I bought a 2019 Chevy Trax in January of this year, I have taken it back 3 times to get the HVAC system fixed, I also had to take it back to have the radio replaced, I have filled a complaint with GM and I have called the customer service and my call has yet to be returned. I went back to the dealership and asked to trade it in for another vehicle and they wanted a huge down payment, I have found out that they have sold me a vehicle that is a lemon and the lemon law does not mean anything to Richard kay,if I had known I would have known this before I would have definitely went to another dealership, the lemon dose not exist for Richard kay superstore.

If you are buying a car good but dont lease one. The lease company will harrass you. I finally turned my lease in a little early because of the harrassment. Now the lease company is saying i owe them money. So please dont lease a car thru them. The car was in excellent condition, only had 22,000 miles on it. I was actually going to buy the car but they harrassed me so much. I paid my payment in full for 2 years.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my Sierra SLT August 21st. It was a good experience and the staff is very helpful. Pricing was second to none, that wonderful Labour Day sale was fantastic. My consultant Steve Bolt is very knowledgeable of his craft, easy going "not pushy" and have lots of patience (I could be a bit needy), I viewed many trucks before I agreed on my SLT. In addition to Steve, Aaron was also very helpful showing me all the new technology available in the truck. He made me feel like I had the knowledge to get started using all the gadgets available to me. Service - Cornelius is also very helpful, he goes the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied with work performed on your vehicle. The showroom and service areas are very clean and inviting. OH!!! there's even snacks, soft drinks and water available at no cost while you are on the premises. I would like to add more to my review. This time it’s about service after the sale. Blair contacted me just like he said he would. I took my car in for a minor flaw which they promptly fixed and Ashley gave me a shuttle ride back to my home while they fixed it. This lady should be a professional Uber driver. Ashley kept me laughing and entertained the whole time. Blair even went over to check on my car and called me. I have never had a salesperson do that before. So FIVE STARS to Blair, Dana,and Ashely for making every visit to Richard Kay better than the last.

This is my third time purchasing a car from Richard Kay. This last time I was getting rid of a 2017 Toyota Tacoma. I looked very hard around but came back and bought a GMC Sierra 2019 ! When you find a good car dealer it is like finding buried Gold ! You will always find a way to come back! We’ve spent 30 years in the customer service business. Almost 20 of it was spent working as a service manager for Mercedes and Cadillac stores. And now as local business owners in Anderson, we’ve spent a lot of time being trained to deliver high levels of customer service and we do it well.... and we expect it when we are the customer. All too often, almost routinely, I’m disappointed in the customer service of most businesses today. It almost seems a lost art. I had our new to us 2017 Sierra Denali serviced yesterday at Richard Kay and expectations for the experience were admittedly low.(Sorry) Man was I wrong. They knocked it out of the park from the time I scheduled the appointment(and had to change last minute) to the time I picked up my truck today it couldn’t have gone better if you were teaching a class on how to treat your customer. Nailed it. Thank you... please... for the love of all that’s s good... don’t change! Thanks guys. Everything is perfect on the truck and you guys are a credit to the industry. We’ll be back.

By far my worst customer experience...I've contacted the Service department on occasion and the only thing that is consistent is being turned away. From phone hang ups, to being told an inquired service wouldn't happen that day with no attempt to arrange a future appointment. All I can say is BUSINESS MUST BE GOOD. But fix your service department VS and it probably would be better. And just to clarify; no one has necessarily been rude, but definitely not motivated to service.

I was in need of a car. I had just been hit and knocked off the road by a 18 wheeler. The driver refused to stop. I drove my car straight to Richard Kay Superstore. Once on the yard a sales lady came out and we started talking cars. She was very kind and very friendly. She answered every question I asked. I drove off the yard in a GMC Terrain. It was the car I always wanted. Natalya, the sales lady made it all happen. The payments are right where I wanted them to be. I'll had the car about two weeks now. I am very satisfied with this car, and I love the way it rides and drives. Thanks Natalye for being so professional with me. You made it possible for me to own a 2019 GMC Terrain. Purchased a new vehicle from Richard Kay Superstore on a Friday. Got there at 9 am for a scheduled test drive and left the dealership with my new vehicle just before noon. This was by far the best experience I have had in purchasing a vehicle. Our salesman, Tim, was great. Very helpful and attentive. Tracy, the finance manager, completely changed my opinion of what a finance manager at a car dealership is. She was very helpful and not pushy at any point of the process. Aaron was great at explaining and demonstrating how the technology worked and did so at a great pace. Not only will I recommend the dealership and their staff to my family and friends, but I am looking forward to having my new vehicle serviced there as well!

Service on vehicles are awful ! Can't talk to a human . always sent to voice mail , want return your phone car. The only thing they are good for is selling new cars. I will never take my vehicles back there! They put to much responsibility on there desk clerk who don't know anything about a car. They really give you the run around .

I was disappointed with this visit because they did not reset my fuel filter percentage, not did they print me out a new service record for my oil change. I love Richard Kay Superstore but they really pissed me off today. I had an appointment for an oil change. My appointment time was 9:10 but I arrived at 8:50 after being checked in I sat in the waiting area for 2 hours. I am still sitting here waiting as I'm writing this review. I will find a more convenient place to have my oil changed from here on out. I stand corrected the guy that checked in did manage to vocally tell me that I checked in at 9 and that I was there for 2 hours. So an hour and 45 minutes! Thank you to Corneilus and the nice lady that was at the counter when I left. You are always super nice and I appreciate it!

We bought my wife a new 2018 GMC Terrain Denali from Blair. He went over and above since we wanted something very specific that they did not have in stock. He started by offering us a very fair trade for our 2012, which convinced us to put our trust in him to find what we wanted. Blair found us almost exactly what we wanted and we drove up from McCormick to take delivery. The purchase experience was fantastic with great support from Tracy in finance and Aaron "the tech Nerd". Tracy made the money part easy and smooth and Aaron spent about an hour and a half walking us through all the things the new Denali could do. I had a great experience dealing with Matt Moore and Brandon Greene. The dealership had a used truck I had been searching the internet for which I located on their website. I drove three plus hours to find the Tundra was exactly as advertised and in great shape. We made a deal within minutes. Finished up with Tracy Roberts and headed back home with a 2006 Toyota Tundra. Went to the dealership on Wednesday 9/12/18 just to talk price. I met a sale person (Tio Moss) . We discussed prices and I told him that other dealership had given me prices that were not close to what I wanted. He came back with a price that was reasonable. Within 20 minutes I gave him a check. To make this a long story short, I purchased my brand new 2017 Silverado at the dealership in Anderson. Within the purchase there was an agreement to take off the new tires off the trade in vehicle to put on the new purchased Silverado as well as it was outsourced to Truck Toyz to put a lift on the new Silverado. This agreement was made at the time of the trade in to avoid any warranties. I stay on top of my oil changes and tire rotations per the sticker that is filled out at the time of service of the miles (I travel 5 miles to work and back, I do not put many miles on due to less travel). Once the service is complete, I am given my keys and off with my day. Not a single tech has ever told me or provided anything wrong with my vehicle on the forms given after the service is done. I have been having issues with my tires rubbing raw on the inside where my tires tilt in and are now uneven as well as my ball joints have completely worn out to the point that Truck Toyz put new ball joints on. I have not been happy with the communication from the techs after each service and will not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle or get their vehicle serviced.

Then I asked about another problem I was having and was told I'd have to pay a diagnostic fee but that it would be covered under warranty if I wanted to pay the fee? My warranty contract clearly states. NO DEDUCTIBLE.

Simply an amazing experience my wife and I had at Richard Kay! Our salesman Steve was very helpful and communicated with us every step. The truck we wanted was in a pending deal and the second that deal was not made Steve called us and told us to get there fast. BK was very friendly also. He was very knowledgeable. Our last encounter was James in finance. He was pleasant to talk to and didn’t talk over our heads. He cut up a little with us. He made what has always been stressful for us into a breeze. All three of these guys stayed super late to make a deal with us! They all found a way to get it done. I felt horrible for keeping them over almost a hour after closing but not once did they show it to be a problem. They made me feel like they would stay as long as we needed them to. This was the least stressful buying a car has ever been for us!!! We dealt with two other dealerships the day before and neither made us feel more at home and comfortable as these three guys did. You have an amazing staff!!!! Please keep up the good work and we know The go to place for vehicles now!!!! I couldn’t be happier!

Please take your business somewhere else. This dealership will not give fair appraisal for used vehicles and will hassle you into buying a car for more then you can pay. At least that’s the case with KEN. The owner is very nice and polite but the staff is rude and pushy. I do not recommend or I will not go back.

I bought a 2018 GMC Sierra from Johnny who was very helpful, attentive and didn't pressure me to buy. It took a little longer than I expected to get the paperwork done, but in fairness, they had several people in line. They made sure they pointed out the soda, snacks and coffee area while we waited. Aaron was very helpful explaining the features of the truck as well. I think the only slight negative I had was that the clean up guys could have done a better job washing the truck, especially the windows. It wasn't that bad, but I still noticed it. Overall, very satisfied with the truck and Richard Kay.

Bought a Cadillac SRX with the extended warranty. I called there to get a copy of the extended warranty that I purchased & they do not have a copy of the extended warranty. It shows in the system that I DO have the coverage but they can’t give me a copy of my coverage?? Also, a friend from church bought a NEW Buick & her car wouldn’t crank. They told her to have it towed in. This lady is in her late 70’s, she buys a brand new Buick from you & hasn’t had it 6 months & she is told to have it towed??

My wife and I just moved to Anderson. I am in the U.S. Army and am stationed here for Recruiting duty. I initially came in and ordered Headamps to replace my factory ones on my 2018 Camaro. Set the appointment date to have them installed and dropped my car off on said date. The Service department calls me and tells me the headlamps that were ordered were not compatible so they had to re-install my Factory ones. The service tech broke the harness kit trying to re-install my headlamps so they had to keep my car for an extra day to overnight the part and fix it. I go to pick it up it up this evening and notice that the front bumper was damaged during the service. The left bumper area is caught on the headlamp, causing it to protrude and bend. The manager that I spoke to, Mark(Super nice bald guy), informed me that I would have to bring it back Monday to get it fixed. This is unexceptable and a failure on Richard Kay’s Service department. Only positive takeaway from this was that Mark was really understanding and genuinely wanted to help anyway he could.

Don't expect them to let you get a third party to evaluate the car! What were they trying to hide? I am in the market for a high end SUV. Made an appointment to test drive a CPO GMC with the understanding that I could take it to my own mechanic for a Pre-purchase inspection. I did this with no problem at all at Park Chevrolet in Charlotte. I was assured I could do this at Smith Chevrolet in Laurens. At Richard Kay, salesman Kent insisted I tell him what I would be willing to pay for the car beforehand. I explained that I couldn't give an answer about what I would pay for the car until I drove the car and had my mechanic look at it. Apparently they like to sell cars to mindless people who will drop over $47,000 without getting a third party to make sure the asking price is legit.

Our experience at Richard Kay Superstore was superb my wife Diane said lets just go to the dealership and see what they had in the Cadillac series of vehicles. When we entered we were greeted by Barrett Cox who showed us the used car market and then introduced us to the new Cadillac XT5 that my wife fell in love with. Barrett gave us a test drive and we were convinced this was the vehicle for us. He was super in giving us a cost market review and the dealership benefits for us and after four hours we met the manager and found the vehicle for us. The staff besides Barrett we were introduced to Alan Davis another great person who toured us to the whole dealership and the service department. We met Rickk Mullinax, Mary Jo Spawn and Brittani Williams all great staff. Later we sat with Ms. Dana Bailey who was super in getting us the finance package we needed and maintenance program for our vehicle. Upon picking up our vehicle we then sat with Aaron Anandan another great staff member who took us thru all the super great electronic and computer functions that our vehicle has. He is well versed and helped us thru all the onboard functions for the XT5. We will look forward to the service staff and highly recommend the great Richard Kay Superstore.

Our salesperson, Mike Mattison was top notch. He took his time with us and I never felt rushed or pressured into anything. He covered every area in finding a GMC truck that would meet what I wanted. I have already recommended him to some friends if they are looking for a Vehicle. Also, Aaron was the best at reviewing and explaining all the features on my new GMC. He took his time and was knowledgeable about all the features. He answered all of my questions I had at the time. Aaron also said if I had anymore questions to call him anytime. Left vehicle overnight for service and noise in rear. Picked up following day. The noise in the rear was identified as "Air ride compressor coming on after first start up" but was described as normal, no problem found at this time. As owner of the vehicle, this is not a normal sound. I'm sure GM would not make cars with this noise that last for only a few minutes then settles down. I believe this part is and has been a problem for a while (maybe worse when starting in cooler temps). Vehicle is at 38,571 miles of the 50,000 mile warranty currently. Everything else completed as requested and in a timely manner.

Took my car in for a oil change, from the moment I checked in with my advisor, to the moment my tech asked to show me something on my car engine I was treated like a valuable customer. Tim, my tech obviously cares about the cars he works on, took the time while doing the 27 pt check inspection to show me where a critter had tried to build a next in bottom of my car's air filter box, making suggestions for follow up care. I had no idea, I really appreciate him showing me this, I definitely feel like this dealership treats me and my car with the same level of care as when I bought my car there 9 years ago. Checked to see if a car was on the lot before making the drive over and the salesman pulled the typical used car salesman stunts "Two people were looking at that car this morning and one said they were coming back this afternoon!! Better hurry!" Sure they were. Is that why it's been sitting on the lot for a month? Anyway, I ended up with a fair deal. I purchased a truck from Richard kay first off they were very pushy with their financing options they wanted 5000 down and would not tell me the interest rate. I went to my local bank and got the loan no money down and the payments were half of what they wanted so it appears that they were trying to swindle me. On top of that they were supposed to top off the gas tank and clean it up and assured me that all the recalls have been performed. Come to find out they put a half a tank in because there is a problem in the filler neck that they decided to turn their heads to. They did not clean it up and also the truck has two very dangerous recalls that have not been performed. So now it's my inconvenience to get my 1 year old truck up to date instead of that being done before my purchase. So I called the dealership multiple times to try to let them know what happened so maybe they would not do this to someone in the future (maybe a one time event). I never got a call back I finally called and got ahold of their customer care manager and discussed my concerns he said he would check into it and apologized and said he w a s sending me a gas card to fill up the tank that was three weeks ago. In short DO NOT purchase anything from this dealership unless you want to get taken advantage of, lied to,and taken to the cleaners. They would get zero stars if that was a option.

We went to Richard Kay just to test drive a Buick to see if my Husband liked it- we had no intentions of purchasing it or even getting to the point of discussing numbers. We were greeted by Michael Mattison and he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and did not pressure us to buy at all. We loved the car and after doing some research on KBB and Edmunds the car was priced very fair. We decided to proceed with the purchase, the process wasn't quick but also wasn't too bad. We negotiated a little for our trade-in before speaking with finance. My only issue was that while we were speaking with finance they were already switching our plates and assuming we were going to buy - we hadn't agreed on a number at this point. I understand the sales tactic but didn't really like that. Luckily we agreed on a price and drove home with the Buick that evening. Ovreall we were very pleased with the process and would highly recommend this dealership.

If you are used to a “real” Cadillac Sevice Center, this is not the place, as you will be disappointed! They offer no benefits for scheduling, no personal technician, no loner cars, nothing! Moved here and really miss Tom Kelley Cadillac back in Indiana and their service center but I have no other choice. My next vehicle will probably not be a Cadillac based on my experience. I looked at a new SUV and expressed my concerns over the service I have received and his response was “oh well I know they have some issues.” On a positive note they do have a few very personal and professional individuals on staff but others not so much! It’s the luck of draw on who you get!

I called the service department and asked for a quote to replace a steering wheel angle sensor. They refused to give a quote without doing a diagnostic on the vehicle for a cost of $129. After paying the fee and having them tell me it was the part I wanted the quote to replace, they said the repair cost was twice the amount of the two other repair shops I called. I think that is totally unreasonable and if they would have given me the quote I asked for in the first place, I could have saved myself time and money. I gave them 2 stars because they gave me a ride home while I waited for them to get done troubleshooting.

We normally deal with Kevin Whitaker, but decided to give Richard Kay a shot since #1 our normal salesman left Kevin Whitaker #2 Richard Kay had a better advertised price. There were 2 vehicles we wanted to look at. We were promptly greeted by Mike. I told him exactly what I wanted to see & he pulled both vehicles to the front, so we didn’t have to walk all over the lot. This was much appreciated, as I have a bad back. We test drove both vehicles & I selected the one I liked best. He completed the paperwork & turned it in. He kept us updated on the process so we weren’t just sitting there waiting with no clue as to what was happening. A deal was able to be made so we were taken to see Dana in the business office. All and all, I’m very happy with the experience. I did not give 5 stars because I was thrown off by not knowing what my payments/interest rate/finance company was until meeting with Dana. I’ve owned over 40 vehicles in my life and this is the first time I did not have the option to walk away prior to sitting down to “sign the dotted line”. I will revisit this dealership again for another vehicle purchase.

My wife took her car to get serviced yesterday for some codes on her vehicle. When she got back to work she noticed several dents and damage to her vehicle. It appears the service department does not care about your personal property. On top of that when we called back today (they were closed when she got off) the receptionist was rude and both managers are out until "next week". Do not do business with this dealer. Still no accountability for the issue. Pictures of damage below - bent license plate cover, 2 small dings and 1 big dent. *******Update- my wife called you Ken on Wed- never got a response from your voicemail. We were told you were out of town. I have now called, since your reply said to do so. Now I have to leave a voicemail. So yes I would love to review the video too. This isn’t a baseless claim but it speaks volumes that your business is discounting and not wanting to take accountability or rectify this issue!!!

Last week, (Aug. 5th) I submitted an on-line inquiry, and later purchased a very nice, pre-owned Chevy Silverado LS Z71 from Richard Kay Superstore, in Anderson, SC. My professional salesman, Mark Cooke, whom I had not previously met, was terrific in every detail, including providing a safe, courteous driver, Mr. Buddy Keowin, who picked me up at the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport at 7 p.m., for a ride to the Bleckley Inn. As an out of state purchaser, on Monday, I worked with Mark on the phone and via text to firm up details of this purchase, and within no time, we had the deal nearly completed except for my final payment and dealership documentation. Mark even picked me up at my hotel Tuesday morning, and upon dealership arrival, my Chevy Silverado was recently washed, serviced & ready to go. A "shout out" to the fine service staff, too! Within hours of leaving the Richard Kay Superstore, Mark called my mobile number to make sure my truck was performing safely, and as expected. I'm a commercial banker & experienced "car guy" which probably contributed to making the entire transaction go more smoothly.
