I was a super excited to get on the waiting list for a Toyota Supra; it has always been a dream to own a Supra, and with the new one coming out and me signing a new contract I thought it was a perfect time to order one. I did my research and was very excited to start the process; Toyota MRSP is 56k for the Launch Edition; so i figure that the dealership would mark up maybe 10k, but they wanted to charge me 100k for the supra. That is crazy that the dealership is almost doubling the mark-up. I wish you the best as i will be taking my business to Charlotte or Atlanta. Buyers beware; do your research...

Took my car in to get serviced on June 5th 2019. When I went to pick it up it said that all my fluids were checked and filled, but when I went to use my windshield washer fluid yesterday it was completely empty. It just smeared my windshield with the little bit of fluid that was left in the line. I had to get a car wash so I could see properly, and then buy some windshield washer fluid. If you're not going to fill it, DON'T CHECK IT OFF THE LIST!! What else did you check off and not do? Did you really change my oil? Did you really rotate my tires? Did you check the tire pressure? Is my vehicle safe to drive? Customers can't trust you if you lie on the forms and the work you perform. You should validate all the work performed with the customer in person. I'm very disappointed in this. They overcharge for work that may or may not be performed.

Poor Service I bought my car last July and they gave me a temporary tag. The tag got expired last September 10 and up to this date I haven’t received the tag. The manager that time told me that the transaction will be worry-free as they will be the one to settle everything not to mention that I also paid for the service and convenience. It doesn’t make any sense at this point because I cannot use my car, I bought the car so I can practice and hone my driving skills in preparation for the driving test. I reached the store and unfortunately I have been passed on to different people. One of the personnels told me to go to DMV, go out on lunch break and settle everything on my own. Why should I? Isn’t their responsibility? All the promises that have been said few months ago were blown away. So much disappointment- Not service oriented. Pure business!

Before I buy the car, they promise me this car can free wash when every time you come and 5 year warranty, but actually not when I check the Toyota official website , which means they lied to the customers . They also force me to give them 5 stars , otherwise , they will not provide me some service . Service department is will rip you up for no reason. If you take your vehicle for service than make sure it was fixed for what you took it for. I took my car for alignment after keeping my car for full day they said it is good to go but when I start driving on the road it was doing same thing. Call them back after leaving service place in less than 5 minutes they said once you out from here it is on you. Who knows if you involve in wrack or something which cause same thing! Watch out for your car needs, mostly they come up with things that don't need to be fixed but they said you do.

On 8/2/19 Maryanne was very kind and deserved 5* rating on the selling aspect of the car purchase. We walked in an hour before closing and she helped us decide on a car. She was not very pushy at all and that is something that I greatly appreciate. The added oil changes with the purchase of the car is a bonus. Thanks again for crunching the numbers so we could trade in for an SUV! This part was a good experience. EDIT as of 2:24 on 8/9/19 The current 1* rating comes from my experience today. Last Saturday after we got the car detailed at their place, my wife heard a small grind noise from the right rear, but it went away so we couldn't locate the source of it. This noise did not make the sound on the test drive that Friday night. On Friday 8/9/19, we went to get breakfast and heard a loud grinding noise not going away. The brake rotor locked up the rear tire and it skid all the way to where I was going to the car shop that thankfully was a few hundred yards away. I had my local mechanic look at it and he saw the bolt holding the brake caliper was missing and the thing that held it together, was stripped about 60% of the way. Attached is a picture of the bolt missing and the screw stripped area. My mechanic advised I contact the shop at dealership and see what they could do to get the thing fixed free of charge as should have been caught in the inspection that was done on the car by the dealership. I called around 10 am and talked to the shop and was advised that there was nothing they could do since it was a used car and to call the used car manager at noon. I called and asked for Will Stacy at 12:20 and was told he was not picking up and I left my information to call me back as it might take him up to 30 minutes with whatever they were doing. I called back at 1:50 PM and was told he was not picking up or available. Right now I feel like we've been getting the run around and disappointed about that. We are down a car and we were told that this SUV in its current condition is in no way safe to drive until that gets fixed. My mother was looking to see if she could trade in for a newer vehicle and said that I had a good experience buying the car, but it's hard to recommend dealing with a Toyota dealership at this time if this is how you get treated AFTER the car is off the lot. Dick Dyer Toyota, please make this right so I can upgrade the review to a 5*!!! EDIT 9/9/19 -- 5* put back Almost a month later and things have improved. In the weeks after this issue that happened with the bolt fell off, Will Stacy and I had several correspondences where they had to order the part from the manufacturer. We were without the car for about a week, but thankfully they found us a loaner car to have us drive. The thing that disappointed me the most about that whole ordeal was we got there at the shop that Saturday and checked in. The girls working there watching TV on their phones gave off a vibe of you're bothering me. We waited two hours for someone to come see us and give us an update on the car and no one did! (Other shops I've dealt with in the past give you updates around an hour or so of waiting so you don't feel forgotten). Finally after the two hour wait and no one coming to see us to give us an update, I went up there to ask for an update on the car. I was a tad frustrated when I was told that and my guy I worked with to sign the finance paperwork showed up and helped us get a rental car. Fast forward to the week of my wife's birthday, the car was ready and I went and picked it up. Thankfully, no issues occurred since the repair work was completed so we were able to go to ATL that weekend. The loan company that Dick Dyer used for us had everything properly setup and we have successfully made payments on the car. So all said, thank you to Jason and Will for getting this fixed for us.

I brought my 1st car from here. It's a 2014 Toyota Camry LE Hybrid. I had an amazing salesman Dwight, which walked me though the whole process along with my aunts. It was of course an all day outing, but he made it worth it. Something I'll never forget from him was his honesty. So we are always supposed to examine the car before buying, test driving and looking at anything broken or damaged. Well me nor my aunts caught the damage done to the drivers back tail light. Mr. Dwight caught it and said he would fix it for free. He ordered the part, called me two days later and I brought the car in. Upon arrival he greeted me and said he would get someone to take care of it, five minutes later he told me they were too busy and he would take care of it for me, which he did, ten minutes later and my baby was ready! He's amazing and always calls every year to tell my happy birthday and of course if I'm ready for another car.

Really feel like I got ripped off. My alignment wasn’t checked before I left and I live an hour away which means I had to find time to go back up and get it fixed. Not to mention the air conditioner doesn’t turn the way it’s supposed to and it seems like there might be an issue with the transmission, mind you I’m no mechanic but something is definitely off. Basically I don’t feel like I drove away with a car that was 100% inspected when I was guaranteed that it was. This was also supposed to be a car under my name with my dad as a co-signer, bad on me for not being more aware of what I was signing, but they put this in my dads name and not mine. I have never felt so disgusted with an experience before, and as this is my first time ever “buying” a car it has truly traumatized me.

Bought new 2019 Highlander from them. Good deal and great sales and finance personnel. Only issue is with their "E-pricing." They show a price for vehicle on their website and invite you to request an "E-price." The E-price is a couple of thousand dollars less than the discounted price on the website so you think that you are getting a better "special" price. When you get to the dealership, you find that the actual sales price is the actual discounted price from the website rather than the quoted "E-price." They say that this is due to the "dealer fees" included in the price. I don't see this as "dealer fees" but as dealer-added options. I think this practice is deceptive and buyers should be aware of this practice.

While the sale man did a great job of showing me the cars. The financial guy did not. They play the mind game to make me buy extended warranty. The pricing on the computer is not clear. They only show what you would pay monthly for each options but not the total cost of them. I was guessing that the warranty was about 4000. The guy said yes. When I went home and do the calculations, it actually 5000. I went back and ask them to cancel it. The guy gave me an attitude and kept insisting me to keep the warranty. I felt like i was a horrible person. 2 months later, the warranty cancellation went through but only 4300 was refunded. I dont even bother to call back anymore.

Back in March 2018 my wife was looking to buy an SUV. We had patiently and diligently taken the time to visit multiple locations of Ford, Jeep, Chevy, & Toyota dealerships in the Columbia (and surrounding) area. While visiting Dick Dyer Toyota on Killian Commons Parkway, we worked with Jami Snyder and could immediately experience her authenticity and expertise. It never felt like someone was chasing us for a sale or feeding us what we wanted to hear. We had very real requirements and budget concerns going in, but Jami steered us through all of that successfully and my wife ended up with, not just the car she needed, but the one she adored and deserved. We had such a great experience with Jami Snyder at Dick Dyer Toyota that, just last month, we returned to by myself a Toyota Tundra. I'm sure we will be buying vehicles through Jami for the foreseeable future.
