Let me start by saying this: DAVID BOONE, PETE CUMMINGS and the ENTIRE KIA OF GREER STAFF worked a FANTASTIC deal for us. One of the best car buying experiences I've ever had. Brand new vehicle and a huge smile on the wife's face. And the entire staff was friendly, from the receptionist desk to the service guys, all the way back to the detail-shop. They had one good sales rep, but a horrible office team that tried to get too much at the end of the much. They also insulted me with a very low trade in offer for my perfectly fine car. I will never even look at this dealer again. I suggest everyone not to deal unless you want to pay 2 thousand more than it is worth. How they do that is making you think that it is a great offer. The new cars are priced 2 to 3 thousand more than they should. The office didn't work with me as much they should. They see you as a number in their bank not as a human being except one fabulous lady.

I came in last week to look for a new car. I was greeted and served by Leandra Richardson. She showed me a green Kia Soul 2013. It's a great car, great price, good mileage. The Soul is very versatile and is just the right size. It's a lot roomier inside than it looks and it's very easy to get in and out of. I couldn't believe the number of cool standard features that come with the Soul--stereo, interior lights, fog lights, neat LED lights around the stereo speakers in the doors, and especially the back-up camera. It has a small turning radius and handles great. I felt safe in the car during the test drive. Ms. Richardson had great customer service and was very helpful and skilled (she knew a lot about the vehicle). I love the Kia so much that I think it's going to be my final choice. I will definitely be coming back.

I had a appt for a oil change at 3. Got here at 240 and got checked in. Took over 2 hrs for this. If they would have told me it would be over a hour I would have gotten done at a different time. When I take my Jeep to the dealer to get a oil change it take 30 mins. Why would it take over 2 hours. Plus while sitting and waiting a manager fired a employee. He did not even close the door before telling her. Bad management

I will say that Paul was wonderful. but, I waited 8 hours to hear whether or not I was approved, they sold me a wrecked car, admittedly they fixed the door and the back up camera, but the hood is still bent and will not close all the way. while I left my car there to be repaired over the weekend, someone stole my personal items from the car, and a rear view mirror ornament that was given to me by my deceased father. And now there are scratches in the paint on the bumper, i assume from fixing the back camera. I hate that I chose to buy a car from here, and wish I'd have gone elsewhere for my first car purchase.

Absoluetely the most money hungry scam artists i have ever experienced. I spent 750$ for a valve gasket seal and they didn't even torque down the bolts causing me to have to buy 2 alternators as a result of oil pouring out of my valve cover because i couldn't afford to get it fixed again.... Amatuers who are trying to steal your money... So that they can get commission. Its a sad excuse of a dealership. I am now fixing the car myself as you can see from the picture where they had messed up my valve seal and cover. Update: The GM Chris Record was not willing to help. I had tried to call him for 2 months left innumerable amounts of messages. I had to go into the store to find him and he smirked and was snide trying to convince me it wasn't their fault. I mentioned the word "litigation" and he cut me off completely. I have video proof and 2 other Auto mechanic shops that have evidence that Kia didn't fix my car but actually damaged it more. I will be filling a lawsuit soon as a have someone who is doing it pro bono.

Simply will never return. I bought a used car here. Was very inexperience and they sold me TWO service plans/extended warranty type contracts without telling me. They simply included them in my paperwork to sign and did not say a word, ask me, or explain. On a loan of just over 18,000 this was a $3000.00 different. That's huge. I know I was ignorant not to read all the papers, but they were very deceiving.

I will not be giving this dealership my money. We received a "scratch off" that said we won a 60" television. Upon driving an hour from where they sent us the letter, we we're told that we did not win a TV even though it clearly said we did. I will not support a company who reneges on a promise that was made to get me through the door. Do yourself a favor and do business with a reputable company who does not employ shady business practices.

Only good suggestions, & a vast knowledge about all the vehicles available...which were plentiful. The sales guys were great! There is a lack of willingness to take responsibility for mistakes here. A discovered problem with a contract was absolutely not addressed in any way to maintain customer satisfaction. They blamed the contract issues on shadowy sales guys who aren't there anymore They then made the ending of the contract as complicated as possible and had the nerve to try to sell additional services and products long after we decided to end the business relationship. We made calls to attempt to make sure things were handled efficiently only to arrive and be told something different with the excuse of "Well, you didn't talk to me!" Cannot recommend this place at all.

This is a good dealership and their strive to get good reviews at least provides motivation for all the employees to try at good customer service. Unfortunately, they still sell cars and have the typical problems of this type of business: sales personnel that stretch the truth, do whatever it takes to try to get your sale no matter how uncomfortable it might make you, withhold certain pieces of information you would want to know, etc. That being said, you will experience this at every dealership and you can do a lot worse than Kia of Greer.

Bought a new car from this dealership. I was out of state. First they hit my credit rating with over kill on trying to get a loan. Then sat on the paperwork, didn't get to car info to my DMV until the last day of the temp tag. Then ordered a new tag even though we were transferring tags. Never respond or call back when asked to do so. VERY poor customer service once they have your sale!!!!

My experience started on Saturday, I finally found car I wanted on Monday, was given numbers that fit with my budget and allowed to drive car home to return the following day to do paperwork. We came in on Tuesday and was told system was down but take car home again and come back on Wednesday to finalize. Sales rep Ryan said that although he was off he would come in to finish the deal. So I text Ryan on Wednesday with time we would be in to sign paperwork., he informed me he was out of town but someone would be waiting for us at dealership. We got to the lot around 6 expecting to sign papers and leave with new car but we stood around for 20 mins waiting for the manager. Finally after having 2 associates tell them we were waiting the GM comes over and tells us that we would now need to triple the down payment in order to get the car. When I told him that was not what the salesman told me, he said they had just got the info back. Basically, we were an inconvience at that point, there was no explanation or apology for wasting 5 days of our time plus countless trips to sign papers that they apparently never had to begin with. We were lied to repeatedly and jerked around for 5 days. I will warn everyone I know to NEVER go to Kia of Greer. Shame actually because I fell in love with the car I wanted to buy but it's more fun for these guys to lie and deceive customers.

I have never been so disappointed in my life. This dealership is full of liars and thieves. The General Manger, Chris record is a crook. His sale people are horrible. They will lie, cheat and steal your money. They will say anything to get your money and then lie and say they did not say what they promised! I feel so used and because it was not in writing I have no way to prove my case. Bait and switch tactics. I am on a fixed income and my money is hard to come by...they took my money and then treated me like trash. Please do not make the same mistake I made. Please don not go to this dealership. They are not good people.

Dealing with Kia of Greer was the absolute worst experience we have had at a dealership.Upon walking in, we were told to sit and wait for the next available sales person to help us. Someone did come over and get us. She wrote down our information and what we were looking to do, she was not friendly at all. She then proceeded to hand our paper of information to a sales rep and her exact words were, "Either way, they're cookin," assuming that they would have a sale from us regardless....SO tacky and unprofessional! We went through the paperwork process of filling out our information, and even had to repeat all of the information I had already given to the first woman. The sales rep who was assisting us was nice, however she didn't know much about the different models at all. All questions I asked, we're side stepped and I realized she was not knowledgeable enough to answer. Upon coming back from the test drive, we waited entirely too long for the numbers to be given to us regarding payments AND requests we made regarding payments (twice) were not even reflected in the payment options. I told the sales rep this and she went back to the finance rep to have them fix it. We waited and waited, entirely too long. They never came back with the fixed paperwork, so we walked out...after being there for 4 hours. It was ridiculous, unprofessional, and the worst experience I have ever had. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, and will be looking to purchase elsewhere at this point.

The price for the oil change is pretty good. After adding a tire rotation which I could have gotten free elsewhere the price more than doubled. I waited for well over 2 hours and I had an appointment for the service. Sales people come and try to get you to test drive a new vehicle. All I wanted was an oil change :(

Be careful of the f&I. After negotiating a deal for a friend of mine we went in to sign the paperwork and he tried to sell her a maintenance plan and said that if the service work was not done there her warranty would be voided. I did call BS on that. We should have left then. Also was told that the new 2017 was just like the 2019. But she didn't realize that it didn't have a backup camera or cruise control until she got home. Unfortunately I have to take the blame for that. Make sure you know exactly what you're getting before signing the paperwork.

I would NEVER recommend this KIA dealership to anyone. My temporary tag was out of date more than 10 days before I got my permanent tag and then when I got it it was a temporary permanent tag meaning I have 2 months to pay more taxes and another tag fee. Then I found out the CD player didn't work. Took the car to the dealership they told me they would need to take the dash out to get the numbers off my radio to get a new one. They said they would order it and it should be there in a couple of weeks. Never received a call. At almost a month later I called them. The radio was there and the guy Joey said he didn't know how long it had been there. This place is a joke. Very poor communication and customer service. Not recommended at all.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I was convinced to lease a car with Kia of Greer in 2016. I was hesitant to lease because I knew I drove a lot of miles. I was told that my miles would be forgiven as long as a I continued to lease with Kia when this lease was up (2020). Today, I was told that that person wasn’t being truthful and they wouldn’t honor what their own employee said. And they won’t do anything to make it right. They have great customer service bit don't be fooled by their snake oil salesman routines, they will try to sell you the merchandise you don't need, additionally make sure they put the right grade of oil in your car, if it says 5W-20 make sure it's that not 5W-30, they were putting the wrong pull in my car and it was causing my engine to burn tremendous amounts of pull, changed back to 5W-20 and I'm having no more burning issues after I went to another dealership.....

This place, and all the other dealerships in the area ran by this company are the defintion of a old school dealership that has given sales people a bad name. I personally dont see how this place stays open. Went into this dealership to look at a new Kia for a commuter car, drove it made a offer (I was using my bank for the financing) they didnt counter offer, and then I left. Had a sales manager call me a week later I told him I was still interested in the car, and wanted the best out the door price from them, I never heard back from him. The next afternoon I called my original contact Ray he told me he was going to get me some pricing and get back with me in 30 or so minutes.. that was Wednesday afternoon around 1 PM. Its Saturday morning and still no word. I've already taken my buisness some where else and bought a car. Do your self a favor it your in the market for a car just go on up the road to somewhere else and dont waste your time .. btw the guy that does all the commercials go to a new barber your hair cut is horrible..

Katie, Elaine and April were, and are, top notch in their professional and kind treatment of our family. Since our Kia had broken down, they went out of their way to provide the BEST in customer service. Hands down I'd recommend them to any Kia owner. Period.

Very unimpressed. I was very excited going into the dealership. I talked to one salesman on the phone for a week pending a tax refund as a down payment. He assured me that with challenged credit and my down payment I could get into a car less than 20K. I held off going until he was back at work because my refund came on his day off. I went in to my appointment and was passed off to another guy. Whatever, stuff happens right? I was under the impression he would end up helping me until his previous appointment was settled. Not the case. I was passed off when I had an appointment, after I had the consideration to wait to come in when he was back at work. The salesman and the manager were pushy and tried to get me into a car I was not pleased with. Yes, my credit is challenged but this is a lot of money I will be spending and I'm not going to be stuck in a Kia Rio that I don't like. They assured me it was a chance to rebuild my credit, I needed to look at the bigger picture. I could refinance in a year and get the car I wanted once my credit improved from making payments. I wasn't agreeable to that. They would not show me but ONE car and told me it was my only option. They were pushy, aggressive and I was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I understand they have a job to do and they are there to make money. But, it was no way to be treated. I will NEVER buy a car from them. I did find the exact car I wanted without being talked up on my down payment. They tried to push me $1000 over what I told them I could do. I finally said I could go up $500 and if I gave an inch they tried to take a mile. When the manager saw that I wasn't going to be making a purchase he became a little rude. It was all about the $$$ and not about making the customer happy or being honest. I did go find the exact car I wanted at Drive Time, the guy tried to get me a lower down payment and did, he took his time and did EVERYTHING he could to get me in the car I wanted, and I'm rebuilding my credit. This may be an okay place to go if your credit is up to par. Challenged credit, you need to look elsewhere.

I have never been so disappointed and disgusted as I was yesterday at this Kia dealership told our wait time was going to be an hour and a half well 3 hours later I was still waiting on my car why then they say I need brakes but I was there the previous week and they said they done there 14 or whatever point of inspection why wasn’t anything said then. Bait and switch!!! Stay clear! We texted and called when we were on the way. A great deal on a very low mileage Toyota. After our 50 minute drive there we were greeted by our contact Miyana who took us to look at the vehicles that wasn’t found. After David the rude sales manager came to us he said it was bought by a wholesaler. Really? A 2009 with 50k miles. I call bs and that stands for bait and switch and something else.

There is not a low enough star to rate this KIA dealer. Came to the dealer with my daughter to purchase a car. She kept asking to look at cars. Was never shown any cars. Said her credit would not allow her to get a car and the car she had she owed more than it was worth. After running my credit as co-signer was told she still did not qualify because of the car she had. They ran her loan using my credit and was approved (which I found out later was illegal and was known as a straw loan). We were told that the loan would not be on the table the following day but to hold the approval we could do the paper work and decide the next morning what we would do. At this time it was already 9:52 on a stormy Friday night. We were told the loan would not be processed until we came back with the deposit. Meanwhile they were trying to force us to take the car home. Fortunately we did not. The next day we called to say that we did not want to go through with the loan. Could not get anyone to call us back. After church on Sunday we into the dealership, waited over 20 minutes to talk to the finance guy (the one who entered the loan) , was told by him that he sent the loan in on Friday night and that after I signed the papers they could do what they wanted to with them. He offered to forget the deposit, told us that he could not do anything after we told them that we would not even consider buying a car with them because they were dishonest. He told us we would have to talk to the GM (found out later he was not GM). We waited another 35 to 40 minutes while the "GM" walked his dog and talked with the finance guy in the office behind him (apparently they were in this together). We were told we signed the the loan and the car belong to us even though we had not taken car off the lot. He said the only way he would take the loan back was through repossession which would go on my credit record. I left, tried reaching someone in Kia's corporate offices to no avail. They all sent me back to Kia of Greer. Finally called and spoke to Chris (the real GM) on Monday morning to start repossession process. I would rather it go on my credit that to deal with them. He told me to bring the car back and they would cancel the loan. I informed him that the we never took the car home and it was still in their possession. When I went in to return keys and manual, I found out that the person representing himself as GM was not the GM. Also the corporate manager was there. We found there was never a sale because I never took possession of the car (which is what I argued for over an hour on Sunday). I am 66 years old and have been buying cars all of my adult life.This was the worse car buying experience of my life. I would never step foot in Kia of Greer nor would I ever recommend it to any one.

Without a doubt this is the most corrupt car dealership in the upstate of South Carolina. The owners are Mark Escude and Robert "Bob" Hogan. MCE Automotive LLC. They will stop at nothing to steal your hard earned money. The general manager, Chris Record is a liar and so is his sales staff. They will promise you things and then say they did not say that after you sign the paperwork. Very unprofessional. We were conned out of money. We work hard to make a living, it is not easy now days to make it. We live right, we work hard, we are honest people. It is sad that companies like this only care about how much money they can steal from good people. This dealership is very unprofessional. I would not recommend this business to anyone unless you like being laughed at, ignored and ridiculed and robbed of your money. Bad, bad , bad bad,.... these are the 4 words I would use to describe this dealership. They also own Toyota of Greer, Hyundai of Greer, Nissan of Greer, Kia of Greenville. Den of thieves.

Every time we have brought or Kia to the service department to be serviced the wait for a simple oil change has exceeded 2 hours. Their customer service is good but the wait times are always long. Recently when I called to make an appointment some how our account had gotten jumbled with someone else’s account so we had to start a new one. When we brought our car in to be serviced the new account was missing and, yet again we had to create a new account. Both times it was blamed on a system error. The rates are also not very competitive unless you are on their mailing list. I highly doubt we will be using them again unless it is an absolute necessity.

Took my 2015 Kia Optima in for a 10 point check. While there I mentioned to Cassandra, that the clear-coat on the hood of the car is peeling. When they completed the maintenance, I was told there is nothing they could do to fix the clear coat issue but rather I would have to pay to get it re-done. How is it that a 4 year old car's finish needs to be re-done? Two guys from work noticed it and when I told them the outcome at the dealership, they both said, "I guess I wont be buying a Kia" It makes me sad that my shiney red car is no longer pretty. ***June 12, 2019 UPDATE*** Called back to speak to Chris Record as directed by the "owner". It was delegated to Lee Brooks at Kia. He told me the same thing that Cassandra told me. Nothing they can do. Again disappointment. A 4 yr old car should NOT be peeling clear coat. Their inability to back their products speaks volumes. Very very disappointed.

Never go to Kia of Greer with the people they have running the place now! Already have a call in to corporate on returning the vehicle because of the lying staff especially from the Sr sales manager. We do not have extra money to waste the way they did us. And lying to make us think we have a good purchase just so you can get a commission. We were told our credit score was lower than it actually was. We were talked down to like we were children and pressured into buying an over priced car. They told us they would throw in this and that but it was actually not thrown in and we paid for it in the contract. We went up to the dealership the day after to discuss the agreement because of the rip offs we were sold and the finance manager the night we purchased said that we could come back and renegotiate if we notice something isn't right since it was late and we had the 3 children with us. His words precisely were 'Make everything Kumbaya, again'. The Sr sales manager walks into the office when we return to discuss and he says 'I can't help you'. We even pointed out that the dealer can take the vehicle back in the contract and his words were 'I can but I'm not gonna. I'll save it for the single mom that really needs help or the Marines widow who died in Afghanistan but for you NO! You signed a contract and what's done is done.’ That made me so hot. He even had the nerve to keep calling me bro the whole conversation. The even crazier part of this whole thing is that the Monday after we came back to renegotiate they fired/let go the finance manager, Jermaine White, who told us we could renegotiate. Corporate is doing an investigation and is gonna call me back on Monday. General Manager, I would be willing to sit down with you and discuss this situation that needs to be wiped. I will not speak with Richie. I cannot hide my feelings towards him anymore! EDIT: I still am fighting with this terrible place you call a business. Called them multiple times, left my contact info with reception saying Chris Record would call me back but nothing. I am putting in a complaint with the BBB as I am typing this. This dealership needs to shut its doors. I will never shop there again nor will I allow anyone I know to shop there.

We purchased here 2 years ago and it was a great experience. We went in today and worked with Trevor. Trevor was a pleasure to deal with but then his sales manager got involved. He immediately insulted me and then continued to talk down to me like I was an idiot when in fact I was a VERY informed buyer. We thanked Trevor and left. The sales manager was extremely condescending and rude. We would not buy the vehicle now from them regardless of the deal offered.

People smoke out near the cars leaving the car smelling like smoke. Not very professional. Will cheat you out of tires so check your tires before you leave to make sure they did change them or rotated them like you wanted. Make sure before you leave they did everything you asked them to do because most the time they will half a** stuff. The only thing good about this place is the coffee .

We applied online, [After dealing with BS from Paramount Kia for 3 days.] they approved us same day we drove to finish papers & we went home with our new Kia Soul 2017 with our terms! As we parked we were greeted by our salesman Eddie & the sales manager who were extremely friendly & welcoming. Our finance manager had a great personality & really worked with us for a great deal. Overall the dealership was very nice, clean and we love that they offered our 2.5 yr old granddaughter toys and coloring book to keep her entertained. They use misleading and manipulative advertising so why would the purchase experience be any different? I have a 2017 KIA with ~52,400 miles on it currently and is still under warranty. An intermittent issue has recently started to occur where one of the cylinders is misfiring. I know this because the check engine light came on, and I was able to read the code, P0304 (see picture), with an OBD II scanner. When the misfiring occurs, the car loses a substantial amount of power and is accompanied with aggressive shaking. When it first occurred, it only lasted for a matter of seconds, but the past couple times, it has been lasting for minutes. So, after ruling out bad fuel, I decided to bring it to the dealership. I was told the issue must be reproduced before they can proceed any further. The car was driven briefly, and the service rep came to me explaining they were unable to reproduce the issue so no further action could be taken. Irritated with this, I told him I suppose I will have to fix it myself. He said it wasn't the case, to which I replied that something has to be done about it because the sporadic power loss is a safety issue, and the misfiring is going to ruin the catalytic converter. He decided to drive it again, putting a combined total of ~18 miles on the car and still no luck. He came back again and called me to the service desk saying they won't be able to help further because they could not reproduce the issue but to bring it in when the CEL comes on again. Being that the issue is intermittent, the CEL only stays on as long as the car is misfiring, so I realized I'm wasting my time here. They can't pop the hood because they were unable produce a code after ~18 miles. I get it, they have to follow KIA's protocol. They did their job, and they were reasonable about it, but I most likely will not buy a KIA again in the future. I also realize other car companies probably have similar protocols, but here I am stuck driving a car that suffers sporadic power loss even though it's under warranty. Cool huh?

Worse experienced ever. I drove 3 and a half hours to this dealership to handle with one specific person. When i got here everything was good working with kelvin then another sales person came and started taking over which i didnt like. I expect dealing with 1 person the whole time i dont need 2 people telling me information. This other guy name jack didn't want to help me kept bullishitting me around saying i only had this option and this specific payment which i even knew that was bs also he just wanted commission. All they care about is screwing customers over for them to get paid more. What happen with customer service and helping the customer? Long story short the kia of goose creek helped me out and actually went off their word instead of trying to get money out of it. But whoever goes here don't deal with JACK!!!

First off.. The sales rep talked to us for 20 minutes about running around on his wife at the club. We are there to buy a car.... secondly, “Buy Back Billy” doesn’t exist and it is a total scam. They “offer $4,000 above KBB trade in value”. They valued our car at 16,500 and our car in “good” condition on KBB is worth 16,888 minimum trade-in! Also, kept trying to put us in a new car over and over when we repeatedly asked for used. He even stated he and his wife never buy new cars but proceeded to try and put us in one!! Ugh, I left FUMING because we wasted 3 hours away from our 5 month old daughter dealing with these people. we will never EVER return again. Very dissatisfied.i felt like at every turn we were being scammed or tricked into something we didn’t want.
