Wife bought a used car from them with full warranty. Took it in for a bad bulb bad brakes and bad shocks and sun roof issues. They said brakes were sufficient sun roof wasn't covered and shocks were not covered. Took it home brakes still squeaked so I changed them myself. Took the old brake pads back to them and asked if they were any good they said they were shot and they wouldn't ever leave them on a car. Well one week before they said they were fine. But since it was warranty work I guess they didn't want to do it. Oh and when we made the appointment to have it looked at they lost it. They did end up squeezing us in but still not impressed. Will never do business there again.

Well, it's been two weeks since I requested a follow-up call to my service issue with my Cadillac. All other Cadillac service departments I have dealt with in the past have given me first class service, going the veritable extra mile/above and beyond the call of duty on their service. When I drop a considerable amount of money, and don't even get a common courtesy vacuum and window wash of my interior, needless to say it's a little disappointing. This is not the first time this underwhelming service shortchange has occurred; it happened last year, but I gave the service department the benefit of the doubt that perhaps it was a busy day back then. I guess it looks like the old adage, "fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice.....I left a message for the general manager four days ago, and have yet to hear from him, as well. I realize that I did not purchase my Cadillac at the Luxury Auto Mall, but these past two negative experiences have done nothing to woo me towards giving the Luxury Auto Mall my business as far as my next Cadillac purchase is concerned.

My customer service experience has always been great at Luxury Auto Mall, but my service yesterday was over the top excellent. Everyone went out of their way to make my time in the service area top notch. My pending service was clearly explained, a time frame was given, and they even went above my warranty expiration to change out my brakes. WOW! While I waited, a number of the staff engaged me in genuine conversation and everyone seemed to know my name, my buying history, what my favorites were. These guys great to work with. I love the way they do business. They cut out the back and forth offers and just stick with the price they have which are usually very reasonable. They also made a very fair offer on our trade in right away instead of trying to low ball us and slowly up the price. They cut out all the hassle and it makes the whole experience much easier. We purchased a used vehicle from them and a couple days later we realized the remote for the dvd player was missing. We let them know and although they were under no obligation to get us one they did and did not charge us for it. Really recommend doing business here if they have what you are looking for.

I purchased a 2016 Mercedes c class in early summer of last year. I live in rapid city South Dakota And was concerned about this as there is no dealer here. I was assured that I had roadside assistance, that they generally send loaners or rental cars out for repairs and therefore they would make the process as easy as possible on me. I took the car in for warranty work almost immediately as there was some cracks in the body and headlights and they quoted me 2 days on the repair. My car spent 2.5 weeks there. I wasted a nights hotel stay they but they did give me a nice loaner to take home for the two weeks. My car was eventually brought back with 2k in hail damage on it! No one said a word to me about the hail damage. They dropped it off in hopes I would not notice it until it couldn’t be proven it happened on their lot I suspect. They had to have known that it hailed on the cars on their lot. I called them and was told “We don’t have enough room to store all cars inside, you’ll have to submit this claim to insurance”.no apology initially. They did cover my deductible if I drove it another 800 miles round trip to have it fixed with them. This also cost me 30 dollars per month perpetually, as I lost my no claim record for my insurance. This didn’t seem to matter to anyone in the service department as I got an apology however we cannot do anything else to accommodate. I was continuously reminded how lucky I was that they were bringing someone to drive my car back....for some reason I didn’t feel very fortunate. I listened to the general managers voice on the hold line say “when you bring your car in for service we treat it like our own” I found this ironic. My car began to have a very strong gas odor recently and so I called roadside assistance. They did pick the car up and took it to Sioux Falls. A gas leak in the low pressure system was found in a 2 year old car. The car also started shifting terribly recently and the brakes squeak worse than any other car I hear on the road when my windows are down. I was told this was normal.they fixed the gas leak but nothing else and initially stated they could bring it back to me in 4 days. I had already been out of a car for 1 week. I am currently stuck without a vehicle in a town over from where I live, waiting to get my car. I really wanted to be done with driving it back and forth to Sioux Falls and losing my car for weeks on end for simple repairs so I asked to trade in for a Ford or Cadillac that can be fixed here....trade in value was 10 grand less than I bought the car for 8 months ago!!!!! I now am driving a car that I am paying much more than it is worth on, that runs Worse than my 2006 Chevy impala I traded it for, and a car I lose for weeks on end for simple repairs and maintenance. If you do not live in Sioux Falls do not purchase a vehicle from this dealership. I hope that the general manager of this store sees this review and improves the experience for the next person that buys from out of town. I will be letting everyone I know to avoid this dealership Edit: my car smells of gas inside the cabin once again after it was “fixed” a few weeks ago.

I have a Cadillac Escalade ESV that needed some work so I brought it over to this terrific dealership and they not only went through and fixed everything but they also did a full inspection and brought up a few other things that needed attention and got those fixed as well... And they even gave my vehicle a nice washing afterwards as a bonus. Rob Pattinson and the rest of the service crew over there are super professional and very nice to work with. they kept me informed by phone throughout the entire process and also gave me a vehicle to use while my vehicle was in the shop. I can tell you how hard it is to find good customer service these days because everybody knows that. This place gives you the good old fashion red carpet VIP service in everything they do. I had been looking for a 5 series for months in the Denver area and wasn't having much luck. When I expanded my search outside of Colorado, I came across a 528i that was exactly what I was looking for. I happen to be a native of South Dakota, and I was very excited to see that a car I was interested in was available in my home state. One call to the dealership and they put a hold on the car for me, no problem at all. By chance, my parents happened to be heading to Sioux Falls the very next day, and they decided to stop by the dealership and take a quick look over the car. When they arrived, my Client Advisor Jake Fredrickson took time out of his day to go get the car, and go over all of the features and details with my parents. I was very impressed that he took the time to do this, when he really had no obligation to do so. My parents were also very impressed with his professionalism and personable attitude. When I arrived to take delivery of the car, he treated me just as well as he had done with my parents a few days earlier. He took the time to go over the service history of the car, and then he took over an hour of his time demonstrating all aspects of my car. It was a really great experience, and made my out of state purchase experience that much better. Overall, I was incredibly pleased with Jake and BMW of Sioux Falls and would highly recommend Jake to anyone in the market for a BMW.

UPDATE: I am very pleased with my visit today! I picked up my car and LAM went up and above my expectations...my car was spotless. I can honestly say they read these reviews and react accordingly. A big thank you for making things right and then some. My experience with BMW of Sioux Falls has overall been a positive one. I have always been greeted with a smile and pleasant attitude. This being my first purchase from SF BMW it is hard to know what to expect after the initial purchase, especially when it comes to service work. Being someone who likes cars (mostly expensive cars) I tend to buy more often than most. The purchase of my first BMW was great and I love my M! Within the first week however there were some minor things which required a trip to service. No problem, all is good...except one trip turns into two and then three and so on. The service advisers are always kind and get you where you need to go as well as apologetic when it comes to repeat trips. Where I am getting a little frustrated is it seems the "premium" experience may not trickle into the shop. I am not sure if it is experience or knowledge but I always drive away feeling like my car is a learning platform for their techs. I know BMW has strict requirements of their techs and from what I understand SF BMW used to have 3 that were top notch. I get diagnosing a performance car is tricky. I know I certainly do not have what it takes...but I certainly can spot a leak. Anyway a part needed to be ordered and I was told I would have my car in the morning. Well I go to pick up a loaner which they didn't hesitate to provide. All is good until I need to grab something out of my car. I was handed a key but not my key... Again not a big deal, my key was located and I got what I needed out of my car. What I did NOT like to see were dirty engine parts inside my car leaning against my leather seats...not cool. I left without saying anything as I figure maybe this is what they do so as to not lose them? Well the part didn't show up... Hard to say and I do understand shipping delays but what I will never know is was the part ordered? Was it ordered within the time needed for overnight delivery? Who knows, I just want my car fixed and home in my garage. When the service manager called me he was pleasant and apologetic. I could tell he was seasoned when it comes to customer service. He did assure me that it is not normal practice to put engine compartment parts inside on the passenger side. I guess what I am trying to get at (if you have stuck with me) is that it is the little things that count. When people are spending the amounts they do on premium vehicles they expect that to spill over into the entire experience. I should not have to drive across town to have my oil timer reset after servicing the vehicle. My vehicle should be as clean (or cleaner) than when it was brought in. All fluid levels & tire pressure should be checked whenever in the shop. It is a complete luxury experience you are selling. This includes the quality of work performed and how the tech goes about doing it. Your competitors are doing these things... I hope people read this in its entirety as I am not mad in any way. I am just disappointed in what could be an exceptional experience.

A great place to buy a car! I would recommend Jake if you are looking to buy a vehicle here. Jake was very easy to work with and extremely helpful and responsive to my car-buying needs. The price on the vehicle I purchased was competitively priced and their "one price" approach eliminates the need to waste time negotiating. The dealership also made a very fair offer on my trade right away, again eliminating the feeling of a frustrating car-buying experience and wasting time. They cut out all the hassle and it makes the whole experience much easier. If you are looking to purchase a vehicle, I would recommend speaking with Jake at Luxury Auto Mall of Sioux Falls.
