I took my 2014 Audi A4 with 7,500 miles to Audi South Burlington for a routine VT state inspection. However, they stated that unless they removed the "rust" from my brake rotors the car would fail the inspection.. I found this to be quite odd so I turned down their service and brought my car to Kinney Motors in Rutland. They said that car was in perfect condition and the rotors were fine. Needless to say, I will not be going to Audi South Burlington ever again!

Chris Mongeon in the parts department was amazing. He helped me before we moved back to the states decide on a car and what I wanted in a car. He spent weeks with me helping me compare cars and prices and when I finally arrived in the states I was taken right to the car I wanted and took it for a test drive. I fell in love with the first turn. I ended up buying an Audi and Ill never go back to another car again. I know Chris works in the parts department but I found him incredibly knowledgable about not only the maintenance with what car I bought, what kind of warranty package I should go with, but specs on the car that I would like and enjoy. June 29th I purchased a used 2016 Q5 from this dealership. Brian Gamache was the finance manager and had an appointment scheduled for 9am. I felt rushed through paperwork because Mike the sales manager had another client waiting. Within two hours of leaving the dealership I was asked to return to the dealership because he has used the wrong financial paperwork and they needed to come back to dealership to sign the correct forms. Four weeks later I received a notice that my payment was late from the vehicle I traded in. I contacted Brian and explained the situation on that Saturday and they said that he would resolve it on Monday. Monday came and they promptly sent out payoff check and at this point and provided me a tracking number for the check. When I emailed Brian the finance manager for the original payoff check tracking number he refused to respond to my emails. One week later I was in service because they did not provide me the lock key so that I could remove locked lug Brian came through the service department and asked if my vehicle was finally paid off. When I confronted him about not responding to my emails he admitted he has not responded because he had no tracking number and said sorry was not the right thing to do. Once done in service I pulled Michal Huges aside who is the sales manager and explained how my emails were avoided and how this is not acceptable way to treat a client. This was my first experience with this dealership and I am positive it will be my last. The second day owning my car got into the back seat there was dog hair in the carpets and under the seats. There was also something that had been spilled by the previous owner on the side of back seat, up the door and on the back of the passenger seat. It took me an hour and a half to clean my new to me vehicle out. Since this experience no one from the dealership has contacted me to see if I like my new vehicle and if I was happy. I never write reviews but I feel like my experience needed to be shared.

Buying a new car is a big deal. My wife and I had been mulling over upgrading from an Audi Q5 to a Q7. While on a business trip to Vermont we walked into Audi South Burlington, more on a whim than anything else. We were greeted by Audi Sales Expert Anthony Alichwer. Having driven several Audi models when we lived in Germany, and having been to a number of Audi places, we were immediately struck by Anthony’s professionalism and courteousness. We struck up a conversation, and when we realized that Anthony was not in a hurry to immediately sell anything we at some point mentioned our thoughts about a Q7. He invited us to try one on for size, checking out seats and dimensions. Nice, of course, but not our external color, and some features were missing with the model in the show room. Well, it turned out that Anthony was expecting two other Q7 Audis coming in, and one of them perfectly fit the bill. In a matter of three days, we took care of the sale and arranged for the transfer to California where we live. Anthony was right with us every step of the way, always responding to every question we had via e-mail or phone, helpful with every detail, and always present with tips and hints. After many years with Audi here in the USA and back in Germany, the sales arrangement with Anthony was definitely the most professional, pleasant, and courteous experience we could think of as customers. Salesman was indifferent and lacked knowledge of the vehicle. What he didn't know, he made up. Bought a used vehicle and was given wrong info on the locked wheels and that the key was in the glove box. Found out there was no key. Dealership wanted me to purchase the tool kit for wheels for $150! Follow-up call was short and indifferent. No call back from service. No answer from Shearer Group either. Will never buy another vehicle from this group.

Waited 3 weeks for an annual service. Then they refused to inspect my brand new S6 because it didn’t have a front plate. They didn’t tell me until I went to pick it up and when I said I could be back tomorrow with the front plate on, they said I needed to wait another 3 weeks. They are clearly under staffed, I have called and left several messages to make an appointment, without any response.

Great experience working with Bob V in finding and buying our first family car. He found the Q7 we were looking for including all the equipment, safety features, and even the exterior and interior colors we wanted! Bob was great to work with and made communicating back and forth very easy. We were never pressured or rushed and Bob was very accommodating to our schedule. Great place to buy a used car. I happened to be in Burlington for work and stopped into the South Burlington Audi dealership to check out a used Q5. I wound up meeting Jeff Goss, who is such a pleasure to work with. If I had to describe Jeff, knowledgeable, relaxed, and funny are the words that come to mind. I stopped in during a blizzard with about 7 inches of snow on the ground - Jeff dug out the Q5 and afforded me a true-to-form test drive. I came back the next day and Jeff setup a much longer test drive to make sure I was comfortable with the car. I learned the dealership has been owned and operated by the same family for 4 generations now. They treat their customers well and price their cars competitively. Super thrilled with my Q5 and my experience here.

Steer clear of service here, unless your time is not valuable. Three times in 2 years, my car has been brought in for a service first in the am then needs to stay overnight after waiting around until after 4 PM. And they promised me a driver to deliver my car to work the next day but didn't alert me until noon that the driver was unavailable until the following day. 2 days without my vehicle for a recall and 40K check, then they had the audacity to charge me $9.43 for the gas I used in their loaner in that extra two nights they held my car hostage. They will never service my car again!!! (in response) I was texted by management Antony, with absolutely no assistance in resolution, only that the car would be delivered the next day (no help). I spoke with the GM who assured me he would look into it and credit the ludicrous fuel charge (which has not been refunded as of today, 3 business days later). I rarely leave poor reviews but the public should be warned.

I had been working with Bob Vietze and he was right on top of my inquiries and got back to me very quickly every time I had any questions. I have owned my 2017 A-7 since November 2016. I have 9000 miles on it and have averaged 28.5 MPG. Having owned Lexus, ACURAs and BMWs the AUDI is the best performing in every category. I have never had so much fun buying a car - this is my second car from Audi SB and now I'm spoiled and can't buy a car anywhere else. Bob Vietze was the best saleperson ever - I'd say he's the ANTI car salesman in that he was the nicest guy I've ever met. Also super patient -my daughter and I test drove an Audi Q5 and he was lovely every step of the way. We wanted to test the sound system and though others might have despaired, he gracefully endured us cranking up a few songs to see how it sounded with nary a protest. In fact, I would almost say he enjoyed it. This is a first rate dealership in every way. They take care of you, they are super nice, Mike Hughes is a great sales manager (I didn't even have to shop around as he knew we were serious and gave us a fantastic price right up front with no haggling as he wanted us to buy from them) and a big asset as well. Kevin was super helpful in the financial transactions. Bob was also very patient in explaining all the features of the car. Even though we have a similar car, there were some new things and he did not rush us through anything and set up all our devices/wifi/mobile. If I could give 10 stars I would. Buying from Bob V and Audi SB is the most painless car buying experience you will ever have. You may never think of car salesman the same way again.

I'm on my 4th audi now, currently a new S5 and I've dealt with at least a dozen different audi dealerships for purchasing, service, etc. The service department here is the best I've come across thus far, have corrected any errors, and went made sure I had a good experience with them. Never have I worked with such an unethical business. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. IF YOU MUST DEAL WITH THEM, ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION. I was required to discuss detailed service issues with Brittany the service 'rep' who wasn't able to answer a single question about the details of my service nor was she willing to ask the technicians to get the correct answer. She was quite unprofessional and I felt like I was talking to a 10 year old about my car. I have had my car serviced there 4-5 times and have not once experienced service that did not require me to bring the car back for them to fix a problem that they either didn't address or failed to address properly. On two separate occasions the dealership told that I "needed to have work done and components replaced because the car was unsafe to drive" and then taken it to get a second opinion and been blatantly told that I was being ripped off.

For the past 30 years, I have been a Volvo customer...exclusively. Then, my brother waxed enthusiastically about the joy of driving an Audi and my loyalty wavered just a bit. After all, my wife still loved the Volvo Cross-Country 70 wagon so I figured I had not strayed too badly. Well, my brother was right. The Audi has been wonderful to drive. Still, I was hesitant about the switch because of the long-standing service I had always received at Volvo. How could South Burlington Audi match that? It didn't take long as I met Brett Lister, my initial Audi service advisor. Brett demonstrated a keen knowledge about the Audi yet, at the same time, a sensitivity to customer needs whereby a new Audi has awaited me as a loaner every time I enter the dealership. Brett gets right to the point when reviewing the reasons for servicing. He understands that I tend to run late for everything so he is not going to contribute to my tardy habits; rather, I am in and out without waiting at all, something I would have considered a rare occurrence at Volvo. Therefore, my experience at Audi has been a genuine pleasure as Brett gives me great advice on a myriad of topics while still making sure I am on the road in no time at all. He keeps me apprised of my car's servicing throughout the day so that the minute I arrive for pickup, the car is ready for departure. Before I leave, however, Brett makes sure I understand the nature of any repair and the cost associated with it. I leave South Burlington Audi in a car that shines as a courtesy carwash is more than a simple hosing down; rather, the car is hand washed and dried with an inside vacuuming and dusting that leave my Audi looking new...at no cost! Thanks, Brett, and the entire South Burlington team of professionals who make the total driving experience a real enjoyment. Now, I just have to convince my wife to check out the Audi wagon I drove on Friday which was fun to handle and to look at as well....

These people ripped us off so badly I don’t know where to begin. They charged us hundreds of dollars when we bought our new A6 for paint and leather treatment and never even put it on. I demanded a check for what we paid and they sent me a check knowing I was going to sue. Then I just found out from my mechanic why my headlight washers no longer work as I figured I wasn’t going to pay to have them repaired. Audi tore off the motors and guts to the system when they kept it overnight long ago to retaliate against us for complaining to their regional distributor about their horrible service. I complained to the latter last week and they just blew me off. I hope they sue me for slander because I would love to tell a judge how they cheated us. They give special meaning to the term LET THE BUYER BEWARE!
