Exceeded My Expectations. Today I had the pleasure of purchasing a new 2017 Hyundai Sonata for an awesome price. At first, I was hesitant to car shop on my own since my dad normally typically accompanies me. When I drove on to the lot, I had the pleasure of working with Adam. Adam was such an amazing employee to work with. He was very sweet and kind, not at all like the pushy salesman that I have met in the past. I told him what I was looking for and I let him know the monthly payments that I was most comfortable with. He was able to make that happen for me, and I am grateful for that. But more than that I was just impressed that he such a sweet guy and nothing like I was preparing myself for. He was considerate enough to speak with my father over the phone and even help me transfer items from my trade-in into my new car! Attempted to purchase 2019 santa fe limited on 8/2019. While I worked on a sale price with dealership, I also started my car loan with my bank, usaa. Usaa recommended using their car buying service via the internet for members at same time. Did so and the same hardeville dealership came back with a lower price, than previously quoted me, for usaa members. Called dealership back and asked them to validate the usaa price as we had not finalized any car purchase . They refused the $300 difference. Stated limited availability. I filed complaint thru usaa, went down to Savannah dealership next day and bought exact vehicle at usaa member price listed. And got the specific santa fe, because of color, transferred from hardeville dealership to me.

If I could ever give a negative review, it would be here. Husband took off work and verified vehicle of interest was available before driving 45 min to see. When we arrived and said we had cash to buy, a salesman unknown to us, came out to say vehicle had sold. We were disgusted, especially since we had verified prior to arriving. We left and later found another vehicle similar 3 hours away. The next day we drove 3 hours to get it. When we arrived back home we received an update to original listing by Peacock Hyundai that the vehicle my husband wanted had a price drop of almost $1000. The vehicle is still available at the lower price as of now, 2 days after we went to get it. I'm wondering if this isn't just "Bait". Will never waste my time with this group again.

I purchased my Genesis in July 2018. In all honesty I regret my purchase and that I have a continued relationship with a company that has lied to me and misrepresented themselves from inception. Please do not misunderstand me, I LOVE MY GENESIS! The car rides and runs like a champ, but the support staff sucks. It started with 0% follow up from the sales rep even when I called to buy another vehicle, lies told to me about features on my current vehicle, slick up sold items, and today I have a non existent service contract that I paid for!!! There was a Limited model that I wanted in Columbia, SC and amazingly the Hilton Head Branch brought me the vehicle the next day for me to purchase. When I arrived at 0940 the subject matter expert of the Palisade (which you can view on Youtube under Peacock HiltonHead) "Shawn Simpson" welcomed me with the upmost professionalism along with the manager and all the staff. Plus I was done with all transaction by 1130 and out the door as a very satisfied customer. Of course many of you reading may say that was quick but I will have to say that: 1. I viewed the youtube channel that Peacock Hilton Head has to research the vehicle I wanted. The only reason I am giving even 1 star is due to my salesman, Deleran. As for management and customer service, they do not deserve half of a star. I live an hour and a half away, found a vehicle online. I filled out reservation form online, called and verified, talked to 3 different people to confirm the vechile would be there and ready for me to test drive when I got there. I took off of work, drove up there....when I was 15 minutes away, Deleran called to make sure I was in fact still coming, that someone made a lower offer (not through him), and would I be willing to pay sale price. I told him I was prepared to, and would be there in a few minutes. When I arrived, Deleran advised me that the vehicle had just sold. WOW! I asked to speak to a manager, Matt comes out (in a 2 sizes too small sweater) and has no compassion or remorse about the situation. I ask what is the point of making a reservation on the car if they are not going to hold it for you? He said they can't hold cars without a deposit. I then ask why that was not explained or offered to me when I called and talked to 3 different people to confirm the car would be there before I missed work and drove that far. He didn't have much of an answer for that, just that it was policy. He then offered me the same vehicle, a year old, more miles and listed at a higher price. I'm not really sure what Peacock Hyundai has going on, but they have the absolute worst management I have ever seen. I will NEVER be back, and I will be sure to tell every person I meet the same!!!

I would like to share my experience with anyone that's thinking or looking to buy a vehicle. I went to Peacock Hyaudai Hilton Head, SC to test drive the 2020 Hyaudai Kona on Tuesday. My car was sent over from the collision center after an accident to make sure the engine was good before fixing the car. Took 3 weeks to get a response and two weeks after I got my car back the engine starting making a weird noise. When I brought the car to another dealership to have it checked they brought me to the shop to inform me that oil filter a $5 part was damaged in the accident and was puking oil out so the car was running with no oil all because they didn’t really check the engine like they said and change one cheap filter would never deal with them again. Finally understand why that guy was protesting the dealership for so long

I absolutely love Hyundai since I bought my first car a 2002 that I bought in 2005 in Bluffton. I traded it in and bought a new one 2013 in Savannah. All my servicing has been done in Bluffton. The Savannah Hyundai could not believe what great shape the 2002 car was in. I'd had it for 8 years ( bought used like I said ). The top was great because it had been kept under a carport. I never had any major problem with it. I love the new style of the 2013 and have all my oil changes and servicing done at a Hyundai dealership for sure!!! People ( friends etc) ask me how I like my Hyundai car and I tell them and 2 of the people have bought one and like the cars also! I told the employees at Hyundai that I advertise for them because I really like their cars. I have driven a Santa Fe for 13 years now!! I do like the Sonata and Tucson also. JM

I took my car there for service after 60,000 miles. They said they recharged my AC. A week later I tried to use my AC and it was blowing hot air. I went and told them about the issue. They looked at it and said it was "overcharged". My AC worked for a couple of weeks until it broke down again. Now it's just blowing hot air. I've never had an AC issue until they "recharged it". I guess they learned how to fix cars from YouTube.

I bought a car here 2018 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T. For one the car is great, but honestly, trying to get a hold of individuals can be quite challenging. So, I have not picked up the car nor have I even see the car, I wanted to make changes to the warranty package purchased. Finance manager and dealer who sold me the vehicle said he will make the changes and will take a few weeks, it's been three months and no changes have been made to my account nor have I received a check in the mail for the warranty package refund. I have left voicemails even had customer service operators send them emails but had no luck with call back. I do not know if this is a scam or what but feels like it to me.

If you're looking for the lowest price on a Hyundai, this is not the right dealership. I shopped prices at several dealerships in the Southeast and my results were that Lee Hyundai in Florence, SC and in Fayetteville, NC were both at least $500 less expensive. I provided Peacock with the right price to hit and they could not even come close. If you get a quote from Peacock Hyundai for a car, I would call Lee Hyundai and ask them to beat the price.
