Took my Pathfinder for a scheduled service and to address a serious brake vibration issue which has persisted for several months, even prior to the first service. Also asked for the Key Fob battery to be changed. I was charged for caliper cleaning, which I believe should all have been covered under warranty. Furthermore, the key Fob battery was never changed. Finally, the unit needed it's annual inspection and I forgot to mention it, they didn't check this either, so now I have to re-schedule to get the inspection and key fob battery replaced. I expected more from this facility. UPDATE - 30 minutes after posting this, I got a call from the owner of Freedom Nissan, on a Sunday evening to offer to address my issue. This is outstanding customer service and definitely the kind of dealership I would continue to support. We all make mistakes and he was very much interested in making good on the above!! OUTSTANDING.

Was in South Burlington this morning, and my car has had an off again and on again rattle. Of course, it wasn't there when I went into freedom Nissan. But, I have to say Jeremy in service was awesome. They took me quickly, checked out the vehicle,, couldn't reproduce the rattle by test driving, and found nothing loose underneath when up on the lift. Kudos to Freedom Nissan for caring enough for a traveler a long way from home

For starters we go in and work with Art which started out fine. We got into the car we talked about but was not 100% on it however no other options were given to us! He made sure to add that next time we need to make an appointment to see him even tho I emailed him a few days prior. We were told the car has 13 miles which ended up being 40 and it was checked over giving up a half a tank of gas and little did we know a broken spray nozzle till this day is still not fixed. Got a call a week later from Chris promising free gift cards and gas card if we take the survey. My husband works 50-70 hours a week and didn’t have time as Chris instructed “wanted to be on the phone while he took the survey”. So he told Chris that the spray nozzle is not working he told him to bring it in he would fill our car with gas and give him a loaner so when my husband shows up the day of our appointment on his lunch break gets an attitude from Chris stating that “he took the survey wrong and failed the dealership and that’s why he should have stayed on the phone with him to do the survey”. My husband told him that he gave the dealership all 10s but Chris told him he missed a section. Which forfeited any gift cards or gas cards. Was told that they would call us when the spray nozzle came in. We have yet to hear from anyone. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone for their terrible customer service. Poor management, sneakiness and lies. We were going to return for a second car in the next few months but not going to happen. I’d rather walk.

I had a issue with the truck and when I called the dealership they got me right in and quickly repaired the problem. It's my second vehicle from them and I am more than happy!

I bought the maintenance package with my lease. I brought the car in for its 15,000 mile service and whenever I'm there, I always double-check to make sure the service is covered in the maintenance package. I was surprised to find out that the cabin air filter is not included. This is basic maintenance! I was even more surprised when I was told that the service cost $60. The part costs next to nothing and there's little to no labor time that goes into it, so $60 seems very high. I'll buy the filter for $6.00 and do it myself. But I shouldn't have to. I also expected the interior floor to be vacuumed. The exterior was washed which is nice, but the vacuuming would go a long way for customer satisfaction. Most dealers do this, and even the Oil N Go I go to for tire changes vacuums. It's a little thing, but an important thing.

NEVER purchase a used vehicle from this dealership. I got a 2010 Subaru Impreza for nearly $10,000 that had near 100,000 miles. I've only had it for a little over a year and the motor gave out. Now I'm stuck trying to find another vehicle/motor while still owing $7000. They did not seem to care in the least bit and couldn't help me. I also had issues with it a week after taking it home which they fixed because luckily those issues happened before the 30 day warranty was up. I'm also having to replace the brakes and rotors which were on the list of things they supposedly "replaced."

First off, there was only one person to acknowledge my presence as I walked in 5 minutes prior. I was showed cars far out of my price range and test drove a car that sounded gosh awful. I bought my 2016 Nissan Rogue here with some film of some sort on my headlight and my license plate was held on with one bolt when it was presented to me. I went back the following week to have them fix it and when that happened they cleaned my car (I didn't mind) instead putting all of my belongings in a bin. I had to wait another 20 minutes to have my license plate put back on and find out they couldn't do anything about the film. That was fine. What really upset me was the week after that, I checked my glove box for papers that I needed and come to find out, they were gone. My registration and I OWE YOU from them were taken. I don't enjoy the service I've received there and am now regretting buying my rogue from them. My wish for them is to simply be fair over greedy with their sales and not to lie about sales.

In all my years, I have not encountered a business as unprofessional and non responsive as Freedom Nissan. At best, I was given the run around and sent repeated mixed messages - at worst, I was lied to and am now being punished for taking my business elsewhere. The short story - for now - is that I tried consistently for 8 months to redo a lease with Nissan and was unable to come to anything close to a deal. All in all, I spent an incredible number of hours trying to make a deal work with Nissan - I would be told to come in due to a great new deal and then told to wait because that made more sense. I was yelled at (multiple times) by an owner when I would say I couldn't take a deal (even when the salesperson had told me to wait for a different deal). I spent over 5 hours alone in the showroom working with people trying to get a deal done (not to mention all the texts, calls, and emails). I eventually handed in a car that was over 8,000 miles under the agreed miles and yet I am receiving a huge bill from them for the car. When I handed it in they said it was in "great condition" - which it was and now this. I reached out to the group that the bill came from and they directed me to work with the dealership...which I have been trying to do. I have sent repeated messages where I have specific details of conversations, text messages, and emails outlining the entire experience, contradictions, and inaccuracies; yet I have heard nothing back from them. Perhaps it is time for me to go through the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

I went shopping for a new car June 2018 going to every single dealership in Burlington, South Burlington, and Williston. No one was willing to work with me. I even had a different dealership trick me into coming in, thinking they had a deal for me. Tried to sell me a car older than the one I was driving, for more than the one I was driving. I was infuriated. Finally came to Freedom Nissan and worked with Jake Spear. He got me a car I wanted. Fast forward to a year and was in a terrible accident and the car I had purchased then was totaled. I came back to Freedom Nissan and worked with Michael Burrell. He was completely amazing, I didn’t feel like he was trying to cheat me, trick me, or scam me. Him I really got along! Seemed liked he was working for my best interests. Doing all that he could to make sure I could go home in a brand-new car. They ended up not having the one I originally wanted (just a standard trim level Altima, all-wheel drive, just a low payment). Ended up getting me into a trim level higher for a great price and I love the car to pieces. Really felt like I got about everything I wanted in a car. Now as I drive around, I feel like I’m in a beautiful car with a load of awesome features. Not to mention a fantastic color!!! I came back to Nissan because of their “Nissan Intelligent Mobility” features, snazzy looking vehicles, and as a father of two with full hands the push to open, push to start, felt absolutely necessary to me. Their safety features insured that I got away from the accident with me life. I spent a trip to Montpelier in the passenger seat as I recovered looking at other car manufacturers comparable model, and I just couldn’t get over how much I love the Nissan Altima. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good experience and a fantastic safe vehicle!

I went here with some cars I had seen online in my mind. The first day they showed me cars that I did not like and then at the end I found one I thought I would lile to think about. The second day another salesman showed me another car I really liked we came in to negotiate over the price. The sales man was giving us the prices, suddenly some one else took his place and talked to me in that regard. He came up with an offer I really liked, and asked me if I was definitely going to buy the car with that price once I show that to mechanic. So he said I could have the car over night and show it to mechanic and come in the next day to make it work. I brought the car to a mechanic I knew and I paid $35 (which became a waste of money). I decided that I wanted the car. I got back there with my mind made up since they had given me an offer. We were three friends, non of my friends brought another car, because we went there to buy a car and we were sure about it. Once we started to talk to them, that second guy totally changed what he had given me as an offer and went so up in terms of price, he almost doubled the down payment and increased the term. We had to negotiate for about two hours just because that man was not honest the day before. We did not make the purchase after all, because I had held my end of the bargain, but the dealership did not. The annoying thing was not the price for me, it was how dihonest he was and how he changed what he had offered me.

UPDATE: Mort, the owner of the dealership went above and beyond to attempt to regain my trust in this establishment. While I'm frustrated that it took so long to reach even the beginning of a resolution, I am impressed at what hoops he jumped through to make the resolution as painless as possible for me. ------------------------------------ "Where Service is King" couldn't be further from the truth with this dealership. I bought my car from Freedom Nissan on July 31st. To their credit - I love my car! It was a decent price, but the sales process was... average at best. Pushy tactics, purposefully slow "let me check with my manager" interactions designed to wear me out. Oh well. One of the more unusual portions of my experience was that when we went to test drive the vehicle I was interested in (and ended up purchasing), one of the tires was nearly flat! My sales person filled the tire up and we were off. It was mentioned that "I'll make sure our people will take care of that slow leak for you". The morning after I bought the car, I had to run to a gas station to fill the tire with air. "No big deal" I thought - I knew I had to bring my trade-in's title into the dealership, so I'd bug someone about it then. When I brought my title in, I mentioned the issue to the gentleman I gave it to. He advised that I text the sales person I worked with - so I did! He responded quickly: "I will talk to our service department and get back to you!" 48 hours passed and I heard nothing! At this point I am filling up my tire with air every morning and afternoon. I texted the sales person a picture of my almost completely deflated tire and told him that it was getting worse, and asked if there was any progress... another 48 hours and again, no response. Finally, he responded: "I'm going to talk to the service manager, I'll have him give you a shout!" It has now been almost four full days since then, and I have heard nothing from Freedom Nissan except the texts represented in this review since buying my car. What's funny is that I talked to both my sales person (Jake) and another employee at Freedom Nissan about people leaving 1-Star Reviews on Google. From both people I heard "Oh, yeah, those people just want free stuff. It's obnoxious." Well, here's the truth: Folks are leaving 1-Star reviews on this listing because this dealership is unresponsive and obviously far beyond their capacity in the customer service department. I will not be returning here, as they stopped caring about me and my safety even before they pocketed my money. Freedom Nissan - Let Freedom Ring where Sales are King!

I walked into Freedom not really knowing what to expect. I've been to many other dealerships in the past, spending 5-8 hours negotiating between the salesperson, sales manager and the finance department. You know the drill. I was pleasantly shocked when my entire purchase took less than 3 hours from stepping into the showroom to driving out of the parking lot with my new car. The entire process was painless and nonsense free, even with less than stellar credit. Art Lucia was truly a pleasure to deal with. When the first car I looked at wouldn't fit within my budget, he kept working with me until we found something that did. No high pressure tactics, no hiding the keys to my trade in, none of that baloney. I would highly recommend Freedom Nissan and Art to anyone looking to buy a new or used car.

This dealership may be fine overall. The inventory seemed good online and in the lot. However, the salesman we ended up working with caused us to walk away after seeing only one car. After we told him what we were looking for and our budget and even suggested two cars that we had seen online and on the lot, he had to talk to another employee to see what was available. I found his lack of knowledge of the inventory offputting. He then showed us the one car he got information on, but didn't even know the price. He threw out a guess that was nearly $3000 over what I found on the website. He then went to see about some other cars, walking too fast for us to keep up (I a disabled vet with a bad knee). He didn't even look over his shoulder to see if we were still with him. I sat at his desk to wait for him. When he came back, he walked passed me without a word, just tossed some keys on his desk and kept walking. He did stop to talk to someone else, however. That's when I decided to leave. I left a note on his desk that we would not be buying from him and he still had the nerve to call about the cars he had for us. He didn't have time for us when we were at the dealerahip, but he expects us to make the time to drive back? He clearly does not know what good customer service is.

What really bother me was I bought a versa couple years ago said 10,995 online extremely basic roll down windows basic model. I gave 3 thousand cash I ended up with a loan 15,995 add that 3000 that's 19, 995 Anyways I found the pink slip which show a DMV sale for 10,178 SO what happend to my 3000 cash and why did they boost the loan to over 16k Will be reporting this to DMV And FTC.

We were shopping for a new EV. The first time we stopped by, we didn’t have much time. The salesperson Andrew gave us some information and his card, telling us when he’d be there that weekend. We went back a few days later, around the time the salesperson said he’d be there. Turns out he wasn’t in the office until later. We were greeted by a different salesperson instead. During the 2 and a half hours we spent talking to him, he never offered us a seat. Each time he had to go into the back office to check something, it always took him a good 15-20 minutes for a simple answer (that’s why we stayed there for so long). It felt like he was intentionally being slow as he never returned with information worth taking that much time. In the end, he tried to push for the sale when we were not ready to make a decision yet. When we said we were not ready, he pressured for the reasons. Good dealerships don’t give customers pressure to buy. The whole experience made me not wanting to step into this dealership ever again. We bought a car from another dealership instead.

I stopped in the other day to look at the new Nissan Maxima. Andrew, a younger salesperson employed there, gretted me. Through the entire hour spent there he kept pushing me for all my contact information and was very impatient with me. I had to leave and return 3 times because they were taking so long to process paperwork and spent a grand total of 8 hours just waiting around at the dealership after choosing my car. On the second day I didn't get home until 11pm and missed all of dinner and bed time with my kids. The employees were incredibly inconsiderate of my time and need to move the process along quickly so I could go home to my two small children. I also told them not to run a hard pull credit check since I would be financing through my credit union, but they did anyway (5 hard pulls which negatively affected your credit) and got roped into financing through them in the end. Disrespectful.

Terrible. The service is terrible. My car is less than 2 years old and has been having all sorts of problems. First they needed to rebuild part of the transmission (which took 8 days) and now my car simply wouldn’t start after running into the store for 10 min. The manager is completely unsympathetic and non responsive. They love to say they have no loaners so surprise!! No car to get home for the night. Good luck trying to reach anyone above this sub par manager- they are certainly unreachable. Oh- and every issue is blamed on Nissan Corporate. As if they hold zero responsibility for maintaining good service and customer satisfaction. I wonder what they think will happen when my lease is up next year. Um... yeah I’ll be going somewhere else.

Most competitive pricing in the Burlington area! I brought my car to Freedom Nissan for my seasonal winter summer tire swap and my tires were shot. The Service Technicians recommended replacing the tires. They offered a set, but my husband wanted Michelin X-Ice Winter tires. I called every tire store in the Burlington area for pricing: including Costco, Amazon and Sears. The price quote on the tires from the Freedom Nissan Service Center beat the prices from anywhere else! They offer a courtesy shuttle service, so I did not have to take time off work to have this done. Every person I spoke to or dealt with was above and beyond professional and courteous. And I love that they washed my car!!! Thank you Freedom Nissan Service Center for another in a series of great experiences. Went over yesterday to look a t a particular vehicle. Had to wait while the salesman found the keys that someone else had. When we were finally walking out to do a test drive we were told that there were possible transmission issues so naturally I said I'll pass. He then offers one a model year newer that was the same price. My fiance and I test drove it and loved it. We told him we wanted it but the check engine light had to be addressed first. He said it would go in this morning (Saturday) to get taken care of and would call when its ready. I get the call around 11AM, however it was to inform me that they went ahead and sold the car to someone else the same day we said we would take it once it was fixed.

Let’s start off with i have bought 3 cars from freedom Nissan and had a great experience. The last time I went on 20 September I met with a salesman who took my info and we went for a test drive. He was between me and another customer so just this took a bit. But being busy happens. Anyhow I tell him I have to go back to work. He tells me ok I will call you in a few hours. Never calls back. I go in on 21st and he is off, which again ok. I ask for my registration for my trade in back, no one can help. They tell me on the 22nd he will call me. He calls and says again I will get back to you in 30 minutes. Never call back again. If a deal can’t happen that’s ok, don’t blow me off. And how about my registration back?

I’ll let you decide if this was a good experience... -Submitted a request on their website with the exact cars (yes 2) I was interested in and the detailed information on the 2 cars I wanted to trade and requested estimates on price, financing options and approximate trade values... 3 days later no response -I then followed up by phone, talked to guy who said he could see my website request and was unsure why no one responded but that he would do some research and get back to me with the hour... 2 days later no response. -They literally had the exact 2 cars I was interested in for me and my wife so I decided to follow up again via a call and again apologies on why no one called me back as promised. -I asked if we could schedule a time to come in and get my two cars appraised as that was an important factor for me. I further asked if I would be able to get an accurate appraisal that day to which I was told yes. -The next morning my wife I cleaned up our cars and then we showed up at the agreed upon time to find the salesmen was not there yet. Waited 20 minutes for him to show I up. I gave them the keys and I was told the technicians would look at the cars while we took the cars for a test drive. -On the test drive of the first car the salesmen provided little to know information about the car despite me asking basic questions. He basically stared out the window the whole time and was awkward at best. -We made back to the dealership and then the sales guy disappeared without comment. He showed up about 10 minutes later and said he had another customer that he had to deal with but to take second car out on our own. -The second car smelled like cigarettes, we weren’t interested in that one at this point but did really like the first car. -Back at the dealership we waited AGAIN... remember we made an appointment. Oh and our cars clearly hadn’t moved and thus weren’t being inspected by a technician as promised for an appraisal. -30 minutes later the sales guy shows back up. I told him we weren’t interested in the second car but did really like the first car. I asked if they had appraised the cars yet to which he said they don’t do that until a deal is made... Um that’s why we were there and that’s what we were promised would happen. -I asked what he could do on the price of the car and he responded with “I can only talk about price of the car if I commit to buying a car that day”... how can I know if I’m going to buy a car if I don’t know the price and I don’t know what they’re willing to give me for my trade? -We went back and forth for a while about the fact that we made an appointment, no appraisal of our cars as promised and then no price because we wouldn’t agree to saying we would buy a car that day without knowing the price... what kind of BS high pressure tactic is that? -At this point it’s clear I’m aggravated and feel lied to so the owner comes over. Needless to say he was just about as used less and even more of an unprofessional. Bottom line, we didn’t buy a car that day... Does this sound like a place I should recommend you buy a car?

I left 3 voicemails to schedule an appointment which were never returned. When I finally reached someone, I was able to make an appointment for a recall service on the airbags in my car. When I got my car back, there was a horrendous noise coming from the exhaust, and they told me I needed over $1700 in parts alone to fix what wasn't broken to begin with. I also did not receive a copy of their much touted "multi-point inspection" that would have detailed needed repairs. I've now been waiting 2 days for a call back after leaving a voice mail for Jeremy, the service manager. Now I remember why I use my local mechanic rather than the dealership.

2017 June, I have visited Freedom Nissan Burlington to find out how much my car worth. At 2016 summer I bought Nissan Quest 2014 from them, Freedom Nissan with $20 K I paid. In this visit, the lady was not in charge as far as I understood and she was working like a messenger to the owner's room to her cubicle. And directing his (owners) question to me, such as how much I want, I do not know how much my car worth after a year, and was really not nice this kind of communication. Since this treatment to her and to me is unacceptable, I was talking with manager via her as a postman. And later she said, he will pay your Nissan Quest $9K, that means, get the hell out of here, message. I wanted to talk him in person, he came with an attitude, I told him you should not treat your customer like this, this is not nice, he said to me "I am the customer now, you are the seller now, I don't want to buy your car", and repeated this several time, and said "there are bunch of Nissan Quest out there, to be sold", I got frozen, that moment, I understood whom I am dealing with. Last year when I was there I was a customer and did not behave like that. Such a customer experience was really made me upset. Nissan is over, this is my last Nissan. People are not deserved such a treatment, and also Nissan should not let this kind of people represent them, even this could be owner of that institution.
