I called first thing in the morning when they opened to inquire about a special I had heard about on a radio commercial (I had already tried to find out more info on the special online, to no avail). I was told all the basic info: the special is for new cars, purchase not lease, and you must be approved. I didn't want to drive all the way out there without knowing I was approved first because I knew I wouldn't be able to swing the payments on a NEW car without all aspects of the special being in place. I filled out the online pre-approval, and about 2 hours later was told everything looked good, and I was approved. I headed right out there (had to drop my fiance off at work early because if I got called into work, I would have to go straight in from the dealership) to test drive and hopefully purchase a vehicle. I'm in a crunch because my car died 4 days ago, and even though I'm on call on this (and the following) Saturday, it's my only opportunity to go to the dealership due to my work hours during the week. I talked with the salesman about what I was looking for, looked at a couple of options, then test drove a vehicle. When we returned, it was time for numbers and purchase. THIS is the point in time that I found out I couldn't get 0% financing (part of the advertised special that I had inquired about before even getting pre approved) because it was only available for one particular make of vehicle. They knew which vehicle I was wanting to buy BEFORE I came out there because they asked. I KNEW I didn't want a car payment as high as a NEW vehicle +interest would be, which is why I wanted to make sure I qualified for the advertised special. I wasted my (and their) entire afternoon going out there to look at a vehicle that I was NEVER going to get because they weren't up front with me. Saturday as far as the dealerships is now over, I didn't get a car because I spent my entire afternoon at this dealership, and now have to wait an ENTIRE week before I can look again. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing even a used vehicle here because they weren't up front with me about my inquiries, and they flat out wasted my time.

My husband and I were looking to trade in his old car for a minivan that would hold our growing family. We found a used Honda Odyssey online that we really liked and was a great price. It was, however, located in Augusta. We were planning to go to Augusta to look at it when we learned that Ed, from Honda of Aiken, was going there to get it for us and bring it to Aiken. We loved the van and loved the service. Ed was very kind and patient. He answered all of our questions and was willing to go the extra mile if asked. Following an accident earlier this month, I needed to get another car. It had to be a Honda! Tony Powell and Mingo Dicks worked with me, and they were wonderful. I'm now leasing a 2019 Fit, and I love it!

Purchased a high mileage used Honda Accord. The salesman Donald got me out for a test drive and then we discussed price. I’m not into the long negotiation process and Donald and the management team were efficient with working with me. After deciding to purchase the car I waited some additional time to speak with the accounting/finance department. I believe the accounting gentleman was named Mingo and he went through all of the paperwork and answered my questions. I take one star away because I asked Donald to have the service department replace several missing plastic fasteners on the underside of the bumper (trivial fix) but when I picked up the car those fasteners were not replaced. I hope the car works out. I would consider checking out Honda Cars of Aiken again.

100% best car buying experience of my life. Ed was so incredibly knowledgeable. He knew everything about the car and offered some fun facts about Honda. I haven’t met the other sales people and don’t feel the need to. If I ever need another car or refer someone, it will be in Ed’s direction. Before I left, he made sure the Bluetooth was set up and I knew everything I needed to know. He was also kind enough to tell me if I forgot, or needed a refresher, to stop back by and he would go over everything. Excellent experience!!!

We came here after being quoted over MSRP on a new car at another Honda dealership. Honda Cars of Aiken gave us a price over the phone about $4k less than the other dealership and when we actually went there, we got an even better price for a new car that fit our needs perfectly and a reasonable price for our trade. These guys were very polite. We had to wait a minute to sign papers with finance, but it was worth it!

Lies lies and more lies. Go to Augusta. They won't scam you like Honda cars of Aiken will.. They tacked on THREE warranties. NONE of which I knew about OR wanted. And on top of all that, they don't cover ANYTHING that breaks on it. They do not care about you, only your money. I told them I couldn't afford more than 4 they wouldn't go any less than 6. As a final insult, they ran my credit report NINE TIMES without my consent for even ONCE!! I came in with my offer from my bank!!!! Scam artist! Stay away

Fast & efficient are what come to mind with my visit. I had spoke with Rachel Richardson on the last Thurs. of June 2019 about a car I had seen and she said it would be waiting for my Sat.visit so I took care of getting my funds in order on Fri. That is when salesman Levar Butler was able to navigate the paperwork path to show me how they use teamwork with help from their finance dept. I am so glad to be riding instead of walking this Summer. I wish my flip phone could show off my car because it's cool (with AC).

Gave them the go ahead. Pleasant waiting area with Aiken Stanadard and Augusta Chronicle both available. Read both papers, made myself a courtesy cup of coffee and I was out right on schedule. Very pleased needless to say.

We have owned 3 Hondas (2 of which we purchased here) and had all 3 serviced at this location as well. The sales process is not the best, honestly. I think they’ve had some turnover lately maybe. Bernard was our salesman and didn’t know the difference between an EX and LX Pilot, otherwise, we probably would have purchased the higher model which is what we have for our other Honda. I’ve filled out many surveys for the issues we had during the sales process but the response I’ve heard is “yeah... we’ve heard similar feedback from other customers” which isn’t a great response. I’m hoping this review helps future customers avoid the mistake we made. Do your own research! Honda has a comparison sheet between models. Ask for a copy of it! That said, recently we have had a GREAT experience with Ron in the service dept, but it seems they are constantly understaffed in that area and rarely answer the phone. We will continue to service our vehicles here because it’s the closest location to our home, but Honda has the potential to be much better.
