Decent service, the salespeople really follow you when they think you are going to buy something.

We have purchased 4 cars from the dealership and THAT experience was exceptional...however their service department has been less than impressive. The one time we used the service department we took my husband's car in to get a latch fixed on the rear door. They told us that it was under recall...BUT...the recall notice hadn't been released yet so we had to pay to get it fixed. Then when we received the recall we took the notice in along with our receipt and they did not refund us the total amount...$300 still came out of our pocket! The next time we took the same vehicle in was to get the AC fixed. We dropped it off on a Friday evening because we were heading out of town for the weekend and would not be back until late Monday. They had it for another week or so waiting for parts and then repairing it. When we picked it up it had a crack in the windshield that was NOT there when we dropped if off. We spoke with the manager who told us that the crack was there when they checked it in and that they were not responsible for it until that time frame. I asked when it was checked in and he could not provide me with that information but again reiterated it was there when it was "checked in" and they were not responsible for fixing or replacing it. (We did have a small rock crack in front of the driver's side but the long crack was on the passenger's side and the 2 are not connected.) As much as I like to keep my business local I do think I will go elsewhere for service. I feel their customer service is lacking and does not deserve my loyalty. Unfortunately it doesn't matter if your purchase service was great...what matters is how you are treated AFTER they get your money.

On the finance side, Katy Miller went above and beyond securing a excellent interest rate. The extended warranty was priced right as well!! I may live almost 4 hours away, but I will be back!!

Absolutely the best dealer I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Saturday morning the exact car I had been on the search for was posted. I wanted to make a move on it that day, but since I lived 1hr 15mins away and scheduling conflicts only allowed us to arrive just after their closing time.. I didn't think it would happen...but it did! JR Romero assured me that it was no problem if we arrive just after closing, he would wait for us. We arrived and test drove the car, fell is love with it, made a deal and signed all paperwork and we were out of there in under 1.5hrs! JR even stayed a little longer to help me set up the SYNC in my new car and show me how to use all of the cool functions. They are completely honest about the real value of their used cars and the previous owners. Thank you to Bethany and the trade in team too for staying late for us. Best car buy experience ever!

Communication REALLY seems to be lacking. Its a shame too, because the car we were looking at was perfect for us. If only the customer service was there, and the willingness to wheel and deal. Hopefully we can eventually find what we want again, at a dealership a little more helpful.

We had an exceptional car buying experience! Brandon Garcia was positive and friendly about answering all our questions He initially helped us over the phone and had the car we were interested in, detailed and ready for us. At no time did we feel pressured to buy the car. This was a new experience for us. Dana Beckwith, the finance director was equally helpful and friendly. She made the buying process exciting and fun. To our surprise, we were out the door with our new car in 3 hours! Unheard of! We will definitely return for our next car, and have already recommended Brandon and Dana to our many friends in Austin.

The service department at Johnson Sewell Ford replaced the brakes on our 2016 F350. The service was fast and well done, however, they only earned a two star rating because while in their possession, our truck received its very first, and very noticeable scratches. We promptly brought it to their attention but they denied responsibility and stated, "nothing here could have caused the scratches." We are very disappointed they didn't own up to the responsibility and simply offer to at least buff the scratches out.

This dealership is awesome. I've always got A+ service here. Ken is my salesman and he's awesome. I've talked with several of the sales and they are equally as great and treat you the same even if they aren't the one selling you the car. Josh & Butch over sales always there to answer questions help work with you. Dana in finance is such a delight to deal with and always with a smile. Gene in service is always there to greet you with a smiling face and makes sure any problems are taken care of. Rob in service is helpful as well. Marizol is accessories is another smiling helpful person and if you have a problem with what you get for accessories she's there to solve the problem. Junis is quicklane is wonderful and cheerful always. They are all a great group of people and almost feel like I'm part of the Ford Family there. I'm sure I left out a few that have helped me over the years but if you go here for any of your needs I'm sure you'll be greeted with a smiling friendly face and taken care of

Every time I bring in one of my trucks to their not so quick lane it's a problem. Appointment no appointment gonna be at least an hour before they can get to u. Don't know how to check tires always at least one quart low on fresh oil change . today they refused my buissness claiming not enough time but still an hour before they close. I will bring both my diesels elsewhere

Typical Ford stealership, but it looks nice. Different service techs every time I go, but they do good work and don't push things on you or lie about mechanical conditions. They usually move pretty quick but when they're busy they'll show signs of stress. Free WiFi for hanging out while you wait and a choice of comfy chairs with TV and beverages if'n you're local or regular, plastic chairs next to the service desk if'n you're not.

So I’m young and because of that I usually get treated wrong when I go places like this. 6 star experience with Johnson Sewell's service department. An error was made when they installed a new transmission in my Expedition. 6 months later, this led to the wiring harness burning through which required $850 work at a Ford dealership in another town. Gene Baker of JS's service department could not have acted more professionally as they provided prompt reimbursement to us for the bill that we paid to the other dealership. My next Ford will absolutely be purchased at Johnson Sewell. A car dealership with integrity, that's pretty rare. 6 stars on a 5 star scale

I found myself not able to start my car because it said it was in reverse. It was in park. Called the dealership. They promptly sent a wrecker. I was given a loaner so was able to pick up my wife in Lakeway after a month in the hospital. I was to get back a rental at three. By the time I got home my car was ready for pick-up. No charge on any of the transactions and true service with a smile. If you need service, request Meagen Parker. She will take care of you.

We bought our first vehicle here in 1996. The experience was enough to keep us coming back. Since then, we have bought 5 used and 4 new vehicles from Johnson-Sewell. Each time they were very helpful and got us the best deal possible. After departing the area, we still shop and buy from this dealer and they deliver the vehicles to us in Houston. We buy Ford's because they are American made. We shop at Johnson Sewell because they treat us like family. My opinion is that if they treat you right, why go anywhere else? Thank you John J, Dana, and Josh. Our daughter loves her first new car! See y'all again in a few years when our baby starts driving. Thanks for all the great cars we have worn out and traded back in for newer models. You won't be getting my F350 back though...I love my truck!

First I would like to say this is by far the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced at a Dealership! The sales rep that helped us was named Shannah. Her customer service skills, politeness, positive attitude and flexibility was amazing. She never once pressured me into buying a truck. She assessed my needs and asked us what we were looking for and told us what she had available in that price range. She even stayed late because she knew I didnt get out of work until 5pm in Austin and they close at 6pm. She did this for me 3 days in a row. I was extremely grateful! She went above and beyond what I expect from any sales rep. We ended up purchasing a pre-owned 2013 Ford F-150! The transaction went through smoothly with Financial Manager Patty, she looked for the best interest rate possible and was a tremendous help and very sweet and pleasant to work with as well! After taking the truck home there were some minor concerns that needed to be looked at and thanks the Sales Manager Butch and Josh and the Service Manager Gene and the Auto Technician Todd they addressed all of our needs and even put us in a Ford F-150 loaner, while they were fixing the minor repairs. All of the reps were pleasent and such a Blessing to work with! They were extremely efficient and communicated everything with my husband and I. Brought them my f350 that was having trouble starting; They charged me $1200 to tell me it would take $10,000 to fix. Obviously I could not pay that exuberant amount so I took the truck home, changed the fuel filters, diesel, and it has run perfectly since. Do not take your vehicle here, they do not act in your best interest, its all about the $$ to them, and what I experienced is borderline criminal. Dilly Dilly!

My experience with Johnson Sewell Ford began purely by fate. I was with my friend, Janice Garrett, when she took her Navigator in for oil change. I went up the hill to look at the used vehicles. There, I encountered a young man, Brandon Garcia, a Johnson Sewell Sales Associate. I also saw a vehicle that really caught my eye. Brandon immediatly pulled the car up on his phone and gave me all the info. I told him about my trade in and he invited me to bring it in and just see what they could do. I have to say, this was the best experience in purchasing a car! I did come back...bought the car. Patti in finance was top notch! A sincere THANK YOU to the Johnson Sewell Team! For months we dealt and negotiated with the Ford dealers in Austin. North, south, east, west, it did not matter. Every interaction with other dealers felt underhanded and like smoke & mirrors show. We were about to give up on a Ford and simply get a Tundra as our new tow vehicle. I chatted with a rep on Johnson Sewell's site on a Saturday morning about a truck I saw online. The rep quickly handed me over to Jim Joiner who told me more about the truck and really bent over backward to put together a price plan to work with our budget. The team gave us a GREAT deal on our trade-in! Most importantly, we drove over an hour to get the dealer and once there, the team honored the agreement we had made on the phone and did not alter the deal one bit. This is unheard of in the car dealership industry. No haggling. No changes. No hidden prices. Not pushy about anything. A deal was a deal with this team. Great hometown dealership. *UPDATE* A deer hit me (REALLY!) and I was going to take my Edge to the insurance company approved shop -- but they NEVER called me as I had been told they would -- whereas Jared @ Johnson-Sewell called me twice! Great team and staff. Not sure I trust the maintenance department that much and the check engine light did come on a week after I got it but it’s just an exhaust code so I just drive it anyway. Has been a good vehicle so far but I didn’t buy new. I told them what I had, what I wanted and what I wanted to pay and they made it happen. Now I have a $114 car payment, my credit is growing because of the credit union they used to finance me and it was just an overall painless car buying experience.

I took my car in for some warranty work and when I picked my car up I noticed an oops in my interior so I called the service department on my way to work. I spoke with Rob Cormier he said they would come pick my car up to clean the inside and bring it back to me. I later received a call from the front desk where I work stating they had my car key. I went and got my key and went to look my car over they had completely detailed my car inside and out. I called my husband and told him how I was so surprised but then I get in my car when I got off headed home I noticed they filled my car up. They did not have to detail my car or fill my tank. THANK YOU for such wonderful customer service.

Sewell Ford turned a menacing situation into a flawless experience. I had an issue with my truck having a fuel pump problem. I set my appointment up a few weeks ago. They called and reminded me the day before and when I showed up to drop my truck off they had an F-250 waiting for me to drive while mine was going to be serviced. They were done with my truck that day and I was on my way. The service writer Adrian was very professional. I will never go any where else. Fantastic job!

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Just witnessed the most outlandish situation...and still living it! Zero follow-up, the right hand is clueless to what the left is doing, therefore, absolutely NO communication. My parents, who are in their 80's, are passing thru town with their RV and their truck broke down. (Expected faulty starter) It was towed in on Wednesday afternoon. Kris is their assigned "Advisor". He said he would call Thursday at 2:30 to give them the estimate. NO Call. My Stepdad called at 3:00....they had NOT even gotten to it yet. (Follow thru Kris) At the end of Thursday, my stepdad had to call AGAIN. Confirmed it was the starter and will repair on Friday....Kris will call him by 4. 4:00 Friday, NO CALL. (Follow thru Kris) Stepdad calls him. It will be done by end of day(6:00). We drive 45 minutes to pick it up...not finished at 5:30. 10 minutes before they close, oh gee.....there is a "broken bolt"....can't get it until MONDAY. ??????? 45 minute drive back. Absolutely no accountabilty for a complete lack of any semblance of service! Talk about taking advantage of elderly! Deplorable situation. Again, ZERO follow-up, follow thru or communication. At this point, I don't believe they even worked on it at all. I don't believe they had any intention of getting to it until Monday anyway, but had to lie to cya for a complete lack of process and follow thru. NOT ONCE did the "Advisor" even reach out to them. Never seen such a situation! Unbelievable. Disappointing. Unacceptable. As a follow up: My parents received a call bright and early (7 am) the next morning from the Service Manager who was on vacation. He apologized profusely and made sure their truck repairs got finished. We picked the truck up at 9 am and I am happy to report that they were able to "get on down the road" to their south Texas destination without further delay and additional expense due to this delay. I upped the review a couple of stars, however, seems the Service Dept. is in need of a second in command or overall better Customer Service training and process program. So sorry to hear his vacation had to be disrupted, but fully appreciate his diligence in making this situation right.
