My wife and I were traveling through South Carolina, from the Piedmont region of North Carolina, to go camping at Lake Hartwell when the transmission on my Ford F150 blew out. We were stuck on the side of I-85 with a camper in tow and had already decided the week prior that we weren't going to put another dime into the F150 as it had become nothing more than a money pit over the years. We called our insurance agent who set up a tow truck and one of our options was to have the F150 towed to Burns Chevrolet. I spoke with Josh Henley, explained our situation and told him we were looking to purchase a truck. Josh drove out to our location on the side of the highway to pick up my wife and take her back to the dealership while I waited for another tow truck to pick up the camper. Josh knew we were only halfway to our destination and went out of his way to speed up the purchase process. When my second tow truck fell through (to get the camper) he even drove back out to me on the side of the highway to hook up to the truck we were in the process of purchasing. Once we purchased the truck Josh helped us unload the F150 into the Silverado! This was the best experience we have ever had purchasing a truck!

Our experience started off great when we were buying our truck; Bradley was super friendly and made the whole experience a breeze. Now, the experience has turned awful. We purchased an extended warranty and we were told by Scott Young, the finance manager, that if we decided we didn't want it, we could cancel it within 30 days for a full refund. Well, we're coming up on the 30 days and haven't been able to cancel it because Scott keeps giving us the run around. We've tried contacting him several times and every time he's either "not available" or he says he'll take care of it and give us a call back - he never does either. We decided since we weren't getting anywhere with him to contact the warranty company - they told us that Burns Chevrolet haven't even sent in the paperwork. Now, Scott is telling us that his boss will take care of it on Thursday (which is the last possible day that it can be taken care of). At this moment, I feel that we're going to get screwed and have to keep the warranty because we will be out of the cancellation time frame. I'm extremely irritated by this! He has made our whole experience terrible and we will never again buy from this dealership. I also want to say that this dealership is an hour away from our house and we went out of our way to shop here. UPDATE: The owner called us personally to take care of our issue and made sure that everything got taken care of.
