Had the best car related experience at McDaniels Acura. Needed a used car and stopped by to check things out. Assumed because of my credit history had no chance of buying a needed car. Was wrong. The salesman treated me with great professionalism and respect. Worked diligently for me and made deal happen. Have been purchasing cars for more then 45 years. I just bought a new MDX and I must say that the experience was one of the best I have ever had. Unlike the circus-like atmosphere that is so typical of today's showrooms, this experience was adult and professional. It was not hunted down, called or harassed. I was allowed to look at their cars and then went shopping at competitors and was not pecked to death by sales calls. It was a civilized experience. Ask for Gus. He will treat you like royalty.

Very excited when we bought an Acura MDX in May 2017. All was good until October and we made a trip to Atlanta. Five lanes of traffic and the vehicle all of a sudden completely shuts down. Luckily we were able to coast to the emergency lane. We had the vehicle towed to Ed Voyles Acura. At this point our vehicle had 10k miles on it. The service department at Ed Voyles treated us great. They took more ownership of this vehicle and it's issues during that weekend than McDaniels did the entire time. It was determined that we needed to replace a relay on the fuel pump. We drove the vehicle home but could tell something wasn't right. The transmission was not smooth anymore. Very jerky. Shortly afterwards, the vehicle would shake during braking. The gas cap door was not flush with the vehicle. Long story short, from October to February our vehicle was at McDaniels service for a total of 4 full weeks. During that time, the break pads and rotors were replaced because they were warped. The gas cap door was modified and then ultimately replaced. We were told this was a common issue. The entire fuel pump was then replaced. After one of the service trips, we noticed a line down the middle of one of our back windows. When we asked about it, we were told the window had come off the track and it was creased. They then replaced the damaged window also. We were referred to an Acura rep because the dealership could not do anymore to please us. The Acura rep gave us the runaround from December through February. While we were playing phone tag, we received a letter stating that if we did not return their call, they were officially notifying us that they were closing our case. In the end, we took it to McDaniels one last time because the brakes were still messing up and now they were making a horrible rubbing noise. Our transmission was still very jerky even after a software update that had no impact. Finally, McDaniels stopped treating us like we were imagining the transmission issue and admitted that there was an issue. However, Acura was taking the position that it was minor in nature and the vehicle was driving as designed. I left the service department with the transmission still jerking and the brakes making a rubbing noise. The Acura rep told me they would close my case and send us a $200 gift card for all of our hassle. I immediately traded the vehicle in for a Tahoe which is what we had prior to the MDX. When traded, the vehicle was 9 months old and had 16k miles on it. I did not feel safe with my family riding in the vehicle, and I didn't feel as though anyone took ownership and would ever resolve the issues. Yes, McDaniel replaced many parts on our vehicle but we were left with unresolved issues. The Acura rep did nothing but play games and acted as though we were a nuisance. We even spoke to the sales manager at McDaniels about working something out on a new MDX. He stated that he would give us the blue book value for ours. In the end, we took a big loss on our vehicle due to the depreciation, but I have peace of mind now that my family and I are riding in a safe vehicle that is truly driving as designed. I would not recommend McDaniels or Acura to anyone. I understand they have vehicles that work very well, but I learned first hand how they handle things when they don't go as planned. There are many more issues that I can mention, but I tried I to stick with the higher level issues.

Negotiated the price of the vehicle in advance, put down a deposit on my credit card for $2500, brought a cashiers check for the difference to pay for the vehicle in full. Scheduled the pick up time a week in advance & was promised an easy & quick transaction. Showed up to pick up the vehicle and it was missing a wheel that was damaged & had to be repaired. We waited 3 hours to sign our paperwork which could have easily been prepared in advance, but they made us wait to try & sell us a warranty. We left without the vehicle & it had to be delivered 3 days later. Worse purchase experience I’ve had, use another dealership if you value your time.

I went there last week to fix the alarm system for my 1999 Acura TL3.2 that start going off randomly , after charging me $135 for diagnostic check only!!!! They told me I need to Replace the entire door lock system that will cost me more than $500 without guarantee that will fix the issue and they wrote in their quote that the customer should note that due to the high mileage and / or the car age the vehicle systems will start going to fail !!!!!! Just like they put me in the corner and leave me in two options only either dumping my car or paying them the +$500 and keep praying all the night hoping that will fixing the alarm system…… making long story short Honda dealership fix the alarm system for $148.32 ( they waive the diagnostic check cost ) and they were very clear and sure the actuator at door striker is worn and need to be replaced and the alarm system working properly ……… it was a big lesson for me cost me $135 and from know and on I can tell the difference between the professionals and Who are not.

Words can not express how much the staff at this dealership mean to my husband and I after our experience with McDaniels Acura. I came in to the dealership today, total full of anxiety and completely expecting to walk away without any helpful feedback, without a decent offer for my trade, basically expecting nothing other than a "I'm sorry ma'am but there just isn't anything that we can do to help you". However, that was totally NOT my experience today. I had a trade that I knew was going to be upside down, I knew that I needed to get out of my coupe because we have a new edition on the way, and I knew exactly what I could afford. I'm a first time car buyer and I will seriously never return. I understand that it's their jobs to sell cars, but in no way should anyone be rude to you. I clearly stated multiple times that I wanted to think about whether or not I wanted to buy the car. But I think he was a manager (don't really remember his name) started to get really pushy and rude. If someone says multiple times that they want to think things over before they make a decision, let them do that. I don't want something pushed on me, that is not how you sell someone a car.

Took my car in today for a simple oil change at 8:00AM. I did request to have it completed at 11AM, although it was not guarantee complete via the website at that time. I figured an oil change would not take all day to complete. I have called 5 times to get an update on when it will be completed since I have a timeline and am headed out of town. Every time I am sent to voicemail or told the associate is busy. An OIL CHANGE does not take 7 hours to complete. I will no longer service my car here but instead go back to HONDA down the street and get quicker and timely service. Wish I could give a ZERO start rating.

Brittnei was awesome. She went the extra mile, knowable, energetic. Brittnei wanted to sell a car. Then Eric The Bad Relations Manager showed up. I don't think Eric wanted sell a car. Eric said "I don't know any lenders that would finance this car". That's okay we got a lender. But Eric didn't want cash to hold the car till the bank opened. CASH. Who doesn't take cash? Plus Eric tried to jack the price $1K over the listed price on the window and the website. As I said, Eric does not want to sell cars. Brittnei could show Eric a thing about customer service.

REGIONAL CASE MANAGER CALLED LAST WEEK .AFTER WE TALKED WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT TO TALK AGAIN TODAY. GUESS WHO DIDN'T CALL. IMAGINE THAT. TRIED TO CONTACT OWNER OF THIS DEALERSHIP. FORGET ABOUT IT. I SENT A CERTIFIED LETTER TO HIM. HE HAS NOT ACKNOLEDGED ME. I THINK HIS STAFF INTERCEPTED THIS LETTER AND HAS NOT GIVEN THIS LETTER TO HIM. Recently purchased a certified TLX. Salesman was nice but not particularly knowledgeable. The Finance person was coarse and unprofessional. He was pushing a $3600 wrap around warranty. I said the price was too high and he began to slash it down. I jokingly said can you get it to $2000 he assured me it could not be done. He quoted a price below his previous "lowest" price and I asked how it could be below the lowest. He said he was new to the job and misread the screen- possible I suppose. Magically 4 seconds after all the paper work was signed Jesse, the very nice finance manager, came to offer the wrap around for $1990. The original agreement was that the car would be touched up free of charge. All one had to do was call 24 hrs before and a loaner would be offered while touch ups were done. All this was to be done through the salesman for some unknown reason. The salesman was notified and we were told all was taken care of. The next morning the loaner nor the paint service were known to be scheduled by anyone at the dealership. The salesman told us he did not know we would be at the dealership in the morning. So I think the loaner and paint service were indeed not scheduled.We went up that evening and dropped off the car for service after the dealership got all this scheduled. We were told 2 day later the car was done but was still in need of touch up. Chris Groh, a very nice manager, came out and offered to supply some touch up paint in a bottle. We now are expected to touch up this car that was promised to be touched up for us. Since the parts manager was gone the bottle will have to be ordered, if not in stock, or we will have to go to the dealer to get this bottle. We have now driven 160 miles in a pursuit of having our car paint touched up. The service has to be completed by us when all other dealers make sure cars are ready before customers even receive the car. All things considered I would think 2 out of 5 is how we rate this dealership- buyer beware.

acura dealerships have scams on their supposed "100 months" warranty. we are here right now at mcdaniels acura and we are trying to get our car battery replaced because its starting to fail, it was installed 9/2014 and its now 11/2017 so its just 38months which is clearly way before or not even half of what they "claim" or falsely advertise on the stickers on the battery. and now the service advisor wouldnt replace our battery because he is saying that after 3yrs its not yet covered.. 3 years is just 36months.. what kind of stupid math is that!!! so they are saying that 36>100.. BRAVOO!!!!

I would not recommend this dealership's service department to anyone. We took my wife's certified pre-owned MDX in for an oil change and to have 3 items repaired under warranty. They kept the car for 2 1/2 days and didn't do anything but change the oil. They made excuses for why they would not repair the warranty items. When I called in to the dealership to discuss it I was put on hold for 5 minutes before they transferred me to Chris Groh's voicemail. I left a detailed message and after not receiving a call back for over 2 hours I called back once again and was bounced around and eventually spoke with someone else. This is the most incompetent and unprofessional service department that I have ever been to and I will drive over an hour to the next closest Acura dealer before I would even consider taking our vehicle back to McDaniels. Save yourself the time and aggravation and give your money to a more deserving dealership. I give them one star because that is the lowest rating you can give. McDaniels Acura is the worst business that I have ever dealt with! Stay as far away from them as you can.

I am not one who likes dealing with car sales people. I put off buying an auto for months just for that reason. However, Heddy Ramicone of McDaniels Automotive Group, put all my fears to rest. What a great person! She listened closely to the customer and did not try to "force" a sale." Though each sale is important to the dealership and Ms. Ramicone, giving me the customer the space to make my decision without pressure was also extremely important. Horrible customer service!!!!! Just recently purchased my TSX from this robbery of a car dealership. I normally go to get my oil change here but was recently told that in order for me to get my air pressure light turned off that I would have to get some service package for 100 and something bucks. I said no I will just get my oil changed. So I got my oil changed and they left the oil change notification light on and the air pressure light on. When I called back to ask them to turn it off, they refused. No way I would ever ever return here again. I would honestly say....go somewhere else to purchase your Acura. These people are all about money not customer service. They don't want to have anything to do with you after they've got your money.
