Kept throwing us through loops and we had to come back FOUR separate times for the same issue that happened after they put in a new engine when our old one mysteriously cut off while driving with no warning and no reason??? Careful of kias and this dealership! They still never fixed the problem and we are having it done elsewhere.

What’s the point In setting an appointment when you can’t get your car looked at at the appointment time , staff wasn’t eager to help was ready to just tell me anything so I would leave an then charge a 125 fee to look at the car to determine what’s wrong with it even though we already can tell??? Friendly staff although not very helpful. I bought my first Kia with them and the sales person went above and beyond. I know what he was working with, however when I revisited I was in and out within 15 minutes. The sales person nor the manager were willing to assist. If a customer is in and out of your sales room in that time span it shows that you didn't want the sale or you have all the business you can use. Either way, I was very disappointed. And yes, this is just my experience and my opinion.

They won't stand behind their product I have a 2017 Kia Cadenza let the paint all across the top on clear coat is faulty they blame it on acid rain and because of where I work it can't be true because I'm not the only one that have had issues with paint and the bottom half of the car looks very well so be cautious when you buy brand new they will not stand behind it. As to your reply everything came off of the windows and chrome as the pics I sent your sales team will show the rest of the problem is faulty paint if it were chemical etching from my plant it would not come off of the chrome and windows and the top of car you have to look closely after I detailed the car,but it is obvious that it is faulty paint or clear coat again this car is 2017 and there's many reviews of other people having the same issue that's what's great about media but I still stand by they just won't stand behind there product.

I gave this review 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ although I was about to do differently and here's why: First off, this is my first ever visit to Stokes Kia. I am a real customer who bought a car yesterday and only because my wife loves the Soul! Anyway, Ben took care of us and is both a knowledgeable salesperson and a high level professional. He attended to everything we needed, explained what was murky, and delivered on the Stokes promise "Best Value". To be fair, there were 3️⃣ three issues I faced and maybe I can explain to make it easier for you: 5 year/60K warranty starts from the day the vehicle began service (was sold or leased). If you're considering CPO, ask this question first! Next, there are NO free or discounted oil changes. You'll never bite that dangling

AVOID STOKES KIA! Buy and get service from another dealer. Customer Service is not a priority. While I like our KIA I would definitely choose a different dealer since customer service and the long-term relationship it entails is a big part of a vehicle purchase. It is clear that management has fostered an attitude of ‘we’ll get to it when we get to it’. Our vehicle was at dealership for over 2 months sitting out on lot awaiting a new engine as part of the KIA recall. After picking up the vehicle, the check engine light came on in less than a week. The service department said we could drop it off and they would try to get to it in 3 days. We were also told that it probably did not have anything to do with the replacement engine they put in the car less than a week earlier! The proper response would have been to check the light immediately to determine the problem and provide a response. This is supposedly a brand new engine with less than 100 miles on it. Finally, we were told we could rent a car at our expense while our car sat on the lot for a few days til they could get to it. The attitude was ‘it is not our problem and you can get in line, we’ll get to it when we get to it’ (even though it was a KIA caused problem). The customer is not a priority and Stokes KIA is not going to even acknowledge it may be related to the replacement engine. I was told it may be bad fuel. It may be but that is a patronizing response and demonstrates that the dealership does not recognize its responsibility in the vehicle recall nor its responsibility or respect of its customers in prioritizing making the situation right. Customers are numbers to Stokes KIA and they have plenty so you as a customer are not important to them. The attitude is they were doing us a favor by repairing KIA’s error (and by being a KIA dealer their error). Stokes KIA didn’t even perform a quick wash before pick up which, while not required, would have been a very small no cost to them nicety considering the two month inconvenience that was caused by KIA. Contrast the poor customer service attitude at STOKES KIA with the above and beyond attitude at PARAMOUNT KIA OF ASHEVILLE (we have a home in Asheville). When I explained the problem to PARAMOUNT KIA OF ASHEVILLE, they asked me to bring it in immediately and they would check to see if it was related to the recall or the engine replacement. They also offered appointment times to have it checked at my convenience. STOKES KIA would not specify a time nor take any responsibility for the issue. Upon arrival at PARAMOUNT KIA OF ASHEVILLE I was given the phone number of the service manager to call or text with anything. The service manager has stopped by the waiting area twice in less than an hour to update waiting patrons on the status of their service and ask if they have any questions or need anything. The ‘customer is a priority attitude’ is shared by every member of the PARAMOUNT KIA OF ASHEVILLE service department. The difference is night and day. We are fortunate that we have an alternative to STOKES KIA and its horrible customer service attitude. It is worth the trip to Asheville from Charleston for the difference in customer service attitude. It is worth your time in the future to find a dealership that will appreciate your business. That dealership in NOT STOKES KIA.

I would never bring my car back here. Service was horrible. I waited 7 hours for nothing to be done to my car. Was completely done with this place. Tried to give them another chance because my car persisted to have the same issue. Was told that they can't make the issue happen again so I can just pick up my car. When asked if it was even checked by a service tech yet, they told me no it was the attendees personal opinion. Only to find out I have to replace my battery. I will never EVER do business here again. My first time owning a KIA and it will truly be my last. This place gives KIA a horrible reputation.

Super frustrated with how long it is taking to get our car fixed. It took them 4 days to give me an answer of what was going on with the car. We have this vehicle only to get us all back and forth to work and I have had to pay almost 750.00 on a rental that's not even including the deposit for the rental. We were told previously that they do not give out rentals that I would need to pay for it. I called Enterprise instead. Usually their staff is on point. Josh and especially Cole are amazing. When you are paying so much a month for a vehicle you expect the dealership to make you feel like a priority and was told they have a bunch of other cars ahead of ours. 4 days later we find out the problem that is going to cost me almost a thousand dollars to fix. I could have taken the car anywhere but we have liked Kia and that's why we brought it there. I will not bring our car back if they cannot provide us a car to drive while ours is being worked on. The rental on top of the cost yo fix the car is mind blowing.

No sense of urgency,no empathy for customers, no idea what parts are covered under warranty, no appointments for 3 weeks to have your car looked at. Just all around terrible. My experience with this place has been beyond HORRIBLE. To be honest I wouldn't even give them a star. I have taken my vehicle to this place four times for the same issue and they haven't fixed the issue as of yet. However, I have managed to spend hundreds of dollars on multiple services that I was told should fix the issue. I did a lot of research online before going to the lot. I decided to take a test drive and went to Stokes Kia. I was promptly greeted by Devon and after looking at the different options for the model I wanted, I took a test drive. Devon answered all of my questions and offered information on the differences between the FE, LX, EX, and Touring models. I had all of my questions answered, received a decent price on my choice, and was able to get everything I wanted. Definitely a great place. I have had service work done before on my old 07 Rio and have always had pleasant experiences.

Went by Kia in goose creek in hopes of looking at some models of the Kia rio5 or forte5 or any models really. On my arrival i was approached by one salesman named: ALLEN GLASS, he was very RUDE, ARROGANT, and did not help me what so ever. When i informed him that i was buying a car next year and was wanting to look at some models wanting to see size inside, options offered ect..i told him the models i had in mind....right away he tells me they have NO models that fit my needs, NO brochures...it seems hes favorite word was NO......then he told me ...quote....."where here to sell cars, not just look at them and if ur not buying u need to leave the lot or go somewhere else". I had to basically look around myself, NO PRICES ON CARS EXCEPT FOR THE ONES NEAR ROAD the souls. NO PAPERWORK ON ANY CARS ON LOT BUT THE PRE OWNED ONEs....AND EVEN THOSE NO PRICE......So basically he ran off a FUTURE customer, this jerk even referred me to West Ashley kia.....I DEFENTILY WILL NOT EVER BUY A CAR FROM GOOSE CREEK KIA thanks to this RUDE, ARRAGNONT AND UNFRIENDLY salesman ALLEN GLASS.

I went in with an issue , told them what I was being told by a mechanic, they told me he didn't know what he was talking about. I just needed an oil change. I brought my 2015 Optima in for a 60,000 mile service. I made an appointment online earlier in the week, then called to verify the appointment and to get a cost estimate. When I brought my car in for the appointment I was told the wait time might be a few hours, given the type of service requested. Rather than wait in the lobby for hours, I was offered a free ride home from their shuttle service. I returned a few hours later, slightly earlier than the time my car was scheduled to be finished. I waited in the lobby for maybe 30 minutes. They have a comfortable seating area with drinks, snacks, magazines, and a TV. When my car was finished, the cost for the 60,000 mile service was the same price that was quoted earlier in the week over the phone. I purchased my car from this dealership in 2016 and have brought the car to their service department for each oil change / routine maintenance. The service department and sales team have never let me down. I will continue doing business with Stokes Kia.

i wanted to give an excellent review of Micheal Tucker! Man oh man, he is a great man & an even better salesman! It was my first time shopping for cars & my first car in general. I came in knowing exactly what i wanted & how i wanted it to look! He took me outside showed me exactly what i wanted, talked the car up, and then we rode it out. I have been coming to this place ever since I got my Kia car. They were happy to take my warranty and have very friendly service. They offer courtesy snacks and water while your car is being serviced. I do like that they keep you updated and informed on your car. Make sure to mention any questions and concerns you have in advance so they can check on it. They have also been great with explaining and answering my questions regarding my vehicle. It is good to be educated on your car. The downside is if you have to take their shuttle, it feels like eternity to wait and may cause you to be late to work so plan on arriving early for your appointment. The other downside is that my car was serviced and it said there was a courtesy vaccum on my floor Matt's and I could barley tell the difference, it looked like a rushed job. I really appreciate the men working on my vehicles and understand how it is not the most cleanest job but I suggest putting in a courtesy air scent for when we get our cars back so it could smell fresh again. Overall a good place and I will return for my future services.

I'm advised not to take the rental out of town because my car will be ready Wednesday and Kia will only pay for 2 days after it's fixed. I don't normally do these reviews but these guys and gals definitely deserve it. I give 5 stars and justifiably so. I arrived at Stokes Kia like most customers. Heard a ad on the radio and figured I would swing by and see what they had on the lot. I was politely greeted by Billy a salesman. After a short talk about what I was trying to accomplish we proceeded inside to get a value of my trade. In 10 minutes of being at the dealership I had my trade value and was able to browse the cars on the lot. I departed the dealership with no pressure of returning. Today I revisited stokes Kia and continued the process. In a short time they had me approved and a vehicle selected. I have never had such a smooth purchase of an automobile. I apologize for not remembering all the employees names who were involved in my purchase but you all were amazing. If there is a dealer in South Carolina that does it right, I assure you its these guys. Thanks again to all the staff for making me feel welcome and not pressured throughout the process. -Jonathan

Horrible service! I went there for a recall on my forte and was told it would take up to 2 hrs. I added on an oil change and my car wasnt ready until over 7 hrs later! Then they did a tire rotation that I didnt ask for and charged me for it! Service used to be good but this is the 2nd time in a row that I have had a bad experience there! And when you talk to the staff it's obvious they dont have a care in the world! My next car definitely wont come from Stokes Kia! $63.85 for an oil change and tire rotation! SAD!!! I cant wait for the survey!

I was not expecting much outside of the normal dealer experience. Pressure sales tactics, pushy salesmen. Well - We all hear the radio ads, 'We wanna see ya' in a Kia!'. After going to this dealership, and working with Chris (and the sales manager's name I cannot remember at this time), I believe 100% that earning your lifetime business is their goal. After expressing where I wanted to be with trade in and financing (which was unrealistic, as most buyers usually are ...) they came back with numbers that only a dealership that wants to earn your lifetime business would come back with - They gave me a sweetheart of a deal, and I walked out to think it over (and get second opinions on my trade in). These guys gave me $1500 more than the next dealership for my trade in and worked to get me rebates that no one else would've. When I returned after realizing the amazing deal I had walked away from - they still honored their original offers - even knowing they could've pulled back. I am loving my 2016 Kia Optima, and can attest that Stokes Kia has earned my business. I plan on bringing my car in for maintenance and when the time comes up again to purchase my next vehicle - this will be the one (and only) place I will be visiting. They are willing to make the deals that no one else will, because they wanna see ya' in a Kia! If you are hesitant between choosing between this dealership and a competitor - let me tell you - this is the one you want to be in - day in and day out. They will work for you and not against you. I recently had bought the new Telluride from Stokes Kia. It was a really good experience and I love the car. JJ was my sales guy who was really helpful in getting me all the information I needed. We have been trying to get a refund for our gap insurance for about 6 months now but this place refuses to call us back. They keep telling us to talk to finance, so we do and then we leave a message, because no one answers the phone, and never receive a call back. All I can say is Stokes Kia has terrible service. I've never had a problem getting a refund for our gap insurance from any other dealer that I've dealt with until now.

I bought two vehicles through Stokes, which was 5 stars. The problem I have is I also bought the oil change plan through them but when i call to get an oil change it is 4 to 6 weeks out. Every where else I call is a next week appointment. Sorry but if your service department is that far behind I am going somewhere else

To be honest, this dealership and service center has been the best in all of my interactions with car places. We have 2 cars that we trust with Stokes Kia. The prices are direct and usually lower than other places. Also, the service is of excellent quality. Not once have my wife and I felt misled or disappointed here.

The phone app with Chantal was great and super informative. But once I got there it was completely different. I stopped by to do a trade in appraisal. I let them know I was going to be having a copy signer and he would be coming up there but they did the pre approval without him. Told me my credit was too bad so I would have to put more then $2000 down or they couldn't help me, period. And then proceeded to drink his drink, play on his computer and acted like I wasn't there. All while I was sitting there.

I am not one to write reviews on anything, unless it’s an amazing experience, or very awful; but this is one of those situations. We were in the market for a Kia Sedona due to our growing family, we needed something soon. Being from Myrtle Beach we naturally went to the dealerships near us, after much deliberation and research on multiple vehicles we had finalized our choice. We picked out a the a Kia we wanted, however, once we reviewed the numbers we realized that the sales manager at the Myrtle Beach Kia dealer was really trying to screw us over (for lack of a better word) I understand making money, but then there is just plain greedy. Frustrated, and very pregnant, I called down to Stokes Kia, where I spoke with a very helpful receptionist, who promptly transferred me over Jeff Davis, I told him my situation and what I was looking for, as well as the specs on my current trade in vehicle. He took the time to talk and find out our needs, and empathetic of our situation. Not more than a couple hours later, he called me and found me the exact same vehicle I wanted, and saved us thousands of dollars for the EXACT same car! He was great about giving us a good deal right off the bat and not dealing with all the haggling, that you will find more often than not. We drove down that same day, he had done everything ahead of time, the car was cleaned, full gas tank, and he was waiting for us. We signed the papers, and drove away in our new Sedona. We love our new Kia, he has made us customers for life! I would highly recommend Stokes Kia.

I recently purchased a Sportage. I asked about trading in a car but they wouldn’t give me very much towards the purchase of a new car. The very next day I hear on the radio that they are giving a minimum of $5000 for a trade in. I wish they had given me a heads-up because I would have waited a day. They did give me a discount but the difference between the discount and the $5000 would have paid my car payment for 4 months. I am a repeat buyer and expected better. I also contacted Stokes via their website and through the customer service survey without any response. Will not be buying from them again.

They sent me a coupon book. Oil change for $29.95. I called and got an appointment for my wife. She showed up right on time. 2 HOURS later she finally was done. Then they tried to shame her into some overpriced filters. At the end she presented the coupon and they refused to honor it and said they must have the booklet there to see it. Total bad service and we will absolutely NEVER go there again. Why do they insist on misleading you?

So I decided to check this place out because of their ad on the radio. It stated that they will give you a minimum of $5k on your trade. I called and spoke with someone and explained to them that i didn't have money to put down and told him where my credit was. I told him what vehicles I was interested in and he said he could do the $5k trade in deal on those. He told me to come in and they will do what they can to get me in a new vehicle and that they are the number one rated dealership in the area. When I arrived the place looked like a ghost town. There were a few employees in an office near the entrance that had to see me walking around but nobody said anything to me. One employee even walked passed me and didn't say a thing. After hanging around for at least 20-30 minutes someone finally approached me and got a salesman to assist me. I sat down with this gentleman and asked about the vehicles and he said he couldn't do that deal on those. He also said that he couldn't take my trade without something down and that they were not giving $5k for trade in but adding the incentives to make it look like they gave $5k. He then told me that the gentleman I spoke with was from the credit department and they will say anything to get me to come in. He actually said he would refer me to Stokes VW. This was a waste of my time and gas and this isn't the first time I was mislead by a Stokes dealership ad.

I went to Stokes Kia in Goose Creek a couple of months ago just to look at vehicles. My fiance and I couldn't get anything then, but Owen Fussey gave us his card for when we were ready to get another vehicle. My fiance asked if I wanted to go back and look again and we did this past Saturday. I called Owen before we left the house and we were helped as soon as we walked into the building. We did end up getting another vehicle and it only took about 3 hours. Overall, our experience was really good and Owen was very friendly and knowledgeable the entire time. Thank you again Owen!

Bought a new Sportage on a Saturday afternoon and ended stayed until 10:00 that night completing paperwork. I forget having the mats replaced with all weather mats after spending 6 hours at the dealership. When I contacted the dealership the following Monday to see about having them changed out, there was no effort on anyone's part to help me. The only thing I was told is I would have to purchase new floors mats ($125.00) since I already took possession of the car even though I took the original mats out so they wouldn't get dirty. If this is the type of service I can expect after buying a car from these guys you can bet I'll look elsewhere for my next purchase. I guess after you sign the dotted line you no longer exist.

I initially told them to check the batteries in the car(which I have a 2013 Kia Optima Hybrid) because the notification popped on screen CHECK BATTERY. They told me to bring car an they'll check it. Cool! They didn't check either battery in my car. All they did was see that it was time for the transmission to be checked an update( which online already said that). They didn't provided a rental(they told me they were), and they kept giving me a different date when my car would be ready. Stokes Kia had my car almost two week an didn't check nothing I originally asked to be checked. When they finally called me to come get my car because it was ready, in the same day I got my car IT CUT COMPLETELY OFF IN TRAFFIC right down the road from the dealership......I could've lost my life, but did they care?? NOPE! I had my car towed back to the dealer. They called back the next morning to ask why is the car back???? I told them what happened(which I called the night before as well) They checked the car an texted me an said" That my hybrid battery is dead an I have to pay them $500!!!! Why the battery is under warranty???? Then they said "Oh its the regular battery...Well I originally called from the beginning to let yall know that something is wrong with the battery but they never checked it which again could've caused me MY LIFE!!!!!! They never apologize or nothing..... For my inconvenience they should've put my battery in for free but they didn't!!! STATE FACTS!!!!!!!!! YOU ALL RECIEVED MY CAR THE WEEK BEFORE THANKSGIVING....YOU CAN SEE WHEN I WAS CONTACTED ABOUT GETTING MY CAR, BUT THATS NOT WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. I SAID WHEN I GOT MY CAR BACK ON DEC 5TH FROM YOU GUYS IT WAS TOWED BACK DEC 5TH NOT A WEEK LATER...(SO STATE FACTS) YOU CAN SEE IN THE MESSAGE ON THURSDAY DEC 6TH WAS WHEN HE WAS REPLYING BACK AFTERWARDS...SO DO NOT COME BACK ONLINE ABOUT "STATING FACTS"....BUT FOR EVERYONE READING THIS IT JUST PROVES WHAT I WAS SAYING. I had my 2016 Kia Sorento serviced here for the last 2 yrs or so. I did not purchase that car at Stokes, but had nothing but amazing service from the everyone in the service department. My husband took my car in to be serviced about 2 weeks ago, and while waiting, looked at a few cars for our son. I scheduled a test drive online. Owen Fussey was the salesman, he gave my husband his card, financials and to hubs to call if he had any questions. We called him the next and asked him to start he paperwork please and that we decided to purchase the test driven car. Mark Craven was great also, not pushy... very informative about all options and warranty options available. We were in and out quickly and received excellent service from all involved. I loved my son's car so much so traded mine in and got a new one. 2 cars in 7 days. I contacted Owen via email around 1 p.m. with what I wanted & he had everything I wanted and asked for when I arrived. This is an amazing dealership. I have been to the other one here in the Low Country and will never go back, Stokes Kia is outstanding.

If the review would let me I would not give any stars, they surely do not deserve any. My husband and I used to take our cars there, but after the last time we were treated so horrible we will never go back. The technicians there have left equipment under our hood and didn't find it till after we got home, the last time they left the engine cover off. When i called them to complain and asked for a partial refund for all the issues we had the service manger accused us lying and trying rip them off. I have never been treated this way by any company before. The manager berated my husband and yelled at him, we were so taken back by this, never again will we go back. We now dive an extra 30mins and take our cars to Kia of Charleston and so far they have been the most respectful and nice to us.

I am very upset with the service department. I took my Kia in for window regulators, I was told there was nothing wrong with them. When I picked my car up there was white stuff all over my windows and some kind of grease down my door panel that put a stain on it. I called and told them what happened and the service adviser said he would call me back after he speaks to his manager. A week went by and I called and was told that person was no longer with the company, so I once again had to explain the problems. Made another appointment and once again more issues, I was told there was ashes in my door that was causing the windows to be slow at going up and down. This really upset me because had they not prayed the chemical down my doors in the first place that would not have happened, pick the car up again to find the tint on my drivers side window damaged and scratches on my passenger side. I am still having issues with my windows and I had been told they replaced the regulators. I had also complained about my steering making noises when turning the wheel. I was told that I needed some kind of grease sprayed on the bottom of my car. I still have problems with the steering. I called once again and complained about the same issues, no one called me back until about 2 weeks later and I was told I needed new struts. Something that does not need replacing at 60,000 miles, they did say they would do that for free. I still have not received a call back about my damaged window tint and door panel that they wanted to paint to hide the grease stain. I would really like to have my vehicle back the way it was and my issues resolved as soon as possible, Lets see how long this takes. I really do not want have to write another review, but I will.

Ran credit prematurely before numbers were agreed upon and without my consent. When I called them out on it, they wouldn’t own their mistake and instead of an apology their manager states, “it’s an automatic part of their process.” I understand my credit needs to be ran, but it should be disclosed when it’s going to be ran. Bad business practice that needs to be fixed especially if this is the normal way they operate.

I used to love this place with great service and nice staff (only reason for the 3 stars) went to get my oil changed last night and had to wait 2 hours and 20 min. FOR AN OIL CHANGE that I had an appointment for. When I asked what took so long the lady very rudely told me there was only one tech to do it, and was doing two cars at a time. I would say I get the short staff situation but, others came and left in the time I spent sitting there. She was also rude from the moment I stepped into the building. I wish this place was better as I had a very good experience when I bought my Kia a few years ago.

Bought my 3rd Kia on 08/10/2015. Got the best deal ever! Jim Reeves answered my email and had me a payment quote within 1 hour! He was never pushy or condescending towards me. Mark Pressman gave me a great trade for my 2012 Kia Forte. Two weeks later I took my 20 year old daughter to get a new car. Jim Reeves and Chris helped us get her into a brand new 2015 Kia Forte at a price she could afford. Again, Mark Pressman gave us a great trade in value on her Honda...and a little pep talk on taking care of vehicles. Matt, was by far the easiest finance person I have EVER worked with. They employees are RUDE & NASTY! My sisters and I went on different occasions and that sale that says they’ll buy any trade in is a lie! My sister tried to trade her car in and a salesman told her that her car is not worth it and that she would have to put down 6000 just to get a car. The manger was also nasty too. She was speaking to the manager and the manager told her “what was she trying to trying accomplish” as if she didn’t want a car. The whole experience was just horrible. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THEM TO NO ONE.
