Very rude dealer. I along with 4 of my friends bought a car each under the leadership purchase program and Greg leechman was our dealer. He is a really rude person, manipulative and a liar. Firstly he made me feel so uncomfortable buying a car by saying stuff like "I am having a baby soon I need the money from this sale" I certainly sympathize with him but there is only a certain number of times you can play the sympathy card to a potential customer. I finally bought the car and he promised me all weather mats and it was an ordeal to finally get the mats, He never gave the mats to me and I had to call the manager and complain to finally get the mats. He also lied to us about the lpp plan saying we could return the cars before the 3 year period if we wished to. All the 5 of us who bought cars from him were of the same opinion, because that's how he misled us. He does not care about the customer the second after he makes the sale. Pathetic liar and selfish.

I was blown away by the level of service I received here today! The new facility is clean, the staff were incredibly helpful, and the waiting area is fantastic whether you want to relax, or get some work done. They've even got a cafe where Jason will cook breakfast and lunch, and even make some specialty coffee. Excellent service, from every staff member I interacted with, it's a good welcome to Greenville!

Love the experience. Bought my car, 2017 Civic Coupe EX-T after just 3 hours, but the friendly atmosphere made me stay much longer. Derek and Ryan are really cool people, I kinda wanna work there now. Ps, there's actually an upgrade program and a referral program, tell them Lei sent ya ;)

Great experience buying an Odyssey here from salesman Chris DeWitt. Not only did he find the right car for us, he does a fantastic follow up with monthly personal newsletter offering good information and even cooking recipes! The service team is excellent and efficient and they have a very comfortable waiting area with free refreshments, TV, etc. Everyone here goes out of their way to make your buying experience and service visits as pleasant as possible.

Long Story Short: I had two extremely poor experiences from Honda dealerships within North Carolina. I then had to golden opportunity to meet Taylor. We were able to agree on a firm and fair price shortly after speaking. The next day she had my car and paperwork ready to go. I found EXACTLY what I wanted with ZERO hassle. My grandma got a car there and two weeks later the check engine light came on. Went up there to see if they would take care of it but they wouldn't because hpshe didn't get a warranty with the car. Tired to charge her $75 just to see what's wrong with it. She took it to her mechanic and said it was something they would have to had known before selling the car. We took our vehicle for an oil change and when we picked our vehicle up for some reason they couldn't find it and fumbled around for a few minutes trying to locate it. They finally brought our car around and we confirmed with the service guy that everything was done and he said yes. After we got home I decided to check the oil myself and it was the same dirty oil with the same filter, not to mention it wasn't even at the full mark on the dipstick.. We called and spoke to the service guy and he admitted that someone screwed up and apologized, but it's too late for that... Lesson learned and never again. I'm just thankful that we checked rather than taking their word for it and we didn't end up hurting the engine. By the way, they did reset the oil change monitor on the car.... BEWARE!!!

Super sketchy experience. My sells person quit a day after I got my car, then everyone treated me like crap. Shifting me from one person to another. Claiming they did not need to provide the services promised on the "We Owe You" paperwork. Finally got them to agree to fix the paint recall on my car, they told me it would be 48-72 hours and I would be back in my car, it is now 9 days later. I called in and they're like oh we just dropped it off to get painted. Super sketchy experience. With the taste in my mouth right now, I would not recommend this dealership.

Took my car in for a service that should have taken 5-10 minutes. Was told there would be a $100 "Diagnostic Fee." When I informed them that I had the extended warranty, the Diagnostic Fee changed to a $100 Deductible to my Warranty (whatever that means). Basically they tried to nickel and dime me because my service job wasn't worth their while. Would never purchase a vehicle from this dealer!

I made it clear I did not!! want to speak with whom ever I emailed Saturday. After a back and forth exchange he screenshot where I emailed Sharon pointing this out to me saying with no disrespect it was Sharon. That right there is disrespectful after I ask not to talk to her! and confrontational. He then continued to say with no disrespect I respect your decision. Btw if you have to repeat with no disrespect you are being disrespectful!! Breakaway and apple tree Honda never seem to be confrontational or make the customer feel awkward. Dick brooks seems to hit that on all points of making me feel awkward.

RUDEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I met with Sharon Grillo (the internet sales manager) after talking to her through emails. I went with a friend and she was cold from the very beginning. She was very hesitant to let me test drive a car when I told her I am a new driver and was looking for a budget car. So, I let my friend do the test drive. She kept us waiting while she spoke to her friends. Finally we wanted to get a quote from her and she was downright rude to us. We told her we would get the car this weekend once my husband gets back in town if we liked the numbers. She refused to give us a good/final quote to us since my husband would make the decision anyway. She gave us one quote and said "no incentives". She didn't try to be a sales person at all. The quote was higher than expected and when we tried to ask her a few questions, she got really rude. We then decided to leave and said "thank you" and she responded "Thanks for (wasting) my time". We walked out, but came back to lodge a complaint and she came to us and said "I was not being rude..We just agree to disagree"...When we tried explaining that she had been rude/cold to us previously, she just kept repeating "We just agree to disagree". After trying to make a point, we finally gave up and said "There is a way you should speak to a customer. You just lost a sale" and she retorted "Frankly, I don't care!" Are you serious? How do you not care that you just lost a sale for your company because of your attitude? I have never met a ruder person in my life. We just left the place fuming.

Has good service but prices are EXTREMELY unfair. For both sets of brakes to be done on my car, a front alignment, two new tires, and a oil change, they wanted to charge $2,225! I went to my family mechanic and they guarantee their work instead of a short warranty and got the exact same thing done and only paid $670. No problems whatsoever. Runs perfect!

I have never had such a horrible car buying experience in my life. The sale manager, Jeff, and general manager, Ed Rich, were extremely condescending and rude when speaking to me. Their pompous attitudes toward a woman purchasing a vehicle on her own were absolutely terrible. Jeff told me that he wanted to “educate” me on how the car buying process worked. Ed informed me that I would never be able to get more for my trade or less on the car I wanted to purchase. To “educate” both of them, I was able to easily find someone who gave me more for my trade and an off the lot price that is $1,000 lower than their “unbeatable offer.” I also dealt with a respectful salesman and manager. To the other single moms looking to purchase a car, steer clear of Dick Brook’s Honda until they have removed Ed Rich and Jeff from their positions of power.

Absolutely stay away. We’ve had a horrible time with our odyssey and the customer service is horrible. While the repairs are covered under an extended warranty due to a class action lawsuit, they offer no loaner vehicle or pay for a rental, so you’re just on your own to figure out how to replace your transportation. Honda reliability isn’t what it once was and their customer service is non existent. We were once loyal Honda customers, but we’ve learned the hard way that they aren’t loyal to their customers.

poor service dept experience especially from Billy. Bought a new 2017 Accord Touring there and the extra warranties that include road hazard on tires. Called and made appointment to have a tire checked that would need air every three days. told them the wife would bring it in and that is why i wanted an appointment to make sure there was an allotted time slot. well after 2 hrs they came out and said there was a nail in the tire and then it only took thirty minutes to fix. Warranty work is always last to be done. The appointment setter asked if I wanted a car wash also and i said sure. of course when the car was finallllllly ready it had not been washed. they called the next day to ask if the service was ok and i said no and told her the whole story. told me a service mgr would be calling to follow up but that was three days ago and have not heard a word. We are ready to buy a new pilot and have been waiting on them to get the one in we want but after this encounter i will buy elsewhere and advise others to do the same. this is the third problem i have had with the service dept.

I took our Honda Element for a recall in the driver side airbag, while I usually would never step in a dealership, this was a different experience. The guys in the service department gave me there expectations when I arrived and was ok with the car being there the majority of the day. They offered to detail the car after they had finished with the recall fix. I left expecting to receive a call later in the afternoon when the car was finished but they had finished with the work by lunch. To say the least, I was very pleased with the time table in which they gave but they even exceeded that time. My thought on dealerships have changed because of my experience with Dick Brooks Honda in Greer.

Came in to get an oil change only to find out they're did not change my oil and just added extra which could have blown my gaskets. I complained but I was very disappointed because there's always someone telling you what they have found and what needs to be repaired. What's the point of they are not going to change or repair it? I'm really nervous about going back to them, will have Mark the object that should be changed. I really loved going here and trusted them to take care of me. Sad...

After 6 years, have given up on Dick Brooks Honda for service. No particular horror stories, but increasingly over the past year or so, it has become clear that the service department is far more interested in upselling and add-on charges than in making sure our cars are in tip-top condition and preserving a long-term relationship based on trust and respect. It's a shame, because we've bought several cars there over the years and I was content to pay the premium that goes with dealer service -- until I felt like it was more of an adversarial relationship than a partnership. I suppose you get what you pay for -- until you don't. I hate having to feel like I've got to call in my attorney and expert witnesses every time I take my car to the shop to make sure I'm not being taken advantage of. Anyway, it's kind of sad, because I liked having "my place" for cars, but loyalty has to be a two-way street ...

Dick Brooks Honda of Greer may be a reputable place to buy a car, and I'm sure they do a great job of it. I, myself, was commissioned to take several deliveries to them a couple of years back which were ordered and paid for by a manager/superior member of the staff. These deliveries were for food, and added up to about 200 dollars worth of food each time. I drove my own car 12 miles there and 12 miles back. The staff there represented themselves poorly in these instances, as no one cared to help me carry any of the food in (I made several trips) yet everyone had time to crowd around me and tell me how worthless and ugly my car was and how I should buy a new Honda. Also, no tip at all was given for my services (including 24 miles worth of driving).

Dick Brooks Honda and my salesperson, Carlos, went so far above and beyond for me! My car buying experience *before I went to them* can only be described as disastrous. I had put down deposits on four different cars, with each one being "accidentally" sold or having some other issue. Finally, a month after I began car shopping, I gave up on getting my dream car and decided to test drive something else at a local dealer. Well, it just so happened that the exact car I wanted came up at Dick Brooks the night before my test drive, and called about it. There were no pictures online as it hadn't even been on the lot yet. Carlos went out of his way to describe the car, send me photos, and hold the car for me. He was the first salesperson I dealt with (out of probably 50 across the South East) who was completely true to his word - the car was there when I got there, being held for me! The car was in nearly perfect condition, and better than he had described! He was honest, patient with me having to come in from out of town (and having tons of questions), and efficient. My finance person was David, and he was just as honest, friendly, and efficient! I was driving away in my new car in less than 2 hours! After all that, they were able to do even better on the price than we originally thought! Dick Brooks Honda is a rarity in car sales and I'll be starting my car search with them next time!! Make sure you look over used cars before you buy them. I was rushed for time when I bought mine and finally got to looking over it in my free time. Lots of damage and missing parts. Be wary and take your time to inspect the vehicle before your purchase. Update, the car they sold me and told me had 1 "minor to no damage accident" when the car actually had 2 accidents. Scummy dealership with scummy practices, buy else where

worst customer service ever.... I was calling to schedule my cars first oil change hopping to us Honda of Greer from now on because of how close it is to my house, but forget that, just the customer service over the phone is awful, I have called four times! Just to schedule a simple oil change! The lady that answered the phone all four times is rude, no customer service skills whatsoever, I was transferred 4 times to the service center and only once they answered, his computer didn’t work, he was talking to someone else while on the phone with me.... super rude and at the end the phone call got hanged up. I rather drive further away to get an oil change because if this is what it’s like to just schedule an appointment.... wow

The service department here is not very helpful or knowledgeable. The check engine light in our 2000 Honda Accord LX came on and the D4 light on the dash flashed one day when my husband started it up. Everything seemed to point to a transmission problem (which is very common in years 1998-2002). My husband took it in so they could read the code. They charged us $100 and told us we needed a new transmission. To have it totally replaced there (they don't fix transmissions there, only replace them) would run us $7500!! The sales reps ran right over and started talking about getting us in a new car, etc. Well, a few days later the check engine light went off by itself (obviously if it had been a transmission failure/mechanical failure it would NOT have done so!). We talked with a mechanic and did our own research only to find that out that particular code was also a code for a solenoid valve malfunction. To get new valves would only run us around $200. That's a major difference in price (and trade-in value!) and it makes me wonder how in depth they bothered to check it out. If we had not done our own research and relied on their "expertise," we would have been out thousands. I'm sure if you are looking for a new car, Dick Brooks is a good place to go. Just go somewhere else to get that car serviced.

Dick Brooks Honda in Greer is the absolute worse place to purchase a car. They sold me a lemon. They flat out refused to help me to get into another vehicle and the sorry salesmen refused to return my calls and always gave lame excuses on why my car was a lemon. They said that is the risk I took buying a used car with lots of miles on it. If they really checked out my car prior to putting it on the lot, I wouldn't have had to take it back only one month after buying for them to basically tape up my transmission and they kept my car for 2 months and my car still wasn't fixed right. I told them that my bank financed me for another car and I was willing to purchase a new car from them if only they would trade my old car back in to them. They flat out refused to help me. Then they only wanted to say that my trade in was worth some lousy pennies on the dollar and wouldn't even attempt to give me the max for my trade, which I purchased from them. I barely have had my car for 2 years and haven't even put 30K miles on the car because I have had to put my car in the shop several times with major repairs to be done, that somehow slipped thru their fingers at their so called 120-point inspection. At all cost, avoid Dick Brooks Honda in Greer because all the do is sell lemons and take your hard earned money to make a sale. Their service and sales suck!! If Dick Brooks himself knew what type of salesmen he had working for his company, he would fire them all on the spot.

Awful service department. U went in for a simple 20 minute flash drive update and 4 hours later the had locked my entire IMID system and want 1,300 to replace it. I've NEVER seen a dealership actually damage your car and charge you for it. I strongly recommend going to another dealership

Dick Brooks in Greer is a good dealership. I was interested in buying a new car for my wife, but not all of the B.S. that normally comes with process. I asked for quotes from several local and more distant dealers (always use one of two out of town dealers, as they know they have to be very competitive to get your business). I told them that I wan't going to use one dealer's price against another, "Just give me your best price." Brooks was a lot less than other local stores and nearly the same price as Atlanta. I am very disappointed in Dick Brooks Honda. I purchased a Honda Accord from another dealership in 2014 since I had a friend who worked there as a salesman. Five years later, my cv joint is going bad. I purchased the extended warranty and called Dick Brooks Service Dept to see if they could do the repairs since it is under warranty and they are much closer to my house. I have purchased 2 Hondas from Dick Brooks in the past and advised the service tech whenever I called. He said that he would ask the service manager and they would call me back. Needless to say, no one ever called me back. I realize I didn't purchase my last car from them but it's a manufacturer's warranty so they would get paid for their work same as any other dealership. Since they have no sense of loyalty to previous customers, I'm not so sure I will purchase a vehicle from them in the future. Guess I will just stick with the dealership in Easley.
