As an out of state student attending one of the colleges in Burlington, I have never been to Heritage Toyota before. Every time my car needed to be looked at Heritage couldn't get me in. However, Heritage got me in before anyone else could for a very simple repair. Yes, my appointment was at 7:30am but, my service manager was super personable, and I was in and out in less than an hour! Great experience!

Cannot recommend; Too many instances where service was sneaky or done without their explaining their actions. I paid for 5 year prepaid service plan and dealer scheduled unnecessary (5K) interim oils changes I had to pay cash for, sketchy diagnostics to turn off check engine light that THEY WERE SUPPOSED to turn off after annual inspections, more. This dealership still uses old dealer service tricks to extract $$ from clients. I am surprised that Toyota corp allows this behavior.

As a Toyota sales person at another dealership I was nothing less than STUNNED at the level of service provided by Heritage. I utilized them for the purpose of a rental vehicle on my most recent trip to Vermont and Megan and Jessica in the rental department FAR exceeded my wildest expectations of service and hospitality and that is truly refreshing. While car dealerships often have a bad reputation that precedes them, Heritage clearly has a wonderful outstanding standard for service and that is truly rare in this industry!

They worked with me to drop my vehicle off to be serviced over the weekend and pick up while they were closed which was super helpful. I was super bummed though when I heard it would be $75 for an oil change! I thought my car was covered under prepaid Toyota care but I guess there was a limit of services. I also realized after I picked up my car that my inspection is past due. I know that is something I should have noticed but it would have been awesome if Toyota had caught that and offered the service while they had my car for the day. Lastly, the representative who contacted me about my car texted me and asked me for my credit card info to pay for the oil change. When taking a form of payment, making a phone call seems more appropriate.

My Rav4 has been to Heritage a couple of times in the past month and the team at Heritage Service has been phenomenal each time. After my vehicle was serviced and inspected there was a horrible smell that had found it's way into the main part of the car. I was convinced it was something to do with the muffler/exhaust system. They tore apart my car to help me find out what exactly was wrong with it and for that I am incredibly appreciative and grateful for them helping to pin point where it was coming from. The team is Excellent. My only gripe is the prices; but if the kind of service you get is them going out of their way to locate a problem, which is not something you get from others, well then I can understand the costs being what they are.

The Dealer once again tried to correct the excessive shifting issue with my 2017 Tacoma truck. No luck. Heritage has done everything they can, the problem appears to be Toyota’s design that doesn’t work well in the hilly terrain of Vermont. The Heritage staff was top notch, particularly Dana Lawrence. She’s the BEST.

This was my 1st experience with Heritage Toyota Service. My 5000 mile maintenance appointment was scheduled for after 2p.m., so I dropped off my car around 7 a.m. planning to pick it up after work. I drove right into the sparkling clean shop where I was met by a polite young man who checked me in, directed me to the very nice, clean, grease-free lounge, where I made myself a FREE cup of coffee while I waited for the shuttle. I was dropped off right at my office building. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call later that morning letting me know my car was ready for pick up and asking if I needed the shuttle again. I didn’t but I wouldn’t have felt like I was putting anyone out if I had.

They were all great. They determined that when I got tires recently, at a different establishment, they had broken one of the valve stem and sensor and had replaced with an after market product that didn’t work and didn’t tell us. Once we got it approved by that other company’s corporate, TOYOTA replaced it with the correct valve stem and sensor and took direct payment from that company. So as a result I was able to get it done that day and not have to schedule another appointment and also didn’t have to pay for it and wait for reimbursement. Dana at the front desk was awesome!

The only reason this location (car dealership) is getting many 5 reviews is because of the brand of cars they sell. Toyota is the most reliable car you can get, and mostly people are referring to the cars they are buying in their reviews. Beyond that, this location is horrible. I will be honest and I will add my first review of my life, as I have not reviewed a business before. The manager was nice, but the sale personals, consultants, and other staff were the most horrible, rude, disrespectful people I have ever met, especially Nick. Nick didn't say anything on my first phone call and he hung up on me while I notified him about my visiting time. Also, he rudely greeted me without even looking at me and transferred me to another sale person who was way worse than him. They treated me like a monkey trying to get a free treat. I went to buy a Toyota and to be honest I got a very special deal on the price, and my parents came with me just to see the car with me, and they were confused I didn't take the car in this price. Actually my parents advised me to buy a new one. I WAS ABLE to pay full amount in cash but after this treatment, I decided to not buy anything from them and I made excuses just to get out. I was going to do business with good amount of cash and they seem they couldn't care less. The woman also was rude, who we first talked to when we got there. I am a musician and an engineer and that explains how many people I have met in my life. I haven't been to a similar experience before. Leave the car aside, you guys lost my business. Never again at this location. I felt sorry to myself going there. I hope the management will see this to know that their staff members are looking down to people, and they treat the customers without dignity as if they are getting the vehicles for free. Be aware folks, you will ruin your mood/day if you go there. I hope this will help you.

I really only go here because I bought my car here so they give you free state inspections (which is very nice). However the last time I was here, I needed an air filter replaced- so it took about two hours, which is ok since they needed to get the part. However, they never actually replaced the part! So I had to go back down to south Burlington later that day just so they could actually put in the part they charged me for, but forgot to actually put in- luckily it worked out that I was already in that area, but it’s kind of a pain to drive down there when I live and work about 30-60 minutes away.

I was ready to close the deal, but because of the backlog of buyers, they couldn't process my purchase in time for me to make an appointment. I thought three hours would have been sufficient. Worked with Patrick Weeks on a deal for my daughter. She and I went in because Patrick had contacted her about a "today and today only" deal on a used car. Sat down and worked out a deal to include a smooth return of her leased vehicle and a bottom line price. Patrick and I shook on the deal. I had to leave early for an appointment. Immediately after I left, my daughter was told there would be an additional fee of $360 dollars (disposition fee?) and because of a tiny ding in the returned car there would be another $200 involved upon return. Patrick had looked at the returned car before I left and assured me things would be fine. He, also being a experienced sales person, must have known about the disposition fee. Bottom Line - we shook on a deal and as soon as I was out of the building - the deal changed. NEVER AGAIN will any of my family use Heritage for service or sales. Apparently you can't trust a handshake there,,,,

Had an awesome experience! I had an appointment and did not wait even a minute. Drove right in and was greeted instantly with a friendly professional greeting, complimented on having paperwork ready, and felt like a quality customer! I fully expected to have missed my first free oil change however I was still provided it even though a substantial amount of miles over, and a free inspection/rotation. Even though these are free services I still was treated exceptionally well and an excellent overall experience. Heritage has always worked hard to provide top notch service and the sales, and community programs they are involved in are also top notch. I wish I could remember the service advisors name but I have yet to have a bad experience. A quick tip though is it is best to make an appointment as they are busy! I love my Corolla and Eleni, Patrick, Rob, Mark, Chuck and the rest of the sales team!

Went in to get a recall fixed (wasn't spending any money) and they gave me a complimentary wash (my car was in a sad state)! One issue with the electrical after replacing the airbag, but they fixed it immediately. Very nice and efficient!

However even with a 15 dollar coupon it was like 65-70 bucks just to change tires which is slightly more than places without a coupon, so not competitive. I arrived to the dealer with some idea of what I wanted from the other dealer I had visited before. I knew that Heritage would have the selection and experienced personnel to help me make a decision on a great investment. I ended up taking a couple trucks out for a spin with Jason Dillon to make sure I had the right fit and from there we narrowed down what my options were. After that we discussed the financial side of things and with the help of Ryan Denecker we were able to agree on an appropriate plan of action for moving forward with a new Tacoma. Finishing the paperwork was a breeze with Josh Cousino and from there all I needed was to swap the tools and toolbox from my trade-in to the new truck. Jason helped me get settled in the new rig and took the time to run through all of the options that the truck has to offer which saved me a lot of trial and error and looking up how to use certain functions in the manual. I am pleased that this team works so well together and are able to assist people in the vehicle purchasing process to the extent that they did with me.

I knew what I wanted when I went there but Patrick made it very easy to quickly jump into the truck and get me out the door before noon. While working in sales myself I know the job can be stressful and hectic but Pat made it happen with a positive attitude, great guy and great business!

Frustrated with Heritage to say the least...My wife and I purchased a certified 2015 Tacoma DCLB from Heritage almost a year ago. Our salesman at the time, John Treichler, was great to work with and we thought we ended up with the right truck for us. We need a truck for our business and had to upgrade from a 08 Tacoma standard cab due to the birth of our daughter. We loved that 08 (purchased from Heritage) as it was a great truck with minimal issues except regular maintenance. We never had it serviced at Heritage except for a couple recall issues and that is likely why we had such a positive experience with that truck. Long story short, from day one our truck has had a vibration/shudder/shake that after months and many visits to service is still there. Andrew, the shop foreman, has driven it with me twice and each time he told me the vibration is not normal, but Heritage claims it is normal. There has been no explanation as to why the truck does this and despite a couple attempts at diagnosing it, the issue persists and appears to be getting worse. I have kept in touch with our salesman , JT, and he has tried to advocate for us. I have explained my level of frustration to him and he put me in touch with the general manager of Heritage. We had an encouraging conversation during which he said he would look into in and then get back to me the next day. That was over a month ago and I have heard nothing from him. I have left him several voice messages and none have been returned. So, here we are with a truck with a consistent vibration that appears to be getting worse that is supposedly normal but is apparently inexplicable by Heritage or Toyota. I can't in good conscience sell this truck knowing it has this issue despite the fact that at this point I would be happy to be done with it. Perhaps a Chevy or Ford would be a better option. I'm sure Heritage would be happy to sell us a different truck at our expense but that is not a viable option given our situation. I have invested a significant amount of time and energy over the last year trying to sort this issue out with Heritage and Toyota and to this point there has been no recognition of this by either. We are beginning to explore our other legal options as it would appear that Heritage is not concerned about our experience or keeping us as customers.

Went here on Friday afternoon in search for a new vehicle. Very open to any options, trying to see what's out there and trying to commit to a purchase ASAP. Met with Chuck Spinner. He was very rude. Was not paying attention to us as we were discussing vehicles. Told us if we wanted a decent option we should plan to put $10k down. This is completely unheard of. This discouraged us very much. It's a shame as Toyota was my first option and first go to. Would not recommend anyone to visit this location. Would discourage anyone from using Chuck Spinner as a sales representative.

We had an appt. for a recall service. We brought the car in at 8AM. and were told that it could take most of the day but the work would be done as soon as they could. We had another vehicle so we didn't need a rental, although it was offered tour. The car was ready in much less time than we thought. Besides doing the recall work, they checked the car from top to bottom and made sure we had no other issues. I knew we needed a new wiper for the back window and they asked if I wanted it replaced at that time. Couldn't ask for any better service anywhere.

I have had my vehicle serviced at Heritage for years. In fact, all three of my most recent cars have been serviced at Heritage and never a problem. However, recently I had my car serviced at Heritage and the technician didn’t tighten the lug nuts properly on one of my wheels. This caused a serious failure. I spoke to Kate the service manager who was very accommodating and reimbursed me for a tow and repair at another facility. Yes, Heritage made a mistake, but they corrected it and have been very professional in resolving this issue. I would recommend them to anyone, and I will continue to have my car serviced there.

Customer service / Aftercare / customer satisfaction mean absolutely nothing to these people. I bought a RAV4 2 months ago and there was condensation in the tail light the day I bought it. My mechanic (that I trust completely and does fantastic work) told me that the car is uninspectable like that and Heritage has done nothing but argue with me and refuse to fix it. There have been several other small issues that have arisen since my purchase and Heritage refuses to take ownership or help me out in any way. To the point where they wouldn't even offer me a loaner or a deal on a rental when I had to have my car towed to them. The one good thing that I can say about Heritage Toyota is that there is a gentleman named Tom that works in the service center and he is wonderful at his job. Very thorough and cares about his customers. Overall, I will NEVER buy another vehicle from this place or reccomend them to anyone. I get free inspections for the life of my vehicle and I would rather pay someone else to do it than go back and deal with these people ever again.

Kindly rescheduled me twice due a conflict, vert prompt and courteous service. However, not directly related to service, I have asked service, Toyota financial services and the sales department; regarding my interaction at the time of purchase and in subsequent conversations with all of the entities mentioned above. I was told my Hybrid had a GPS navigation system, this in fact was a lie, I have an opportunity if I have a smart phone and a strong signal to access an inferior map program, this is not the robust navigation system I was led to believe the vehicle possed. I want my vehicle to have a state of the art satellite based navigation system, similar to what I had on my last three Honda Accords. It is extraordinarily discourteous and unprofessional that my vehicle was misrepresented to me and in addition after discussing this with various Toyota entities. NO ONE HAS OFFERED ME A REMEDY..THIS is ENOUGH TO BE A DEAL BREAKER BETWEEN TOYOTA AND I HAVING A FUTURE RELATIONSHIP. Is there a chance someone in the Toyota organization will respond to me and resolve my concerns?
