Not a place if you are a noob is the best way I can summarize this place. Four years ago, I walked in here with a couple friends to inquire about leasing a Honda CR-V. The salesman then, seemed pretty rude to me at first, but he still wanted to make a sale. This is my first time buying a car in the USA. I let that experience go, probably my fault. Last year when I was ready to buy the car back, I emailed the same salesman Mr. Andy Watson, and asked him if I could buy it back without visiting the dealership in Anderson, SC (since it was a long drive for me) to which he replied negative. This is however, not true. I later learned that I do not need to go to any dealer to purchase my car since the dealer has nothing to do with it. Secondly, when I went there, with my intentions clear to buy back the car and only the car, they started trying to sell car warranty to me. They did not mention about having to do a credit check, and obviously came with a very high interest rate for the financing option. As I've mentioned before, if you are a noob, do not go to this place!

My wife and I drove to this dealer with the intention to purchase a certified pre-owned CRV which was listed on the website. Upon arrival, the vehicle was found to be in terrible condition, with stains on the seats, dirt on the floorboard, and ants crawling all over. Our salesman, Charlie Coons, was extremely apologetic, and got his manager involved, since we had driven from Greenville to buy the vehicle. Together, they worked out an exceptional deal on a new CRV. Some may see this as bait and switch, but I did not get that impression. Mistakes are made, and I honestly feel that Charlie and his manager went above and beyond to rectify the situation by offering great value on a new vehicle. The CRV which we bought has been excellent for our family. This was two years ago, and it has stuck with me as being an example of great customer service. If we buy another Honda, we will buy from Charlie and his team.

I was excited to test drive the car I have been researching. I saw good reviews and thought that I would be greeted with great service. However, I was not met with great service, and did not appreciate driving 45 minutes out to test drive a car, only for them not to allow me to drive said car due to my "age". I believe a graduate from college who has had a clean driving record should not be discriminated against. I would have given this 0 stars if possible due to not benefiting at all from this trip. It sincerely was the worst dealership I have been to. I would not recommend this place to any college graduates. Go to Hendrick Honda where they would treat you better than this place.

The service department went above and beyond by replacing my drain plug and oil pan, changing my oil and providing me with a rental for my inconvenience without a single charge. Mr. Chris Earl what a guy, No pressure what so ever, nice, nice guy, can't say enough about how thoughtful, honest, forthright his dealing with me were. I had asked about the condition of the front suspension as was my only concern on the used truck I was considering purchasing, during the evening he spoke to the used car manager and they got it looked at by trained mechanic and it was as we thought just the tire issues, (knobby tires, very rough tire) . I wasn't a fan of this dealership before Carmen because of a bad experience with the person in their finance department. Carmen is precious! She has gone beyond what I've seen other salespeople do. Usually, after they make their sale they are done. Not her. I've had my vehicle for a little over a year and she still makes sure that I'm happy with my vehicle. She makes my service appointments for me, and if she's not busy she will visit with me while I'm in the dealership waiting for my vehicle. Carmen is an asset to that dealership. MUST READ. I was travelling for work about 90 miles away from home when my spark plug went out on me around 6 p.m. on a Friday. I went straight to Piedmont Honda to possibly resolve the issue. Not only did they fix my car and have me out the door in 25 minutes, they went over and above to make sure I was taken care of, knowing that I was stressed out about getting back home for the weekend. This is a statement about sales. Sales department is ok but if they can't meet YOUR price, go to Dick Brooks in Greer and ask for Lyman! Dick Brooks also has lifetime powertrain warranty for free on every new vehicle, which is just another added bonus over Piedmont.

Found the used car on line, sent an inquiry and was called back quickly. I drove to dealership, drove the car checked it out and purchased vehicle. The day after we picked up the vehicle it rained, we found that the windshield had a leak. I called the salesman and said, I know that there's no warranty but there is no way we could have known about that, can you take care of that? He stated he would check with used car manager and call back......no call. I called back but he was busy and told he would call.....no call.....today I was tolf he'd be in at 11 so again I left a message....no call. I've called four times today he does not answer his page. Just went to glass shop.....windshield had been replaced and wrong gasket installed. The windshield could actually be pushed out almost half an inch in the center with very little pressure. Now I'm spending $ 145 to have the windshield removed, correct gasket and sealant installed......thanks for the callbacks. Will not return! Okay. Did have an issue with the windshield and as I said no call backs. Had the issue repaired and today Manager Ken and salesman Chris both called today an offered to reimburse me for the repairs. Changed to 5 star thanks

I didn't have a horrible experience at Piedmont Honda but overall the staff their has deterred me from ever going back. The sales person who helped me was pretty informative and nice until I decided I wanted to leave because I wasn't ready to make a purchase. He also made my sister feel uncomfortable when I went to make a phone call by inquiring rudely who I was calling, which was my mom for some advice. The manager, who I liked the least, was also inconsistent with deals that the sales person gave me which the sales person later explained was because they were trying to present me with Black Friday deals early. I later decided to give them a second chance looking for an e-quote and even gave the name of the salesman in my request, mainly because I understand that car sales people are overall meant to be kind of pushy in hopes you buy from them. I got a different person which was fine but I explained my feelings about the situation. Instead, they ignored my interactions and acted as if I was a completely new person. They also provided me a quote which was worse than the quote provided to me by the original sales person. Overall, I just didn't appreciate how Piedmont Honda treated me as a potential buyer. Especially the manager who stated that I had "taken the fun" out of selling me a car after providing me with a quote. I felt like I was being treated as a young female who had no clue about car purchases and would be easy to make a quick buck out of because this was the first dealership I had visited. I didn't provide names because my experience does not necessarily mean your experience but I wanted to be honest about how I felt. I did end up buying a 2019 Honda HRV from another dealership and I love it.

He welcomed me and my wife and said, we will take care of your request and let you know when the work is completed on your car. It took about the required time and it was finished. I purchased a CR-Z from this location in the past. Today I brought it in for warranty work. My warranty has a $100 deductible and in the past my deductible has always been $100. In addition to that I've also had some warranty work done at a third party which also resulted in a $100 deductible. On this day a fan unit was replaced to cool the Hybrid battery. The bill came back at around $133. I did not understand why there was a charge past my deductible. A service manager came over to explain me that it was shop fees. For those of you that don't know this is things like rags and solvents. These sort of fees should be in the total cost and thus it could have been covered under my warranty like it had in the past and like it had at other shops. Only when I became annoyed did they offer to take off the $33 fee. However it was done so in a condescending tone as if who cares about $33. When it goes this far it's a little too late for that. This is not about the $33 it's about expectations and how you do business. If you tell me that I'm going to owe $100 deductible when I pick it up, then my expectation is that I'm going to pay $100. When I look down and see you in additional charge questions are going to come up.

They couldn’t find anything wrong with it, yet still offered to have a mechanic ride with me. Love to service they always tell you about any problems they find and the multi point inspection so you know what needs to done soon. The only thing I don't like is you go online to make an appointment and you get there and they don't know what you there for so everything you explained online you have to explain it all over again so what the point in making an appointment.

Took my Honda Accord to be serviced and have the tires rotated last Saturday. There were no issues with tire pressure before taking it to be serviced, but when I got it back, the TPMS light immediately came on. Took it back on Monday to have them check the tires, they checked and said everything looked good and all they did was recalibrate the system to get the light to go off. I got the car back and the light came back on immediately. I decided to keep a very close eye on the tire pressure as I’ve already had a blow out and didn’t want to have another due to low tire pressure. Side note, the blowout was the front driver-side tire and the replacement tire was a different brand than the others. After rotation, that tire was front passenger-side, meaning they didn’t correctly rotate my tires, but that’s the least of my worries. Decided today to really look closely at the tires and saw a substantial, and very noticeable, gash in the sidewall of the rear driver-side tire. So basically, I’m almost certain something happened at Piedmont that caused the gash, the only reason this review isn’t 1 star is because I can’t prove that without a doubt. However, something was definitely wrong with my tire and the fact that they didn’t catch it during the second visit means the service member that worked on my car didn’t do his job. EDIT: Within 12 hours of posting my original negative review, I received a call from Lars A. who apologized for my experience and offered to have my tire replaced, free of charge. When I told him I had already had it replaced this morning, he offered to reimburse me for the tire. I can’t give a 5 star review because the fact that this happened in the first place is still concerning, but I am happy to admit that Piedmont’s customer service team is on top of things and their commitment to customer satisfaction is incredibly impressive.
