Ryan and Dave in service are great. Their new service manager Pat trainer is GARBAGE. They inspected my vehicle and hand to change a couple parts. Next it had to get towed and brought back to the shop the next day, for errors on their end and now they are trying to charge me crazy prices for a $50 part plus a tow. This is not the first time I’ve ran in to issues with my vehicle going in to their shop and coming out with more problems then when it went it. UNFORTUNATELY I have given them the benifit of the doubt and they continue to screw me over. Don’t buy a car from them and if you do make sure you have someone else look at it and never have them fix anything on the vehicle or do the inspection. Total let down.

Bought a vehicle they had done the brakes on before selling. A brake caliper fell off while braking after only 60 miles. The service dept is impossible to get a hold of. Then had transmission problems while under warranty. They couldn't find the problem. It turned out to be related to a bad alternator that wasn't supplying proper voltage. I replaced the battery and alternator myself because it totally failed and low and behold all my transmission problems went away. They would not make good on the repair. There were also many other small problems that all added up to a horrible buying experience. I do not recommend this dealer in any way shape or form.

Super disappointed to find out Berlin City has been telling me my Check Engine light was showing an error, when in fact they knew it was my thermostat. They waited until I had it checked some place else to tell me the issue. Apparently this is their policy, to tell the customer 3 times that it’s an error and then fix the issue. Sounds pretty unbelievable, except it was told to us by the manager. To make matters worse, they told us days after they stopped servicing fiat. After three cars purchased and 16 years of service I will never go back to, or recommend Berlin City.

Terrible for inspections. Took over 3 weeks to get car inspected as they were always "understaffed" and couldn't get to it. Had to get a loaner car from them because they took my apart and I couldn't go elsewhere. Was originally quoted 500 dollars but was given a surprise bill of over 1000 dollars. Would not recommend

I can only write about the device Dept as I never got a car there. They are pretty awesome because they do state inspections for free. However if you actually get any work done on your vehicle, be aware that they have 0 follow up. They were supposed to call us when the cars were done and they never did. We dropped of my car first for inspection and oil change. We went home. They were supposed to call when it was done which was supposed to be 1030 but they never called. Finally a little after 11i just showed up and it wasn't done yet. 10-15 min later it was done and I left my husband's truck to get inspection. Again they never called. So we showed up a little after it was supposed to be done and it was. Ended up needing some work done. We left it to get fixed. Next day they never called to let us know it was done. I called around 2pm and was told it was done. They were supposed to call my husband (right away) to arrange payment and pick up, and by 3:30 still no call so he had to call them. It's fine if they can't call everyone all the time, but at least tell us that they may not be able to call and that we should be calling to check in. Other then that everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable too.

It is rare that I give a glowing review of services, as I believe there is always room for improvements. I am equally skeptical of reviews that have perfect scores with less than desirable justifications from the authors. My partner and I bought a Kia Sportage recently, and we signed the deal not entirely because of the car. There were many cars on the market that we had our eyes on, but what convinced us to sign the dotted line was our experience with our Representative. Jay Simon's gentle and personable approach to helping us find the ideal vehicle that fits our needs is both effective and most appreciated. He listened to understand and to uncover what truly matters to us when it comes to functionalities rather than to distort the reality of what we "need" by ringing all the bells and whistles. Any early signs of the latter would have sent us elsewhere. He cares about his clients; this is clear through the genuine connection he was able to make with us in a short amount of time. This perfect rating is a reflection of Jay Simon's professionalism, dedication, thoughtfulness, kindness, and attentiveness. By association, Berlin City Kia of Vermont has also earned itself a perfect rating from us. If Mr. Simon is the kind of professionals Kia is able to hire, cultivate and support, then the score is well deserved.

I Tom came up with great numbers for us. So we decided to buy a 2019 Sorento LX AWD. With the $2,000.00 repate was also good deal. Berlin City Kia has changed for the better! Years ago I was displeased with the service but I knew they had the best car deals around. I decided to give them another chance and it was a smart move. Their entire facility from their showroom to their service department to their staff have all been upgraded and improved. The staff are very friendly and inviting. Disappointed by the service I received here. I brought my car in with a known problem, under the impression that they would be able to fix it as it posed an immediate safety concern while driving and I had a long drive home. I was led to believe that I would be able to drive away in a safe car. Instead, they insisted on an hour long diagnostic after which they confirmed the safety problem I already knew about, charged me $175 and sent me home without having fixed a thing because they would need to order parts. If they were not able to fix the known problem I described to them when I arrived, I should not have been led to believe that they could. Nothing helpful came out of this experience. I still had to drive home in an unsafe car and now I'm out $175.

They will work with you on getting a car they got cars for people with low income up to Rich they offer free inspection sticker every year if you buy a car from them but it's bull don't waste your time on getting one free there and was told by them if you live in the area there is buses to bring you to the dealership and they offer money back or trade back warranty for 30 days I think and a 90 day warranty on fixing anything if you find it not working right or running right

If I could give them a negative star I would! I understand my situation wasn’t ideal or easy! But that being said they didn’t listen to me, kept trying to get me to buy vehicles I didn’t want, my sales agent was brand new and I don’t think he should have been on the floor yet! They continued to run credit apps after being told to stop! Our credit was ran 12 TIMES!!! Dropping my credit score significantly! Wasn’t communicated with very well. This place is awful! I love Kia but I HATE Berlin city! I will never recommend this dealership to anyone or ever consider using them in the future, I’ll drive 5,000 miles to a different dealership if I have too!

Brought my 4 Runner in multiple times to diagnose the lights that were on the dash. I'd show up without warning and the shop was quick to see my vehicle and take care of my needs. Once it was determined what my vehicle needed (warranty part) they were quick to take it in, bring me to work, pick me up the following day, and send me on my way good as new! About a week and a half ago I purchased a used Ford Explorer from Berlin City Kia. Here are my thoughts: The salesman, Nick, was courteous, friendly and professional. When I was initially negotiating for the vehicle one of the items I wanted to know about was the price Berlin City had paid for the Explorer. I was told it was 'Policy' not to reveal that price, but when I went over the car after getting it home I found the paperwork from the previous owner. I discovered that the previous owner had purchased this vehicle for over $1500 less than what I paid for it. I examined the repair sheet that came with the vehicle and other than a fancy oil change I can't see anything that would have justified such a price increase, especially since the tires will very soon have to be replaced and all the speakers are blown. It doesn't feel like a $23k vehicle. I feel like a chump, like a meal ticket. I feel as though I overpaid for a vehicle that someone else was smart enough to haggle for. There was no reason for me to trust that I was getting a good deal, I simply had to start somewhere and try my best to not get taken advantage of. I don't feel I was treated well by your dealership. Everyone I dealt with was all smiles and happy to help me, but no one thought me of as an actual person with budget constraints of my own. I was simply a means to an end.

I was out of the service center just before the completion estimate. Went in to buy a mini van they had. Put deposit on it. Ran credit app, asked them to run it only through a couple loan companies. I have credit monitoring and got 8 dings on my credit report lowering my score 30 points. Asked them not to try a certain loan company and they did. Was going to trade one of my motorcycles in as down payment. They made offer on it and I understand that they don’t deal motorcycles they supposedly called the local Harley dealer. I know the owner of the motorcycle dealer and went and talked to him and his head sales guy and they never called them for a purchase price since Berlin city offered almost 4K less than it’s worth and lied to me to boot. They will lie and tell you anything to sell you a car.

Sales experience was awesome. Had some miscommunications with the service department but the GM stepped in and made everything better in the end. Dedrick is the man! Seriously though, this car is badass and Ben is a great sales person. Low pressure, no BS- If you hit a snag be patient and give the management their opportunity to work with you, I'm telling you they will make it better. So far, we are pleased with out experience here. Unfortunately our sales rep no longer works there, but she was a pleasure to work with. Everything was done via text and phone call, which was awesome for us! Our car was delivered around 36 hours later to our home in NY. We have less than perfect credit and were able to get ourself into a low mileage, 2 year old car which was fantastic, with a very reasonable interest rate. Upon receiving our car, we realized it needed some minor work (alignment and struts replaced), and we brought it in, got the work done no charge under the 2 month/2,000 mile warranty. Erin in service was amazing to work with and went above and beyond for us. My only complaints are 1) that the car came to us needing an alignment and struts (it only had 40k miles on it), 2) it took the plates almost a month to arrive at the dealership. I'm not sure who's end it was on since it was an out of state sale, but a month is a long time, 3) took almost a month to get our 2nd key fob mailed to us. Other than that, pleasant experience!

As a return customer, I assure you this is the place to go! Bought a used Kia Optima SXL from this lot, fully loaded and at a good price. I recently returned to this lot June 2018 to trade in my Kia Soul (also purchased at Berlin city) and was taken care of by a very amicable salesman named Ben. The finance guy was also very helpful in taking care of a warranty refund and all my questions were answered knowledgeably by the staff. I didn't end up test driving the car I wanted, however came home in a much nicer Kia Optima for a comparable price. I couldn't be more happy with my purchase, with the customer service, and with how reliable Kia has become. I highly recommend any of Berlin City's lots, this in particular. Update 7/31/18: Have had this car for 2 months without issue. Noticed rattling strut mount during first weeks of driving, but it was not likely to be caught by the garage, and easily fixed within a matter of hours.
