I live in Rapid City. I had been looking for a vehicle for quite a while. I had gone to about every dealership in Rapid, and always walked away unhappy with how I was treated, pushed around, and lied to. I had stepped onto a car lot in Rapid and was pushed into buying a vehicle that was never on my list of potential vehicles for me. The day after I purchased the vehicle, I knew I just hated what I had purchased. I went back to the dealership and asked to reverse the transaction (I had traded off another vehicle). The dealership said no. So there I was, on the market to purchase yet another vehicle while needing to trade off the one I had just purchased, and was totally upside down on my loan. While looking online, I found a couple vehicles that I liked on Auto Choice’s lot. I contacted them and asked for some rough numbers on what they would give me for a trade on my vehicle before I made the drive from Rapid City to Spearfish. They offered me over trade value for my vehicle, but obviously they needed to see the vehicle before those numbers were any more than just rough numbers. I decided to make the trip to Spearfish. Auto Choice gave me exactly what they had quoted for my trade, which was a very fair number. I ended up purchasing the first vehicle that I test drove and I love this vehicle! Auto Choice agreed to pay to replace the DVD player that the previous owner had removed from the vehicle. We put this in writing. I had the DVD player fixed and Auto Choice stuck to their word and paid to replace it. While testing the DVD player and monitor, I realized that the monitor did not work very well. I contacted Auto Choice and asked if they would help to replace the monitor, as well, since I was unable to test the monitor when I purchased the vehicle, due to there being no DVD player. Without hesitation, Auto Choice agreed to pay to replace the monitor, and the monitor was never part of our written agreement to replace the DVD player. I now have a very good, working DVD player and monitor. My salesman was always very polite. I never felt as if I was being lied to or pushed into anything. I traded off my vehicle and purchased another one, and only spent about 3 hours at the dealership (when I purchased the vehicle that I hated, I spent all day at the dealership). Auto Choice’s facility looked very nice and was clean. I had a great experience purchasing a vehicle at Auto Choice! When I am ready to upgrade my Armada, I will definitely be back!

Bought a car here two years ago. My fault I didn't ask for the Car Fax but asked if it had been in a wreck and was assured it wasn't. I go to trade in the car and am told the Car Fax shows a accident before I had bought it. I am from out of town and they knew that and got taken advantage of. I wouldn't recommend buying from them specially without asking for a Car Fax. I clearly am not the only one they have done that too after reading more reviews since I bought the car.

In June I purchased a 2007 Aspen Chrysler from Auto Choice. When I test drove the vehicle prior to buying it – it became obvious there were electrical problems. The dealership assured me – no problem they would get it fixed. I was told the necessary parts were ordered and replaced and the vehicle was good to go. I in good faith believed them paid for the vehicle and drove it off the lot. Within 5 weeks of purchase I again encountered electrical issues. I took it to my local mechanic service to have diagnostics ran. The mechanic discovered remnants of an old mouse nest in the engine and electrical wires that had been chewed. On the mechanics recommendations I contacted the dealership to explain what was found – since the presence of the partially cleaned out mouse nest and chewed wires were a definite indication the dealership had not ensured the car was “good to go” as I had been told. I did call Auto Choice, explained the situation, gave them the mechanic’s phone number and the diagnostic codes so the mechanics from the dealership could contact the shop where the Aspen was and confirm what I had explained. I was told they would contact the mechanic and call me back again, I believed them. When neither happened, I attempted to contact the manager again to further investigate. Twice my calls went straight to voice mail when I used my personal phone. So, I borrowed a phone and called the general number. Interestingly my call was answered by the same salesman that had sent me to voice mail 30 seconds before. This time I was informed, any problems with the Aspen were “my problems”, that the dealership was no longer responsible for the vehicle they had sold to me with the guarantee their mechanics had fixed everything and it was “good to go” – This was with the knowledge that I was counting on my new Aspen to transport my daughter and I to and from Children’s Hospital in Denver for her medical needs. The salesman’s comment was, and I quote “Sorry your plate is so full; when it rains it pours”. Please- please before you purchase a vehicle from this dealership make sure you have it checked out by a reputable mechanic before spending any money. I can honestly say once the money exchanges hands – the employees are much less concerned about their customers.

Test drove a car, considered purchase, ask for Car-Fax, was given Experian Report. Was then told BMW had been involved in minor car accident. Asked for and was provided repair bill (which showed NO air bag parts or repairs). Decided to go ahead and sign contract for car and give deposit. Two days later, I ordered Car-Fax (had a nagging feeling), which indicated accident was much worse than represented by Experian Report and by dealership. Called authorized repair shop. Called to verify Car-Fax report of Air bag deployment, they indicated this information was provided by state trooper that assisted at accident scene and was correct. Also spoke with daughter of original owner, who indicated air bags had indeed deployed, and this car was involved in bad accident, should not buy it. Minor accidents do not involve air bag deployment. Check fact before you buy!!!!

This was the best deal we found anywhere online for the vehicle we wanted. I was impressed right away by his great customer service and the ease with which you can talk straight with him. When we came to pick up the vehicle, we noticed a big crack in the windshield that wasn't there the day before, and they stood behind it, and replaced the windshield the next week. While that would normally scare me, Preston was tremendously easy to work with and very transparent and honest. I never felt like I was dealing with a "used car salesman" or any other stereotype I felt like we were appreciated and cared for the entire time. Bought a car for my son back in October without checking the car fax report first. I was assured the car had not been in an accident or had any major mechanical failures. Had alignment issues and ended up finding out that the car had been in a collision which was confirmed by the car fax report. I wouldn't recommend doing business with this dealership at all. Please do research at any dealership when purchasing a vehicle. I am fortunate to be in a position to help my kid in college but a lot of people aren't and cannot afford to make a major mistake by dealing with a dishonest business.
