I recently purchased a 2006 Honda Ridgeline from Bradshaw Acura. My sales person was Tim Brown. Eric handled the paperwork closing. I had called Tim after seeing the vehicle online and he went on the lot and gave me a very detailed description and answered all of my questions in a very professional, friendly, and courteous manner. After driving three and a half hours from our home to Greenville, my wife and I inspected the vehicle and drove it. The vehicle was as described, with a few minor cosmetic issues that were resolved in a very prompt and highly satisfactory manner. This was one of my best experiences buying an automobile - and I have been buying from dealers and sales people for fifty years. Yes, that is 50 years. I highly recommend Bradshaw Acura and Tim Brown. The organization and Mr. Brown truly represent what all dealers strive to achieve - meeting the needs of customers in a professional, honest, and straightforward manner.

My visit to Bradshaw Acura was very, very good. I have had my eye on the Acura MDX for over a year and now I am finally driving one. I generally visit car lots when I know they are closed to avoid pushy sales people. I did that this time, decided on the car I wanted, came home and visited the website, left my name and I got a return call the following day from Mike Burgess. He was very nice and he wasn't pushy, which I liked. So, later that afternoon I went to the dealership and he was just as nice in person as he was on the phone. I then met JJ and he was also nice and helpful. I appreciated the fact that both made an effort to help me find the car that was right for me. They provided information that helped me find the car that I currently have and love. I all so would like to say Scott was very helpful when it came to the financial aspect of the purchase. I would love to give a positive review but that is not the purpose of this review. My daughter, who is in college, did research and found a vehicle that she loved at the used car dealership of Bradshaw Acura. Everything went great...I talked to the dealership and offered an amount (sight unseen). The sales person (Ron) was awesome!!! He took care of us and made the whole process very easy and enjoyable. Here's where the problem begins. We bought the vehicle "As Is." Now I understand why used dealerships do this and when we take it upon ourselves to purchase an "As Is" vehicle, we also take on the realization that there may be things needed to be done. However, most of us I believe would expect those needed things to be minor..maybe a few hoses or plugs...maybe even tires. We bought the vehicle on the 18th of February and in 10 days my daughter could no longer drive it. Turns out there is a cooling system issue and a new part (just the part) would be around $1,200. I called and let Ron know that we were having issues. I let him know that I understood we bought the vehicle "As Is" but that we didn't expect to buy a used vehicle and it not work in less than two weeks unless we spend a minimum of $1,200. He actually agreed and inquired if the dealership would be able and willing to do something. He called me back to let me know that they were unwilling to do anything. He gave me the phone number for the head of sales and I called to speak with him. I didn't get him so I left a message and asked him to call back. I then let Ron know what I had done and to make sure the gentleman had my number. Almost 2 months later and I never received a call from the head of sales and nothing has been done. We are still trying to fix my daughter's vehicle. So she has been without since the end of February. Take this review for what you will. I believe that you need to be able to trust that even a used vehicle is going to last more than 10 days and that a dealership with used cars for sale needs to do whatever it can to let the public know that they stand behind their vehicles and you can confidently buy even a used vehicle even from them. I will not ever buy a vehicle from them again. They may have been great for others, but you never know when you will be the one to buy a used vehicle from them that lasts 10 days and needs a huge money fix. I would suggest you find another used car dealership.

I am a very dissatisfied PAYING customer. Brought my car in to have some transmission and clutch work done on it. After the initial diagnosis, they kept coming back telling me more things were wrong. I haven't been treated fairly in any way, shape, or form. They had the car over a month and when I got the car back, that same day the new clutch fell apart. Acura had it towed back to the service center and gave me a loaner Monday August 22nd 2016, after some convincing. Wednesday August 24th 2016 they told me to bring the loaner car back or they were going to report the loaner "stolen". My car is still at the Acura dealership so I'm still a customer I'm just not paying for any extra work to be done on it when I have a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty on my car that barely made it 20 miles before it tore up. I am not being treated fairly as a customer and this is the worst experience I have ever had.

They are very friendly and helpful with just about any question you might have. There is absolute no pressure involved when it comes to actually making a purchase. The cars are great and in good condition overall. Also they have a wide variety of different models and options. I got exactly what i wanted and i drove away in a 2011 Acura TSX. Eddie is a great salesman and knows exactly what he is talking about. He will do anything and everything to make you feel comfortable as well as making sure you getting exactly what you want. I would highly recommend this dealership as well as Eddie Hunt himself.

I had a 2005 Acura TL and beings I lived an hour away I only went to them for specialized service. I was impressed with the valet service and the professional-ness of the service staff. Their customer waiting room is phenomenal- free coffee, soda, snacks, pastries and all kinds of magazines and newspapers. A VERY good experience.

I recently purchased a used car from Bradshaw. I noticed the next day it was making a grinding noise. I took it back up to the service department the following Monday. They immediately diagnosed the issue as being a bad strut. I was a little irritated that they missed it, seeing that the service department had already checked the car out before they placed it for sale, but I was glad they found the issue. I was told by the service advisor that the used car dept would be paying for it and that I would have to bring the car back in the next day. I brought the car back in on Wednesday for repair. I was called a few hours later, to be told the used car dept from Bradshaw authorized an after market strut from Advanced Auto Parts to be put on my car. I was told that it was still clicking, so that they were just going to go ahead and authorize a factory original strut, but that I would have to bring my car back for a third time. Who in their right mind puts an aftermarket part on a customers car, and doesn't even tell them. I was also told it was the used car dept authorization, however it was actually the service departments authorization. I also wasn't offered transportation until I actually brought it up. They didn't have any loaners available all three days, and I was just told "sorry for the inconvenience". The used car manager, Mark did step up and offer a solution, but it was just easier to just take my car and bring it back for a third time. I was told my car was aligned and tires balanced before it was put on the lot for sale, but it still pulls to the left and the steering wheel vibrates at highway speeds. I say all of this to say, I will not be back and will take my business somewhere else. This is supposed to be a "luxury" service dealership, but I've had better technicians and work done at Pep Boys. I am being generous with two stars because of my service advisor. He did a great job and everything that happened was outside of his control.

Consistently courteous, efficient and professional. Really appreciate that loaner vehicles are not wrapped with tacky advertising graphics for Bradshaw Acura. Who wants to drive a rolling commercial? To me, that's disrespecting the customer. Colton took the liberty of pre-scheculing my appointment so they could order the part immediately. That made my wait for the part much shorter, and gave me flexibility in scheduling when the work could get done. I went to buy a Lexus rx 350 and just got off the phone with them and they said come on I could buy it today and as soon as I got there another lady was buying it. Needless to say I am livid. This is the worse thing anyone could ever do. I will definitely do business elsewhere. Breakaway Honda was recommended by my dad. He had purchased 3 vans from Breakaway and has been happy with their service. We already owned a 2001 Honda and were considering a new model. We originally went to look at a used Toyota Camry and I sent an email to inquire about the car that was on their website. I received a reply back from David Dobson and the next morning we went to look at the car. When we arrived, we found out the car was sold the night before. As we were not settled on a Toyota, David started looking for Accords that fit our budget. He did not pressure us or try to talk us into something that we did not want. He was very professional and helpful and helped us find a car that was exactly what we were looking for. I will definitely go back to Breakaway Honda and recommend them to my friends. We are enjoying our new used car very much and are very pleased. Also Chris Hagelios was helpful with the financing part. As I have a business degree, Chris explained the finance process and the vehicle warranty better than I've ever heard it presented before. He was very helpful, patient and did not rush us. This is the first review I've ever wrote but felt it was warranted considering the excellent experience I had. This was the 3rd new Acura I've purchased from Bradshaw and the process was seamless. Once again, what a great automobile I have purchased. This new MDX is even superior to my last one. I cannot begin to list all of the things that I love about this car, but the highlights include a 9 speed transmission that up shifts so smoothly that you must watch the tach to see when it shifts, a lane keeping system that is so strong that it forces the steering back into your proper lane harder than your force of trying steer and the softest heated/cooled perforated leather seats you could want. This car is very powerful and rides so smoothly. But the great experience of the purchase is a real joy; JJ just happened to a have a new MDX just exactly like he knew I would want. The process of purchasing is so enjoyable - JJ and Ken are old friends who always treat me like I am special.

Car Purchase from Ken Hucker Our experience with Bradshaw Acura and especially Ken Hucker was all positive. We are pretty deliberate about car buying and it usually takes about six months. We visited the dealership last December and returned in April. Ken not only remembered us, but remembered our interests and the things that were important to us. He was professional in his approach and friendly throughout the process. I never felt pressured to buy and not even to add features when we were ready to buy. In fact, Ken was good at presenting a balanced view of the various model levels we considered and even pointed out ways less expensive models would meet our objectives.He never lost patience with our test driving several models, even some used ones, and spent significant time educating us about them all. We are an Acura family, but Ken's expertise in guiding us through the research and purchase of this vehicle impressed us a great deal. In addition to the positive purchase experience, Ken followed up with us after the purchase and helped me solve a problem with my phone that was creating interface difficulties with the car. The approach was a welcome change from some of the other Acura dealers we spoke to within the driving area. 2nd MDX Purchase from this dealer. Very low pressure, but not as standoffish as some dealers. I know it's hard to find that balance and so many dealers can't get it right. They will either be on you as you get out of your car on the lot or you can look around for 20 minutes and no one will acknowledge you. JJ and Ken were very helpful with the process. Allowed multiple test drives, stayed in touch through the decision making process, but did not pressure me to commit at all. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering an Acura. The service department has always been thorough and both Kent Crain and Doug Holiday have been excellent to work with also. Steve (the Service Director) took care of the only issue I have ever really has with the service dept. due to some miscommunication. Some people might ask why I would give 5 stars if I had a problem with service, and the reason for that is simple: People will make mistakes. We all do. It's about how they RESPOND to those mistakes that make the difference. Steve handled it fairly and quickly and that's worthy of an excellent rating. All in all, I have been really pleased with the dealership both from the sales end and the service dept.

When shopping premium brands like Acura you expect to be treated well, and everyone we encountered at Bradshaw Acura did their best to make us feel appreciated. On our first visit Steve Steele took us on a test drive of a new RDX and spent considerable time going over the operation of the sophisticated electronics package to make sure we understood its capabilities. We then visited other dealers to test different vehicles. Two weeks later, we decided that the RDX was our top choice for a new car, and we returned (without an appointment) to find that Steve was out with the flu. Mike stepped in to make sure we could take another test drive to confirm our decision, and had our trade-in appraised while we were out on our drive. When we returned we met with JJ to discuss price, and found that to be a satisfying, no-haggle process with none of the usual exits to "see if the manager can accept your offer" nonsense. We quickly went through the paper signing, and Evan made sure we had all of our questions answered before we drove off. We have bought a lot of cars in 45+ years of driving, and this latest purchase was definitely the most pleasurable. The entire staff went out of their way to make sure we were treated with respect and did their utmost to make the purchase a pleasant process.

Worst Experience Ever: Went to the dealership twice today. Loved the car, salesmen were terrible. Experience went from bad to worse. First salesman asked questions on the title on my car implying there could be issues. My car is paid for never been in an accident. Wanted to know what my husband drives. A BMW, seemed to take offense to that. Test drove a black car, really looking for a white. When we told him this took us inside to look at a lesser expensive without the features I wanted. Asked about incentives, lied said come inside let's talk about it. They don't exist. I would have liked him to be upfront. Went back after dinner at 6:30 pm to see if they really had the blue loaded model the website said they had. As soon as walking in the door we asked for the salesman we had dealt with earlier after we had already seen him walking around outside. We were rudely greeted by a different salesman that said he could probably answer our question and did we know what time they close. Please do you want to sell a car...I think not. The rudest people ever and I will not be back! I will be going to North Carolina or Columbia to buy my vehicle and I certainly won't have it serviced here. I would have given no stars, not an option. I had to give it one to post this.

They had a good car for a good price. Only three stars, because the buying experience wasn't great. The salesman didn't want to let me drive the car on the highway. He didn't put up a fight or anything, just said he didn't like to go on the highway. He also gave me a story about how he hadn't been able to sell much this month. True or not, it felt like he was trying to manipulate me. I didn't haggle on the price at all (the car was a fair price), but did want a specific financing package. Had to do the stereotypical used car buying dance to get it, but they did get it for me.

We came into Bradshaw Acura specifically to look at 2 Jeep Wranglers, both the Unlimited 4-door models. We were immediately greeted by Aubrey Minns. Notice I said greeted, not swarmed on or cornered. Aubrey was very friendly and accommodating. At one point, my wife and I actually had to leave for an appointment that we needed to keep and there was NO PRESSURE to commit to the sale right then. Within an hour of leaving we were back on the lot, picked the Jeep we liked and started talking numbers. These guys were great and the Finance Manager was no exception. It was a great experience and a great transaction. We would definitely go back.

Horrible experience at the service department. I brought my brand new RDX in for an issue with the Key fob. Without my permission, they sent the car to be washed (it did not need to be washed I had hand-washed it and applied three coats of wax 4 days prior). When I get the car back and there are water spots all over it but, more importantly they have allowed someone to put a greasy substance allover the tires and which has then been splattered on the car all around the wheels. The wheel wells, the mud guards, and the running boards now have greasy spots all over them. My new car now looks like a used car. All of this just because of an issue with a key fob.

I bought my 2003 Acura TL over the phone and picked it up a couple days later, it was that easy. I knew exactly the vehicle I wanted and I just called and asked for the sales dept. I spoke to Wayne Butler and explained what I wanted and I needed their best price as I had already gotten their competitor's best price. They beat their competitor by $500.00, over the phone. No games, no tricks, no hassels, just professionalism from Mr Butler. I didn't visit the dealership until I picked up my new Acura and it was exactly as described. After the paperwork was finished in about 30 minutes, I was on my way home. I recommend Mr Butler to everyone. I rated the quality as only 'good' and that is the vehicle, not the dealer. We have had the leather driver's seat re-covered 3 times and it still has rips and tears all over it. Bradshaw actually paid for it the first time since that is considered wear and tear and not covered under warranty but the new leather did not last long. Also the brake rotors are poor.

We were looking for a pre-owned Acura certified "blue" relatively new TL with low miles. We found 4 in a 500 mile radius. My husband and I live in North Carolina. The closest one we could find that we were interested in was in Greenville, SC. My husband called the dealership, talked with the salesperson and basically made the sale over the phone. We drove down one evening after work and in about an hour drove off the lot with a beautiful 2014 TL. I am all for buying local but, when you can have a car buying experience like this one, you just have to do what you have to do. There was no haggling, no running back and forth to the sales manager or credit manager, no pressure to buy all of the extras, no getting upset and having to leave the dealership and then return a few days later!!! The price we were quoted over the phone was the price that was on the paperwork when we arrived. Our experience was excellent to say the least. Yes, we drove 2 1/2 hours one way to buy a car but, it was worth it not to have to deal with the hassle that we have with the car dealerships here in North Carolina. I would do it again. I would certainly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle.

My Recent Purchase with Bradshaw Acura I recently purchased a 2015 Acura RDX with Bradshaw Acura, and I could not be more pleased with my purchase or with my car-buying experience at Bradshaw. I actually test drove the RDX last summer because I thought that my son was taking my Honda Pilot to college last fall, but immediately after I initiated the car-buying process, my son attended orientation at Clemson and decided that he did not want to take a car. Evan Lindsay was the salesman who worked with us last summer, and he waited patiently over the course of last year as the timing for this purchase changed. When my husband contacted Evan a few weeks ago by email, we were amazed that Evan remembered everything that we had discussed last summer. My husband included the specific features that we were interested in for the RDX in that email, and Evan responded immediately to our inquiry to let us know that Bradshaw had the RDX that we described in stock. The sales manager and Evan made the car-buying process very easy, which I greatly appreciated because I completed that part on my own, as my husband was out-of-town. The day that I picked up the car, Evan took the time to explain all of the features and controls, and he even synced my iPhone and programmed my favorite radio channels. He gave me a great price on my new car and trade in and made it well worth my drive from Charlotte to Greenville to pick up my new Acura. I wish someone else would open up a Acura dealer in the area. Every time I bring my vehicle in there’s an issue with them. Customer service is bottom of the dirtiest pond. I had an appointment today to drop my car off and to get a loaner I called ahead to make sure there were no issues because of the weather today and I was told no to come on by my service advisor and I drove 26 miles only to get there to be told they can’t give out loaners in the snow by my service advisor (would be different if I had conflicting information from two different individuals) but no the same person. Now why wasn’t I told this when I called? What’s the purpose of them asking for insurance coverage? It never fails with them. This dealer sucks Cory and Colton are absolutely the worst. And to have to bring my car back for something I’ve already paid them to check is even worse! Acura needs to take away their license to deal their vehicles. I would just take my car to the Honda dealership in Anderson they’re wayyyyyy more professional and customer service based.

We have been extremely happy with the quality of the vehicles, but there are plenty of Acura dealerships around so we certainly didn't have to buy from Bradshaw Acura when we decided to purchase our first MDX. We could have easily gone elsewhere when we purchased our second and third. However, when the salesperson, Shannon, and the sales manager, JJ, let you know how much they appreciate you doing business with them, and the service department has a desire to make every service experience a great one, and the overall customer care is terrific, why would we go anywhere else? I just purchased a used MDX and the sales staff mainly Troy were very good to work with. I was working with another dealer and they did not respond to my emails quickly. When I emailed Troy with a question about the MDX he had an answer within a minute or 2. I had to take it in for transmission problem and they took care of it. The sales and service departments at Bradshaw Acura are top notch. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a car. Overall, the service advisor was very helpful and courteous. Two minor issues: a warranty issue required a replacement part that I was told would take about a week to get. Waited nearly a month with no call back. When I called, no one knew what had happened to the part order, so they had to reorder. Part came in several days and was installed. Secondly, I was offered a loaner car during the repair period however,when I arrived, they had to arrange for a rental car. I did not expect to have to sign a rental agreement along with credit card swipe, insurance waiver, and commitment to refill the gas tank (not that the expense was of concern). It was much more of hassle than I expected.

I was absolutely thrilled with my experience at Bradshaw Acura, for a lot of reasons, but primarily for two that really stood out: 1) a complete and total lack of pressure to purchase anything, including upgrades; and 2) they made the process completely effortless. When I was working with Karla Chickering, I honestly felt like she was there to (very professionally) inform me about the 2016 MDX and answer every question I had, but not to give me a "sales pitch" per se in any way, shape or form. When I made the decision to buy the vehicle, I was informed of certain option but literally zero pressure was applied to me to upgrade or enter into costly service plans. Everything was very relaxed and professional. The paperwork process was quick, easy, the description of documents to be signed was quick, concise and again..no pressure. I would 100% use Bradshaw again and I am thrilled with my Acura.

My husband and I had the best experience with the used car sale's group. George Reemers was our sale's associate. He did a great job showing us what was available that met our specifications. He wasn't one of those high pressure salespeople trying to sell us something we didn't want. We asked for him to give us time to look at a few other vehicles we were interested in and maybe we'd be back to see him. He was a gentleman and didn't try to keep us on the lot. We went to all of the other used car lots on the motor mile and were very discouraged. All of them except for the Big "O" wouldn't give us the time of day. One place the sales associate saw us, didn't acknowledge us, and turned back around and kept talking to his buddy. One star too m any. Purchased a wonderful 2020 RDX base model on Monday evening. I also was interested in the Tech Package, but went with the base in the end. On Tuesday morning I contacted Steve and JJ with questions regarding if it were a possibility to return my base model for the Tech Package. Keep in mind this was less than 18 hours after purchase. I really didn't care for the Rims on the base and along with the extra safety features, I realized the Tech Package was better for me. After repeated calls, I never received a call back. On Tuesday, I called JJ And Steve again. Steve finally got in touch with me stating they do not under any circumstance make changes after a contract is signed. I wanted to hear from the Store Manager JJ. He too told me the same thing. I would love to know if they do allow returns/changes from some individuals, but not all. I don't understand why they wouldn't want more money for a sale. The only miles that were added to the new car was driving home, less than a couple test drives at the time of first call. I understand it is an inconvenience to re do paper work, but isn't a happy customer the most important thing that Mr. Bradshaw would want in the end. It is a known fact that a negative experience will travel twice as far as a positive one. It is a crazy that I am trying to force a business to take more money from me. Step up Bradshaw Acura.

I bought a used Lexus and am very happy with the car. The only issue was it had broken driver's side mirror switch, meaning you have to put your arm out the window to adjust the mirror manually. It was promised to be fixed with in a week of buying the car, and after several attempts over a couple of weeks to set a time and date to bring the car back to have this fixed by a service tech who does the work, I finally gave up. I left many messages with the salesman who made the promise and sold us the car. So, service AFTER the sale sucked. The cars they sell are nice, but if you want repeat customers, it's the little things that count.
