2019. Once we got it home we smelled gas fumes but thought the gas tank was overfilled . We continued to smell the fumes on and off. We took it to a repair shop and 1000 later it was the fuel line and a few other problems. We asked for assistance with this repair and was denied even though it was under wa5but of course the warranty didn't cover this repair. I emailed the manager of the service but was ignored. Would not Reccomend this dealership!

The way he explains every detail of the car and the way he makes you feel that you have arrived at the best place to buy a car. he assured me that He doesn’t sell cars have issues. January 2019 i was looking for a new car, thru past experiences with dealing with dealership I was terrified. Bryan came to mind I went back to him and purchased a car upgrade from Nissan to Cadillac!!. When left I first time i had put gas in my tank, I was rushing I didn’t shut the gas lid tight , driving down the engine light came on , I freaked out!! I called him and he said bring it back to see what was wrong I he told me to stop by his dealership and assured me it was something small because he tests all the cars before he sells them went there and he found out it was just a gas tank lid that gas tank I didn’t shut tight which brought the engine light, Car didn’t have any issues it drove perfect, he took care of it with one phone call. I just bought my 3rd car with him because he knows how to take care of a customer. nice. Sep 2019 I was looking at his website and I saw one car that I wanted I called him up and he said we can trade in my Cadillac. Yup I got my Mercedes!! Couldn’t be happier. I will forever buy my cars from him because I know what I’m getting. AND NO I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO BIG DEALERSHIP AGAIN!!, AND NO don’t believe negative reviews from here . I feel very scammed and taken advantage of by this company did not disclose everything with the vehicle including the dents all along my driver door from where someone locked there keys in also left some type of metal box attached to the underneath of my seat where my bar to adjust my seats should be. If I were to get into a serious accident one of the giant bolts could rupture a main artery In my leg they won’t remove the box I also bought the car on March 28th and took it home and the clutch broke not wear and tear broke about 3 days ago and they said it wasn’t covered in my warranty and now I have $2,000 in repairs which was more then my down payment. They knew it was my first time buying a car and that my budget wasn’t very big and took advantage of that. SCAM ARTISTS SCREW THESE PEOPLE.

This is the absolute worst car dealership in the world, read all of the 1 stars as they are 100% accurate and all seem to have the same things in common and responses from the dealership .... I never write reviews, good or bad, but what initially started out a great experience with Autoline turned into a bit of a nightmare and I feel like it’s my consumer responsibility to share this with anyone who would consider buying a car from them. We bought a used Honda Fit remotely from NJ for my daughter for high school graduation. Car seemed great: one owner car fax, no accidents, and Autoline was really nice. I asked them if the car had any problems that we should be aware of. They said no, perfect condition just some minor scratches. They took the car through state inspection for us, and took it for a pre-sale inspection at the local Honda dealership. Presale inspection checked out ok from the Honda dealership. Then the car arrived. It was missing three lug nuts, the cap to the wind shield wiper fluid, had a steering problem with a loose bar of some kind in the front axil, and an extension cord wire attached to the battery, and the air conditioner wasn’t working. I called the sales person at Autoline quite upset and he swore to me that he drove the car around and the air conditioning was fine and the steering was fine. He didn’t know about the other stuff and the manager would call. No one called back. I also reached a manager at the Honda dealership. They apologized, took responsibility for botching the inspection, and refunded the inspection money. They basically didn’t inspect the car at all, and Autoline also told me it had no major problems, both wrong. He said that if the car was local they would have fixed it. But it wasn’t local, so I asked him for some compensation to help fix it here. When we were buying the car, I got so much niceties about taking care of their out of state customers, I really thought they would help a little with this! At this point the air conditioner was going to cost $700. He got very short, tried to hang up on me several times, and never got back to me. That was May. We were traveling, so we are just getting back to fixing the car for my daughter to take to college. Today it turned out that the compressor was also completely shot. So the air conditioning problem will now cost $1300 minimum now. That’s going to be close to $2000 worth of problems that Autoline said didn’t exist when specifically asked. When I talked to the manager, he basically said it was buyer beware and they didn’t have to tell me. But do they get to outright lie when asked directly? Also, the car was also advertised as having Bluetooth. It does not. First day, I went to verify in the listing and it was already down. That listing also described the condition of the car. Usually these listings stay up forever after the cars are sold, so this was weird. I thought that I was very careful and did what I was supposed to in asking questions, getting inspections, getting car fax reports. Later I found an article on escrowing money for things like this, which I will definitely do in the future. I still put this on Autoline. We live in a time of customer service, honesty, and online reviews. I have to say that everyone at Autoline was super nice until we had this major problem and needed them to make it right. They did not. If Autoline reaches out and makes a good faith effort to solve this somehow, I will happily modify or withdraw this review. Until then, like they said, buyer beware. Update 7/21: The comment below is also misleading. As soon I posted manager got in touch, while nothing before for 2 months. I asked to split the repair bill as I did the first time. He sent links to eBay aftermarket parts, not local auto store. Said this was a $300 fix and I wasted my money. Offered $200 to resolve problem then upped to $300 but was very irritable. I sent research showing legitimate repair and part prices and caution about eBay parts. I have not accepted or declined the money offer but never heard back except for comment below. Adding picture of old compressor with huge leak. Condenser was the same but don't have picture. All mechanics here agree it could not have been working before delivery.
