Short answer: Worst dealer i have ever dealt with Long answer; i had got a used car off this dealer about 1 month ago now the first thing i dealt with was the detail work on my car the detail work was awful!! Looked like they took it to a car wash and yjat was it!!!! Ok so they said it was ready at 12 o clock and i got there to pick it up later cuz i was busy at that time got there and the car wasnt even ready they said they would have stains out of the roof of the car and there were not gone so i waited there over 2 hours for them to clean them stains out the car. 2nd 3 weeks go by and now i have a munfuction with my car go to get it worked on at the dealer try over and over to call and set up appt leave msgs and not one single call back to me than i finally get it in for a appt to get it looked at with no one knowing if they have a loaner for me so i drop it and get a ride now there telling me they couldnt do anything with the car and i have to take it to another dealer!!!!! So i have a new appt set up to go somewhere else what a useless place id never ever recommend anyone to buy a car here and after my little warranty is up there I will never go back horrible customer service

I wanted to share my experience with everyone about Performance Toyota while I don’t commonly write reviews in general but felt it may be required in case anyone was in the same position I was. I came to look at a couple used Tacomas they had on their lot that were priced very fair a bit below the market value. I met with Christian who was nothing but polite and informative about the history of the truck I was interested in and we went for a test drive. Im always cautious and apprehensive about any big financial commitment, and was even more on the fence about the fact that I had not sold my older truck yet considering the trade in value other local Toyota dealerships offered me (and it was laughably bad by even the most logical standards). To my surprise Christian and the sales manager offered to take my previous vehicle for nearly triple the price their competitors offered. For the staff at Performance to go that extra step for me was astonishing, and the final nail in the coffin that convinced me to purchase the vehicle. Now about the car, it’s truly one of the cleanest Tacoma’s I have ever seen, and drives like it’s new. The service that was done to this truck before they put it out on their lot was phenomenal. So if you ever feel like you’re on the fence about purchasing a car, check this place out, overall the experience was much more comfortable and welcoming than any of their competition.

Took my Tesla model 3 here to get inspected because Tesla does not inspect vehicles in pa. I was skeptical about taking it anywhere because of the proper lifting requirements for it and other special procedures that are to be taken. After talking with the staff they assured me that they do have experience with Tesla’s and their proper procedures. They ended up doing an excellent job. Giving them 4 stars because it took 2 hours to inspect.

Seriously the greatest customer service we've ever recieved. We showed up a few minutes before closing on a Friday. We didnt realize till we got there. We were really excited to purchase a car we had seen online. Christian was so kind he stayed 2 hours late to finish the sale for us so we didnt have to drive an hour back the next day to buy it! He made the process super easy for us and the whole staff was so patient with our 1 year old son who got a little antsy during the process. We were treated with so much respect and I felt like we were all friends by the time we left. We will always come back here to purchase any future cars we buy. I cant say enough how great our experience was. We got the best deal, with the least amount of hassle, and it felt like we were all on the same side working to make a deal. I feel so bad that I cant remember the name of the sweet woman working in the office who stayed late with us to do the paper work but she was a pleasure to work with as well. She explained everything very clearly and honestly and even provided paper and pen for our son to stay occupied while we signed. My parents were interested in a used vehicle on the lot. We had a nice test drive and then came back to find that there was a dent in the bumper and a cracked reflector which the salesman had no idea of what or when it had happened. Issue #1: Upon hearing that we were coming in again to negotiate a deal, they took the vehicle to their shop in the back to have it "prepared." Essentially, they had the bumper repainted black to hide all the white scratches. We brought this issue up to them to bring down the price of the vehicle and they said that it was no big deal if it was an "on the lot" accident. (i.e., not a real accident, bumpers these days aren't made like they use to be, we ain't budging on our price) Issue #2: Apparently they have a "best price" practice where you cannot negotiate the sticker price. They believe that buyers who browse the internet for the best prices are already doing "negotiations." They claim they have the best pricing on their used vehicles (not true). Not only is this practice NOT disclosed on their postings online, they wait until you are interested in buying the vehicle, drive all the way to the dealership and them BOOM: no price haggling here! (kept feeding us the line "this car is not right for you" essentially telling us to leave) I would never recommend this place to any friend or family for a used vehicle. We had a horrible experience with the used car manager who was the most rude individual we've ever met.

This dealer has a complete unwillingness to work with you on a price. I watched a car there for a couple of months and tried to work on a deal, everytime they scoffed at unwilling to budge confident that they would sell the car at their price. They never sold the car and I came back to them with an offer and they again refused to budge hardly at all on the price. Also be sure to request the car fax when you deal with this dealership. When I initially test drove a car there they informed me that the vehicle was just recently traded in by a family. When I finally obtained the car fax that turned out to be completely false. It was a car that had been on their lot for quite some time and was a former leased vehicle that they bought from an auction.

I was able to test drive the car for as long as I wanted and or have it checked out by an independent mechanic. I knew what they were asking for the car and told them how much I was willing to pay. No funny games, Sales Manager okayed my offer without BS. This was amazing as Performance had been asking almost $2000 dollars LESS than a dealership in Allentown was for the same year, model and mileage car. I didn't once hear the typical BS how they were losing money on the deal. Very professional and respectful in the sense they offered the car at a honest rather than an inflated price and still were willing to accept my offer. I don't know what more a customer can expect.
