I love my new (used) car! It's super clean and runs great. Took it to my mechanic and he said it was in awesome shape, just as the dealership said. Jake was very helpful and not at all pushy. The finance manager was great, too. He didn't try to talk me into a warranty I didn't need. There was no pressure to buy but we got to a fair price that we both felt good about. I definitely recommend working with these guys!

I went in to get an appraisal for my car... While someone was helping me (I wish I remembered his name) they went on Kelly blue book and put in my cars' info to calculate the value. Though, the entire time he had his screen turned away from me. Once he filled out everything I told him he finally turned his iPad towards me and showed a price a FEW THOUSAND dollars less than when I put everything into the SAME site! He then continued to try to lease me a car after I had told him SEVERAL times I am not interested nor would I ever lease a car. I told him I don't even live in the state anymore! Why would I lease a car here?! He was relentless and put so much pressure on me to do a deal that day that I just left and will NEVER be back.

I may not have gotten exactly what I wanted but I got what fit my budget and would put me in a better position than the car I had. They literally did everything they could and came in with a deal I couldn’t pass up. We ordered our Subaru Outback in January. Walt our salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful, the ordering process quick and easy. We received our Outback yesterday after a long wait, which was by all means well worth it and could not be happier. Again Walt was a great help in walking us through the process and the car specs. I highly recommend Rutland Subaru! I have the unfortunate/ fortunate (depend how you look at it) task of buying two used Subaru's from Rutland Auto group. My first one I purchased in Nov. 2018. LOVED IT! Recently, I was in a car accident, and need to new vehicle. I ended up buying the exact same make/model 2016 Subaru Premium. Crosstrek. Both times, the cars looked brand new upon purchase. I contacted Jake from Rutland Subaru about purchasing yet another Subaru due to the car accident. He was extremely helpful and caring about the whole ordeal. He made the frustrating experience of car shopping twice in 6 months very calming. He even went out of his way to pick me up at the rental car shop in Rutland when I was ready to purchase/pick up the 2nd Subaru (I was running over 30 minutes late- did not make me feel guilty at all). Jake's style is approachable and not overwhelming! Keep it up! Thank you Jake!

I live in Boston and came up to visit family in my hometown of Rutland. I stopped by Subaru on a Saturday to browse the inventory, accompanied by my father. I looked at new and used Forester's, test drove both, and ended up taking a 2015 Subaru Forester Premium for a 2nd test drive that day and made a decision to purchase it. They held it for me until Monday when I had more time go through all the paperwork. I got a great deal on the car and it was Sara's first sell since she's new there! She was extremely kind, patient, and sincere. I also met and dealt with a few other employees of Rutland Subaru that day - all were extremely helpful. I wasn't prepared to buy a car when I walked into Rutland Subaru, but I saw the car that fits me, and the team helped me get it done - I was also in a time crunch. I'm so happy things worked out, I'm back in Boston now with my Subaru, and I love it. Clearly, I would recommend Rutland Subaru.

From pre-ordering the car, to keeping me in the loop on the car's ETA, scheduling a trip down to test drive and answer ALL my questions was excellent and resulted to me driving off the lot with my new Ascent that I LOVE! Driving the extra distance to Rutland Subaru was worth it, the customer service I received was so refreshing. My girlfriend and I bought 2012 forester from these guys less than two years ago for 17000.00 dollars. With all the extras. Come inspection time this year they fail the car due to exhaust issue. 1400.00 was the bid to fix. My girl said no. We then took it to another well known inspection station. Not only did it pass but when i asked about the exhaust they told me there's nothing wrong with it period. I can only assume that they seen her coming without a ring on her hand and looking single. Thinking we can get this girl. I'm glad my girl is no dummy. And to Kinney Subaru you lost our trust and business. To all the ladies out there leg hou dad or man bring your car there if needed. It's a shame in the world we live in now days. That a company will take advantage of a girl. Really scummy of you guys. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Had an oddball occurrence with my Forester that caused months of frustration but Rutland Subaru came through rather unbelievably of late, such a kind decent caring bunch. Buy a car from Todd K. and have Chris P. organize your service...such good men, decent and straightforward and smart, and Kelly P. too! All quite trustworthy and caring and skilled. Highly recommend this joint, for buying or service, feel lucky to be able to go to them, Vermonters and others are fortunate to have this remarkable team.

I have never written a google review before, but feel compelled to based upon the incredible service I received from Brian and the team at Rutland Subaru. I had purchased a 2014 Outback from the same dealership a little over 3 months earlier. Through bad luck (no fault of the dealership), my power steering went. Since I am normally skeptical of dealerships, I brought the car to my regular garage, who diagnosed the car as needing a new power steering rack ($>1000 job). I decided to give the dealership a call to see if they could help. Despite not being under any warranty, Brian immediately offered to cover the job as a "voluntary, gratuitous, and goodwill" service. They correctly identified the issue as needing a new power steering pump. They gave me a loaner car to use, which I didn't need as long as expected because they finished the job early. To top it all off, they fixed an upcoming recall on the passenger side air bag that I had not even received notification about yet. I have completely changed my opinion of dealerships based upon the service I received from Brian and the team. Thank you! If I lived a bit closer, I would go their for all routine service. When it comes time to getting our next car someday, I will definitely be choosing Rutland Subaru.

I came into Subaru of Rutland after checking out a few other dealerships and not loving the cars being offered or the deals being presented. I had a great experience that started from my initial phone call. I started my experience on the phone with Deanna who was extremely friendly, no pressure, but optimistic about getting me into a vehicle. Upon arriving to the dealership I was linked up with the Salesman, Chris. Chris was also extremely friendly, professional and set on getting me into a SAFE, affordable lease. After we decided on a car, did a test ride, and worked on some paperwork, David in finance worked some numbers for me. I was coming in asking for a miracle with my situation, and the Rutland Subaru team gave me a great deal that worked for my circumstance. I just leased a 2018 CrossTrek from Rutland Subaru and had a great experience. I had contacted Subaru dealerships throughout Vermont and New York and hit a brick wall negotiating with the two dealers offering the lowest prices (I walked out on my local dealership twice—and they didn’t come after me). I asked Rutland Subaru pitch me their best deal and after a couple rounds of negotiating, they offered a lower monthly payment than their competitors, as well as agreed to pay my disposition fee to Nissan (where I previously leased). I enjoyed working with Deanna, who was prompt and courteous and helped coordinate my pickup. I retrieved my vehicle on March 31, and despite the end-of-month chaos, I left the dealership in under two hours. The business manager, Jared, was nice and didn’t strong-arm me into unnecessary maintenance plans. Jake, the salesperson who helped finalize the other details, was also great to work with. Overall, I was impressed with their service—and I love my new car!

While on vacation in the Rutland area from NJ, I heard a squealing sound from the rear tire of my Outback. I called Subaru and immediately was offered help and a cause, a stone lodged in my brake rotor. Both service consultants, Brian and Rich, were super nice and helpful and because I did not have the time for the brake to be taken apart, they assured me that driving home the next day would be safe. I cannot thank them enough and also Kate at reception who quickly put through my calls. This dealership was extremely nice and generous in time and expertise to a Subaru owner who was not a client.
