Traveled an hour and a half to purchase my dream Volvo, the sales team was great to work with and I had a good experience at first. Fast forward a few weeks to my license getting suspended because the dealership failed to file my out of state paperwork. They were terrible about returning calls and continued blaming others for the mistake. After being told my plates (which were originally supposed to be transferred from my previous car) showed up at the dealership with my registration 5 whole days after they “over nighted them to my house” I was told they would drive them up to me and they confirmed my address. Most of the day goes by without any contact and when I called to check in (for the 5th time today) on when they would be arriving, I was told they were just placed in the fedex bin instead. I absolutely do not recommend doing an out of state deal here. I’ve never dealt with such an unorganized dealership in my life.

Found a great car on cargurus, The spoke with the sales manager on the phone, they sent pics and the carfax no problem. I drove 150 miles to test drive and make an offer. The feeling I was from out of town and they probably would never see me again was evident from the time we sat down in the dealership. They kept us there for 3 hours sent us to the mall while the did whatever they had to do, after we told them we couldn't pay cash. Then when we drove back a second time a week later the car was still not ready, they told us a part didn't get delivered. Still have not heard if that part came in, almost two months has gone bye. When I tried to register the car in New York, I couldn't because they didn't stamp the title. I had to overnight mail it to the dealership, who told me they would reimburse me for the postage and never did. The Internet Manager Dave Chappell, I would trust as far as I could pick him up and through him. Over all the car is pretty nice, and I really like it. They suck.

Couldn't believe that they wanted my owners card and insurance card just to cut a key (only travel about 8 miles because I had dealings with Ken Pollock and in there computer (was told that didn't matter)). So they lost that small sale and well maybe a new car sale maybe it's just my luck with Ken Pollock dealership.

Well I purchased a 2015 Subaru outback n was told it had no issues. Within 2 months took car in for service , didn't hear anything regarding my car. When I called service 2 weeks later I was told the car was sent to Minooka Subaru because the car had an engine oil leak. Asked dealership for extra warranty coverage which I thought they would take care of but they split the cost with me so It cost me an additional $650. They did however provide a loaner car for the six weeks that my car was out of commission. Also Minooka only guarantee s the work for 1 year. That's why I felt I needed extra coverage and hope that I have no further issues with this vehicle. Not sure what else I could do. Thanks!!

I am from New York and recently found it necessary to shop out of state for a used car that my wife and I desired. More specifically, a 2017 Nissan Armada. Considering this, I eventually found the car that I wanted at Ken Pollock Volvo in Pittston, Pennsylvania, where I had a fantastic experience. From the very start, each and every staff member provided all of the necessary information that I requested, were responsive to my email inqueries and quickly alerted me to the arrival of several vehicles that might have been of interest to me. Then, I took the 3 hour trip and visited the dealership, where I was fortunate enough to work "hand in hand" with a tremendous salesperson - Chet Miles, who was friendly, personable, easygoing, helpful, professional, knowledgeable and most importantly, straightforward. In addition, Jill - the Internet Coordinator, Ryan, Aaron and Paul Mazzetelli - the Business Manager, were marvelous and helped to insure that the process of buying a car with them was kept simple, honest and thorough. Overall, the Ken Pollock team "Hit A Home Run" with my wife and I and certainly made us glad that we made the trip to see them. In closing, this was one of the best car buying experiences that I have ever had and I highly recommend them to those of you who are reading this review, and looking for a first rate organization who knows how a customer should be treated!

My experience last week. I had a flat tire and another tire low on air. It was after 5pm and I had my vehicle towed (thanks to Grease Monkeys) to Ken Pollock Volvo. The service department was closed but Murad helped me out. I arrived and had a loaner car ready for me and I was assured everything was going to be fine. I would also like to thank Paul for the suggestion about the road hazard warranty when I bought the car. So I was on my way and the next day Angelo (from service) called. He explained that the warranty took care of everything and my vehicle was ready for pick up. I am extremely happy going with Ken Pollock Volvo and the whole crew that works there. This was my first experience at having my Volvo serviced and I felt very much at home because everyone was extremely friendly. I also had an issue with the brakes making a rattling noise and there was a knock when the car automatically shifted gears. Both issues were resolved easily. I arrived at 9:30 am (my appt was at 10) and I did not leave until 2:20 pm. Drew, who is very attentive and obliging, came to check on me several times to ask if there was anything I needed (at one point I did say "lunch") so I was a bit frustrated at having to sit there all day. It was my day off so I had other plans which did not come to pass. But I was made to feel important and not forgotten with Drew making the effort to come out and update me every now and then.

I bought an xc60 R Design in August. I was going to buy off a trade, but wasn't offered enough.. Long story short, I sold my car myself and made over a few extra thousand. I was hassled big time to come in as soon as possible because the "manager" was going to let the car go to auction or another dealer. Not happy about their "professional selling tactics". It's a great car, but the detailer there is awful, the car was filthy around certain areas, pollen stains that had to be buffed out on the paint,, and was missing a cover in the trunk. I'm happy with the car, not entirely with the experience.

Mike Minnick was the most knowledgeable, most trustworthy, and most diligent representative of any and all car dealership representatives that I have ever dealt with. He made himself available to my husband and I at all times and was very patient with us, throughout the process. I'm writing this review on behalf of my son and his wife. They went to Ken Pollock Volvo looking to purchase a new Volvo. They were going to trade their car on a new Volvo. Before they went, my son looked up what the value of their car would be as a trade, and as a retail sale. I know the car dealers like to get the trades at a good price, this way, they can make money on the sale of the new car, and by selling the trade in. The offer they gave him on his trade was considerably a lot lower than what the trade in value was listed on Kelly Blue Book. This is why I'm writing this review. My son proceeded to ask why such a low price on the trade. The salesman went on to explain to him, it needed an inspection, it was involved in a very minor accident, rear bumper replaced, and that the tires were bad and needed to be replaced. My son politely asked him how they could be so deceitful, telling him, they just put 4 brand new tires on the car three days before they went to Ken Pollack Volvo. My son and his wife just got up and left. Buyer beware, use your own judgement, our family will never shop at any of Ken Pollacks Dealerships.

took our XC90 in for 50000 mile service, had called to see I could get a loaner car a day early due to work, Drew had pulled some strings to make it happen, unfortunately i had already made other arrangement, but appreciate the time and effort into working on my request. Service was simple and easy drop off car, hand over keys, asked if known of any additional problems of which i didnt know any. Loaner car was ready to go, vehicle was done by 2 that day from 8am drop. Awesome service and very friendly, was also able to get my coffee at the dealership instead of make another stop. Excellent

I purchased a used Mercedes GL550 from the dealership and all the sales person and management could keep saying was how good of condition this one owner vehicle has been kept. Looks I agree, but during the test drive I noticed a little shaking in the wheels and noted ti the says person Kyle Prociak that whoever balanced the new tires needs to do a better job and he agreed. Outside of that the car drove nice. I drive the car home that day, and within 3 days time I have an antifreeze leak on the vehicle. Within 10 days, I loose the A/C system on days that are 90 degrees outside. Steve Steltz one of the service managers states his guy goes over these cars with a fine tooth comb and how are they to know that the A/C was going to fail. NO assistance at all, but it comes back to their comments of "How well is the car as a one owner been kept" After spending 2.5 hours at a Mercedes dealership, it was determined that someone overfilled the AC unit on the car and when the temps would go above 80 it would shut it down. So unknown if you they put anything in the AC during the time it was at their location, but during the test drive of the car I addressed with Kyle that there is a vibration and the new tires placed on the car are not balanced correctly. Kyle agreed and felt the vibration throughout the car. Mercedes dealership took each wheel off and balanced each tire since all where not correctly balanced, but what is most disturbing is that I have 2 bent wheels that should have been addressed by your dealership during the placement of the new tires on the car. The wheels should have been fixed before placing them back on the car for sale and should have not been stating how much this car is in great condition since it is a one owner car with bent rims. I now know what type of dealership Ken Pollock is within the Wilkes Barre area, not a trust worthy car dealership at all based on the representation of a car that was sold with known bent rims and an overcharged AC System.

Friendly staff, no high pressure tactics just a honest deal made as easy as possible. So easy we didn't leave in the car we drove there in. We are very happy with the purchase and over all experience. Next time we need another vehicle we know exactly where to go first.

Prices for services are high. Ever since they switched to Volvo from suzuki, suzuki customers get mediocre treatment. I purchased a car from this place and it came with a remote starter and they refuse to fix it because it's third party. I will only get work done that is covered by my service plan from now on

He was knowledgeable about the vehicle but never made us feel pressured at any time. We wanted a different color vehicle than the one that was available on the Volvo site and he even went out of his way to retrieve our desired car from another Ken Pollock dealership on his day off. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and the vehicle has been great so far.

I am from St. Louis and was traveling through Scranton Wiles Barre. My local dealership could not get me in before I headed out of town.so they looked up the closest dealership to where i was traveling. While in St Louis I called Ken Pollack Nissan to schedule an Appointment for a vibration in my truck upon my arrival. On Janary 26th 2015 I brought in my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder in for a vibration throughout the entire vehicle. My service advisor was Chris who is a very nice guy but not the mechanic, I cannot remember the mechanics name and it is not on the paperwork. My mechanic drove the truck upon my arrival and 15 minutes later Chris came into the waiting room and told me the vibration is in the transmission and that it is deemed normal. I then took a ride with the mechanic and he again told me it was in the transmission and that it is normal. Once he focused on the transmision he had no interest in discussing any other options. I have owned this truck for one year and put 36k miles on it in one year and i know this truck did not vibrate a month before i brought it in. I had just spent over $100.00 with 2 different shops having the tires balanced thinking it was in the tires. Upon my return to my local dealership (Suntrup Nissan St. Louis Mo.) I called and talked to the maintenance department and they told me that diagnosis did not seem right so get it scheduled and please bring my truck in. I went for a ride with Danial the mechanic and within 30 seconds he immediatly diagnosed the problem as a motor mount. They asked if i could leave the vehicle with them, I did and come to find out there were actually 2 bad motor mounts. The parts were ordered and now my truck mysteriously has no more vibration. I do not know if driving around on 2 bad motor mounts would lead to any additional problems but cant imagine any benefit could come from it. All of the staff at Ken Pollack were great to work with, however their diagnosis has a lot to be desired and quite frankly is very upsetting. I spent a lot of money on this Pathfinder and when a dealership tells you they can fix it and you trust them and they perform like this it really irritates you. Not to mention they sent me back out on the road in a defective vehicle. Either the mechanic does not know what he is doing, does not care about what he is doing or was put into a position with this company that he should not be in. Either way it could be extemely dangerous for the consumer. This should not be exceptable from a dealership who wants to gain respect. Right now unfortunatly Ken Pollack Nissan does not have mine. Whent to go and look at a jeep and they had it in the garage looking it over for a full inspection .Took a look at it liked it . The sales men and the rest of the compney were very nice and helpfull .They sad that they whill do a detal and full tank of gas and theen i can pick it up. Great car dealer to go and get a new or used vehicle.

For all the years that I've owned my Volvo, I've never had my vehicle returned to me dirtier than it was when I brought it in for repairs. At least that's how it's done in Palm Beach County. When I asked the service rep why the vehicle was so dirty I was just told, "oh I don't really know, some of the cars get dirty out here". At that point I expected the rep to rectify the lack of customer care and the opportunity for him to increase customer satisfaction and have that car washed prior to handing it back to me after paying hundreds of dollars for repairs. I was very disappointed and quite surprised! This is the very first time I've experienced service such as this at any Volvo dealership... The lack of attentiveness and disregard for a customer's property warrants a loss of 2 stars.
