I highly recommend purchasing a truck from American Auto Brokers. Being a few hours away from San Antonio I called to verify that the truck we saw online was still available and the lady who answered was very friendly. When we got the the staff was nice and the facility was nice and clean with snacks. We were assigned to work with Melissa C. She is a very nice lady and let me tell you she has a lot of patients!!! I went in already approved with my credit union and they did not at all pressure me to try and finance under one of their banks. We got to test drive the truck twice. The first time was the normal test drive and then I was having difficulties with my credit union and it was taking forever for them to process the papers on their end but Melissa C. Was so patient and had us take another small test drive so we could pass time. She was so sweet and didn’t give up on us. She never gave attitude or make me feel like I was wasting her time. All the stress from my side was well worth it!!! I love my truck! Thank you for making this process possible, being understanding and not giving up on us.

Honestly, I was a little hesitant when my husband and I first visited American Auto Brokers. Their “no negotiation” policy made me feel uneasy. This feeling was put to rest when I realized that their policy is valid due to the exceptional quality of their vehicles. They’ll even slap new tires on a vehicle if they feel the current ones are not up to their standards. If you are considering making a call to the dealership, ask for Melissa M, there and two staff members named Melissa. Melissa M was so patient, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the process. We were especially grateful that she stayed with us at the dealership so late to ensure that we were able to leave with the truck the same day. This is not to say that they take all day to process what is necessary to purchase. We arrived shortly before closing time. This dealership also takes very good care of their customers after already having sold a truck. They assured us that if anything should go wrong with the truck, the extended warranty that we chose to go with would cover every part on the truck with no deductible if we brought it into the dealership. We are so happy we decided to purchase our truck at American Auto Brokers! If you are feeling hesitant, as I was, please take a moment to consider this non-conventional dealership and ask for Melissa M.

We've bought a couple vehicles from AAB and have had good experiences. Their trade in offer was very competitive and usually higher than other dealers. The vehicles they sell are very clean and the sales staff is helpful, but not pushy. They allow you to walk their lot and look at their inventory without following you or hovering around while you discuss your options. As with buying any lifted vehicle you should keep in mind tire size, clearance, and gearing and the fact that the dealer may not know all these specs. Lastly I'd like to thank our salesperson Victoria who was very patient and helpful with us. She came in on her day off last minute to finish up our paperwork.

First let me say that American Auto Brokers has a great business model. They provide outstanding customer service from start to finish. We worked with Jorge in sales and Mini in the Finance Department and they were both great. Jorge took time to ensure every question we had was answered. He even took the time to take several extra pictures for us given we were coming from out of State to purchase the truck. We are extremely picky and wanted to make sure there were no surprises. On top of the great customer service, their trucks are priced well. I’ve noticed reviews stating they were disappointed to learn they were a no haggle price dealer. If a vehicle is priced well, there is no need to go through the exhausting exercise of haggling to reduce the price. Their prices are much more competitive than any local dealer because they are an online dealer. We purchased an F250 Diesel with exceptionally low miles on it. We opted not to do a buyers inspection. However, we took it to the local Ford Dealership when we got back home. The truck received a great report as we expected. We are very happy with the truck. If your in the market for a used truck, I would highly recommend them.

We drove 6 hours to look at a truck we found on car gurus. Once we got there we find out there’s no negotiating. The dealership adds on about $1100 in fees so consider that into the price of the vehicle- $400 windshield fee, $400 security fee, $150 document fee, $132.50 non tax fee. Nickle and dime much?! Then add on to the next 5 hours you subjected to “no pressure” financing. We were offered $3000 extended warranty and gap - over $5000 in warranty / extra “protections”. After refusing the protections were told, “ if it falls in half when you drive out you own 2 halves”. We will take our chances and buy a warranty when we refinance with our credit union (about $1200 for their warranty which we’ve had in the past and was great!). Then when asked about the oil change were told it doesn’t come with one- the oil level is at 70%. Also told they don’t fill the tank and the truck literally has a quarter of a tank! And they don’t take drafting instructions from a bank- cashiers check only so your forced to do financing here! I would not recommend this “over fees-under service” racquet of a dealership! Never again!

My transaction with American Auto Brokers was flawless. I was an out of state buyer and found my dream Dodge Ram 3500 at AAB. Michelle and the rest of the team were extremely helpful. As you can imagine, buying a vehicle sight unseen can be nerve wracking. AAB did everything possible to make it comfortable. They encouraged me to bring in a local independent vehicle inspector. Everything was accurately represented throughout the entire process. I took a one way flight from New York, it was a quick cab ride from San Antonio airport to AAB. Michelle immediately set me up with a test drive and the truck was exactly as advertised. Some quick paperwork, I drove it home to New York and I haven’t looked back. I highly recommend AAB and have been telling all my friends on the East Coast where to find quality rust free trucks!

I'll separate my review in two sections: the staff and the experience. Victoria as well as Gabby and the lady in finance were all incredibly professional and communication was great. Anytime I called, my questions were promptly answered as well as call backs given if needed. The staff I worked with were great. My overall experience was disappointing, but only because I had read of so many good reviews online. With a purchase over $50k I expected to have a full tank of gas to drive off the lot. I didn't expect a free t shirt would have to be approved before given to me when I asked for one. My truck was absolutely not detailed before I left. There was smearing all over the glass, dirt on the passenger seat, and road grime on the wheels and truck. Not expected from a highly reviewed dealer. The morning after my purchase my truck would not start. Turns out both batteries were going bad, and per mechanic the truck had to been jump started previously due to the battery condition. So 2 new batteries had to be purchased and remedied the issue. Full disclosure: I did not express these complaints to the dealership, but instead took it upon my own to remedy. I was recommended by a friend who has purchased multiple vehicles from them, and had a better experience. Update: Immediately after my review Gabby reached out to apologize for the mishaps and try to make it right. She has since made it right by reimbursing for new batteries, and offered to detail the truck anytime that I could stop by. Sometimes things just don't work out as expected, but the staff has remedied my concerns. Thank you!

Not only are the vehicles overpriced, they will NOT negotiate and their prices are final. Staff is not knowledgeable about the vehicles they are selling. Haven't received the answers I was looking for I was constantly hassled about the $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to hold vehicle. They won't even mail you documents without the deposit. Didn't want to drive 7hrs from EL Paso and not have the paperwork all together. They wanted to send my wife (co-signer) documents to sign that didn't even have numbers on it with hopes she would sign blank documents. Definitely a shady business. Chose to go buy a vehicle somewhere else where the sales people know the vehicles without having to call me back (which they never did). They rate a ZERO.

Update on review they are taking care of my issues and even gave me a front brake job. Amber is the best she definitely took care of me. The price was pretty good on the truck the sales lady was nice. I agree with other customers on the added protection costs they said it would get me a discount on insurance it does not. Other than that the positives stop. The antenna was missing off the truck they tried to make it look like nothing was wrong. The passenger side seat has a terrible rattle. Those two issues they agreed to fix. But after getting the truck home the rear passenger window has issues rolling down. Took the truck in and paid $300 for an extra key and door code on top of that the truck needs a brake job. I'm guessing no one inspects the trucks when they come to their location. I will never purchase a vehicle from them and will be sure to let everyone know.

The 1st thing I have to say about American auto brokers is that they are the best place to buy full size pickup trucks. The quality and price of all of their trucks is spot on, I have yet to find another place with the quality of trucks if they have. When I got there I was going back-and-forth on several trucks and couldn't really make a good decision on what I wanted. They allowed me to put some money down and reserve a truck that I liked, but in the end they had another vehicle that came available that I ended up purchasing. The sales staff was more than happy to accommodate me, and were able to meet my exact needs. I enjoyed working with Tabitha and Melissa on getting a truck that I really wanted, and suited my needs. The truck was clean and smelled great when I was ready to pick it up. The finance section was extremely helpful in finalizing the purchase, and made things very painless. I would highly recommend buying from American auto brokers, and I myself plan on buying from them again.

I arrived looking for a specific vehicle that was listed. Communication was kept me until the day I showed up. The vehicle was in the condition as listed and the price as listed. There’s no haggling. The office and staff is operated in a very professional manner. My credit was able to get me financing at a much better rate than my bank or credit union had approved me for. The overall experience good. There was one minor issue of adding windshield and theft protection that I didn’t ask for automatically onto the vehicle. It can not be removed so be prepared for that. But overall, I am a very happy customer.

The Sales people, particularly Tashana were very helpful, courteous and respectful of my wife and I making our decision to purchase. Gabby, one of the general sales managers was also supportive of Tashana and helping make sure we had all of the information needed to make a decision. There was no pressure that my wife and I detected. When we decided to move forward we were a little disappointed that Randolph Brooks was not on the list of lenders, but there are trade offs. Everyone I had contact with was very helpful and respectful of our time. It is also noteworthy that the amount and quality of inventory is very impressive. It was gratifying to have the Tashana show me the vehicle and then leave me with the truck so I could look at it alone without hanging around or checking up on me. Seems to be a decent auto dealer. My only comment is to remember that you are dealing with used car salespeople. They will lie to you and they will not stand by anything that is not in writing. They also seem to have a very limited finance department. I was in the waiting room for 3 hours waiting my turn to sign my paperwork to buy my truck.

After submitting paperwork and while waiting on approval and having a substantial amount to put down and being in contact with them for the last 24 hours, the truck was sold out from under us. At this time we have decided to continuing look and go with a different dealership who won't sell out from under us. First I want to thank got trucks? For selling me their truck..... now if ur going to got trucks to negotiate price or get a great value for ur trade ur at the wrong place. They do neither. However if they have the truck u really want and ur bank has told u no on financing even though u have tier 1 credit got rucks will get u financed. Had originally given them 5 stars as the buying experience was great, the reason I have changed it to a 2 star review is due to the following. When I purchased my Tahoe I had traded in a vehicle with a set of brand new tires on it, I asked if I could do a tire swap which they were happy to help with. When I showed up for my set appointment that I verified via text the day before I was told that no I did not have an appointment BUT they would still get it done. I wanted 3-4 hours waiting for my car to come back from getting the tires swapped over. (when I was told it would take about an hour when I made my appointment, first negative) Final blow was when I got in to go to work which I was not running late for, the tires did not fit and were rubbing terribly. Now I understand that I did request the tires to be swapped because the tires should have fit according to the size. NO one mentioned to me or came and asked if I still wanted not fitting tires, they simply handed me the keys after 3-4 hours of waiting and told me I was good to go. Which I was not rubbing tires can be very dangerous, I was not able to drive home that night due to how bad they were rubbing. I called them an asked why I was not advised the tires did not fit and why they felt that it was ok to send someone home like that, there response was "oh I am sorry, you can bring it back and we can put the old tires back on it for $40 a tire". At this point I have already gotten to work (late) and did not get off until 7pm, the service department wouldn't be able to do it the next day due to it was Saturday and that department is closed. I ended up dropping my Tahoe off at a local tire shop and had to get a set of new tires put on. I was advised by the tire shop that the reason the tires were rubbing was because of the running boards were shifted forward hitting the tire. I am shocked that the tire company that American Auto Brokers took my Tahoe to did not mention this would be an issue and I was very disappointed that American Auto Brokers who drove my Tahoe back after the tire swap did not mention it to me once. The tire rubbing was VERY obvious and there was no reason for me to be sent home like that. The buying experience was very pleasant and easy but the service department was NOT a pleasant experience.

Didn’t like the pricing when paying cash. Staff was pushing for us to get a loan. Water in washer fluid tank instead of windshield cleaner. Service records weren’t available or just weren’t provided. Customer Service was good and my wife appreciated the mostly female staff. The financial department person was great and she got us out of the office quickly.
