They are getting 1 star because they answered the phone and that was about all they did. Now where to begin? Called the service department up and scheduled some work on my vehicle. At this time I asked if any loaner vehicles were available as I was dropping of my daily. I was informed that if I scheduled out 7 days, there WILL be one available. Great! Thank you. Called 3 days later to confirm service and car, "You are good to go, we'll see you soon" I'm told. Call the evening prior to drop off, "I'm sorry but we don't have any record of your appointment, and we don't have any available loaners". So now I'm not even in the system for service? Ended up getting my vehicle put back in the system for service on the following day. "We'll call you if anything changes" I'm told. Call the next morning, was hung up on on the first attempt. Second attempt was put on hold for 10 minutes, then the same person answers, put on hold for another 7 minutes, then same person answers again! I tell them not to put me on hold again and if they can verify that anyone is even in the service department. "they are in a different building and I don't know" they tell me.
Why am I upset? One, they offered me a service (loaner) that was then not provided. If they didn't have one in the beginning they should have told me, I could have got a rental. Easy fix. Two, we "scheduled" the work in advance to prevent delays and allow them time to get their loaner and parts in order. That obviously didn't make a difference because they didn't actually schedule my work. Third, nobody knows what is going on between the departments and it's obvious nobody communicates over there. This caused confusion and a lack of confidence from me, your customer. And lastly, you still have not contacted me, again your customer, as to what is going on (4 days after the "appointment").
I have had this same BS "service" from other dealerships in this area and was told by others that Four Star was not like the other dealerships. Guess those individuals didn't have to deal with the same service department I did, because their customer service is absolutely terrible. Didn't even make it in to do the work because they couldn't get their stuff together! I will NEVER do business with Four Star and will NOT recommend them to ANYONE. I may only be one person, but if Four Star doesn't get their stuff together, they will lose ever customer they need to keep their doors open.
