My husband and I have bought two cars from Galeana. My husband always make sure our car is always service and repairs are done. Our car has over 150,000 miles on it now. In June he took the car to have a coolant system flush and service. Today the check engine light came on he took it in to Galeana service department. They told him he will have to pay $200+ again for the same service he already had done. So why wasn't my thermostat check or changed. After talking to the manager he's like that's nothing I can do. THAT'S BS

Horrible experience. I was told to have my Jeep scheduled for an airbag recall. I called Galeana to schedule my appointment. They had me scheduled two weeks out after getting off the phone. After two weeks passed, I dropped my Jeep off at 8:00am that day. After dropping my Jeep off, I had to spend $17 in order to get back to work. I called back around 12:30 to get a status of the maintenance being performed on my Jeep. I was told it should be done by the end of the day, around 5ish. I was dropped off around 3:30 that day by a generous co worker. I went to the counter to see how much was left to do and was told that the parts were “on order.” As you can see, it took the “bright” staff of Galeana 8 hours to realize they did not have the parts needed to fix my recall, and figured it would be a good idea to not let me know so I can pick my Jeep up earlier if I do choose. You would think that having two weeks surpass after making my appointment, they would know whether or not they had the parts to complete the recall. Instead they told me to bring my car in for it to just sit at their shop for 8 hours. In summary, I dropped my Jeep off for recall maintenance, and NOTHING was done to my vehicle. It was an entire waist of my time and money. Galeana, you should be ashamed to call yourself a Chrysler/Jeep service facility if you’re going to continue to treat customers like this. Please make sure you have parts to fix recalls before you send out emails to customers asking them to bring their vehicles in. It will save you and your customers time and heartache.......and you won’t have angry customers posting stories such as this. Fix yourself.

The vehicle inspection report showed the need for an expensive repair, but when the time came to have the work done, the mechanic, noted that a much less expensive new part would do. Galeana is where I get all my oil changes. Antonio and crew is superb. You are given approximate times when your repairs will be complete and I have never been disappointed. For oil changes, the package for 4 consecutive oil changes are great and economically sound. Try the guys because you will not be disappointed.

Had car in for warranty work and oil change. I was charged for oil change, but they had NOT performed the oil change. I checked oil level before leaving and it looked dirty and a little low. I went back into service and the rep confirmed that oil change was not performed. They took car back, and changed oil fairly quickly, also vacuumed the car to make up for inconvenience. Overall service dept was helpful and easy to work with, and warranty work was completed satisfactorily. Just very disappointed that I was originally charged for work that wasn’t performed, and that I needed to check oil to determine if work was done.

Husband spent roughly and hour and a half to get an express oil change. They almost used conventional oil when he asked for full synthetic and after providing a coupon specifying full synthetic. Clerk could not explain the additional charges after coupon. She said she didn’t know anything about any of that. Got a service member to break it down. Also wanted to charge $70 to replace a cabin and engine filter which we did for less than $20. Still got a good deal for oil change and tire rotation with the coupon but it would have been less hassle and better service to go to Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers.

Amazing service from the minute I walked in till I left. I told Antonio I was in a rush for an oil change he took my keys and had it straight into the service bay. 30 minutes later I was being walked into cashier to pay. A comprehensive list showing me all fluids where topped off and tires checked was provided and explained.Thank you again Antonio will not be going anywhere else for service to my Jeep.

I have been a customer since 1998 and have after this last experience I may never purchase another vehicle from Galeana. I had to have body work done and although in the past I have been pleased with the results, this last time I was given my car back with no windshield wipers, several areas where the paint job was done poorly and the interior of my car covered in a coating of thick paint dust(leather seats, dash, floors,roof everywhere)nothing was covered to protect it. The car wasn't cleaned on the outside. I was disappointed and called immediately and was told to return the following day, which I did but was advised that they were not notified I would be returning. I sought out the GM who was helpful. But I stilk had to have my car interior cleaned after a n additional poor job.

A lot better to deal with than most dealerships, but they are still a car dealership. Their job is to separate you from as much of your money as possible. Stay firm, they’ll work with you. Don’t go to Augusta Ga Kia.

Responding to management. Karl did not offer me any discounts. That made me mad. My car was services by galeana in June. August come, the system that Galeana service. Is now showing check engine. My first thought, didn't I just get that service. The rule is. You take it back to the last person that touched it, Galeana. I knew of the $75 charge to check it. I had a free one done. They want to check it. Without waving the fee. With him looking at the computer. Showing they did the job. After seeing they did the job. He quoted me a price of $221. To install a $14 part. If the coolant was so old. The thermostat was old too. At the time of service. It was working just fine then. Two months later, they want to charge me $221 for the same job. With no offer of a discount. Then lie and say they offer a discount. I loved Galeana, but I didn't feel the love in return. After seeing this review. Management didn't call me. They know my number when they want to sale me a car. But, don't know my number to fix a problem. What do you think of that?

Purchased my first Kia (Soul) in 2013. Darren Doar was the salesman. I remember we were very limited in money, and needed a miracle deal to get our daughter into a car. Darren was amazing...did the entire deal over the phone, and everything was exactly as described. The entire process went flawless. Fast Forward six years and the soul bit the dust in a accident, and so it was time for another vehicle for my son this time. Had been shopping for several weeks looking for another soul or forte, and was continually getting the run around at several dealer...."Just come in and test drive"....ugh. Terribly sneaky and devious dealers everywhere. Then I got an email from Galeana....and remembered that we did buy from there before.....and lo and behold....Darren still works there..! He was SO FAST with a quote....WITHOUT having to drive there. It wasn't the best quote....but it was the most transparent....and then he texted back that we qualified for an additional rebate....and OMG.....we were $1000 lower than anything else within 200 miles. Just a great deal! Darren had the car Detailed amazingly for my son as we drove in....was impeccable! The entire process was smooth and easy....great salesman.....will not get a Kia from anywhere else again! The dealer could use a another finance office....the finance guy was great....no pressure....no issues....but in my opinion they just need another guy to get the deals through more quickly. If you are shopping for a new Kia.....PLEASE CALL Darren.....IMO....there is no reason to call anyone else.

Disappointed in my experience with Galeana. TL;DR Galeana service did not recommend an alignment after suspension work forcing me to replace good tires 4 months later. When contacted they admitted fault but refused to do anything about it. I brought my wife's car in to get a fix on a recall. I ask for a quote to have the ball joints replaced as one was very worn. The price was (surprisingly) comparable to other quotes I had received. It took all day but everything went well. 5 months later I noticed my front tires, which are 2-years <8,000 miles, are wearing unevenly & close to balding on the inside. I ask questions on a few online forums and get told that an alignment should have been done when ball joints were replaced. I call Galeana service, get Kevin on the phone, and start with the question "In your opinion, is it necessary to do an alignment after a ball joint replacement?". Kevin replies "Oh I would always recommend it and its commonplace for us to do it here". So then I asked why I wasn't recommended to have an alignment done when they did suspension work. He looked up the work order and says "strange, they don't have that they recommended or suggested an alignment for you". He did more digging and said they should have, and they didn't. I then ask can he give me a deal on two tires and an alignment. He then tries to sell me two tires and an alignment for 45% more than the locally owned tire shop in my neighborhood. I cannot recommend visiting Galeana if you are looking for sound mechanic work or advice.

I didn’t buy my vehicle here but I do get it serviced here. Oil changes are super quick and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Great place to get your vehicle services. Prices are reasonable. It’s definitely a place that you can get in and out of within an hour (lunch) for an oil change instead of taking up time on a Saturday! If that doesn’t work for you, they are open on Saturdays too!

My last experience at Galeana was the worst one EVER!! I have been bringing my car there for my routine oil changes every since I got it in 2011. I have NEVER let anyone else look under my hood!! I was told that I had a "severe" oil leak around my oil pan! Yeah..right!! I have not seen ANY oil leaking which I stated..no alert to tell me that I needed to change it. I just know how often I should change the oil. Then I was asked if I parked on cement. Uh..what does that have to do with anything?!! No matter where I parked IF I had a "severe" oil leak I'd see it!! I don't know what kind of "CROOKS" you all have there now but you all shouldn't be trying to charge people for repairs that do not exist or for ones that you are creating. This is what I missed about my Dad. He was an honest mechanic!! You all need to create such an atmosphere there!! It's been a little over a week since I had the oil changed..still NO sight of an oil leak. What I should do is "BLAST" you all on EVERY Social Media outlet!! I once thought the world of you all..now I'm going to have to find somewhere else to take my car!! Sad!!!

I love Galena and have always had great experience with the service department until this one case on Thursday, August 1st. My husband took my car in for service and for diagnostics and waited in the waiting room for it to be completed. After a while, I received a call from a technician asking to speak with my husband. I told him that my husband was in the waiting room and he could speak with him in person. I was then told rather sharply, “I don’t have time to go find him.” I said, “excuse me???” He said again rudely, “I don’t have time to go find him. Have a good day.” I said, “wait a minute...excuse me. You have MY car in YOUR shop and my husband is right there and you are telling me you don’t have time to speak to him face to face? I need to speak with your manager.” After asking him several times to speak with his manager as he proceeded to speak over me, someone named Alex came on the phone. I explained what happened and Alex apologized but he NEVER went to speak with my husband. They sent someone else out. This is NOT the professionalism that I expect from this Dealership.

I took my car in to get my left bearing changed. The only issue I had was it was making a grinding noise when I turned. I got my car back and the grinding noise is gone but now my car vibrates at high speed and my steering wheel make a clunking sound. None of that was a problem when I gave the car to them. I have taken my ca into this place several time with it coming back with the initial problem fixed but a new issue that cost more. I would not recommend this place or these mechanics. Being a mechanic myself I understand normal wear and tear but a car should not come back to its owner with more issues than it went in with and being a veteran people should have to doubt the mechanic.

This is one of those reviews that gets one star only because zero out of five isn't an option. I've even been holding off on writing this just because I didn't want to be writing it based solely off of emotion and anger. I had been looking with my wife for a Jeep Wrangler for a while and finally decided we were ready to buy one. Spent hours looking for one while in Charlotte one weekend, but couldn't settle on one. The following weekend we got up early to go to Galeana and another dealership - but ended back at Galeana because they had the larger selection. The first sales rep listened to what we were looking for, but ended up bringing out the GM (Joe Owens). First impressions weren't good when he didn't even offer to shake my hand, but that's just me. After a few moments of telling him exactly what we were looking for he told me that all the Jeeps were unlocked and to check them out and let him know what I wanted. While making my way around the lot my wife stayed back and spoke to Joe more. He actually had the audacity to tell my wife that he didn't know why I was "waisting his time" and that I "either buy a Jeep or I don't." My wife being smart knew not to tell me what he said while we were there, but he got much worse. Out of all the Jeeps, the one I really wanted to see was locked. I figured maybe this was their standard procedure when the car was currently on hold or being negotiated so I asked him why it was locked and explained just that reasoning. His response was, "why the hell would I know why that one is locked?! I have over 500 cars in my lot and you expect me to keep track of why one just happens to be locked." Keep in mind this was the GM! So I let it slide, he said he'd go get the first guy to help me so I said yes. I had to speak over him to ask him to go get the other guy so I could see the car just because he kept going on about having 500 cars and being rude about me asking why it was locked. So he tells me, "Sure I'll go get (whoever)", but then he just stares at me looking like he wanted to fight and didn't move. Then he condescendingly asked me if I wanted "a water, some popcorn? Coffee, cream, sugar?" I kept saying no thank you, but after his third of fourth patronizing response I said "we're just going to leave," he asked why I was being so "combative with him..." He was doing all of this outside and in front of other customers. I have never had such a horrible experience or met such or piss poor excuse for a sales rep/GM. I will never purchase from Galeana unless they give me a FAT deal and/or/preferably remove him from his position. Unfortunately he's the GM and I have no one to report him to, but I hope karma makes its way around.

Communication was not great made an appointment for monday 7:30 am for an A/C and center console power shortage problem and Transmission. I dropped my car off Sunday night, and assumed I would be getting a call the next day for an update. This didn't happen, I eventually called to find out that my service rep was still searching for a mechanic. The repair to my A/C was finished on friday afternoon and I was charged $700 on labor for a problem that had mostly been troubleshooted. The replacement part was around $100. My total came to around $850. As you can see labor was a significant portion of my bill. I wanted my transmission worked on as well but the repair was never started. They told me that this repair was not passed down to the mechanic and I had to reschedule for the next week. That would mean leaving my car over the weekend which I couldnt do because I needed the transportation to get home to Charleston. Remember i am already paying $850 for repairs. I asked if I was eligible for a loaner to my disappointment I was not . This meant I had to come back and drop my car off for another week. I opted not to do so and to try my luck somewhere else. This was not a good experience at all

"A wonderful, pleasant experience!" I needed a vehicle quickly (my old car died!) and every single person I dealt with was amazing! Even the associates that I didn't deal with were extremely nice. Brett, my salesman, was friendly, helpful, honest and he made buying a car fun. The entire staff worked with me to ensure I was in a reliable, affordable for me car, and they also wanted me to look good! I am not a car maintenance savvy person and I made that very clear. Appointment at 11a for trailer wiring activation, oil change, and routine inspection. Was told at drop off and at 4p after I called that someone would call me to confirm services and provide a time to pickup my vehicle but never was called. Ended up getting dropped off prior to close 6p only to wait around to be told that my car was almost ready. That took another 45 mins or so. Good news is I got my car back. Bad news is no one reviewed my inspection, nor did I receive a copy. I know the oil was changed but uncertain wether the trailer lights work. The people in the service department are nice but overall disappointed with the experience.
