So I traded in a mustang to get a new one. I signed everything and everything was good to go. I see in my bank account that the bank that had my original mustang title is still taking payments out. I called them to find out Lugoff hasn't sent in any paper work of the car being paid off. And the bank told me I wouldn't be getting the payments back, almost $1,000. DON'T COME HERE

Visited Lugoff Ford last week, for the first time, after finding a used car in their inventory in which I was very interested. I was first surprised by the size of the facility and the quality and quantity of used and classic cars on site...some of the cars go back to the early 1900s and appear to be in pristine condition. While looking for the particular car in which I was interested, a Dodge Challenger TA 392, I met salesman John Hill...great guy, no pressure and he made the visit enjoyable even after I told him I would need a day or two to make my decision (actually 14 hours). I also dealt with Sales manager Chris Nimmons and Internet Specialist Jennifer Shoup during the process of buying the car and they made the purchase easy and enjoyable. It being a lightly used car, there were some minor issues upon taking delivery of the Challenger but the dealership has been accommodating and has worked hard to make things right. I would definitely recommend to anyone a visit to Lugoff Ford and searching out John Hill and Jennifer Shoup if interested in the purchase of a car.

So I went in a few weeks ago to purchase a new F-250. They had the truck I looked at online. We started to talk numbers they started off 5k above what the truck was advertised for on their website. After an hour of going back and forth, I sent my wife home because I knew we weren’t going to make a deal. I stayed to give them one more shot. Of course they didn’t get where i wanted to make a deal, which is fine. Payne the sales guy I was dealing with then turned into the stall man every time I would try and leave he would say let me go check something to get me to stay. I told him mutiple times the deal wasn’t going to work for me, but it did nothing to stop his attempts to get me to sit there long enough to give in. After an hour or so of that I finally just walked out. For about 2 two weeks after that I received 1-2 phone calls and a few texts a day. This dealer is incredibly pushy.

Lugoff Ford has the best customer service of any business I have ever been to. They were some of the most pleasant people to work with when I initially bought my vehicle from them and their service department is always fast and easy. I recently had an issue with some window tint warping on my vehicle. Lugoff Ford had this applied by a third party prior to selling the car to me brand new. When I brought the vehicle in to have it serviced and mentioned the issue, they immediately said they would take care of it, no charge. I dropped my car off at the dealer, they took it to the third party, and had it back the same day. I have three Ford dealerships closer to my home than Lugoff Ford, yet I still make the 40 minute drive just so I know I’ll get the same great customer service.

I took my F150 in for a recall and since then the airbag light stays on. Today was the fourth time I've had it in their shop only to be told they need to order more parts. Apparently none of the technicians can figure it out in one visit. Lugoff Ford is where I bought the truck and its local but in the future I will drive to a Columbia Ford dealership for repairs. My wife and I work days and it's a big hassle to keep taking the truck in and not having it repaired.

I am giving 4 stars because management got involved quickly and got my problem corrected. I had a rear backup camera replaced. The guidance lines did not show up on the screen. They told me to bring it back in to program the camera. Took it back in and then they said there was no programming needed for the camera. After talking with management, they got the right person involved who said the camera does require programming. Took the car back in and my camera got fixed. If you don't feel like you are getting the right answer from the service department, talk to someone in management and let them determine if what you are being told is correct.

I have bought 3 vehicles from this establishment since Jan 2019 (18' f150, 18' fusion and a 18' durango). Within 30 mins they had a vehicle that suited our wants and needs based on our assessment. Only 1 did not work and we choose another vehicle. Finance was quick and painless and they did not push all the extras as other dealerships have. My father has also purchased 2 trucks from here since Jan 2019. He has purchased his last 5 trucks thru this dealership dating back to when they were Redfearn Ford. Okay so after a few bumps in the road & some talking our issues out, Lugoff Ford (John Hill ,Richard Andrew & Heather Hagan )did in fact go out of their way to rectify the problems I was having. Several apologies were made & I am aware ( so are they) of a couple areas that need to be addressed ( some already have been fixed). I am not so proud that I cannot accept a sincere apology when it’s offered. The Lugoff Ford team like other dealerships do rely on repeat customers; and I do appreciate everything positive that has come out of a difficult situation. Through their actions they have regained my business and hopefully everyone learned something from it. I would like to recommend bringing any issues up immediately instead of letting things build up to the breaking point.

BEST SERVICE EVER!!! We were headed to S.C over the holidays and I had an unexpected need for immediate service on my 2018 Ford F-250. This was the closest dealer and not only did they send someone to pick me up while the wrecker towed my vehicle since we didn’t all fit in the wrecker vehicle, but they had 3 techs working in my truck the minute it arrived! Lugoff Ford Dealership wants to blame Ford Manufacturer for vehicle issues. The dealership is responsible as well because they knowingly sell new cars to customers knowing that they have defective parts and will be replaced with defective parts every 15,000-20,000 miles. Lugoff Ford is liable as well when they didn't disclose this information to the customer that they sold the vehicle to. They don't care and won't do anything to rectify the problem. Never again will I buy or recommend them to anyone. Be careful as I heard the same owner has other Lugoff dealerships. Which if that's the case stay FAR AWAY from anything linked to him it's all about a dollar sign not about customer service or customer satisfaction.

I leased a vehicle from them and it had the check engine light on. I brought it back the next day and they cleared the check engine light and didn't fix what ever was wrong with it. Every time I call them or bring my vehicle to them they come up with some excuse as to why they can't help me. DO NOT EVER GET A VEHICLE FROM THEM!!!!

I had the worst experience. I was sold a car for 17999 that they said would be 15999. When I figured it out because Chris gave me the paperwork in a closed envelope I tried 2 days later to change the car they refused! That was my right. Now I know I should have called the finance company and tell them I changed my mind. I grossly overpaid. Then after weeks I kept complaining. Chris says you are out of time but I came in every other day for the past two weeks trying to get results and was denied. I pray God does not let him get away with this. Evil crooks! Please pay attention before you purchase. Open that envelope. They preyed on a woman.

Don't even bother calling ahead to schedule a test drive like I did. I called to confirm they had a specific vehicle and was told yes come on in for a test drive. I told them I would arrive in 30 minutes. Got there only to find out the vehicle was unsafe to test drive due to a mechanical issue. Wasted over an hour of my day because the salesmen were too lazy to take 1 minute to actually check on the status of a vehicle before I arrived. Didn't stop them from calling and leaving voicemails multiple times over the week about getting me back in for other cars. I'd look elsewhere, if you're in the market for a new or used vehicle.
