I have had possibly the worst experience ever at the dealership. My VW GTI broke within 2 days and then broke again about 5 days later on i95. I've contacted them numerous times about the issues along with sending emails of the parts that failed. First it was a thermostat then it was a water pump. The thermostat wasn't a big job, took a out 2.5hrs but the water pump was a 8hr job of me dropping the engine 6inches on a Jack stand to access the water pump and finding out a hex bolt had been previously striped. They seemed to have cared at the beginning of this issue but then after time has passed and I continued to contact them about said issues they could care less about returning a phone call. Take your business elsewhere, you'll thank me later.

My son and I were treated by a small family team of friendly and helpful gentlemen who, never once used high pressure tactics. They wouldn't even take our $500 deposit because they trusted us to return later; complete with loan documents, to purchase the car we we're showing interest in... A used Subaru Impreza WRX. I sent my son in with the cash as we were leaving to pick up the loan docs but they wouldn't take it which shocked me. I can add that, unlike normal, large-scale dealerships, where the experience is very different, I will be back to do business with this company. Bought the car I always wanted from here at an amazing price and with quality customer service. There was never any pressure to buy and no cheap sales tactics used to sell the car. The car was listed as having a backup camera but ended up not having one so to amend the issue Shaw and his team agreed to install a backup camera for me without any labor costs. These guys really try to make sure you have a great buying experience and I can't recommend them enough for anyone in the market for a car.

All I can say is that I took a major lost today. Went to go look at a 2006 E55 AMG they had, it looked amazing and pictures and carfax was clean, No accident report and only 2 owners. The vehicle is for sale for 11,999 and they were willing to work with me for 10,500 out the door. I was pressured to give them a deposit on the vehicle if I wasn't going to give them my deposit right there and then i would lose that ability to purchase the vehicle at 10,500. So i gave them a deposit without seeing the vehicle. I flew from california Bay Area to see and purchase the vehicle. When I came and saw it, I was surprised and disappointed. The whole front end of the vehicle has been repainted as well as the rear bumper. It had all different color of silver. Also when staring up the vehicle belt was squeaking like crazy till it warmed up, valve covers were leaking oil, rear main seal is leaking oil as well and has some cheap tires on a 500hp vehicle. I spoke with the manager and asked him why he did not tell me in what condition this vehicle was, he simply told me he didn't know about it and not a lot of people are "picky / car enthusiast" as me. I was so upset I asked if I could at least get my deposit back since i spent $800 on the plane ticket. He said No. I said "ok that's fine" ill take the lost, but i would like everyone to know that if these people can screw you over they will. They won't even tell me about the condition these vehicle was in. Luckily i work on these vehicle for a living, if it was a regular person with zero knowledge about vehicles they would surely get them to buy it and not tell them about the conditions of the vehicle. Hope this helps someone out in the future. P.S. thank you for the ride back to the airport.

Great group of people, honest, straight forward and willing to work with you. From the second I walked in the door Hector and the rest of the employee's answered all my questions and treated me like family. They did a full diagnostic check up on the vehicle I was looking at and replaced the oldest most prone to fail parts before I even negotiated the price. They go above and beyond most places just looking to get the car out of the door and really want the car you purchase from them to last you a long time. I drove my car over 700 miles to Florida within the first week I had owned it and the ride could not have been smoother. As far as used cars go 100% of them have character to them but they are upfront about the condition and don't leave any guessing games. I had no credit so loan options were more difficult then I was expecting but they didn't bat an eye, try to charge me more or rush me. Overall I could not be more happy with the honest group of guys I met in a dishonest business. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

WARNING-have vehicle inspected by a mechanic before you purchase from Alliance Auto Group. I bought a Ford Raptor from Alliance Auto Group in September 2018. I took it to the Ford service center a few days after the purchase and they informed me that I needed to replace both lower ball joints and that the heater didn't work on the driver side of the vehicle. The ball joints cost a little over $1000. I didn't have them fix the heater. Even after replacing the ball joints, the truck rode very rough. I've put about 2000 miles on the truck since I bought it. Last week, the ride got so rough that I couldn't drive the truck over about 45mph due to intense shaking. I took it onto a shop to have the tires balanced and the alignment done. The guys at the shop asked me for the lug nut key to get the lug nuts off. I realized that Alliance hadn't provided the key, so I reached out to see if they still had it. Alliance let me know that they had several lug nut keys at the dealership that they had forgotten to include when people purchased from them. I asked if I could come by to take a look and they didn't respond, so I had to have the shop cut the lug nuts off the truck. This cost $150. Once the shop cut the lug nuts off, they tried to balance the tires. The shop was unable to balance the tires because Alliance had put cheap, remolded tires on the truck. Remolded tires are used tires that have had some rubber added. The shop explained that the remolded tires would not balance and that they would be dangerous to drive on. They recommended that I purchase new tires asap ($1500). They also informed me that the engine is misfiring and that the truck is leaking transmission fluid. Once I found out how many problems there were, I reached out to Alliance to see if they would help with any of the repairs or help me get safe tires. The sales rep rushed me off the phone and said he would "look into it." That was a few days ago and I haven't heard anything. Meanwhile, the truck is unsafe to drive...

This was my very first time ever buying a vehicle at age 19. I was very particular on what I wanted and they had it. I flew from Wisconsin to Virginia and by time I got there, Shevan was waiting there for me at the airport WITH MY JEEP, letting me get behind the wheel and drive it back to their neatly organized and well ran shop. I live in Maine and recently bought a 2015 Mini Cooper S. I had searched high and low and found it with all the options. I had to fly down and drive it back. Marisa and Chevan were fantastic throughout, answering ALL my questions about the features of the car. They even picked me up at the Airport on the big day. Sadly, the Brake light came on not 100 miles into the drive back, indicating the back break pads needed replacing. Needless to say I was furious. When I got back I learned how to check the vehicle information on the menu, and the front brakes were coming due in 800 miles. I strongly believed (and still do) those should have been caught during the grand inspection and taken care of before I bought. Seems silly to spend that much on a car and have to drop another 1200 on both sets of brakes so soon. I had a challenging discussion with the GM Sha who was initially defensive and said it was still under warranty (which brakes and tires are not). I said he needed to make this right. I had it looked at and got the quote to him. Amazing the difference of how much we pay for parts (and LABOR!) at a garage, and how much they pay direct from whatever secret source they use. So in the end he agreed to pay for the back, I paid for the front (technically not due yet when purchased) at his cost, he paid for the shipping, and I had to pay the labor. It wasn't ideal to say the least, but I realized everyone has to do brakes at some point and it was my turn, even though I would have thought I would be exempt from ANY repairs so soon after a purchase. Should never of happened, and I see how worse others have had it, but in the end we both chipped in and he made It sort of right.

I drove 10 hours from SC to look at and ultimately purchase a car that Alliance Auto had in their inventory. I'd been shopping this particular model for some time and knew I wouldn't find one locally, but I was only willing to travel that distance because of the high ratings Alliance had earned from previous customers and also because they took the time to thoroughly answer each question I had about the vehicle in question beforehand. There also happened to be one other low mileage model of the same car close by, but Alliance Auto's offer was so competitive and the car they had easily met all of my expectations, that I decided to look no further. Their entire team was very personable and a pleasure to work with, including after sales service with some minor parts that they agreed to provide after the sale. A great experience overall - I would not hesitate to make the long drive to work with them again.

Worst experience/mistake I've made yet. Drove up from Richmond to trade my 2010 Rav 4 for an Audi 2008 A3. Stupid me. Theyre all friendly at first and the car looked pretty and the test drive seemed to go well, despite the technician looking nervous in the front seat. Ultimately an unrich single mother was taken advantage of- severely. Firstly the owner didnt give me a dime off the sticker price but also tried to pocket my last car payment, until I pointed it out. Drove off the lot with car passenger seat vibrating, which didn't happen during the test drive. Turned out the tires were severely warped and that was a fresh 700 out of my pockets immediately. I learned this is extremely unsafe for me and my 4 year old. I didn't know how to inspect for such a thing, just expected to be sold a solid ride. 1 week after the trade, the check engine light came and stayed on. I called, expressing concern, and their solution was for me to drive it back up there to have it evaluated by them, offering to work on it, at cost to me. I work night shift at the hospital, hardly having the time or energy to drive 2 hours out of my way for unanticipated repairs on a car purchased a week earlier. Despite professionally diagnosis and repairs in Richmond, the check engine light stayed on. All 4 spark plugs, ignition coils, and even the top valve cover gasket were replaced. Also the car continued leaking oil. In restrospect, I should've believed my hunch, should've known my purchasing rights, and turned back around immediately to take it back at the first sign of something not right. I'm sure Audis are nice cars if you have money and purchase one with low miles. Typical used car selfishness I've been warned about but was ignorant anyways. My bad...ended having to purchase a more reliable car 4 months after signing the paper work.

Nothing bad to say about these guys. Being about 6 hours away from the dealership I was not able to physically be there during the purchasing process, but Sha and Johnny did whatever they could to make this process easier. They took the car to a nearby dealership of my choice to do the PPI as well as held the car for a few extra days just to detail it and make it look like new. Buying a car out of state is a daunting task, but Alliance definitely made an effort to make this process as easy as they can!
