I have been looking for a truck for a long time but I dreaded the car buying experience. I went to balise Toyota in Warwick met Bob Cipriano. He walked me through the whole process. Great guy. Then I talked to the sales manager Stalin that made me feel comfortable with my purchase. I also had an interaction with the general manager I forget his name but also a great guy. Made me wonder why I waited so long to get this done. Overall it was a great experience with their wonderful staff and I will absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to make a purchase

A Thought

This is our second car from Balise. This dealership is by far the best I have been to in a long time. I’ve had half a dozen cars from dealerships. We have worked with multiple people and haven’t had a bad vibe at all. Savanh, mr.Alvizures and mr.Natalie helped us save thousands. I have read some bad reviews, but personally I am used to buying cars and I’m on our 6th lease. You need to understand the game before you play it! Side note Gary is awesome!!! Bottom line is have a plan before you come, triple check your purchase before you buy and watch videos on u tube. I have no ties to anyone at this dealership and I would recommend anyone that has done their homework to come and make a deal. FYI I have never put any money down and I have always had my monthly payments at or a lil above what I plan on them being.

Great quality cars, and a great location, facility is immaculate. Unfortunately their customer service is terrible. The salesman was pretty good and very pleasant, however the financing guy was very rude. We were there to buy two cars and had already secured financing through a third party before coming to the dealership. We negotiated the first deal for a pre-owned vehicle, and were pretty happy with it. We were about to start negotiating for the second brand new vehicle, when the financing guy insisted that we finish the paperwork for the first car, to which we agreed. Upon finding out that we had secured financing through a third party, the financing guy lost it and almost blew a head gasket. He was so angry he even got up and walked away, We were pretty close to walking away because he was extremely rude and angry, but we realize it was a pretty good deal, so we stayed and decided to go through with it. We were extremely disappointed and in the end we decided to walk away from the second deal due to his extremely poor customer service, even though we had negotiated a really good price on the second car, we just couldn't go through with it due to his childish behavior. We are really happy with the vehicle we purchased, but due to their customer service we will not be buying from them in the future.

We got a bill after we leased our car and the dealership said they will take care of it and we must have received it on accident. One month later of getting the run around and the bill's about to go to collections. Now the dealership says it's our fault even though they promised we wouldnt pay anything when we signed the lease. They are definitely taking advantage of people so take your business elsewhere.

Myself and my girlfriend visited Balise Toyota a few weeks back as her current lease is coming up in the next few months. We test drove a few cars and sat down to go over pricing. After a few hours of going back and forth I decided to walk away as they were not able to get the price close to where we wanted it. Since this visit, we have gotten bombarded by calls from the dealership asking to come back in. This morning, she received a voicemail from the sales rep we talked to stating that they were going to be able to get down to the price we were looking for because they were having a big sale for Memorial Day. We decided to stop in. It turns out the voice mail was just a ploy to get us back in the building. We were put through the same nonsense of going back and forth on pricing for them to just tell us exactly what they told us last time. Wasted our time and blew up her phone for no reason.

I do NOT recommend this dealership. If you cannot handle business during a Holiday week (which was the excuse) then you don't have good organizational skills. The Holiday week has nothing to do with employees ability to get back to you. Each time I called with simple questions I was told I would be called back only to have to call back myself, again, after giving them anywhere between 3-5 hours in between each inquiry. Our sales person was gone for the weekend (which we were informed of) but the lack of anyone covering for said salesperson was awful. There is an extreme lack of teamwork at this dealership and it equates to the customer suffering. All they like to do is send you to people's voice mail, and if you dial 0 you end up in their national Q. I ended up in MA, CT, & FL after making initial contact in Warwick. We paid for our car in full. There should have been zero issues. They did not register it on Wed like first thought, no big deal. Then the 4th of July was Thurs, I called Friday morning to JUST get a status update so we were not waiting around all day. It took 5 hours and 4 phone calls later. Did not get the car until after 5 pm - so 1 of OUR whole vacation days was down off down the drain because a lack of information only. Then It took another 45 min for someone to bring the plates to us - when in fact each time you walk in there there's at least 5 people standing around. What? Because your not getting the commission you cannot help a fellow sales person out? No, that's ok, I'll stand here while someone is selling fresh fish out front out of the back of their Tacoma stinking up the entrance occupying staff who could've potentially moved our (already wasted) day along. I could definitely say a few other things regarding my disappointment with this place but why bother... but 1 other tidbit, the car (2018) came with only 1 key and we were told we would have to pay for a new one. It was a previous lease car. It use to have 2 keys. Why should I pay for another one? I'm sure the previous leasee was charged and if not they should be. Either way it shouldn't be our problem, my expectations were not met after having numerous, easy, stress free transactions at other dealership. This time around tho we wanted a Toyota and Belise was recommended to us, but never again. This place is horrible.

What can I say, it's a car dealership. That being said, this is the first time I really "stood up" for myself and what I wanted, and Balise gave it to me. I looked at my dream car online and entered my name and email. Within 10 minutes I was on the phone with Shannon asking me to come and look at it. After work I came into the dealership and met Jim. What I liked about Jim was that even though I told him I had driven the same model car at another dealership, he recommended that I drive this one to make sure and so he could go over the safety features with me. He actually had me TRY all of the features so that I could understand them and I'm so glad he did because it would have been tough to figure out on my own. Now that I'm extra comfortable in the car, I'm sure that I want to lease it. The hard part was negotiating. Due to some personal issues I did not have any money to put down and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to afford the vehicle. Thanks to having good credit and Julio working some serious magic, they were able to offer me an affordable monthly payment that I was happy to make. I walked in with no intentions of making a commitment, but they made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I highly recommend Toyota in general, but especially this dealership and the fine people that work here. Jim and Julio made me feel like they really cared about my situation and that they would do anything to get me in that car.

BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP! I brought my vehicle in for a simple oil change. It's 3 years old and the paint has been maintained with high-end Wolfgang/ Pinnacle polish, wax and sealant (the pearl paint is what sold us in the first place). Last week, I bring the vehicle in for an oil change, cleaned it prior to bringing it in, and receive it back with a massive stress crack on the hood from the tech trying to close it from the side (fits a palm on the corner, while the metal used the support brace underneath as a pivot point. Metal bent, pulled the paint = stress crack). Mind you, the hood hasn't been opened since the LAST time it was there for service. I brought it to the "acting" Service Manager's attention, and he flat out said they weren't responsible after amusing me with a walk outside and barely looked at it or cared what I had to say. From there, I wrote a thorough email to GM Mike O'Connell with my complaint, and a week later, I still had to call the other "acting" Service Manager to see why I never even received a response from Mike in the first place. Of course, he sided with them and said it wasn't their fault and apparently their shop foreman was the one who performed this insanely difficult procedure of an oil change (apparently he can't make mistakes or cut corners, since he's the god of the shop). Why are there no cameras in the garage bays? I know for a fact they caused this damage because a.) I cleaned and inspected the car 10 minutes before service (like I always do) and b.) the damage could ONLY be done by opening the hood and forcing it closed from the side. You may have saved yourself the $600 from fixing this, but you lost a customer for good; apparently being someone who puts 30k miles a year on a car and trades them in every 3 years means nothing to them. Second car purchased from Balise Toyota, third WOULD have been in the spring. I'm not talking base model either - Rav4 Limited Hybrid; I mean, it's no Ferrari but it's still the cream of the crop in the Rav4 world. I wonder how much Jeb Balise actually knows about what goes on in his dealerships; Apparently customer satisfaction is clearly not a priority with their business model, as they would rather make a quick sale versus gaining a lifetime customer.

I had been cruising car lots with my son and daughter in law and stopped in at Balise. Gary Audette greeted us with a smile and a good relationship had started. My son test drove a couple of cars before falling in love with the first car he test drove. Bought a Tacoma from here. Staff was friendly, but the process was frustrating. I felt pressured to finance the truck, even though I stated multiple times that I wanted to just pay cash. There was also some cosmetic damage on the rear bumper of this supposedly new truck that I didn't notice until after I'd driven home with it. Staff clearly tried to hide this damage (e.g. they had the tailgate down when I first looked at it to conceal the bumper and had it backed completely against the wall of the building when I went to pick it up.) The only reason this is not a one-star review is because I did get a good deal on the truck and they did end up fixing the damage for free.

Where do I start. Lets start with, I waited 3 months for rails to be ordered for my 2013 Highlander. Finally got a text from Keith, to say hey it’s in that he can schedule and appointment for us. I go to drop off the vehicle before leaving asked the advisor from service, Patty, what rails were being install, if she had a picture. She said come inside i’ll show you. Shows me the rails that i’ve been anticipating, for me to come back with rails that i could had order myself from Dicks sporting goods!! the gentleman at serviced asked if i was picking up a vehicle, i said yes but you need to get me Patty because this is not what she showed me. Patty came down and apologized that she assumed that they order factory part, when they actually ordered aftermarket. Lovely right?Great communication! Couldn’t do anything for us, offer us to keep roof rack that i totally didn’t want! On top of that for me to drive my vehicle home, to notice they forgot to put a molding back on my roof. For me to call back to see if they can find the piece or replace it for me they gave me the run around that nobody was available to check and that all the managers or supervisor were busy with other guests. When also i’ve been a guest that waited patiently all day with them going back and forth since 11am to 6pm. Wasted a whole day for nothing. They preach come back that they always can help you. I lived in California. When we went to a local Toyota dealer to check out Rav4. The sales guy told us to wait for him in the parking lot. It was a sunny and hot afternoon. We were standing under the sun for over 30 minutes and no one show up. At the end, we just leave by ourselves. This time when we are at Balise, we met the sales guy Jim. He is nice, very patient, and knowledgeable person. We are happy to work with him on our new Rav4.

I went to Balise Toyota to have my car inspected because my sticker runs out this month. I had received from Toyota a code # on a card for a 20%discount on other services. I did not bring the card with me because I was only having it inspected. I had called previously to find out when I should have it winterized as I drive it very little now that I am an elderly female and keep it in the garage. She told me in November and I needed synthetic oil which I did a year ago. This visit I was told I could winterize it now and because I am not driving back and forth to Florida every year I didn't need the synthetic that just regular would do. I waited 3 hours, my and paid $351.46 and got no discount because they needed the discount card for the paperwork. I am pleased to get it entirely serviced all at once but am disappointed I did not get the discount.

Went to parts department. Associate was courteous. Helped me order a new key for my parents Camrey. Blank was $40 but that's about average if not a bit less than chipped keys. I would return for parts in the future. My only issue is that there was no sign for the parts department. It's in with service but some dealers have a separate parts department so they should at least have signs for the parts department.

The salesman was great however we were told we could have a carfax, later on it “wasn’t available”, and AFTER purchasing our car we’ve come across issues that were NEVER disclosed to us upon making the sale. Bringing the issue to their attention, the resolution was for a “refurbished” replacement that we would have to pay for. The latest issue is with our warranty coverage- we were SPECIFICALLY told tires were covered and now “we didn’t pay for that” and that I should Have listened very carefully to what I was Being told during the sale.. we’ve only had the vehicle 4 weeks, nothing but issues with this dealership, customer service and absolutely not willing to own or correct any misrepresentation. Should have listened and avoided this dealer.

Later I get pulled over for not having a inspection sticker and get a ticket. Also when you call them they never return your calls if its an issue with them. We are extremely disappointed in the internet pricing process at Balise Toyota. In the past, we have used internet pricing from another dealership with great success. We received a straight forward quote, went to the dealership, who was ready for our arrival, test drove the car, signed the forms and left within 1-1.5 hrs. We returned in a couple of days to pick up the car. Our experience today was the complete opposite. First, it required a few attempts with Danielle for me to receive a price for the vehicle I specified I was interested in, although I did receive quotes for cars I was not interested in. Second when I arrived at 4:10pm to test drive the car, no one seemed to know of my 4pm appt with Shannon, although I received an email confirmation which instructed me to ask for a Shannon. The car was not ready for us and we sat around 20-30 mins. waiting for the car to be brought around. Third, after the test drive we showed Shane Dimon the email (which he photographed) with the the internet price and we were told “that isn’t the price.” He said the actual price would be about $2K more. At that point we were feeling deceived and asked for our key back so we could leave (which he had as we asked for a trade-in estimate, although we already had a $9K quote from CarMax) He convinced us to stay so he could check again on pricing and the trade value. He came back with an unacceptable price. We asked for our key which he said he would get but instead sent another salesperson. We became angry and demanded our key from that salesman. The above scenario describes deceptive bait and switch tactics and high pressure sales which are exactly what give car salesmen a bad reputation. I will never return nor recommend your dealership.

I am not sure if we were just victims of experience, but our time there was awful. Went and test drove a car Thursday, called on Friday, it had sold, ok they told me on Friday they would set me up with a similar car, more features, so I set up an appt for Saturday morning to finalize. My wife gets there, and after about a half hour of negotiation, they tell her, that car has already sold also. We did buy a new vehicle, but the whole thing seemed so shady, it was crazy.

I’ll try to make this short. Took my daughter who’s in college for a car. Leasing wasn’t an option once we found out all the hidden fees. After test driving 3 cars and going back and forth for an excruciating 3 hours we kept saying we’d like to think about it since they were our first dealership. They started offering free sun roof and heated seats on a 2018 Camry. We still wanted to think about it. More time passes and they bring out a 2015 Avalon which had lower payments. After she test drove it we were pretty much drained and it was getting late. We signed all the paperwork and took the car home. Next day we noticed 3 of the rims had damage. I left a message for the sales rep but found out he had the day off. Following day we go back and our rep Ethan is busy with another customer so “Sean” approaches us and asks what the problem is (he obviously already Knew because I left a voicemail the day before). We take him outside and we show him the rims and also some paint chipping in the hood which will eventually get worse.” He says, “I think we can get an appointment for you with our tire doctor, but you will have to pay for that.” I’m like, “excuse me? We’ve only had the car two days, drove it home in the dark to not be able to see this problem!” He continued to say there’s nothing that can be done!! This is atrocious customer service and if you can find another Toyota dealership before this one, I strongly recommend you do so. I’d elaborate further on their sales tactics towards women but again, I wanted to keep it short. Horrible.

My cousin recently purchased a used auto from Balise, Toyota, Post Road & was very pleased & impressed. The warrantee was at an additional cost, I explained my situation & was concerned about car repairs, not only did he give me a 3 year warranty, he "also" gave me the next 3 years of free oil changes, tire rotation, top fluids & oil filter changes...NO ADDITIONAL COST!!!! Being a single woman, the peace of mind & security they gave me for the next 3 years is "priceless"! Those gentlemen took care of me like family! Outstanding!! I've already recommended Mohammed A. & Jide at Balise Toyota, Post Road to all my family & friends!! Over the last 2 weeks, NO ONE offered me anything close! Loyal new customer. Honestly one of the worse experiences I’ve ever had. I went into Balise Toyota and explained to them that I wanted a car with 3 main features: automatic windows, keyless entry, and Bluetooth. The car I originally went to go see was a 2016 Toyota Camry, fully loaded for $17,000. I loved the vehicle but didn’t want to jump into the first thing I saw. I then came back a couple days after and had asked my sales guy to show me a few more car options. He then shows me and takes me on a test drive on another 2016 Toyota Camry, but this was an LE and it was not fully loaded. Upon returning to the dealership I looked at 2 other 2016 Toyota Camrys. I asked my sales man what the difference was between all the vehicles. “They are all exactly the same, just different colors and different mileages,” he informs me. I tell him to run me a report for 4 of the 2016 used Camry’s so that I could see what my monthly payments would be. He only comes back with one report. Long story short, I end up choosing that car after her sold me on it. It was not any of the two vehicles I test drove but it was “exactly the same” as the 2016 Camry that wasn’t fully loaded but just a different color. This vehicle was also $17000 but only had 18k miles so I took it. Upon finishing all my paperwork and signing my life away, when the car was pulled up and ready for me to leave with, the sales man hands me a VALET KEY. If you don’t know, you can’t do anything with valet keys besides turn your car on and unlock your main door. There was no master key so therefore, no keyless entry, and I can’t use the to lock and unlock my glove compartment, NOR could I even get a remote starter installed if i wanted to with this key. After speaking with the used car manager, Bill he basically laughed in my face and told me “whatever we was given from the previous customer is what we give to you.” At this point I was boiling. My salesman continued to swear up and down that he showed me the key before I purchased the vehicle, but he did not because why would I purchase a $17000 vehicle with no keyless entry. The car was “exactly the same” as the other ones I test drove, the only difference is that they didn’t have a master key to this vehicle. I then spork to the customer relations manager, kathy who told me should would investigate the situation and get back to me in 24hrs. 24hrs pass by, I go back to the dealership and there’s no word from Kathy. I speak with Michael O’Connell the General Manager and he basically is speaking to me as if he doesn’t really care about the situation. Instead of remaking me a new master key (which they would have to reprogram my car to a new key) they’re telling me I can but it at cost from them. Which is $120. So if it’s $120, I don’t understand why they can’t simply just remake a key. How is it okay to sell a vehicle with no master key? $120 is little to nothing for them to fix this situation in which their sales guy messed up. I personally don’t feel like I need to pay for their mess up. What really probably happened was when the sales guy went to go get my car cleaned while I was signing paperwork, he was either rushing or saw that their was no master key (so no keyless entry) and rather than stopping them sale and offering me a different car, he let me sign the paperwork anyway. The amount of back and forth I had to do, and the situation is still NOT SOLVED. I’ve never experienced anything like this. If you’re going to give me one key, atleast give me one MASTER key not a VALET key. I’m highly unsatisfied. Apparently you should ask to PHYSICALLY SEE YOUE KEYLESS ENTRY before you sign your life away and buy a car from these people. Didn’t know it had to come to that. Don’t trust anything these sales people say, they just want to make a sale. Double check EVERY SINGLE THING, make sure they read EVERY LAST BIT of that contact to you. Take a whole day off and spend your day there. Better you do that, then walk away with something you don’t like.

LEASING CUSTOMERS BEWARE: I have never reviewed a car dealership before but I feel the need to write this for potential customers. I am currently leasing a Nissan and my lease is ending soon. I was thinking about switching to a RAV4 so I visited Balise, test drove the car, and decided to go with it. The "money guy" came over and negotiated different prices with me. He had two main options- one was to take care of my Nissan lease (returning it next door for me and paying the fees) resulting in a higher payment for me. The other was for him to have nothing to do with my lease ending. I chose to go with the slightly higher down payment because I did not want to deal with the lease ending experience (sometimes they charge you for small imperfections in the vehicle when you return it and do not buy another Nissan plus all of the fees associated). We agreed on the price and began the paperwork. I did everything- down payment, pulled my credit, they watched me cancel my car insurance on my current vehicle, and then went in to sign papers. Upon sitting down with the final person, I asked where the paperwork was showing that they were taking care of my lease. The man told me that they were not taking care of it and went to get the "money guy" for clarification. He came in and started backpedaling telling me my car was in good shape, I would never be charged for imperfections when returning it to Nissan. NOT THE POINT. He lost all credibility when we caught him in the lie. Thank goodness I asked questions. I almost walked out of there with 2 leases. SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SHADY. Don't bother thanking my husband for his military service. Next time just be a decent human being.
