I went on line & located a Cadillac Escalade on McDaniels Columbia lot; sent in an email request & Beca Ortega was quick to respond back. I explained that I wanted to purchase the Escalade, & I did not have a trade; so I asked for an OTD price so I could bring one check & since I am out of state also send a driver. Beca got with her manager & quickly got back to me with a very fair price. Where do I start? Danny and Gerald are phenomenal! I originally stopped in to view a red classic BMW that was out front. Danny approached me, was able to answer all of my questions. He was very thorough. He never pressured me to buy or anything. A week later I drove by and noticed a VW Toureg 2 was on the lot. The truck was beautiful! I pulled over looked at it and figured I'd return at a later date to test drive. I ended up running into to both Gerald and Danny at an event at thr museum. After inquiring about the truck Danny immediately asked Gerald could they work a deal! Gerald said, "yes". That's when I knew I had to work with them. I went in on Monday. Gerald remembered me. They both kept their word! I got the best deal. They cleaned the car. Gave me a new battery, serviced the truck and detailed it. My car is basically BRAND NEW! I'm so thankful! If these two can't put you in a car, I don't know what to tell you! Professionalism at it's finest! Great job guys!

This car buying experience could not have been easier. After finding a used car online and submitting a request to test drive it, I was contacted by Danny Velasquez at McDaniels Porsche. We set up a time to come in on a Saturday and were greeted warmly and promptly by Danny. After the test drive, we began to work on the details of the purchase. We let Danny know that we weren’t planning to buy the car that day and wanted time to think about the purchase. He stayed in touch with us all week end and responded to all of my text messages. When we decided on Monday that we would like to purchase the car but wanted to have it inspected first, Danny offered to have the car driven to our mechanic. The car passed inspection, and we bought it that day… just 3 days after we first saw the car. Danny, Chris and the rest of the staff at McDaniels Porsche are top notch and very courteous. Unlike our past car buying experiences, this was not a high stress purchase, and that’s a credit to Danny. He even had the owner’s manual and extra key hand delivered to our house later in the week, because they weren’t available at the time we purchased the vehicle. You couldn’t ask for better customer service. We will definitely be contacting Danny the next time we purchase new or used car.

I do not enjoy car shopping. I was really apprehensive when I arrived to view a vehicle at McDaniels Porsche. Within the first 10 minutes, that all changed. Rebeca Ortega was by far the best sales rep I have ever encountered, while purchasing a vehicle. Although the vehicle I purchased was not a Porsche, I received the same level of customer service, as those shopping for a Porsche. Rebeca was courteous, personable and very knowledgeable of the Audi I purchased. Ms Ortega followed up with me after the purchase, to ensure I was enjoying my vehicle. I called in regarding a used vehicle they had listed. Communication was horrible from the start. After agreeing to pay tagged price, I was forwarded wire transfer information from the associate. I immediately went to the bank and transferred the money requested to listed account. After the money was withdrawn from my account, I forwarded the transfer receipt to the associate as requested. At this point I was assured the vehicle was locked in and all was correct. I called in the next day to confirm delivery of the vehicle. I was informed that they sold the vehicle that morning even after I processed the wire as requested. The sales associate was less than helpful and I asked to speak with his sales manager. After getting in contact with the manager, he stated that they do so many deals, things can get lost in the mix. I then found out that the associate gave me the incorrect account number where I transferred a large sum of money to and since "they didn't have the money, they sold the vehicle." I have photo proof and even sent a copy of the wire receipt of the wire. I was told he would find me a replacement. I reached out to him every day for the last 6 days with no vehicles being presented to me and my messages being ignored. Apparently if you do not spend 200k on a vehicle, the dealership could care less about your experience. I purchase a new vehicle roughly once a year and this was by far the worst experience i've had in the auto industry.

I first saw the Macan in Consumer Reports' January, 2015 issue. In March, 2015 my wife and I drove down just to check the vehicle out and immediately fell in love with the small SUV. We were introduced to Danny Velasquez and were amazed with his knowledge and candor. During the following fifteen months I paid two more visits, gathering information and examining the Porsche brand. Finally, after having contacted two other dealers and armed with prices and facts, I ventured back. I was given an outstanding price that no other representative offered. I have been in the car business myself for a little more than 20 years. I have never worked or shopped at a dealership that was as clean and professional. I was originally greeted on the phone by a new salesperson named Mike Cox and when I arrived at the dealership he was helping another customer so the General Manager Gerald Sitton jumped in and went on a test drive with me. That's something I have never seen or experienced at any other dealership. After making my selection and signing all my paperwork. I was immediately introduce to another member oF the family named William who is the Porsche Service manager. He has been nothing but first class and respectful each time I had to bring my car in for maintenance. I was extremely grateful to have Mr Siton do the right thingand include a 30 day warranty with my purchase to give me some peace of mind. I can't say enough good things about the dealership or the service after the sale it is by far the best in Columbia, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Tampa. I love my new vehicle and can't wait to get it out on the highway and drop the top in my preowned 911. One things for sure it won't be my last. It's not very often you can inpress someone in your same line of work but I can promise you if given the chance they will provide you with the same out of the park service and sales experience. I recently purchased my third Porsche through McDaniel's Porsche. The first two 911 Carrera's. This time a 2017 Cayenne GTS. What made this experience all the better is I arranged through the dealership for European Delivery of my Cayenne. Tracey McDaniels, Nancy Smith, and the ever present Mr. Gerald Sitton, the sales manager, worked very hard to make the purchase the of car and the European Delivery a memorable experience. After driving all over Germany, I dropped the car back at the factory in Leipzig. Then, and a little over a month, 33 days to be exact, I had my new car delivered to my office by McDaniels from South Carolina to my home state of Florida. The experience of seeing how Porsche makes their cars, and driving a similar factory owned Cayenne GTS on the test track with a race car driver/instructor was a great experience made even better by the folks at McDaniel's Porsche. Will I be buying my 4th Porsche from McDaniel's. I sure will.

First, let me say, I love my car. I would have purchased it, no matter who was selling it. I bought an Audi q5, and it is a car that I have researched for over a year. I found this dealership online, and I reached out to the dealer about seeing the car. They were very easy to work with and once I saw the outside of the car in person, I loved it. The inside of the car... was basically trashed. Dirt everywhere, grime on the seatbelts and steering wheel, marker writing all over the back, grass stains, dull and scratched wood grain, etc. Also, the tire indicator light was on. Anthony Fulton, the salesman, assured me that the professional detailer would take care of all of the cleanliness, or lack thereof, on the following Tuesday, when I brought back a cashier's check. Tuesday came, and I sat for 4 hours, while they basically did a $12 Spinx car wash, that I could have done on my own. Then, the sales manager, Gerald, says that they are attempting to repair the tire: side note: accused me of running over a tiny nail-which I did not- the indicator light was on when I first climbed in the car for the test drive. By the time I got the car back, I was ready to be done with them. I feel like the car should have been cleaned up before I did the test drive, and I feel like Anthony lied to me about their ability to clean the car. Please be sure to check out the pictures. I had my detailer clean up the car, after the McDaniels Porsche "Professional Detailer" did their thing. You'll see a stark contrast in the before and after pictures. Additional side note: Anthony was attempting to advertise his real estate business to my friend, while selling me my car. I doubt Mr. McDaniels would be pleased with this kind of behavior in his dealership. To be honest, it appears that Gerald is running the entire dealership, and those working under him are highly incompetent. Again, I love my car, and I would have purchased it, regardless of who was selling it. I doubt I would recommend this dealership or any of its other locations. ***photos are pictures of the car after McDaniels professional detailer had the car for 3 hours (labeled "before"), pictures of the car after I had the car detailed (labeled "after"). This is a visual representation of their version of professionally cleaned, and what professionally cleaned actually looks like. I feel like I was lied to, and they wasted several hours of my time.

Danny was the most attentive, thorough and easy-going "sales guy" that we've ever experienced. We were attracted to a Panamera on the lot via McDaniels' website, but shortly after viewing it we saw a cheaper Panamera on a different dealer's website. When we called Danny initially to inquire about the Panamera and told him "never-mind we see a cheaper one for sale" he did not hassle us to push for a sale or for us to come in to see his more expensive car. He simply said to me "I'm sure there are plenty of Panameras that are cheaper than mine but these are the reasons why.....". Once he explained what we should be looking for and how we need to get the most out of our money with the quality of of his Panamera, it made so much sense that we pretty much made a deal right over the phone. Once going into the dealership to test drive the car we meet several employees there and all were awesome! If you are looking to purchase a car here you have to see Danny! You will walk away informed and pleased with your purchase!

I would like to award a 5 Star review to Danny Velasquez (Brand Ambassador) and Gerald Sitton (General Sales Manager). The entire purchase process from start to finish could not have been better. Danny is a wonderful young man and extremely knowledgable about the vehicles. His sales style could not be better--very attentive but not pushy. Answers calls or electronic communications immediately. He was in touch regularly during the vehicle procurement procedure. He did a superb job of demonstrating the feature during the new vehicle delivery orientation. Danny could not possibly have done a better job. Gerald was equally delightful. Wonderful personality that clearly has been imprinted onto his employees. He is the key "deal man". Very transparent and straightforward in his assessment of trade in vehicle value. Likewise the new vehicle final price was clearly presented, fair and had no hidden issues. I was completely satisfied with "the deal" and especially appreciated how rapidly the financial terms were finalized without that stereotypical "new car bargaining" process that approaches root canal-like annoyance levels. Gerald is the best sales manager I have ever worked with. In short, I could not recommend the team at McDaniels Poesche more highly. You will get financial terms there every bit as favorable as you would from the larger dealerships in CLT or ATL BUT with much better, local service. Do not even think about going out of town to buy a Porsche. Just head to Mr. McDaniels dealership and ask for Danny. You will meet Gerald in short order--and you could not be in better hands.

I've been in Columbia for 13 years. Went to purchase some small parts when they were located on Two Notch. Nearly every time I went there was nobody at the parts counter. Had to wait or else leave without service. Had one repair done years ago and they did an ok job. All Porsche owners seem to take their cars to Docs Grrrage when needing work and that's what I've been doing for the past 12 years. I decided to give McDaniels a chance lately as I've got a defective cigarette lighter that I only use for charging my cell phones/navigation/etc. I called over a week ago and got voicemail in service dept. Left message of problem, what I was looking for, and left phone number. Three days passed. No return call. Called them back on Monday and spoke to service guy. Told him again what I needed and he said he'd talk with a technician and get back to me. It's now Friday. No call back. Called again. Got a Sales Rep who said he didn't have time to talk as he was talking with a customer and trying to sell a $100K car. Complained, so he got his manager. Manager took my name/number/ and said the service guy was on his way back and he'd have him call me. Go figure! I called Doc's last week and they got back to me with an estimate in two days. I see all the great and happy reviews from people who've purchased Porsche's. I'm not surprised. They're great cars.....just when you need to have them serviced is when you see how great the dealer is! Good luck with McDaniels!!!! You'll probably need it.

I just have to say, best car buying expirence ever!!! Passed by the lot Saturday and noticed a used Lexus, came back to look at it with a truck full of hay, who goes to a Porsche dealer with a truck full of hay?! Danny Velasquez took note and came out saying "HAY!!!" and pointing to the truck as his greeting, and I knew we were at the right place! Danny and the rest of the team at the dealership (Gerald and Brian) got me my dream car which was at their Charleston location, and had it brought up so I could test drive! (Danny called me the day it arrived and joked saying he was going to buy it haha) They all were so friendly and made this one of the easiest car buying purchases of my life. They don't judge and are such fun down to earth people! I am so glad we stopped in and hope to buy another car from them sometime in the future!! Thanks again Danny, Gerald, and Brian!
