Service advisors are not knowledgeable of issues when brought to attention. Do not keep contact or return phone calls when they say they will. When you finally get someone on the phone and they don’t have the answers to your questions they hang up on you. Will never bring my vehicle here again nor do business of any kind with them.

Listen to my tale because it's a doozy. I was due for an oil change so I just went to WalMart to get it done. After waiting for about 3 hours (they were short handed) I was told they couldn't get my oil plug off and to take it back to my dealership. Well, I didn't buy my Chevy Cruze at Smicklas but I bought it at another dealership so, naturally I went there. When I arrived and told them what was wrong they looked at me like I was dumb and said that this was a ****** dealership, not a Chevy one. I frowned and told them I knew that but I had bought the car here and was told to bring it to you. They again just kinda gave me a stank face and told me to take it next door. They didn't even try to look at it or anything. I was floored because in the past, their customer service was great but I guess not any more... So I took their advice and went next door. I was immediately greeted by Kevin. He was really nice and empathetic for the day I was having. He helped me re-register my car (It was in the old owners information) and set me up for a great deal on an oil change. So I went in to the waiting room but later was greeted with some good/bad news. Bad news was I had a bad oil leak. Good news is the car was still under warranty and was gonna be fixed. He said it would take a day or so to get it fixed and got me a loaner so I didn't have to inconvenience my dad to take me everywhere I need to go. (Granted the loaner was bigger than I was used to, it was still fun to drive lol) I will say, the old dealership I had bought my car from lost my business. I will never go to them for anything, ever. I will be doing my business with Smicklas Chevrolet from now on because of the amazing hospitality, service, and Kevin's kindness that made me start planning my next car purchase with them. Thank you guys!

The shopping experience was not bad, staff was nice, especially the financing dept. However, after I purchased a used vehicle I noticed one of the seats headrest was deployed. The staff did not mention that issue and when I brought it to their attention after I purchased the vehicle I was told they couldn't do anything about it. Therefore I would not reccomend this dealership.

I've been having a fluid leak since June 14,2019 after having my car worked on at Hibdons. Smicklas was able to find the leak when no one else could. They repaired the leak within a reasonable amount of time for the repair. The cost of the labor was a little higher than I thought it would be ,but fair compared to other repair facilities.

I took a month to write this review in order to think about the situation more prior to being extremely biased. However, I was quoted a price for what I thought was the full service by an associate, then was told it was over 250$ instead of the 75$. When directed to a manager for the confusion I was told immediately I was responsible for the charges no matter what, the manager showed 0 empathy or care, he kept avoiding questions and repeating that I had to pay for the service. Then on top of everything, after just paying the amount, I was offered 20% off additional services, why wasnt this something offered for the confusion? I will not be doing any business with this company going forward and wouldnt recomend anyone else. Edit: I still havent recieved a response

Called in to use the warranty that Chevy sells when purchasing a new car. Told them the bumper had a crack right on sensor. They set me up an appointment. Then without hooking up car they told me the bumper needs to be repaired first and they don’t do that. I received my car was ready about 30 minutes after I had already left. They get 2 stars because they were friendly. However, the scheduler should have known I needed a body appointment when I described what was wrong. Getting two kids up for an early appointment on the last day of my summer wasn’t ideal. Needless to say I found a place that can do everything without me having to go to all different places.

Usually my experience is wonderful. I think maybe today the service Department was backed up and short handed. I made an appointment yesterday for 8am this morning. I knew that my service time would be longer than normal due to the services I was having done but I didn't expect to be there over 4 hours. I had an oil change, transmission flush, filter change, and injectors cleaned. I showed up at 7:40, my truck was still waiting to be taken back at 8:20. They had to replace a trailer brake switch, which they had to go get so that took longer. About 3 hours after waiting I checked on my truck and the lady told me she would check on it, she believed it was close to finished. I was never updated, during the whole 4 hours. I went outside to walk around and saw it sitting in the parking lot, this was around 11am. It wasn't until 11:50 they pulled it around for me to check out. Like I said, usually I'm in and out in about an hour but today was definitely not a smooth process. Hopefully next time will be quicker.

I went there to get another car key remote. I asked how much and the services lady said it is $75. I said ok let's do this. Well when time to check out they said that will be $240.00 dollars. I said you have the wrong services order because I was told $75. They neglected to mention + labor + programming + tax and a couple other plus es. Not being very honest

I was treated with respect and things were done ahead of schedule and under expected budget. It can be rather difficult to find a good service center,but these folks hit the mark. Chayla( the agent) was wonderful she let us take our time to make our decision on getting the car she never pushed my Mom into buying. When we came back to retest drive the vehicle she was very patient with us as my Mom drove the car and then had me drive it to make sure it was right for her. The finance person (Tyler) was not very good he was not very prepared when he came and got us My mom had already had the check from the bank he tried to sell us more things that my mom didn't want .Chayla had my mom sign for the price she wanted but when we got to Tyler he some how charged my mom more for something she didn't want. My first time at Smicklas was to get repairs done at their collision center and things went off without a hitch. Quick, courteous and fast. My second was to look at a truck. After viewing one truck and listening to what I wanted the salesmen found my perfect vehicle for a price that was reasonable to us both. They were not pushy or aggressive they listened to what I said and never tried to sell me something I didn't want. I will be back to this dealership in the future!

Horrible experience. I found the exact used truck I've been looking for online at their dealership. I called the dealership and made an appointment to come look at the truck with the intentions of buying it the same day. 2 days later, I drove 100 miles just to find out that they sold the truck the day before and they didn't care to notify me. Turns out, they believe they have a better chance of selling you a different vehicle, or more specifically, a more expensive vehicle, if you are physically on site. While you tell them what kind of truck you're looking for, they will try to convince you to get into a truck that you don't want. They blame their call center for you not being notified, because the person you called isn't even on site, even though they pretend they are. While the dealership puts on the act of "innocent nice guy who wants to take care of you" the manager believes offering to give you gas is their generous way of reimbursement for the call center wasting your time. Once I left, I contacted the call center to talk to a manager, who turns out to be the managers at the dealership. Their response to my experience was "Well, we tried to give you gas" and then admits that nobody at the call center would have known that the dealership sold the truck because it takes 24 hours to update their inventory system. Also, that nobody at the dealership is responsible for notifying potential customers, who had an appointment, and who had a long commute, that their vehicle is no longer available. I will never use Smicklas Chevrolet for any services in the future, and I will actively discourage anyone else who may.

I paid up front for a new key fob for my car. I never received a text, email or phone call that it was in after I was told that the fob would be in in around two hours. When I called to see if the fob was there the parts guy said if you ordered it that long ago we probably sent it back. Because of my work schedule I wasn't able to get up to Smickles Chevrolet to pickup and have my fob programed until a week later. Then the technician used my air conditioning while he sat in my car and programmed my fob for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. I have been in the service/hospitality industry nearly all my life and have NEVER used someone else's A/C for my comfort. YOU JUST DON'T DO THAT!!! I personally will never use Smickles Chevrolet again.

I actually drove to the OKC area from almost 700 miles away due to multiple dealerships in the area having the vehicle and price I was looking for. I even bypassed the DFW Texas area because the OKC dealerships had better prices. I initially was looking to purchase from another area dealership but they had power issues so I called Smicklas and they had the vehicle, price and great personnel that I was looking for. Clinton was an absolute pleasure to work with. The dealership and I were in contact for two days prior to the deal. Pre approval lined up, what color i wanted, trim level, motor size etc. I was 15 minutes early to my appointment, and the vehicle I was looking at was already pulled around for my inspection. The trade in process was simple and direct. The whole visit was pleasant. The staff were wonderful and polite. Everything was laid out in front of me, I was able to see all of the numbers up front, no shady dealings or back door hidden fees or costs. Took my car in at 7:45 am for oil change and concern for weird noise. Was told oil change would be about $50 to include diagnostic tests. Around 12pm I was sent the report with about $4k worth of small repairs + tires. I chose which repairs we would want and didn’t hear back for about another hour. Rep told me all items were in stock and I should have my car that afternoon or first thing in the morning. Around 4:30 I called back to check status and she informed me they would need to keep my car until Friday (1 whole week). I was not prepared for that and asked about a loner vehicle which she informed me they did not have. Informed her I couldn’t go that long without transportation so I would take it somewhere else. Rep called back and said they could do have it done by Tuesday after speaking with her manager. I said that’s a little better but I still need a car. Rep said she would try to find one. After further conversation with my husband we decided we couldn’t make our schedule work without a loner and needed more time to figure out if the repairs that I needed truly came up to the amount listed. I called to tell them not to work on it and they were closed so I left a message. I was called back the following morning at 7:50 and told I couldn’t come get my car yet because there was some things they needed to put back. I went to pick it up that afternoon to be met with a bill for $250. All that was done was and oil and filter change. Basically I was charged for not accepting the repairs that they recommended to be done. Due to the lack of communication and explanation on my service reps end the whole ordeal was dragged out all day and the repair guy charged me for wasting his time $144. I believe I was taken advantage of because I am a woman with limited knowledge on car repairs and I was nickel and dimed for not accepting the services. Will not return.

I left a very detailed list of issues I have been having with this truck. Service department called me the following morning and told me that there were no issues as I stated and the tech could not duplicate the issues. Had them go ahead and perform an oil change service. Picked my truck up the following day and was told again that these issues did not exist. Got in my truck and had a warning of only 30 psi of air in front left tire. Aired it up myself. Truck has an air compressor mounted in the bed. Drove less than a mile down the road before the transmission started surging again. AC still doesn’t blow out of passenger side vent as it should. I am an industrial equipment mechanic and work on million dollar equipment daily. I know when equipment isn’t functioning properly. I refuse to return for service and refused to be talked to like an idiot.

After only 5 weeks of buying my 2019 Chevy Silverado High Country, the electronic parking brake would not disengage. Smicklas is the dealership I chose to help me resolve this issue. I dropped it off on Tuesday morning, and it was finally released back to me today after 4 days. As much as all of us want our vehicle to be priority and handled ASAP, the reality is that it takes time and a process. I’m grateful that Smicklas provided me a courtesy vehicle so that I could still have my own transportation, but nothing beats having your own vehicle back. I will most likely use Smicklas’ Service Department again for my truck’s service needs in the future.

Bought several vechical’s from them great service. But the last time I went in to trade two vehicles for a new truck they offered 1/2 what my truck was worth due to an incorrect Carfax report. My truck had been in an accident where it sustained I think approximately 1000.00 in fender repair but the Carfax report stated the truck had rolled over. Smicklas knew this was incorrect because they did the repairs. Was very disappointed

They are friendly. They sometimes take quite a bit longer than they tell you, but it seems kind of busy everytime I go so it doesn't really bother me and they seem to get it done right. The prices can be sort of high but the quality if work performed is worth it so you don't have to worry about your car giving out on you vs taking a crapshoot from a cheaper shady looking auto repair shop.

Took 2015 Chevrolet Cruz in to Chevrolet dealership with electric problems they said the fuse box under the hood needed to be replaced $788.00 later. I pick the car up and stereo and back up camera won’t work !! They where working fine before I brought it in to them Meet with Darrel the shop manager he basically called me a liar and said it need a new body control module I told him it was working before I brought it to him , the electric tech burnt my body control module out and needed another 780.00 to replace it. Very very bad service they didn’t want to take any responsibility for burning the body control module out. I wood not even take them a GEO METRO to work on. Thumbs Down

Service department is full nothing but excuses! Every time they have had my car it has never been fixed right the first time! They keep the car for days on end with no explanations or even a phone call. Customer service rep Vanessa was the rudest person I have ever met and had the nerve to ask why I needed my car baok! Also discovered they are using Chinese parts and not oem parts! Worst place I have ever delt with! I have a picture of the parts won’t allow me to post!

There is room for improvement with the service department. There does not seem to be much sense of urgency. My appointment time was 3:00pm and it was 3:30pm before my car was moved from the service bay. I was told it would be about 45 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation. That would have been a close estimate if there was not a delay to get my car into service and a delay after they finished to gather paperwork. I was surprised by the additional charges for filter and miscellaneous supplies.

I went in to get a new key fob programmed. They weren't able to do it but still tried to charge me a full hour of labor for trying. They ended up charging me for half an hour, and of course tried to convince me to buy a new fob from their in-house parts store. I'm sure theirs would have worked perfectly on the first try.

I guess I'm not the only one that had this type of issue.... took my car to get my window regulator put it on my driver side... after I got it back paying for labor and other fees... my side windows doesnt work and my left side window doesnt go up from the driver side.... so I took it back there for the second time... still couldn't fix it right and they still made me pay for the labors and etc. Its the best place to take to, when you have electrical issues! Oh to make things worse I have full proof that it was working before I took it to this place. Apparently Bob Howard Chevrolet service department are all liars and their diagnostics are bunch of bs according to Smicklas lol... this place is AWESOME

I am still waiting to get my windshield repaired. It had 3 dings when I bought the car and I was assured that they would be fixed as soon as there was a warm enough day. I had my car there for 3 days and the windshield ding has now begun to run a crack and I need to have it repaired post haste.

I bought a 2009 Honda odyssey on april 1st. The salesman and manager promised me they would replace the power steering pump for our purchase. They kept it 3 days AFTER we secured our loan, saying they were replacing that pump. Once we got to take our van, all was well. So we thought. Fast forward to June 14th. I'm driving my family to our summer vacation, and we get to right outside Amarillo tx. To make a long story short, in Amarillo, our van needs a new alternator. And a new power steering pump (WHAT?!), a new serpentine belt, a new power steering hose, a new battery. $1900. Thankfully they talked us into a warranty for the vehicle, so $200 deductible, plus $450 for the belt and hose not covered. Plus $52 rental car, plus $142 hotel for one night, 5 people. So one night into vacation, we are $800 in the hole. Warranty company couldn't ok the work without looking at it, and its Saturday morning by now. Warranty rep cant come look at it until tuesday, and approved work on wednesday. So, rental so we can continue our already paid for vacation, $650. (Now, $1450 in the hole). We finish our vacation, and we are glad to be getting home, to okc from amarillo. Except we get halfway, to sayre okla. And our van died again. So, $650 to tow it home, $200 given to a family member to come and get us from sayre. Insurance pays $150 for towing, so $500 for tow. So now we are $2150 in the hole. We get it looked at, at home. Its spark plugs. That's $100. $2250. As I'm writing this review (july 1) my van is in the shop. The "rack" (of rack and pinion steering), needs replaced. Also, the passenger wheel hub on the front. Thankfully the warranty covers it. For another $200 deductible. So. After all the trouble, hopefully our van will be fixed. $2450 later. I'll keep you all updated. So, lesson learned, DO NOT DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM THIS DEALER UNLESS YOU HAVE A TON OF MONEY TO DROP ON WARRANTY DEDUCTIBLES. Getting with dealership, they simply say that this is the gamble you take buying a used car.

I had some work done on my 2016 Chevrolet 2500HD which was out of warranty. I had an extended warranty but I was told by the service department that it didn't cover this work. I was walking down the hall and ran into Crystal Porter who handles extended warranty policies for Smicklas, and I explained what had happened that the policy didn't cover the replacement of leaf springs. She said that she would check on this issue for me. The next day she called me and said that she had talked to the company and they would check into this issue. The next Monday Crystal called and said that I would be getting a full refund of what I paid. Thanks again Crystal for your great service, and I look forward to doing business with you later down the road.

Good morning, I always have had a great experience at Smicklas Service Department since we moved from Altus Oklahoma 2 years ago. Once the car was serviced I was sent a text about replacing my tires, air filter and interior air filter. We chose to have the filters replaced but the maintenance person rolled there eyes and had attitude that she would have to take the car back and replace the filters. If I had know they needed replaced I would have said so whenI made the reservation for maintenance. I just wanted you dealership to know having a person that has an attitude so the customers can see hurts your company. Other than that all service was very good.

When my wife and I went to look at the selection of Traverses at the dealership, we had decided that we were not going to buy a car that night. We had purchased vehicles many years ago from the dealership, and were not happy with the experience. Colton came out and immediately established a positive report with us. He was extremely helpful and asked if he could have our business. We asked for pricing and the amount quoted was competitive with other offers we had seen. We told Colton that we wanted to think about it overnight and that we would let him know by 10:00 the following morning. When we notified him that we were ready to buy, we wanted only the vehicle at the price quoted with no add ons, financing, extended warranties, etc... Our daughter was in town and we did not have a lot of time to spend at the dealership, at most we had 45 minutes to complete the sale. Because of a regional finance director being in town, the message was not delivered and we were asked about giving the dealership a shot at financing. We told the finance person about our lack of time and that we had discussed that we were not interested in financing or warranties you could tell that she was not happy. She was very curt, but we were able to finish the sale within an hour of arriving at the dealership. That would be the negative of the experience, but not enough that we would not recommend the dealership to family and friends.

After an extremely rough beginning, all of our issues have been resolved. Kara and Daryl took great care of the situation in a timely manner. We'll definitely do business with them in the future, but it will be directly through Kara and/or Daryl because they are the ones that rectified the situation when Carlin and Leonard left us out to dry. My husband had more communication with Kara than I did, so I can't elaborate as much on her customer expertise as I can Daryl. I will say that he is a major asset to this dealership. He was very attentive, and caring. He's a straight shooter, no BS about it. I was comfortable asking him questions and he answered everything I asked thoroughly to which I completely understood every answer he gave me. He believes in great customer care and it really shows. It probably wouldn't hurt having the sales team job shadow the service team or at least Daryl. I can't thank that man enough!
